[Wolftooth ] ((Just had a thought ... private room instead?))

[Razor ] -naw, if my comp croaks its harder for me to come back in

[Razor ] (just promote randomly for others to be able to kick non players out

Dunithenail doesnt think a provate room is necessary, most people are quite happy to leave quietly and the few that arent well, we deal with them the hard way, no problem :)

Dunithenail has last posts if they're wanted :)

[Ticker ] Bwahahahahaha! the power! ;)

Kaelie wouldn't mind a quick refresher

Razor eases into her skin, recalling as well that Kesyn's player has her pict link too!

[Razor ] -type in /refresh 3 Kaelie, some times it works

Wolftooth stows the urge to kick Ticker. "Indeed ... recap!!" *calls the RP to order* "Everybody tell me one thing you know of that happened last time!"

[Dunithenail ] 07:35:15 Kaelie drops back a little at the first sign of trouble. She figures it'd give her a little more time to asses what she needs to do. Be it join the fray or stay far enough away to be at a relativly safe distance.

Wolftooth smacks his forehead at Razor.

[Dunithenail ] 07:35:29 Wolftooth glances sidelong to Kesyn for a moment, then drops back to reach her. Without a word, he would reach over to place a hand underneath the base of the saddle-bags and press up, lightening the load substantially. If that were successful, he would simply try to take the saddlebags entirely upon his shoulders.

[Dunithenail ] 07:36:01 Razor Kesyn: moves with casual grace right down the center of the street, bold as brass. She doesnt chase the fleeing people, actually secretly finding it rather amusing. She takes her time approaching the group headed that way, being met by Kesyn's scowling face. She merely moves through them as though unmindfull of the commotion she caused, not stopping until she reaches Kesyns side and walks around her legs. Kesyn responds by dropping the saddle bags onto her shoulders with more force then necessary, muttering something for the felines ears alone before moveing after the others. "Sorry about that. She's harmless...really."

[Dunithenail ] 07:37:49 [Razor] Kesyn: *she'll smile kindly at Wolf for his assistance, then only take them back and drop them on Razor

[Dunithenail ] 07:38:43 [Wolftooth] Halyad seems to pause as he sees the source of the trouble ... a large, shadowy looking sort of cat. He simply closes his eyes and shakes his head, muttering something in elven before continuing into the inn.

Ticker was loved and accepted by all! ...Wolf, ;)

[Dunithenail ] 07:40:05 Ticker follows along at a slightly slower pace. Wiether this is him just staying out of range or not, is hard to tell. He smirk slightly at the screams and yells, he ponders going off and chasing a few villagers. ...Just to. ...He quietly laughs to himself, which end up sounds like an odd series of chips and cheeps to anyone close enough to hear

[Dunithenail ] 07:42:33 Dunithenail 's blade is half out of it's sheathe before he recognises the source of the commotion. It drops back a moment later as he makes his little cross with his hands again "Bless you, Daughter for your exhuberance and playfulness." trying to look on the bright side, certainly, at least it wasnt anything serious

Razor 's trouble with a capital T on four furry feet!

[Dunithenail ] That's everyone's last posts I think

Ticker pokes Wolf, wasnt he sposed to log this and throw it up on his page? =P

[Dunithenail ] Razor's just caused a commottion and the party is rushing off to see the Lady and were interrupted by that

Wolftooth is behind on more than just that log, Ticker. Life has been busy lately. Soon, I promise.

Ticker shrugs he was just curious, O_o

[Wolftooth ] Yes, the group was going back to the inn to see Syldah Ranil, a young elven noblewoman of the house of Ranil.

[Wolftooth ] What else?

Razor think sthat Wolf is to narrate now?

[Kaelie ] The villagers were mutter about something, and the Dark man announced a sweet reward for the Elixer

Razor also spied on the dude offering the reward

[Kaelie ] As far as I know no one really paid much attention to what the villagers were going on about.

Dunithenail did, as he recalls, it was the elixir, no?

Ticker notes it was some metor that hit,

[Wolftooth ] Right, and the elixir is located in the forests on the other side of Greenhorn Valley ... allegedly. That's all the main points, really.

[Kaelie ] Welcome to the fray Linsida ;)

Ticker notes for Lins, that so far posting order just goes down the list,

Dunithenail posted last to most likely it's Kaelie to post?

[Wolftooth ] Halyad, the elven protector of the mistress Syldah, has just recently reached the inn. Another grumble is given to the odd assemblage following him, as well as the villager's reactions. He turns now to the ground, speaking in the proud voice of a warrior. "I will go upstairs and let them know you are coming. I should tell you now, you will be asked to leave your weapons at the door. And do your best to show the lady respect," he adds sternly, though his face falls a little. "Lady Syldah is ... not in the best state of mind or health." With that, Halyad enters the inn and heads for the stairs.

