Raghnall slaps the keep around,......

[Raghnall ] who's doing post? me?

[Wolftooth ] ((Noted. Last posts armed, and ready.))

[Razor ] -Fire when ready!

[Wolftooth ] Razor raises what passes for a brow at Owains words. What can only be described as an odd look comes into her eyes. Mauling the bards instrument doesnt hold any appeal to her, but there is something else she can do and get away with..afterall...apparently she wouldnt know any better. She laps at the water in Owains hand, her tongue going so far as to once more scrape over his fingers and hand clear up to his wrist, taking not only the water but the dried blood from his skin with rough swipes. Lin listens with only half an ear to Rag and Owain, her attention more centered upon Viv and Morgen, the bard and Wolf. She notices the subtle stiffness in Wolfs movements. "Would you like for me to ease your aches again Ranger?" Her tone is almost seductive but carries not much further then him as she listens to Viv explain about where they have been and where they are going. She gladly accepts the flagon, taking a sip of the drink before offering her thanks and handing it back to continue listening.

[Wolftooth ] Wolftooth eyes the flagon warily, wiping his hand off on what remains of his pant leg before taking it and bringing it to his nose, snuffling inquisitively. At length, he throws the container back for a sizable swig, smacking his lips and wrinkling his brow as he hands the sweet liquor back to its owner, apparently not so fond of the taste. He nods briefly though, in hasty thanks of the offer. He does seem to approve of Viv's story, sounding a low noise of approval and nodding slightly. "Killing for sport is wasteful," is all he says as a reply. He still isn't quite warmed up to the idea of helping the others, but it would be fair trade ... a service for a service. And the chance for battle alongside other able combatants has its allure as well. To the overtalkative bard, he scowls slightly at the mention of his kin, a defiant look to his eye. "No orcs walk here. This is elf land." At Lin's approach, he seems to shy away from her just slightly, grumbling stubbornly.

[Wolftooth ] MorgenMorgensson sits quietly at the fire, cleaning off the back of his shield again. From the marks on it it's used as much as a cutting board as a shield. he ignores the jester completely, as long as he's no longer s disturbance, Morgen doesnt care what the man does. The conversation over the fire is listened to carefully, Morgen nodding in the right places. He refuses to fight for evil, prideful perhaps,m but he has his standards. And he's not in this for money, although a little fame wouldnt go amiss. He's hardly a wealthy man, just keeps what they need. His disgust is spat to sizzle on the fire a moment at his twin's last words. Of all the words in their language he despises "destiny" the most, with a passion difficult to belive in the noble warrior

[Wolftooth ] Verhowain frowns in thought at the rest of Raghnalls tale, "There is no need to apologize, I'm not all that good with people in such large numbers either though I fear it was something worse then a familiar... I could be wrong of course, it isn't like silver foxes are competely unheard of in these parts, but it is normally towards winter that you see them and as you said it had a sheen to it... It was more silver then white I'll be betting..." he shakes his head "No, no not good at all..." He keeps an ear turned to Viv's words while he ruminates on what could be in store for them this eve... "I'm definately sleeping in a briar thicket tonight, under one perferably... maybe there's some monkshood growing near by..." he nods at Wolf's words "It is elf land and they do prey on elves mostly..."

[Wolftooth ] Kaelie gives Raghnall a sidelong glance as she lifts a brow curiously. "Well, if you come along with us I'm sure you'll find at least a handful of magic users to speak with when we reach our destination.." her lips twitch into a crooked smile after a moment. "Although, I can't promise to make any formal introductions.. I never was much for spending time mingling within the circles maguses tended towards." The tone of her voice holds some strangely vague depricating sound to it as she makes the reference to her heritage, but she doesn't look inclined to elaborate on what she'd infered in her speech. She casts a glance in Wolf's direction for the first time since he rejoined the camp, and for a moment it looks like she is going to say something else but stops before the words form on her tounge. With a shake of her head she levels a slightly sour smile in his direction after Owain makes his lovely little comment.

[Wolftooth ] Kaelie notes that the sour smile was for Wolf

[Wolftooth ] Wolftooth huffs and replies. "Orcs would be fools to battle elves in their home ... unless desperate." His words are spoken not from experience, but from a story he once heard from his mother.

