Verhowain tests tomake sure he's here first.

[Razor ] We're taking it from where everyone is across the casim Wolf?

Ticker hops off Kae's shoulder and get into place, *Sigh*

[Wolftooth ] ((I didn't think last posts would be necessary ... just wanted to skip through the rest of the cave, really. Unless anyone objects?))

[Razor ] -your the dm Wolf, your choice really

Wolftooth has decided, then. We are out of the cave! *nods confidently*

Kaelie gives Wolf a supportive thumbs up?

[Wolftooth ] ((Here comes an area description, then here we go! Let's do ... Wolf, Tick, Kae, Lins, Raz, Ver for posting order.))

[Ticker ] MSH jsut logged on AIM,

[Wolftooth ] As you leave the cave passage, you immediately find yourself in a lush and luxurious forest, equal in magnificence to anything you may have heard from the villagers. A thick canopy of trees rests far overhead, with faint beams of sunlight shining down through the hazy mist here and there to light your surroundings. The only thing to break up the space around you are the stout trunks of trees spaced roughly ten to twenty feet apart. The ground here is hidden not just by a low-lying layer of fog, but by a lush green carpet of grass, ferns, flowers, and various other leafy green plants. One particular plant nearby seems slightly unusual, having a base of smaller, smoothly surfaced leaves sprouting out from a central point, with one of the leaves being much larger than the rest, larger even than a paladin's shield, and leaning over haphazardly.

[Wolftooth ] No trail leads any further from this point onward, as indeed the plants and ground-fog make it difficult to see your own feet as you walk through this hallowed place. The sounds of various woodland creatures can be heard in the distance, some closer than others, though all one ever manages to glimpse of the local wildlife are small, shadowy shapes that flit or bound away just as quickly as they are spotted, as if spooked by the presence of the forest's intruders. You have the distinct feeling that your every move is being watched.

Wolftooth steps out from the cave, grunting and bringing up a hand to shield his eyes from the glare peeking down through the trees above. He quickly moves to one side to allow the others to pass, standing and looking about. Dunithenail comes out right on Wolftooth's tail, striding valiantly out and into the trees ... only to stop abruptly as he realizes he has no idea where he's going, turning back to look at Wolftooth and the others as they exit one by one.

Ticker chitters happly when hes out of the cave. He scurries past Wolf and Dun and heads straight for the nearest tree, ...which he circles a few times, chiring slightly. Hw stays on the ground though, waiting for the group to make up thier mind which way they want to head off. After about the third or some time around the tree he curls up at the base, on the side nearest to hte group, ....sniffs the air a few times, and then huffs as he lays his head down and waits.

Kaelie supreses the urge to grimace at sudden feeling of being watched as she exits the cave. She may have been raised in a wooded haven, but that doesn't mean this place's presence couldn't make her skin crawl. With an internal shrug she takes the time to give the place a cursory looking over, while stepping out of the way of those following her.

Linsida shakes her head alittle as she sighs, blinking her eyes from the harsh light that her eyes aren't used to just yes. She gently tugs on Alfreds reins and strokes his neck softly she looks around the others. "So which way are we going?"

[Wolftooth ] ((Halleluyah. *relaxes and hands Dun's character back to him*))

[Razor ] -my screens all screwed up...bbs

[Wolftooth ] ((Let's go ahead and skip Razor this time around ... perhaps she's slightly shy of the daylight. Let's go ... Wolf Dun Tick Raz Lins Kae Ver))

Wolftooth looks all about the woods nearby, glancing from tree to tree and sniffing the air lightly. "I know nothing further," comes his short, deep voiced reply. He continues to gaze about, as if he himself is searching for some clue to use as a direction ...

Razor moves out after the others, keeping her distance from Dun in the process which likely has her rubbing against others to remain so. She blends almost into the mist, the faint spots on her coat adding to the illusion that she's not really substantial.

[Razor ] -Kes emerges, breathing a sigh of releif to be outside the caverns, the strain she was feeling visably lifting.

Ticker 's head pops up everynow and then to watch the group, ...he lets out the odd chirp everynow and then, ...but, otherwise, he just stays right where he is, ...though if he gets the chance, he moves to the nearest patch of sunlight and lays out in it, otherwise, he waits, ....he's not complaining about not going anywhere, Thats for sure.