Linsida notes to skip her untill she's cought up with the GM.

[Wolftooth ] ((Dun? Why don't you go ahead? *nudges*))

Kaelie glances side long at the rag-tag group, and shrugs as she follows the elven knight into the inn as she'd left her weaponry in her room. She waits at the foot of the stairs and takes the time to convertly observe those with her.

Dunithenail shakes his head "I cannot leave my sword behind, it is instrumental in calling down the holy powers of Ortesk." Without his sword he will be doing no healing at all, besides which he is not at all eager to leave his weapons lying around. He's built and equiped to be self contained on the move and leaving valuable equipment in the hands of others is not at all a good idea. He'll keep them if he can, at all costs

[Wolftooth ] ((*pokes Razor, as Linsida said to be skipped, unless ... Are you ready, Linsida? Any other questions?))

[Razor ] Keysln looks down at Razor for a moment at the words 'Leaving your weapons at the door' and briefly considers making her wait outside. But after witnessing the villagers reactions to her not to mention her habit of doing what she wants when she wants, Keysln quickly dimisses the idea as one that would not be advisable. She ventures into the inn, Razor padding along companionishly by her side instantly starting to sniff the air for any scents that linger that might belong to either of those she 'encountered' a short time ago in the upstairs hall. Her ears twitch as she listens to words being spoken though gamely remains at Keyslns side

[Razor ] -actually i was waiting for Kaelie as Keysln is a KE and KA comes first =P

[Razor ] course Kaelie went before Dun and she was not suposed to! mes with my mind willyou! and Dun should have done Dev as well =P

Linsida notes she didn't get anything since her second wh to Wolf.

[Wolftooth ] ((No big deal ... Razor has posted, so next is Ticker.))

[Kaelie ] ((We'll figure out the whole going in order thing eventually Raz ~.^))

Ticker hisses slightly and chitters as he unstraps the kama and takes the bow off his back. He glances around the room rather quickly befor scurrying off to a corner and placing his weapons within. Chittering slightly at having to leave them but complying none the less. He then turns around and curls up infront of them ...hissing ever so slightly but then going quiet as he waits for them to be let in.

Wolftooth grumbles at hearing he must leave his weapons behind. A glance is given to the axes hanging at his waist. "I'll stay outside." With that, Wolftooth glances around the inn's waiting room, finds a chair, and plomps down into it roughly. Halyad looks at Dunithenail suspiciously. "Since when does a healer need a weapon to perform his healing?" After a bit of consideration, though, he yields, continuing up the stairs. "Fine ... but I shall watch you myself." Wolftooth eyes Ticker's weapons with a strange look from underneath his hood, then eyes Ticker with an even stranger one ... but says nothing. Just then, the high-pitched, shrill sound of laughter comes down from upstairs ... a terrible noise, almost sounding less like mirth and more like pure agony.

[Wolftooth ] Halyad closes his eyes, wincing visibly, as he opens the door to Syldah's room. Inside, a handful of attendants are gathered around the bed in the far corner, upon which a young elven maiden rests. Slowly, with a bit of administered care from one of them, Syldah's shrieking laughter slowly subsides, leaving her to a quiet and restless slumber. This young elven woman bears the beauty of a meadow flower, exquisite yet delicate features. Her hair is a strong color of brown the likes of which no human could possibly possess. She is dressed in a white lace gown with a flowing V-neck and faint blue trimming. A beautiful sapphire pendant hangs from her neck, and a pair of pearl earrings adorn her graceful pointed ears. She also seems to bear a number of rings, each composed of a different metal and precious stone. She does not seem well at all, her skin pale and pasty. Her head rolls constantly from one side to the other across the pillow from time to time, her movements slow and weak.

[Wolftooth ] ((Alrighty. Linsida? You're after Kaelie.))

[Linsida ] Hai hai. ^_~

Linsida is wondering if it's her turn yet?

Dunithenail appears to smile behindf his helmet, but it could just as easily be something else. A small click and his hand comes around bearing his mace "This you may take and if I prove false use upon myself." He has no trouble giving up the mace, but the sword is Holy and he wont let it go. He draws the blade as he enters teh room, most likely causing consternation, but the flat of the blade is presented, not teh edge and his voice booms out, rich and wholesome "Great Ortesk, bring down your power to this place of darkness, banish the shadows with light. I, your humble servant Dunithenail beseech this of you." As he speaks his name the sword blazes with purest white light almost painful to look at. Without stopping at all he advances towards Syldahs sick bed, his gauntletted hand touching her head as he prepares to speak again. It's certainly very flashy, but even he is incertain whether his coming attempt at healing the Elven Maiden will have any effect at all

[Dunithenail ] Devlin follows along, mostly trying to stay behind Kesyn, purely for the view. He's smiling softly to himself, almost radiating a quiet satisfaction in himself. This is certainly a little entertainment and with a little luck profitable entertainment as well

Kaelie involuntarily winces with Halyad at the painfully shrill laughter. She hadn't had many good experiences with the mentally imbalanced, and quietly hoped that the Lady Syldah had not been driven mad by her illness. Trailing after Dunithenail, Kaelie enters the room, but she keeps herself comfortably out of the way.