[Wolftooth ] Vivican hears the spit, the sizzle drawing her eyes a moment, her expression lost to the flame, dark and as brooding as her brother, her lips a taut line as she turns back, setting her shoulders firm. "Killing is not something to ever take lightly, or to do easily." Her voice low, harsh, hurting until she shakes it away and refinds the brightness of her smile, focusing on the warmth of companionship around the fire, another gulp fo the mead, mothers milk to the tall warrior woman. "We will help with your task, Wolftooth friend of the forest...Then, if you are all willing...The path will be open for you to aid ours, Magic, plot and the treachery of the powerhungry the threat.."

[Wolftooth ] Raghnall nods. "Just my luck of course. The Sheen it had; ...was odd and out of place its self. If it was a Familiar, then it could have been anything from a protective spell to something that kept the Displacer beast ... from ....attacking ..." He stops, a small crease in his forhead as he goes over his current chain of thoughts. He then looks back at Verh. "And as i said the whole time i was there. I see not one. Nor was attacked the whole time." He sighs Deeply. "So i was either being spied on. Or Protected. Or ...who knows what." He mutters slightly; something along the lines of stupid luck and animals. He then nods to Verh as he makes his way back over to fire. Slightly lost in thoguht over the whole matter. Not really considering if the conversation was over or not. He does manage to arch an eyebrow at Kae as he makes his way in her general dirction. "Im not all that Sure that i Want to meet up with any ...competent Mages right now."

[Wolftooth ] ((Done.))

Raghnall pokes the keep to make sure his screen didnt freeze again, -_-

[Kaelie ] "And, why is that exactly?

Kaelie smacks the damn enter key.. >.

Razor polishes off the last of the meat that Ver brought her before apparently dirfting off to sleep, sliding backwards to be all but hidden by the covering that Viv had offered Owain for her leaving Owain, Kaelie and the Mage to speak amoung themselves. Edwins a little ways away, snoring periodicly. The smaller group is not far from the larger consisting of Wolf, Morgen, Viv and Lin who gives Wolf a charming smile at his apparent uncomfortableness. She looks to the others then before rising with an inborn grace. "We will get an early start then I am sure, until the new rising then." She nods to each Viv and Morgen before purposely stroking the back of Wolfs neck rather provocatively before makign her way to her tent several yards away near the little clearings edge. (you just got another dose of healing Wolf. consider yourself fully healed cause I'm lazy and dont feel like rolling for it)

[Razor ] Morgen/Viv Wolf Owain Kaelie Rag

MorgenMorgensson finishes eating his meal, sitting quietly on the fur covered log. He's a man of few words at the best of times, especially when Vivi is doing the talking for them. he reaches back to fetch their sleeping rolls of thick warm furs, preparing fro sleep since that seems to be the way everyone's headed. Vivi nods "First light then." She sits for a while, sipping from her mead flask, waiting for Wolf's decision

Wolftooth nods to Vivican agreeably before staring back into the fire. His hand unconsciously reaches up to grasp the necklace which hangs from his neck, twisting the cord in his fingers just above where the large canine tooth hangs loosely. He would have jumped at the sudden touch of Linsida, were it not for the pleasant healing accompanied by her touch. A noise of alarm turns to a low rumble of pleasure, closing his eyes ... yet he does not smile. Indeed, his face bears a calm conflicted expression that is hard to decipher. The healing caress subsides, and his brow wrinkles, oddly pained after the last of his wounds vanish. At Vivi's words, he whips his head in her direction, that pained look gone, and nods. "I will keep watch," his gruff voice informs her before returning his gaze to the fire, still fiddling with his necklace.

Verhowain nods to everyone and remains true to his word and finds a briar bush to sleep in/under. His mutterings continue and his conversation with himself seems to revolve around this 'whatever' that's going to come. Luckily as a Druid he can indeed sleep under thickets otherwise he'd be digging a burrow instead of sleeping.

[Kaelie ] "And, why is that exactly?" Kaelie casts a curious yet warry glance over the strange magus as he approaches. She wasn't quite prepared to entirely trust him, so she had to supress the sudden urge to slowly back away from him; a part of her knowing that if he'd wished her ill it wouldn't matter how far or near he was to her, but the knowledge alone wasn't enough to dispell old instincts unfortunatley.

Raghnall glances at Kae. Looking at her for a second like he's already explained the whole thing; but then he catches himself and shakes his head. More or less reminding himself the fact that people c ant read minds. He nods slightly to Kae. Oblivious to her movement as he walks towards her. "Because. Either someone was spying on me. Possibly to steal what i was looking for when i found it. Or. Someone was protecting me from those blasted ...beast. Though im not sure about either. And i dont think ive really sparked that kind of interest with anyone in the short time ive been in this area. Nor do i think ive made an enemy so quickly."