Ticker also needs to red his post before he hits enter so he Dont Doulbe type stuff, BAH, -_-

Ticker grumbles, *read & *double,

[Razor ] -heads up to others, you can start writing your post before your turn then just add pertenant information from posts before yours before putting them up. makes things go quicker as well w/less wait between posts.

[Wolftooth ] ((*nods to Razor* it's what I usually do. Go ahead if you're ready, Dun. Then Raz, Lins, Kae, and Ver please.))

[Ticker ] (((*watchs Dun play with the doors on AIM O_o*)))

Dunithenail gives fair warnign that he's in a foul mood rihght now

[Wolftooth ] ((Dun, I'll let you skip this round if you don't feel ready ...))

Dunithenail is awake already Wolftooth

Dunithenail needs to know where we got to please :)

[Razor ] -the dice are against us today!

Razor wonders if she should go?

Dunithenail notes Hazy is having a bit of a family crisis and wont be able to make it this morning

Wolftooth knows of Hazy's troubles and understands completely.

Dunithenail walks at the head of the group again, as his his right. The sword still blazes light into this dark place and he doesnt seem overly worried at being weatched. He's used to it, people stare at him all the time. Why should he care of monsters do it too?

[Wolftooth ] ((A moment, I've managed to confuse Dun's player ... trying to explain.))

Razor lifts her head up some, trying to get her muzzle above the cloaking mist that coats the ground. She remembers the villagers talking about a pool and that is what they should be looking for. She breathes in deeply trying to pick up the scent of water out of the air beneath that of the mist and creatures and abundance of foliage. Most of the creatures she's smelled before, rabbits and foxes and the like. She's not distracted by them much as she nearly gorged herself on the fallen inside the cavern, filling her belly comfortable even if she did gross the others out.

[Razor ] -Kesyn scans the area as much as she's able, looking at Dun's back as he starts forward with no clue just where he's headed.

Linsida slowly mounts Alfred as she looks into the mist, not likeing the feeling the place is giveing her. "So are we supposed to guess which way we're supposed to go then?" as she looks at the others in the group.

Kaelie sighs as she feels standing around staring at the foilage isn't doing them much good. She moves away from the general party just a little ways and calls out the most polite greeting she can think of in Sylvan. Quietly hoping this wood would have something of a sylvan nature living in it, but hoping even more that it would be more inclined to be helpful than mischievious. Although a part of her wouldn't mind unleashing the mischief of brownies on the lot of them, but she knows better than to give into something that would be more trouble than its worth.

Verhowain has been drawn by the distrubance, the forest animals as accurate as a flock of geese, He heads in the direction of the disturbance cautiously, his cudgle at the ready. The forest lets him pass easily enough and he leaves no trail, some training as a druid actually came in handy for him. He is indeed cautious as he approaches concerned and somewhat fearful. The sound of Sylvan however banishes much of his fear. He now walks with more intent on actually getting there rather then sneaking around cautiously. He calls back a gretting in Sylvan on the off chance they've trigger happy bowmen, whoever they are.

[Verhowain ] greeting too.

Wolftooth watches the lizard creature crawl over to some sunlight and stretch out, grunting amusedly before looking to the others briefly. He has already told the others that he doesn't know which way to go now, so has no answers to give any of them. He does, however, brings his eyes down to the ground to see what they will tell him, sweeping over the grassy surface for anything that may catch his eye. Eventually he does, bending over to examine a few blades of grass more closely. "Another passed here. Small, booted feet." His eyes raise as Kaelie calls out into the woods ... and raise even more as it is answered! He quickly comes to his feet and glances in the direction of the caller.

[Wolftooth ] ((Dun Tick Lins Kae Raz Ver))

Dunithenail stops a little way from the entrance to the tunnel, to let everyone adjust and come up with a decision on exactly where they're headed. He mostly just goes by the divine will of the Great Ortesk, known o the rest of teh world as Instinct. Of course he always comes up with some sort of valid excuse if it's completely incorrect, some lesson the Great Ortesk wishes to teach him. He looks around carefully at the varied calling. The forest is probably too thick to see any sign of the meteor, but you never know

Ticker just chirps and lays where he is. Call or not. He's tired and now warm, and pretty much happy as he can b right now. Besides the call sounded Elvish to him and unless this is some sacred forest he douts elves would attack. Muchless go after something as harmless as him, given the surroundings. He just chitters slightly and lays where he is. Warm, Happy and ....bored to hell. He chirps and rolls over, shaknig himself off alittle before turning and heading the way the call came from, trying to see who and what is coming.