Linsida shakes her head slowly at Dunithenail, "If it was that easy I think my spells would of worked by now." as she genlty lays a kiss on the Lady's cheek. "I've been at it for a few days and I don't think this is a normal happening..." as she frowns, her lips pout ever so slightly. "I wish I knew more healing, but that isn't my forte."

Razor follows the others up to the room, though Dunithenails little showy display of light has her back peddling out the door and nearly over turning Keysln and who ever might be behind her, actually turning tail and bolting down the stairs to skid to a hault under the table that is near the chair that Wolftooth occupies. She hisses louder and longer then Ticker did over leaving his things behimd, she definately didnt like that at all. Keysln nearly falls over onto Devlin, righting herself to move into the room, though she too has to look away from the bright light, she moves along the wall to be out of everyone elses way, periodicly looking towards the door to see if Razor comes back...she doesnt.

Ticker slightly wince at the ...noise, but otherwise pays it little heed. He chirps slightly though, when he steps aways from the corner he had chosen. Following th group and almost hopping up the stairs as he goes. ...He stays olldy quiet the whole time though. Barely blinking when Dunithenails sword flares. He jumps and partly scrambles up the wall though when Razor almost runs him down, sending a long and hard hiss at her tail as she goes down the stairs. ....He takes care not to look directly at it while he takes in the room, ...and to stay back and out of the way as much as possable.

[Wolftooth ] Upon seeing Dunithenail draw steel and approach, the attendents cry out and begin to scatter from the bright light, revealing the woman upon the bed more clearly to everyone. Halyad quickly calls out to them, holding up a hand. "It's alright! He may be able to heal Lady Syldah!" Halyad then turns to Linsida, hope in his eyes. "At least let him try ... what could be the harm if he fails?" Wolftooth is seen with a small knife and a twig, carving away at its end. As Razor appears, he pauses, raising an eyebrow and looking upstairs to wonder what on earth may have spooked the poor creature. A moment later, he simply grunts and shakes his head, continuing to carve ... though his curious gaze seems drawn to the odd creature under the table from time to time.

Dunithenail lays his hand on the Lady's forehead, as best he can with her movements and speaks loudly again "Great One, your child is hurt and needs healing, Bring down your light to this vale of tears and drive away her ills." As he speaks the light spreads down his sword arm and across to his hand on her head. very flashy, very bright and imppressive looking. It's easy to see why the order has such influence amngst the peasants, why they are so sought out in some places. The steel covering his hand grows warm and healing energy flows into the Elven Lady, but he's no healer, wounds he can treat, but if it's poison or magic he has little effect on it. He stays, frozen in place for a long moment. If there's no visible reaction from her though he draws back his hand, and then sheathes the sword, shutting down the blazing light

[Dunithenail ] Devlin watches with interest, taking a careful look at the lady on the bed, but really he's more interested in watching Kesyn's rear at this point than anything else. he's in a perfact position to catch her when she moves back, his hands slipping around her for a moment to make sure she's steady, very steady before he lets go again, his smile a little......brighter

Kaelie grumbles under her breath as she squints to see what the walking set of armor does with that sword shaped firey beacon. She had next to no experience with seeing healers work thier particular magics, but the way her pupils had contracted to near nothingness kept her from leaning farther forward to asuage her curiosity. With a little shake of her head she blinks away the after image of the healing light and dares to look openly at the elven knight to asses his reaction.

Linsida looks Wolftooth,"Oh alright but you owe me if he doesn't." as she gives him a rather flirtasous wink. She watches Dunithenail do his work and sighs slightly. "Oh dear I'm sad that I'm right this time around." giveing the man in the thick armor a small encorangeing smile, maybe even suggestive. "Anyone else going to have a go?" as she gentle stokes the Lady's hair down from her head.

[Wolftooth ] ((Looks at Halyad, you mean?))

Linsida corrects herself Halyad.