[Razor ] Morgan/Viv Wolf Kaelie Rag (no Owain as he's snoozing)

Raghnall strikes that 'oblivious' line as he read Kae's post wrong, -_-

MorgenMorgensson shakes his head "There is no point in two keepign watch. Sleep." He's talking to Wolf, obviously he wont be going to sleep for a while. He may as well keep watch. Vivi doesnt think much of it, Morgen always takes first watch. Her bedding roll is spread out between the log her twin sits on and the fire to give her the heat of one and the protection of the other. She smiles at Wolf "You may as well sleep, He usually gets his way in the end." How well she knows her twin. He may not say much, but the wise person listens when he does, he only says what's worth saying. She's preparing for bed though, weapons close by in case of attack

Wolftooth continues to stare into the fire in deep contemplation, its glow reflected in his eyes and mirroring the painful memories that his mind wanders among. His finger slide slowly down the cord to brush up against the tooth, stopping there as the pair speaks their protests. He grumbles ... having others to watch over him is not something he's used to. And yet, after looking around at the others and seeing their departure to their beds, he can almost feel the weariness in his bones from a difficult battle urging him to his own. "Wake me next," he grudgingly agrees, hauling himself from his seat and going to his own bedding laid out on the ground near the fire to remove his boots and other gear.

[Kaelie ] "Hmm," is the only sound she makes in responce to his cryptic responce, and shrugs it off as the politics of mages. She hadn't much cared for it when she lived amongst them in the first place, so turns to seek the little comfort of her bedroll and the quiet oblivion of sleep.

Raghnall tilts his head slightly at Kae and seeing her settling down to sleep. He nods slightly and moves over to wear he droped his pack and Spear. Both of which he drags over besides the fire. He grabs whatever small and cook piece of the deer thats there and positions his pack by the fire while he eats. Once done with that and happy with where his pack is. He lays down infront of it. Muttering off something about the blasted wilderness and lack of a warm bed as he does. He lays his spear on chest and curls his hands around it as he starts to drift off to sleep.

Razor watches the others covertly from the concealment of the blankets covering. She's much better then she let on, Owains healing as well as Lins bringing her back fully to her formerself with just minor aches from the confrintation in the forest with the wolves. she watches Morgan keep watch, rising periodicly to quietly 'patrol' the small area the others sleep in...some hours later waking Wolf to take his place. Wolf in turn would wake the person he likely trusts the most, Owain..where he sleeps in the thicket. Its only then that Razor creeps from concealment, prowling the camp on quiet paws to go from one person to another, stoping longer near Edwin. Its his yelling that likely wakes the others. "What in the name of the gods is that stentch?!" He looks around and around before realizing that its him and his gear. Sniffing at himself he makes a face, wrinkling his nose up in distaste before sighting in on Owain near the fire, Razor lounging quite smugly by his feet. Edwin points an accusing finger at him.>>

[Razor ] >> "You! You made your pet do this didnt you??" he frankly quite reaks of feline urine, the changing of the winds currents makes that abundantly clear.

[Razor ] Owain Morgen Wolf Viv Kaelie Rag

[Wolftooth whispers to Razor] Ugghhhh!! Nasty! *sticks out tongue and shakes head*

[Razor whispers to Wolftooth] I told you what she was gonna do was worse then chewing on his mandilin!

Verhowain glowers at Edwin "Would you rather she chewed your feet off while you slept? Keep yer infernal mouth closed or we'll see how well you sing after the Feline lass takes a dump tween yer flapping jaws." He looks out towards the darkness cautiously, hunting for any sign or sound that might tell him if the predators of the night have decided to come and feast...

[Wolftooth whispers to Razor] ((You were right. That was ... yuck! *chuckles and shakes head* That's orc humor, that is.))