Linsida blinks as Kaelie's answered, and calls out in Sylvian, ~Greeting and Saluations, We are in a little help finding our way.~ as she looks around the area she heard the voice come from and waits an answer.

Kaelie tries not to grin too broadly at the immediate reply as she casts a glance back in the group's direction; she honestly wasn't expecting to be answered quite so promptly. She gives a little shrug and lets Linsida take up the thread of conversation.

Razor 's low menicing growl accompanys her sinking down below the level of the mist, becoming obscured to a point but likely not fully. Adjatation laces the sounds she makes, bringing Kesyn closer to where she last saw the feline. When she doesnt encounter her she straightens her clothing, going about looking her best for who's approaching..going so far as to smooth her wings over with the tips of her fingers. Razor mean while is prowling, moving to the left of the answering voice.

Verhowain steps from the forest, still not much more visible due to the mist and his dun brown-grey robe. Six feet tall and of moderate build his shaggy black hair only enforces the 'wildman' look his mis-matched eyes (one dark brown/black the other ice blue-white) begins. He smiles hoping his cudgel looks more like a walking stick then a weapon, "Greetings and salutations" He opens in old style common "What brings this august assemblage to the Greenhorn?" He tries his best to bow like he remember from his youth "Praythee, Pardon My name is Verhowain..."

Wolftooth brings a hand to his battleaxe haft nervously, peering through the woods to try and catch sight of the approaching stranger, having not understood a word of the others' speech and not really being one for unexpected surprises. Hearing Razor growl, he narrows his eyes and also keeps an eye on the beast as she stalks about in the mists. And then through the mists appears a man of the wilds, bringing Wolftooth's attention squarely on the newcomer now. Wild as he may look, his speech is entirely too flowery for Wolftooth's tastes. Glad to hear the conversation turn back to a language he knows, he gladly responds. "We seek the elixir," he tells Verhowain plainly, eye judging him with respect.

[Wolftooth ] ((Dun Kae Lins Tick Raz Ver))

Dunithenail turns on his heel to regard Verhowain slowly, looking him up and down. His blazing sword is still in hand and his shield is still on his other arm, Black armour a little scratched up at the back, revealing the steel under the coating. The angelic disdain of his helmet speaks with a voice lent timbre by it "We quest for the elixir." He doesnt add that they need a little direction. if it comes to it he will pray and ask for direction from on high

Kaelie eyes the wildman openly, and seriously resists the urge to slip into elven highspeach in responce to the too formal common. "A great lady of the elven people is ill, and we've volunteered to bring her what we've been told would cure her." She smiles crookedly and offers up a tiny half shrug; pointedly leaves out the other option fetching the elixir could hold in store for them. An option she hasn't completely ruled out.

Dunithenail does Righteous Indignation type things to Razor's connection

Linsida quickly dismounts and smiles over to Verhowain, giveing a polite bow back. "I a'm Lindsida, priestess of Aphrodite," as nods to the others words. "We were sent to get this elixir, the only knowen cure to the illness that has befallen the majestic leader. I beseech you to help us find the way to it." as blinks softly at him.

Ticker chirps slightly as he listens to Verh, ...he tilts his head to the side slightly and then rolls his eyes and chitters as he goes back over to his spot in the sun. He stops though at Wolf just up and and telling the guy what they're after. He sighs and almost snaps the air in Wolf's direction, untill Dun, Kae, and Lin all tell Veh why they're here. He just Blinks and looks around the group, shaking his head slowly. He Sighs deeply and just heads back over to where he was laying down in the sun, muttering the whole way.

Razor continues to slink through the mist, visable periodcily as she apparently is tracking something she picked up and it has little or nothing to do with the new arrival. Her tail flicks occassinaly over the mist line, like a black beacon as she quarters the area looking for more of the scent that bothers her.