Razor continues to make noises under the table, some times growling, sometimes merely hissing. She moves alot under the table as though seeking a comfortable spot though really searching for the darkest shadows beneath it before finally laying down in one place, not even an inch of her exposed to any direct light source, her fur still standing on end for a while longer. Keysln remains near the wall watching Dun and his flowery words and seemingly over exadurated actions. After a few moments her eyes adjust to the bright light, allowing her to clearly see him with in the encompasing brightness. She doesnt say anything as yet, merely watching.

[Wolftooth ] ((This may give you all a better image of Halyad.)) An elf of noble bearing, brown of hair with grey eyes, with the look of a warrior about him. A soft cloak of forest green drapes about his shoulders and back, with the crest of a certain elven household of noteworthy importance emblazoned proudly on the back. His finely crafted and well tended breastplate bears a slight greenish tint at its edges of the metal. A large composite bow is slung over his back, and a wicked looking, two-handed falchion sheathed at his side. Soft brown leather boots seem to make hardly a sound as he moves. His face is narrow and clouded by something.

Ticker glances around the room and moves in. He stays towards the back wall and by the door if he can help it. Oddly watching Dunithenail and Syldah, his head tilted sideways as if he finds the whole show ...out of place. He stays quiet though and about ignores anyother goings on in the room.

[Wolftooth ] As the healing light brought forth by Dunithenail subsides, there appears to be little change in Syldah's condition. Her head still lolls from side to side, barely conscious, and her skin is still clammy and pale. One of the attendants comes up and feels Syldah's forehead with the back of her slender, aged hand ... then quickly frowns and shakes her head. Halyad visibly droops for a moment, shaking his head as well. "It was worth a try, at least." He looks politely to the armored knight. "Thank you, but I think our only chance at healing Lady Syldah is this fabled elixir. As I stated before, we are willing to offer a reward to any who brings us this elixir." Beyond that, Halyad falls silent, his pleading gaze turning to each person in the upstairs room. At Linsida's suggestive wink, Halyad's face hardens to a stony consistency, softened only by the aid Linsida has given to Lady Syldah for all this time.

Wolftooth now does something surprising ... he sets aside his carving for a moment, reaching out a hand and speaking in a low and surprisingly soothing voice, trying to calm Razor as one would calm any upset creature, though his actions and tone express a keener understanding of feline instinct than most would possess. "Easy ... you're fine ... easy, girl ..."

Razor thinks she just bit Wolfs hand off o.O

Wolftooth quickly sees the teeth coming and withdraws his hand before it gets chomped off, huffing indignantly to himself and resuming his carving, keeping a wary eye on Razor now.

Dunithenail lowers himself to his knees, his head bowed. It could be in exhaustion or prayer, there certainly isnt any outward sign from the heavily armoured man. Just as he knelt though, one of his eyes may have appeared to wink to Linsida, possibly. It could just be a trick of the light, but possibly not, again no sign either way from him. He rises slowly "As you say, we waste time here when we achieve nothing. Others will quest for this elixir as well. Great Ortesk watch over you, Lady, we return as soon as possible." He holds his hand out for his mace again, clipping it back in place with the ease of long practise. It;s time they were off, there is evil to be vanquished and a Lady to save, one of the Fair Folk to boot

[Dunithenail ] Devlin watches the lightshow with disinterest more than anything else. Far more interesting is the rest of the party, well certain members of the party. Not only is there whopping great wadged of cash to be had, he has a little eye candy while doing it. He's starting to love this little village. he's very carefuil not to be caught staring though, that's the easiest way to get slkapped and he has other plans for those slender hands, a grin playing over his features. Some of The Holy Knight's radiance seems to have stuck though, on Devlin's skin, or perhaps it's just a trick of the suddenly returning shadows

Kaelie resists the urge to smirk out right at Halyad's reaction to Linsida's lurid wink. In her time among the elven people she had in a quiet way been taught that humans were barely a step above being a half breed like herself; well, only those few humans considered to be of use anyway. However, she does allow herself a small knowing smile for a moment before slippig into a more suitably serious expression. "You have my services for this task.." her voice echoing her contemplative mood. Although, I may get nothing more out of this than a Lady's gratitude and my mother's approval... but there are always other options.. She lets another small smile dart across her lips as she nods slightly, more to herself than to the elven knight, but who would judge her action for something other than what it appears to be?

Linsida smiles egmaticaly, "Well I suppose I should go along, I prefer finishing what I started." She slowly moves away from the Lady Syldah and gives her another kiss on the forhead. "May love find it's true goal." as she moves back toward the group that's entered. "I shall go with any that look for the elixir, and offer my training to heal..." as she licks her lips alittle. "..Anyone that comes to harm." as she looks over the others and even smiles at Kaelie, in a pleasant if in a seemingly too familar look . "Oh I think I'm going to enjoy this quest..." as she bows majesticly to Halyads. "Thank you for gift of protection Halyad, it shall come in handy," as she slips abit of her robe open to show a bit of glimering mithral.