[Razor ] *Lin emerges from her tent in a rather revealing set of night clothes at the yelling. She looks around, crossbow in hand and see's no danger only the bellowing Bard. As the sun is just starting to chase away the darkness she merely shakes her head and vanishes back inside to dress for the day*

MorgenMorgensson is awake long into the night, staring into the fire between patrols of the camp. When he does finally sleep his sword is not far from him, folded into a fur he plainly keeps for just that purpose, to keep the dew off his blade. The moment Razor comes too close, his hand reaches out and closes over the hilt. That's all the movement that he makes though unless she comes closer. She's a young battlecat, and they tend to make boisterous mistakes. He's awake the moment Edwin raises his voice, sword in hand as he kneels, furs dropping to his lap to reveal scars crossing here and there over his chest, muscles rippling in the faint light of dawn. he's gone from asleep to full fight mode in moments, sword ready for the fight

Wolftooth wasn't really sleeping all that well anyway, the lightness of his sleep causing haunting memories to drift through his consciousness. So when Edwin shouts, he's upright with his axe in his hand in half a heartbeat, grunting alarmingly and glancing here and there before his eyes settle upon Edwin and the cat nestled so happily nearby. Seeing that it's the bard who caused the disturbance, and Owain is still on vigilant watch, he just growls angrily and lets his head fall back to the rolled up furs that serve as his pillow, stowing his axe safely in its resting place and pulling the covers back over him. Though he makes some odd sniffling noises as his nose catches a foul scent. He lays very still for a moment as it dawns on him ... and then breaks into quiet chuckles, an amused smile on his face. Must be orc humor.

[MorgenMorgensson ] Vivi sleep through the night, knowing her twin is close by, he usually wakes first at signs of trouble. The number of attackers who've been scared off by a naked sword wielding maniac is quite amusing to her. She rolls over to see what all the commottion is, lifting her head to look at Edwin, chuckling as she shakes her head "Maybe she's trying to tell you something? like she loves you and wants to have your babies." That even has her twin laughing. he warned Edwin yesterday that you taunted Battlecats at your own risk. She has her hand close to her swords as well, hardened warrior. Although it has to be said that she sleeps clothed, contrary to her twin

MorgenMorgensson steals Raxor's colour ;P

Kaelie lifts herself up on one elbow to stare at Edwin upon being so ruddly awakened. And, at first only lifts a brow at the strange little minstral, but as the winds change to something some what less favorable she brings a hand up to her mouth swiftly; whether to hide a sudden smirk or supress a reflexive gag is anyone's guess. "There are wose things to reek of, Talespinner," she manages to say after regaining her composure.

Wolftooth 's chuckles turns to an outright laugh at Vivican's comment, his blankets quivering with his mirth.

Raghnall wakes up ...alittle more from the smell then the yelling. He coughs slightly and sits up looking around. "What in the hel__" He seems to catch himself before finishing; and just sighs as he remembers where he is. He mutters slightly. Almost chiding himself for his actions. Though he doesnt get up. ....Actually, he lays against his pack again. His usually mutterings about Where he is and where he'd like to be. Though while he lays there, he lays his spear off to one side and traces a small symbol in the air. He eyes not quiet flashing their normal green color. He seems to glance around his head for a second; and then nods, apparently satisfied with something. He seems to be all but ignoring the group. Though not purposely. He does glance around them at the odd laugh or two. Still not all that sure whats going on, But figuring most of them traveled with each other enough that he's just missing the obvious.

[Razor ] *Edwin opens and closes his mouth several times as he apparently tries to come up with a sharp retort to Owain. But for once, thankfuly, the mouthy Bard is at a los for words. He sniffs at himself again, lifting one arm and then the other before making another face and rolling his eyes. After one scowling glance towards Razor and Owain he snatches up his pack and heads into the bushes to change. "What the hell?!?" comes shortly there after, apparently she doused his spare clothing as well though his pack, though thankfully for him, not as baddly as the garments he wore to sleep.Razor actually looks quite...smug, opening her mouth wide to yawn, her tongue snaking out with a small flip before her jaw closes and her tongue slides over her muzzle. Edwins still muttering curses when he comes back, the scent still on him but not as sharp as before but still apparent. Lin emerges dressed and begins to groom Alfred and saddle him for the days journey before dismantling her tent with quiet efficencey as Edwin finally>

[Razor ] > Develops the balls to approache the dying remains of the fire. "I hope you realize that eiter your or the Ranger will be providing me with someone to clean my things as well as a bath once we reach a town..you should have that cat trained better by now."

[Razor ] Owain Viv Wolf Kaelie Morgen Rag

Verhowain was trying to help Lin with her tent dismantling as best he could before Edwin decided to pipe up again... Stormclouds fills the druid's face as he turns to face Edwin "Bath? You want a bath? No need to wait for town you strutting poppinjay I can bloody well give you one here an now." He starts casting... 'Create Water' infact.. planning to drench Edwin with it but still considerate enough to keep from spraying the others with that spell.

