Wind

How unseen and mysterious is the wind,
Which nestles in the trees and waves the plains,
Which sails the world around, and moves the rains
From place to place, and yet no one can find
The magic source, the birth of this strange thing.
Without the breeze, the weather naught would change.
The ships would never sail, the flowers range,
And birds of every feather not take wing.
Magellan circled all the world around.
Neil Armstrong went up to the moon and back.
Many exploreres have all found a lack
Of knowledge that is competent and sound.
For no one can comprehend or compose
The nature of the wind or where it blows.