Razor 's like a live wire, on edge and definately not hospitabitable. She ends up snapping at Wolf, misses bigtime, ending up snapping her jaws close around the the table leg. The table promptly collapses on one side, tipping and then falling over as she bolts out from under it, though not quickly enough to avoid it coliding with her himd quarters. She darts beneath another table, scaring the daylights out of who ever is seated there. She's making low mewling noises now as though in pain, the new table shifting each time she thumps into one of the legs. Keysln merely continues to wait, though looks towards the door at the noise from below, having a bad feeling that like as not Razor is causing trouble.

Ticker shakes his head after the whole thing is over, if only to get the spots from his eyes, he then take in the rest of the room and everyone in it. Tilting his head and blinking an eye at Devlin's .....glow. He then give himself a quick look over and shakes his head slightly giving off a small chirp. He quicky glances around again before just curling up be the door, his head darting about slightly as he watch the room and the people in it. ...otherwise though, he makes no moves, So far he's with the group one way or the other, ...mostly for the extra money for his long trip south.

[Wolftooth ] Halyad hands the mace back to Dunithenail, nodding appreciatively. "I wish that I could accompany you, but ... as I said, my duty lies to my lady. I must remain here for her sake. I do wish you all the best of luck." With that, Halyad wearily finds himself a seat and asks one of the attendants for a glass of water, hand brought to forehead and rubbing in a soothing manner as his gaze falls to the floor.

Wolftooth frowns as he watches the shadowy cat break one table and scurry under another, mewling pathetically as the table's previous occupants quickly leave in a flurry of panic. He tilts his head upon hearing an odd chirping noise coming from upstairs, likely from the odd winged reptilian creature. Shaking his head, he looks back to Razor, approaching in a slow manner so as not to spook her again, hands open and empty to show her he means no harm while trying to calm her down. The innkeeper simply watches nervously, clearly hoping that the second table isn't broken in a similar manner. "Nobody here's gonna hurt ya ... just take it eeeasy," Wolftooth says in his low, gutteral, soothing voice, not seeming to do much better than last time.

Dunithenail bows "Of course." He expected nothing less "let all those who quest be prepared and ready to leave from the front of this building in ten minutes." easy enough for him, all he has to do is go fetch his mount from the stables, doesnt even have to saddle the poor beast. He turns, leaving the room as quietly as it's possible to do in full plate armour. He moves down the stairs, loud thumps coming from his feet, scrapes and clanks of metal from the rest of his armour. He's on the move, they leave soon

[Dunithenail ] Devlin shakes his head, awfully full of himself for a tin can this knight fellow. But he's eager to be going as well. Money, money, money, women, money money. With one often comes the other and he's just about rubbing his hands in glee and anticipation

Kaelie knows a dismisal when she hears one, and barely keeps herself from darting out the door in responce to some rather unwanted and hardly forgotten childhood training. However, she does remember to bow her head formally before making her retreat. She hurries to her room, knowing it won't take her but a moment so slip on her sword belt and gather her belongings. She hoped that reading her mare would be as easy.

Linsida smiles at the rest of the group and moves to the side to get her things. Then goes down to get her mount and traveling equment ready. "Oh what a lovey day to have an O.... Hmm maybe I shouldn't say that right now." as she blinks and looks around.

[Kaelie ] *readying >.

[Razor ] *Keysln gives a polite nod of goodbye before going out after the others, quickly skirting Devlin and Kaelie before pushing past Dunithenail on the stairs. The damn cat is causing trouble again, likely eating someone right there in the inns mainroom! She comes to an abrupt hault at the sight of Wolf trying to lure Razor out from under the table and the cats 'get the hell away from me' attitude. Razor draws her lip up to bare her teeth at Wolf, more then a couple of splinters from the tables leg in her mouth, some sticking out of the tender flesh on the inside of her lip, one in her tongue. Claws are unsheathed, paws flexing as Keysln gives up on her posturing and storms over to the table to thump on the top of it with her hand. "Stop it!" Razor crouches and hisses again, though the claws vanish inside her paws

Ticker tilts his head at the elves ...but otherwise doesnt move. He gives a small chirp and what could almost be taken for a bow after everyone else is out of the room. He then scrurrys out, down the stairs and straight over to his weapons, ...which he slips on as soon as he gets to them, .....and quietly curls back up in that corner. He blinks slightly at the whole thing with Razor. Missing that as he ran for his weapons. He sits there and watches the whole thing, softing chittering at all the ...odd goings on today.