MorgenMorgensson shakes her head as she gets fully dressed again in her armour. There's enough meat left over for a quick breakfast if no one minds the fact that it's a little tougher than last night and cold. Seems the Jester doesnt actually have a sense of humour, odd. She packs away her things again and starts on her brothers while he slips off a moment

Wolftooth peeks one eye open at Edwin ... and as Edwin gets his 'bath', his laughter turns even worse, rolling on his side, his rowdy guffaws nearly as loud as Edwin's originaly cry of distaste. So caught in his laughter, he finds himself unable to speak, eyes closed and mouth wrapped in a tight smile. Raucous laughter is the only answer Wolftooth gives to the smelly bard's demands as he throws his blanket aside, rising to meet the day as his laughter slowly subsides, fading into a noisy stretch, chest bare and muscular bearing scars of its own from many past trials. Amidst one last fit of chuckles, he wipes a lingering tear from the corner of his eye, shaking his head. After that, a quick bite of last night's venison and he begins packing his things.

Kaelie gets up from her bedding to change into a fresh set of clothing before slipping back into her leathers. She packs her few things back up and goes to see to her own mount as Edwin makes his pompus little statment. A slight mocking laugh bursts past her lips and she gives the little man a distainful look. "Be glad you don't smell of sweaty orc," she lets a sublte snear take hold of her lips as she glances towards Wolftooth. "From what I understand it's impossible to rid yourself of that stench."

Raghnall gags as Ed moves over to fire. After which he quickly stands up, Spear in one hand, pack in the other; And starts to move off in the opposite direction. He Almost ask Ed if his mother didnt teach him not to wet the bed at night. But, Thankfully, catches himself again and goes off muttering about his 'place' in the world and that sort of thing. He gently sets his pack down at his feet; Facing the group and looking them over. He actually Laughs at Verh casting as he watches him soak the poor bard in water; Shaking his head slightly he almost considers joining in and offer to Dry the fellow, but decides against it. the spell he'd have use along that line might be needed later on. He smirks slightly though as he looks the group over. He must say for just heading into town. Its been a rather ...interesting trip so fair. He thinks the whole thing over and it ends up leaving him with a slight smile and anyone not laughing or thats actually listening for anything out of place; Might catch him muttering again. ---

[Raghnall ] --- Though this time: "Ah, such interesting people you tend to meet out here. Nothing like the old place at all." ...He shakes his head almost wistfully afterwards and just watches the camp. Waiting till everyone is ready to move on towards town.

Raghnall thinks if he keeps this up he'll be giving the DM a heart attack, ;)

[Razor ] *Edwin is promply drenched by a deludge of water, leaving him standing there driping and looking much like a drenched rat. His perfectly groomed hair and more flamboyant clothing now plastered to his body as he starts sputtering. He's not at all carefully as he raises his arms and begins shaking them out, spraying small drops of water around the imediate area. He looks throughly disgusted but manages to bite out a tense "Thanks" To Owain, apparently the wild looking man has more balls then he thought in the firrst place. At Kaelies words though he perks up some and looks at Wolf as well "Yeah, dont you ever bathe?" he addresses Wolfs back as the ranger dresses and packs up.

MorgenMorgensson puts on some clothing at least before he steps away from the cmap to do the morning necessaries. WHen he gets back he settles down to finish the packing Vivi started, making sure they'er ready to move when everyoen else is. He eats a little of the venison, an eye on Razor, trying to work out a few things about her. He's mostly just ignoring the Jester, foolish man is of no more consequence than marsh gas, and the sooner they're rid of him the better. Find some town and inflict the Fool upon them

Wolftooth catches Kaelie's comment as he is stuffing his pillow furs in the side of his pack, pausing as his head snaps up. Thankfully for Kaelie, his face is turned away from most of the group and they do not see his bitter grimace, only made worse as the bard joins in. Creaking of leather straps in his hand is heard as his fist clenches tightly, his body otherwise still, like a coiled spring tightly pressed and waiting for release, his snarling lips quivering.

[Wolftooth ] ((Sorry, out of turn ...))

Kaelie lets out a hiss of breath as the minstral opens his foolish mouth. A black expresion swiftly settles firmly over her delicate features; he had over stepped his bounds as far as she was concerned. For, she felt it was her right alone to offer biting jabs for the half orc to endure and no one elses. "You'll do well to stay clear of me bumbler," the tone of her voice threatening dark things as she returns to her mount.

