This is a busy airfield

Notice Bill Derenburger and Francois Dumas .

The guy handling the fuel barrels is not a member.

Members fly in using their GES plane.

The airplane skeleton in  the back of the hangar is from an old fictitious homebuilt.
Night flying using kerosene torches (pots)

Normally  used for indicating construction road hazards, those were often used to light runways at night.

They were individually lit, hand laid and not very bright

They were also very dirty to handle. Hence, they were referred to  as 'PIGS'.
The hangars are closed at night and very busy  during the day.