[Wolftooth ] After the last of the group leaves Syldah's room, the door is quickly closed. Meanwhile, downstairs, Wolftooth is still trying to calm Razor down, in spite of the show of teeth. The splinters were probably painful, and it just isn't any good to have an edgy kitty in a place like this. As Kesyn comes downstairs and hammers on the tabletop, Wolftooth jumps back in surprise, blinking at Kesyn, then looking back to Razor. "She broke a table," he states factually. "I was trying to calm her. She may be hurt." Another side glance is given to Ticker as he scampers in, returning to his weapons as if they were long lost relatives, but his attention soon returns to the feline and her 'owner.'

[Wolftooth ] The innkeeper peers up over the front desk. "Ummm," he says in a timid voice, "excuse me, miss? Is that your, err ... cat?"

Dunithenail stops where he is on teh stairs. He's seen something like this before, Animals tend to react badly to the Holy Light, leading many in the order to regard them as Evil. Strange, how things work, when they're simply scared of the blinding white light, especially the cats. He's standing out of the way until the whole situation is sorted out. It will be quicker if he doesnt get involved unless asked, he was teh source of that light in the first place, seems him and the Winged One's cat are starting off on a bad footing

[Dunithenail ] Devlin shakes his head, standing very carefully behind the tin can and his bid sword untill this is cleared up. Just because he's chasing ass doesnt mean he wants his own torn up by angered kitties. He's chuckling softly though, enjoying the entertainment of it

Linsida blinks as she makes her way down to the commens and looks about as everyone staying away from the table with the large cat under it. She sighs and shakes her head as she finishes her packing and heads around the lot to get to the outside door.

Linsida apologizes for that out of turn move, enter was hit alittle too early.

Kaelie slips into her dull grey leathers and buckles on her sword belt. She breaths a sigh of relief that she had decided to keep most of her belongings packed as she scoops up the few odd-n-ends to dump them uncerimoniously into her satchel like backpack. She double checks her hidden belt pouch for her speciallized tools before shouldering her backpack. She takes a moment to shoulder her saddle bags and tuck her bedroll under an arm. And, without much cerimony, she slips out of her room and into the stables through the servants' entrance. Mostly to avoid the unpleasant noises coming from the common room.

[Razor ] Keysln bestows Wolf with a charming smile, nearly as bright as the glow of Dun's sword when he performed upstairs. "She's just high strung." She assures him, placing both hands on the table to give it a shake. "Come out of there and be nice ." Surprisingly, Razor creeps out from under the table and sits down just past the edge at Keyslns feet. Crouching down, Keysln shows no hesitation in prying open Razors mouth, grimaching as she uses two fingers to pull out the small splinters, mumbling about the stupidity of biting furniture as she drops them on the floor. Razor sits more or less passivly through this, only pulling her head back one Keysln is finished. She licks repeatedly at her muzzle before padding over to the dropped saddlebags, lowering her head to slide beneath the joining flap and wiggling until its in place on her back. Keysln rises and smiles again at Wolf, taking out a square of cloth to wipe off her saliva wet hands. "She really is harmless." She tells him again.

Ticker watchs the whole thing with the ...cat. Chittering over it slightly, his head tilted almost sideways at times. He then ...stands and shakes his head while he adjust his weapons, snaking his head around to see they're all fitting in order and where they should be incase he has to take off. He then drops back down and almost bolts for the door. When he's out he trys to find a place with a good view to curlup and wait for everyone else to get around and ready to go.

Wolftooth keeps his eyes on Razor as slowly everyone begins to gather in the downstairs common room of the inn, prepared for the journey ahead. As Linsida approaches, he moves aside to let her pass, eyeing her curiously as he has not seen her before. At Kesyn and Razor's exchange, however, Wolftooth seems to watch the pair interact with keen interest. And, what's that? A hint of a smile? Yes, a slow smile of respect creeps over his face, though something still nags at him. "She tried to bite me." More looks behind and around as the others pass by, geared up and ready to go. "Are we leaving?" he asks in the same, gutteral voice. A wary glare is shot to Ticker. "And who invited ... that? "

Dunithenail walks down the stairs when Razor is composed again, moving through the common room to the stables. He stops a moment when he hears Wolftooth though "It seems to have invited itself. This is not a closed quest, all who desire it may quest for the Elixir. I am certain the creature has useful skills, perhaps as tracker and saboteur." Attacking the enemy from teh sides and behind perhaps. As far as he's concerned Ticker can come as long as he proves hismelf useful. A shortt while later he appears riding his horse from the stables, A large animal, but somewhat resigned to it's fate as the mount of one of the Knights of Ortesk. It lives with it's saddle on it's back at all times and eats when it can and often has to face fearsom and terrible creatures, which it does with a kind of resigned fatalism, plodding into the square now. Dunithenail doesnt dismount, just waiting fro everyone else to be ready