Raghnall ...didnt see the 'turns' posted on his screen,.... O_o

[Wolftooth ] ((Ahhh ... that would be because Razor has poofed.))

[MorgenMorgensson ] Exactly

[Raghnall ] that'd explain it then, =P

[Kaelie ] ((Well, I'm glad you posted out of turn wolf *g* it allowed me to make my little point :D))

[Wolftooth ] ((How could I not react to that, Kaelie? Ye gads ... *stands at attention as Razor returns*))

[Razor ] what was my last post that came up?

[MorgenMorgensson ] 06:42:48 [Razor] *Edwin is promply drenched by a deludge of water, leaving him standing there driping and looking much like a drenched rat.

[Kaelie ] ((*grins* I couldn't pass up the opportunity ^.^))

Razor blinks at the drops of water Edwin sprays outwards, some drops landing on her thick coat, not that she cares. She just continues to lounge there near the remains of the fire, looking a time or two at Viv in hopes she'll toss a piece of lefter over meat in her direction. Lin works with Owain, pausing at the casting of the spell. She smiles at him. "To bad you cant warm that before hand." She winks at him, knowing that its likely the water was cold as she carries the dismantled tent towards Alfred to tie it and the bedding to the back of his ornate saddle.

[Razor ] now you can all post . Wolf Owain Kaelie Morgan Rag Viv

Wolftooth softens only marginally, as it seems the bard has unknowing brought the insults to a halt. Or so he hopes. He at last releases the strap of his pack from his constricting fist, blinking as he sees the stretch marks he caused. Now that he is somewhat calmer, he calls back behind him, stuffing the furs in a side pocket of his pack. "If ever I need a bath, I will ask Verhowain." He glances to the druid as a smug smile plays over his lips, and an appreciative twinkle. "He gives good baths." Wolftooth hefts his ready pack over his shoulders, his fresh set of clothing, armor, and weapons all in place. He deliberately walks past Edwin, raising a hand and bringing it down upon his shoulder twice rather harshly. Squish squish.

[Razor whispers to Wolftooth] was that the post you did before or no?

Verhowain snorts at Edwin's thanks and returns to helping Lin, grinning at her comment "I'd rather have made it all smell like cat pee, it'd serve the peacock right.." he glances at Edwin "I wonder if he'll draw any males, spraying like that be the way Females cats attract the attention of a male..." He grinned at Wolf nodding. After which he went over to Razor and kneels down to check her wounds and basic state though considering she wizzed on Edwin he'd pretty much suspect she's in the pink once more.

Razor wants a roll there Wolf. d20 please

[Wolftooth whispers to Razor] ((THis was my earlier post ...)) Wolftooth catches Kaelie's comment as he is stuffing his pillow furs in the side of his pack, pausing as his head snaps up.

Kaelie buckles on her sword belt and settles her rapier into place after mounting her mare. She casts another very dark look in Edwin's direction before retaining a disintrested expression. She pats the mares neck with the faintest trace of affection, and waits for the others to finish readying themselves.

[Wolftooth whispers to Razor] ((Adding melee bonus of +9, I assume? THough that still doesn't hit much ...))

[Razor ] *Edwins nearly felled by the 'pats' on his shoulder by Wolf. There will definately be a nice half-orc hand print on his flesh for a few days in the form of a bruise. Edwin grimaces and rubs at the wet and newly abused area. "Ahhh...yeah" Is all he can manage.

[Razor whispers to Wolftooth] was a strength check =P

[Wolftooth whispers to Razor] ((Ahh. *grins mischievously* Yay.))

MorgenMorgensson is ready, just waiting for everyone else to get themselves in order. He looks over at kaelie a moment, his brow furrowed a little "Those are your ancestor's hatreds, you know. My culture believes heavily in it's Ancestors, as do I, but I dont think they necessarily were wise in all things." Just a thought. Elves and Orcs dont mix, and he sees no real reason for it, specially not here. They're both far from their cultures, there's no reason for that littel fued to continue between two indivuduals. he doesnt feed Razor, still doesnt quite trust her. He's happier with her at a pace away where he can keep an eye on her and her ytouthful exhuberance

Raghnall watches the group still. The smiles he had before almost gone as he rolls his eyes over the whole matter now developing. He sighs slightly and picks up his pack, heading back towards whats left of the fire and breakfast. Though alittle bit more of a sizable piece, considering what he took last time. He stands close to where he slept, pack at his feet, Spear at his side, and dagger in hand as he cuts bite size bits of meat off the piece he took and eats them while waiting for everyone to get ready to head out. All too happy to be heading for town, though not showing it much.