[Razor ] -Kesyn gives Ver a smile of greeting as well. "You appear to know your way around this area. We're looking for a pool or a lake or such that contains the exlier my companions spoke of."

Verhowain looks to Wolftooth "Elixir you say? Then you've come because of the sign... Someone is in need?" He glances over the rest of the party, his caution returning somewhat. Dunithenail concerns him, or at least his sword does, he hopes it doesn't set the woods ablaze. Kaelie's words bring a look of concern to his otherwise rugged face "The Elves have always been forest friends... " He bows his head to Linsida "And a priestess of such a goddess has always found friends within the forest. I too have come seeking Kippahla's hidden glade yet not for so dire a reason. I see only boon and weal for the wood in aiding you. I will do my best to guide you..." He really hasn't paid Ticker all that much attention though such a lizard is an odd sight to see herein.

Wolftooth has his attention divided in two places, nothing that Razor seems to have gotten hold of something with those powerful feline scents. Were it not for her growl earlier, he would simply pass it off as feline curiousity. He keeps an ear in the other conversation of the elixir as well, happy to hear that another guide so obviously knowledgable of the ways of the wood has been found to take his place. For now, he nods gratefully to the stranger before slowly walking off in Razor's direction, hoping to spot what it is that she is after. With all the mist covering the ground, he doesn't catch much ...

[Wolftooth ] ((Dun Kae Lins Ver Tick Raz))

Dunithenail 's sword just gives off a blinding white holy light. It doesnt give off heat at all, something he's come to regret on more than one ocassion. He just stands there like a statue until something concrete is decided upon. He desnt have anything better to do right now than this quest to save a Lady and gain some advantages for his order in her lands

Kaelie 's eyes follow after Wolf as he starts in after the great black menace. She wasn't entirely sure she wanted to know what sort of trouble they were going to get them in, but she pushed the thought aside and returned her gaze to Verhowain. "Lead the way and we're bound to follow," she lets another smile touch her lips as she shrugs yet again. "I'm Kaelie, by the way."

Linsida smiles at Verhowain, "Thank you kind sir for you help," as sighs relieved and pats Alfred her horse softly on the neck, while looking around the forest again and smiles. "Peaceful here, but as Kaelie says lead, for I do not know how much time is left for the Lady."

Verhowain glances after Wolftooth, presuming the feline is his companion "While I don't know the exact location of the glade I have been following the Den'felis Locii " He indicates the plants with the large drooping leaf. "They are oft-times markers of important trails placed by druids of yore..." He smiles at Kaelie "T'was you that spoke in Sylvan first then the Priestss, yes? I am Verhowain, most call me Owain." He favors Linsida witha smile and turns to follow the path provided by the plants. "We will arrive as quickly as the path allows M'lady."

Ticker Sighs when he gets back to his 'spot' and curls up again, muttering all the while, ...the odd chirp or so can be heard, but nothing understandable. He just lays there in the sun. Nothing much he can do about the goings on, though slightly upset over the whole matter. He shakes his head and grumbles slightly, his mood having changed alot by now. Though the mutterings and grumblings are heard less and less while he lays there sunning himself. His eys half-open even. ....Nice forest. Nice place to be. Wrong time.

Razor continues to move back and forth, loosing and pickingup the trail off and on. Wolfs approach has her head coming up in an instant, a growl starting with an impressive show of teeth as her lip curls up, but its quickly silenced as she realizes its him. She goes back to searching for a print from the halfling who passed, something to show him so she doesnt need to actually 'tell' him. Kesyn moves forward to incline her head to Ver. "I am Kesyn (Hazy's character). You know much about plants and such?"

Wolftooth catches sight of one such print, bending low to examine it closer, eyes furrowing as he can't seem to make out what it means exactly. "Halfling tracks," is all he mutters, mosly to Razor as he looks curiously at the cat, then back to the others as they begin to leave in a direction which, curiously, follows the halfling's trail.