[Dunithenail ] Devlin shakes his head, gathering his equipment together and waiting at the bar, getting in a quick ale from the inkeep before they go, even remembering to pay for this one, He's about to be rich, Rich, Rich, beautiful women will flock to him like doves, and he'll take his pic of the very best. Little plans running through his head, more what to do with these mythical women of his once he has them than actually getting the elixir, but he's ready for the coming adventure

Kaelie ,by some miracle, had found a stable boy to help her get the mare saddled and ready to go with as little duress as posible. She wasn't entirely attached to the skittish animal, but she knew how to handle her and had gotten a decent price for the thing, which in it's own way made up for the mild disatisfaction she felt. She double checks the ties on her bedroll behind the saddle, and walks the mare out of the stable after tossing the boy a modest coper.

Linsida watches the others ready a moment before pushing out to call for the stable boy and getting her trained horse out of the stables, and ready for rideing, getting the rather large saddle bags ready and stocked. "Yes yes this shall do nicely." As she gets in and looks at the straps. "Now if I can just remember what order." as she starts fiddleing with them untill a minute or two later she's in properly of the saddle and moves up toward Dunithenail.

Luminitsa walks down the hill towards the village

[Razor ] Keysln looks at Ticker to stall, thinking of how to answer Wolf. "She's umm...she doen't like bright lights." She manages finally, that she's more or less lying is clear when she doesnt look directly at Wolf but at Dun as they go outside, her smile fading just a little, not as warm and enviting at it was before. She shoulders her own things, giving Razor a pat on her flanks. "Do not go after the horse." She says with a low warning tone, knowing the cat has revenge on its mind right now. Razor doesnt answer ofcourse, merely lays her ears back in a sign of being still ticked off, but she doesnt go for the other animal, though with Kaelies appearance with the mare has her nearly salavating. Keysln taps her on the head. "Dont even think about it." Razor sits down, calmly waiting for them to depart.

Ticker ...being already headed for the door at Wolf's ....remark, doesnt even bother to hiss at him as he goes by. He stays curled up where he is outside though, waiting on the group. When its looks like most of them have gathered he trys to scurry up above the front of the inn where he can see the group and waits for them there, ....aslong as they dont take too much longer.

Wolftooth glances at the armored knight's noble steed ... just glances. The two make for quite a picture. And then another horsed figure appears. And another. Wolftooth seems to grumble at this for some reason ... perhaps because he knows the terrain that the group will be venturing forth into. To Kesyn and Razor, he says nothing further, merely nodding proudly. Unlike the others, Wolftooth already had his pack on his back, ready to leave at any time, never having been fond of towns to begin with. He exits the inn and looks to the others now, eyeing each one in turn. "Have any of you been to Greenhorn Valley?" he asks in his harsh, monotone voice, not really expecting an affirmative answer from any of them.

Dunithenail doesnt bother answering Wolftooth, he's never been in this area before and is one of the first of his order to venture to this region in many years. He'll tackle this the way he's been trained to, head on, with steel in his hand and the light of Ortesk shining around him. He doesnt do subtle unless he has to. he's simply waiting to lead his little group out to face the evil of the orcs and rescue the fair Lady Syldah, nothing more

[Dunithenail ] Devlin shakes his head "Never been in this area, tough area?" There is one little flaw in his plan, he doesnt actualy have the elixir and the money yet

[Kaelie ] "I haven't been in Greenhorn long enough to get curious about the countryside..." she smiles crookedly and offers Wolftooth a half-shrug followed by a small shake of her head.

Linsida shakes her head no. "I'm traveling here and there to spread alittle joy and Love in lands." The would love comeing out as something alittle husky and well ment. "Why do you ask?" as she settles into the saddle.

[Razor ] Keysln half expects to see a bunch of trumpeting angles heralding Duns' departure from the village, some how it seems...fitting. She looks at Wolf with his words, resting a hand casually on Razors head before shaking her own. "No, we came from the other direction." She is taking for granted that the metor is where they valley is which was in the opposite direction from which they came. Razor slides down to the ground, yawning as she does what she does best, eye up the horses for a snack.

Ticker doesnt make a sound or a reply of anytype to Wolf's queston. He just stays up where he is on his little perch. Watching the group, ...and the town, ....and whatever else might catch his attention, As hard as that is to do. He does take times to glances over his wings alittle though before the group moves out.

Wolftooth grunts in acknowledgement, nodding once. "Three day's journey on foot," he says, jerking a thumb behind him to indicate the direction of travel. He now looks to the horses, eyes narrowing. "Two days on horseback. But horses will not go into the deep valley. The trail there is steep and narrow. Orcs dwell in the bottom, as I said before. Across the river, a cave leads up to the other side and into the forest." Wolftooth now looks to the others to see if they have a problem with any of this.