[MorgenMorgensson ] Vivi turns to look at her twin before nodding. he's right. She does feed Razor, seemingly without care for herself, but she feeds with her left hand, her right close by, little strips of meat that werent cooked in the end, drier now than the cat would probably like, but filling all the same. A chuckle is spared for Edwin, foolish little man. He's so far out of his league here it's amusing, like a growing child wielding his father's sword and wearing a helmet many sizes too large for him

Razor goes so far as to purr at Owain checking her over before rising and stretching fully before snatching carefuly the scraps that Viv offers up to her. Lin finishes readying Alfred, mounting up and moving just a little ways back towards the road they are traveling on. Razor herself moves to her things, ducking her head to slide it under the unique saddlebags and 'wiggling' until they are inplace over her shoulders, ready when they are to move out. Edwin gathers the rest of his things, making squish squish noises when he walks. - the rest of you i imagine are ready to move out..moving down the road towards the next town. Its just under a days walk, putting you there just as dusk begins to settle over the land. Its a moderate sized pllace, having more then one inn/tavern ..several private dwellings and more then its fare share of gaming establishments and just a church or two. The later Lin excuses herself to go to, riding Alfred down the street at a slow clip.

[Razor ] Wolf Rag Morgen Kaelie Owain Viv

Wolftooth takes a piece or two of meat for himself from the spit, gnawing on it hungrily and watching as Vivi feeds Razor without comment, but by the look on his face he approves. "The road is long," he grunts to the others. "We can eat as we walk." Apparently he's impatient to set out, and why not? The sooner he's out of elven lands, the better. He checks over Razor's pack once she wriggles into it, making sure the straps are secure before giving her a brisk and encouraging pat on the rump ... more mindful of his muscle this time. Later, once they reach the town, he raises an eyebrow at all the buildings, seeming none-too-impressed by all the sights, though he wonders if maybe there's a coin or two to be made here. Likely their group will be just passing through, however. He simply looks back to the others and awaits their thoughts.

[Razor ] *There are other establishments as well..what apparently is a pawnshop/money changer-lender, what passes for a general store, a smithy and apparently an herbalist. The streets are only minimally crowded, people either going home or going out for the night. More then one unsavory looking character amoung them or leaning against walls near alleyways waiting for someone to rob

Raghnall shoulder his pack and moves out. Not much for conversation along the way unless directly talked to on a given matter. He glances over the town once they get to, muttering in his own little way, and seeming to look over the Inn for one on the higher end of things. Though he also takes note of any buildings of interest or shops that might have magical wares. He stops and sighs slightly before glancing over the group. He smiles though. "Well, i must say its been an interesting trip traveling with you all. I Do thank you for letting me join you on the trip into town here. It was memorable to say the least; But now i must be off. Have a wizard or two to find and a certain old man to talk to."

[Razor ] *Edwins dry not atleast, the stench of him they 've either gotten use to or he aired out during the walk. He heads instantly at a near trot towards the closest inn at nearly a trot, his mandilin bouncing against his back in his eagerness.

MorgenMorgensson walks with the others, tall and proud. He doesnt look overly impressed with the town though, filled with brigands and cutthroats. He's not at all sad to see the back of the Jester, good riddance to him. He makes no comment on the Little weasel man leaving either, just waiting to see where they go from here

[Razor ] *theres a scattering of races, though most are human with a few elves thrown in and an odd group of dwarves moving together apearing to be heading out with a cart load of wares with them pulled by a mule. The animal shys some as they pass them, catching the scent of Razor as she more or less half hides beneath Owains robes.

Kaelie eyes the inns speculatively as they enter the town. She hoped to bathe thoroughly and perhaps see what gossip a little drink and coin could buy her, but the combination was not likely to be found together. However, a quirkly little smile colors her lips as she spots some of the more unsavory characters mingling amongst the scattered crowd of locals; the sight of them alone made her feel just that much more comfortable entering the town until an uneasy thought strikes her. I wonder how long it'll be before we run in with someone who knows where I'm really from... She shakes off the thought and turns her mount away from the Inn Edwin bolted too. "I assume we're stoping here for the night then?"

Verhowain 's helps Razor with her packs, staying up with the rest of the group as best as he can, though always casting a glance over his shoulder at their backtrail. Yes he's paranoid but that doesn't mean something isn't following them... Later when town is reached he stands there at the edge of it. This place was bigger then any town he's been in in ages.. what was actually only minimal crowding on the streets looked like a riotous throng to him. He felt completely out of place here, ill at ease and far more inclined to head back to the forest. He stood close to Razor, his leg against her side. He wasn't comfortable here.

