Kiefer Sutherland plays yuppie FBI agent John Buckner, assigned to escort 60's radical Huey Walker (Dennis Hopper) to trial. He thinks it will be easy. Huey outwits John and the police, and escapes, only to find himself back in the clutches of the FBI, after convincing a 60's reminiscent pair that Huey Walker is actually in jail.
John goes back to get Huey and when he discovers something, they both end up at John's childhood home: a hippy community.
One of the best things about this movie is the storyline. It makes you think that both Dennis and Kiefer's characters have been established, but by the end of the movie, you find that they have almost swapped personalities in the duration of a great plot.
All the actors were terrific in this movie, which certainly also contributed to a worthwhile watch! It's definitely recommended. |