[Wolftooth ] ((Dun Ver Lins Tick Kae Raz))

Dunithenail doesnt do a whole lot, just standing there till everyone's ready to move on again and they've decided where they're going

Verhowain smiles and nods to Kesyn "That I do M'lady, Tindel taught me well of the plants and their uses when I was but a boy." He keeps to the path indicated by the plants as well as keeping his eyes open for any sign of problems ahead, such as predators or worse interlopers that might mean the woods harm. He sets a good walking pace, using his cudgel like the walking stick he hope they all think it is. His ears perk up at Wolftooth's mutter "Halfling? Is there another in your party that has been seperated?"

Linsida follows softly moveing along watching the others take to the trail and she leads Alfred along, not wanting to offend Verhowain too soon but does mount him in the end as she becomes short of breath. "Halfing, Hmmmm wasn't he there that day also? Maybe not..." as she mostly mumbles to herself.

Ticker grumles after awhile and gets up. He glances at everyone heading off and takes a few quick sniffs of the air. He signs and follows Razor's trail over the rest. Atleast it will give him something to do. He scurries along and trys to keep as quite as possable as he comes up behind Raz and Wolf. Chirping ever so softly to let them know he's there.

Razor stays to the left of the group traveling along the path marked that Ver is leading them down. Every so often she crosses before them to the other side only to return back to their left again. Her adjatation is clear by the way she holds her tail, low to the ground but with the tip twitching. Kesyn looks towards Razor then back at Ver. "Actually no. Apparently there was an unscrupulous gentlemen offering a substantial reward for the exlixar. A female halfling visited him to take him up on his offer. Most likely she's a head of us somewhere..." She sounds just a tad uncertain and since she's been with the group, just how does she know about the halfling meeting?

Razor appologizes, new keyboard o.O

Kaelie nods slightly in responce to Owain's question, and she doesn't bother to hide the faint smile that tugged at her lips; she liked being recognized for the small things. She follows along with the rest, and keeps quiet as the conversation turns to plantlife. But the mentioning of the halfling raises a brow, not to mention Kesyn's little blurb on the halfling.

Wolftooth glances back to Verhowain and shakes his head. "No." The only thing remotely halfling sized is Ticker, who seems to be following him and the cat at the moment. Not really knowing what such a trail could be about, he shrugs and seems content to follow the others being led by the woodsman Owain. At least until Kesyn mentions possible competition. He doesn't care how Kesyn acquired such knowledge, really. Talk can get around easily enough in small towns. "We should hurry. The halfling's trail is old. She will have reached the pool by now."

[Wolftooth ] The plants that Verhowain follows do indeed seem to indicate a trail of some kind, as the largest leaf on the plant seems to point from one plant to the next in a sort of connect-the-dots fashion. Eventually, the patient gurgle of a stream can be heard just ahead ...

[Wolftooth ] At last, your passage through the forest seems to meet up with a small creek trailing lazily through the wood. A guiding leaf-plant points upstream, likely towards the stream's source.

[Wolftooth ] ((Ick, that wasn't done well. Ummm ... how about Ver Dun Lins Kae Tick Raz?))

Verhowain frowns at Kesyn's words, "This is ill-news... I hope there is to be no bloodshed at the glade, it would displease the Unicorn greatly." He looks at the rest of the party and steps up the pace just a bit more. Upon reaching the brook he smiles and looks upstream. "We will make up time good forester.." He response to Wolftooth and begins moving up the babbling run.

Linsida looks down at Kesyn's words and starts to frown. "I do not like this turn of events, why would someone offer a reward and wait to tell about it untill now." as her frown turns into a scowl and looks forward to the end of the path that she can see. "I hope we can convice her if she already has it to give it up." She sighs and pushes Alfred along.

Dunithenail lowers his sword slightly. Oh well, he wasnt sure they were actualy foloowing him anyway. It's a small matter. If they intend for him to run though, that halfling will have a long tim to prepare. It's impossible to move quietly while running in armour, and he's not even trying. Plates flap down on plates with loud clanging noises as his heavy footfalls thud through the forest. He doesnt do stealthy, and wioth that blazing light in front of him, this isnt going to be a sneak attack

[Wolftooth ] ((I'm posting after Kae ... for Ticker and Razor's benefits.))