[Razor ] *Edwins at that moment tossed out the doors of the inn he entered amist great guff's of laughter from inside that drift down the streed before the doors close again on the noise, muting it. Edwin dusts himself off after a moment, rising and moving down the road with a small limp towards the more lucrative establishment.

MorgenMorgensson walks with the others, silent for the most part, although she does try to get a conversation started once or twice along the way. She stands next her twin, probably to stop him going after a few of those unsavoury characters, he has a tendency to think with his sword and fists sometimes. She nods "So it would appear, Are we getting a communal room or just meeting in the morning again?" Communal would be cheaper, but if it's not wanted she's nto going to push

[MorgenMorgensson ] brb, bloody finger again

Raghnall notes, that ICly he hasnt been asked to join up with the group outside of head to town here, jic you guys forgot, ;)

[Razor ] *Out of the corner of Wolf's eye a vaguely familar symbol appears, on the small sheild slung over an elvin shoulder. The markings are identical to that that was carried by the elvin lady's enterauge back where they started.

[Razor ] Wolf Owain Rag Kaelie Morgen/Viv

[Razor ] this be last posts peoples

Razor has to go cut hair in an hour o.O

Wolftooth nods in agreement, eyeing the thugs in the alley with mild caution, and the inn which Edwin just got thrown out of with rising interest. "It's late," he agrees. "Rest tonight. Tomorrow, shopping." And in truth, those are the only two things that towns have any meaning for in Wolftooth's eyes. He makes no comment about a communal room, though does not appear interested in such - he would rather have his privacy. A glance is given back to Owain, knowing his discomfort of civilization would probably lead him to sleep outside. He starts to walk away when something catches his eye amidst the crowd ... the symbol of the house of Ranil clearly displayed upon a shining shield. He grumbles, yet turns his course to intercept the elf at a mild pace - that was in fact their reason for being here, may as well get it overwith.

[Razor whispers to Wolftooth] i have this overwhelming urge to have the guy who runs the general store to like men and make passes as eitehr wolf or Morgen =P

[Wolftooth whispers to Razor] ((I sense ... a dead shopkeeper ... and a swift departure. ~_0))

Verhowain looked at the inn that tossed Edwin "Mayhap they have a stables I can sleep in.... " He looks at Viv "My pardons milady but I'm skittish enough about sleeping in stables let alone a room with a floor that isn't dirt... I'll be choosing a stables for the night... In the same inn perhaps, considering that one tossed the peacock out on his tailside it might be a place with intelligent folk with a good judge of character..."

Raghnall shrugs over the fact no remarks where made about his announced departure. Not that he expected a great deal. He just nods slightly to the group and makes his way towards the finder side of the town. Muttering to himself over incorrect maps and lousy assistants. He goes on about trying to find a decent wizard first before anything else. ...Blasted trip out into woods for ...Nothing. He sighs slightly as he goes shaking his head. Last time he does that without having a good talking to with a couple of choice people.

Raghnall grumbles, and makes that "finer" -_-

[Wolftooth whispers to Razor] ((We were supposed to deliver a message, right? To Syldah Ranil's parents?))

Kaelie purses her lips in thought over the idea of a communal room, but her need for privacy over ruled her inclination to be frugal with her money. After all, who knows when she'll need to sneak in and out of the inn for something a little less than legal. "I think I'm do for a personal room this stop," she smiles vaguely as she speaks to Vivi, but her gaze follows Wolf's as he heads straight towards the elf. She shrugs slightly and turns her mare back in the direction of the first inn, for like everyone else she'd come to the conculsion that a place that would toss the bard out would be an establishment worth considering.

[Wolftooth ] ((Wow, poor Edwin ... I almost feel sorry for the guy after all this roleplay abuse. Almost. ~_0))

[Razor whispers to Wolftooth] her clan that she was healed and headed back home

MorgenMorgensson seems quite happy to go with the consensus opinion. Any place that would throw out that foolish jester cant be that bad a place. He studies it closely though before moving closer to it, sizing it up. Some places appear good and safe and are little more than dens of evil. Cautious to the last, the huge warrior. Vivi nods "We meet in the morning then." No specified time or place, it happens when it happens. In the meantime there's a chance for some drinking and merriment to be had
