Sunset by the Sea

Standing on the balcony,
Looking out across the sea.
Your face is lit by candlelight,
A vision pure of beauty bright.

We walk along, across the sand,
Eye to eye, hand in hand.
I see you smile, your eyes still shine,
Your spirit filled with love divine.

We sit beneath a shady tree
And hear the music of the sea.
You rest your head upon my arm.
The wind is cold, yet we are warm.

You toss your hair into the breeze
That rolls the waves and rocks the trees.
Through the wind, we dance away,
'Til sun sets on this joyous day.

The stars are born unto the night,
But they shall dim upon your sight.