Kaelie frowns thoughtfully. Hmmm.. lose the animal to orcs or various forest predators, or pay for more stabling... She sighs visibly as she dismounts. "I'll restable my horse and collect a few things from my saddle bags then."

Dunithenail listens quietly, once again appearing to be little more than a statue mounted on an almost unmoving horse. It seems to know that some sort of spectacle is required and it lifts it's head proudly, althiough it doesnt seem overly enthusiastic. It just left a warm cosy stable for, knowing the knights, hardship and danger. His rider is merely waiting fro the rest of the party to be ready. Orcs are no real problem to him, he'll destroy them where he can and the jourey is no ptoblems either. His horse will be coming with, it seems, no matter what, and it knows it

Dunithenail was carrying out doctor's orders :P

Linsida shakes her head. "I will not leave Coten, he's been with me since I've started and I won't leave him behind now. He's proablely better fighting then I am." as she frowns alittle with her lips forming that small lip pout.

[Razor ] Keysln had not much to say at this point, she's use to walking, so's Razor though the later has a tendency to wander off once and a while..its doubtful that the feline will have problems making her way though the forest or down into the valley

[Dunithenail ] Devlin watches all this a little impatiently, they're arguing about horses when he has lucious women waiting for him. he just wants this over with, he has things to see and people to do once this is done

Wolftooth simply sighs, saying nothing further about the horses. The sooner they left, the sooner they would find out for themselves. And so, Wolftooth turns and slumps in one direction, feet plodding along as he leads the way out of town, to the trail that will take the group to their adventure. ((Good place to stop for the night?))

Razor thinks so, though knows they didnt get as far as Wolf wanted them too =P

Ticker just shakes his head and chrips sharply. He rechecks his weapons, flexs his wings, and gives a little push with his legs. ....His wings spearding and catching the air with a slight crack. He glides forward slightly then flaps his wings, heading up, and then gliding in circles above the group. ...just waiting for them to get a move on. (finishes his post then =P)

Dunithenail si one of the quiet subversive types ;)

Kaelie turns her mare back to the stables, and returns with a slightly heavier pack and a slightly lighter purse about a minute later. (There.. felt like I need to add that :p)

[Wolftooth ] ((Quite right, Razor. We've hardly started rolling dice yet! Though that will most certainly come next session. At least I finally got the chance to work Wolftooth a bit more into the group tonight.))

Razor snickers, her fault for biting the table leg!

[Ticker ] (...yeah, that racial bastard, ;) )

[Wolftooth ] ((Okay, that was just downright amusing, Razor. ^_^))

Linsida wonders if anyone's figured out her god(dess) yet?

Razor vanishes, asking Ticker to email the log for today to Hazykins

[Linsida ] And no cheating Razor.

Razor needs your updated stuff Lin to even cheat!

Kaelie tosses out Posidon just for kicks :p

Razor knows it has someithing to do with promisquiety

Linsida notes Kaelie's got the right era.

[Kaelie ] It wouldn't be Venus would it?? O.o

Dunithenail adjusts his halo quietly ;)

Razor dates herself 'My Venus, in blue jeans..."

[~fangorn~ ] ur al gaey shits

[Linsida ] Notes she knowen by another name.

[Razor ] Mark, i think someone needs a kick

[Ticker ] Aphra_whatever, =P

[Wolftooth ] ((What I found amusing was Wolftooth trying to use Wild Empathy on Razor, who is actually an intelligent creature in her own right. A diplomacy check would have served far better ... though I think I know what Wolfy will do next time. Dun, very nice flashy display. Good job scaring the peasants. Kaelie, way to play along. Linsida, not too bad considering today was your intro. Ticker ... ... kinda creepy, and weird, but fun?))

[Ticker ] ...whoever, =P

[Kaelie ] Same goddess either way, just depends on which mythology your following

Ticker 's a Dino, ofcourse he's creepy, he's not sposed to 'fit in' =P

[Razor ] Well Razor likes playing the normal feline..and she didnt run because of why Dun thinks she ran =)

[Linsida ] Notes one is Greek the other is Roman, slightly diffrent way of seeing the panthaon.

[Kaelie ] Umm.. Woot? ~.^

Dunithenail blinks, some humans o.O

[Linsida ] And Razor check your mail.

[Dunithenail ] intimidated by his codpiece eh?

[Wolftooth ] ((Ticker talks less than Wolftooth ... and I thought Wolfy was a man of few words.))

[Kaelie ] True, but the similarites overflow so much

[Razor ] home or work did you send it too?