[Kaelie ] " Unicorn ?," she couldn't help how she emphasise the word. She wasn't exactly a spring maiden, but there was still something enticing about the possibity of seeing one. Although, a part of her worried it would recognize the touch of darkness her grandparent left to her. It wouldn't do to get herself impailed because she was closely related to a tiefling.

Wolftooth follows after Owain at a quickened pace, disregarding the noisy clanking of the armored knight and still glancing down to the earth from time to time to see if he can spot those halfling sized bootprints, and indeed he can. They follow Owain's path almost exactly. The curious thing that Wolftooth notices after a moment's thought, and Razor and Ticker may as well, is that the halfling's trail leads upstream, but there is no set of return footprints.

[Kaelie ] ((Sorry if I made anyone wait, I had to wait for my computer to reconect.. -_-))

Razor ends up closer to the group once Dun lowers his mightly light a bit, she clearly doesnt like the thing. She remains close to the bank as they travel along, still searching out any scent of the halfling that came before them. Kesyn keeps her robes up off the dew as much as she can as she moves along with the group. "If she came for the reward that was offered, likely nothing but coin would perswade her to give it up." She 's more at ease out here in the open, able to periodcily stetch her wings though she shows no sign of being willing to fly ahead and scout out the terain and the pool they are searching for. She keeps sight of Razor though, Ver's statement about deflying the forest with blood shed formost in her mind. The damn cats liable to go after the Unicorn for all she knows. Razor ventures further afield time and again once its clear the prints go one way and not back again, perhaps the halfling went back a different route.

Razor thinks on prying up her return key..evil thing.

Ticker actually hasnt made a sound since his last little chirp. He just follows Raz and Wolf, though everyonce ina while he slows to listen to the conversation going on in the group. He does ponder over the whole Halfling thing though. Wondering how easy it would be to get it to part with what they came for. Without ruining it. He sighs slightly and looks at the stream when they get to it, glancing up and down before getting ready to follow the group up the thing. He smirks slightly and gives Kae a quick glance, considering their last real water adventure. He shakes his head slightly. Atleast they wont have to cross the thing this time.

[Wolftooth ] Following the creek upstream, the forest and fog eventually part way to reveal a small glade, free of trees and open to the cloudy sky. This glade is well decorated with flowers of all kinds, and tall shrubs, bearing the beauty of a king's courtyard without impinging upon the natural look of the wild. At the center of the glade rests the source of the tiny creek, a natural spring which feeds into a wide, shallow pool. Near the surface of this pool, an elderly man sits staring into the water in contemplation. ((Ver Dun Lins Kae Tick Raz))

[Wolftooth ] He is hidden under a rough sort of brownish cloak covered with leaves of the forest, the leaves seeming to be a natural part of his garment. Wispy white hair pokes out from underneath the hood like clouds, and a long white beard trailing into his lap like falling water. His eyes seem to hold immense depth, perhaps from years of wisdom. To put it simply, he is old, and not terribly impressive to look at.

Verhowain bounds from moss-covered rock to slick water-rimed stone with an ease only a druid could manage, tugging the hem of his robe up revealing his relatively pail ankles to keep it from getting wet "Such a limited life, one measured by coin..." He comments softly but speaks up for Kaelie "Aye a Unicorn, Kippahla by name... tis the horn that imbues the water of the glade afterall with its healing properties" Upon seeing the elderly gentleman he pauses drops the hem of his robe and bows presuming this to be the druid that planted the plants he speaks to him in Druidic just to be sure.

Dunithenail stamps along. Probably he's make less noise falling off a cliff, but it'd be difficult. he cares about only one thing right now. Getting the elixir back and the exact terms were bloodshed., if he sheds no actual blood doing it, then all is well. His order is tolerant of other religions, choosing to regard it as competition rather than heretics to be burnt at teh stake. It's an awful waste fo wood and effort

Linsida slows to a stop on the back of Alfred. She dismounts and looks about the glade and smiles. "Beautifual, I don't think I will ever find something so wonderful ever again, nor smelling the way it does." She looks to others for a moment wondering where we need to go.

Kaelie keeps clear of the stream as they approach the glade. She wasn't particularly in the mood for another life threatening swim anytime soon. She nods to Owain thoughtfully; the information he had offered was insightful. She hesitates as she spots the elderly man, and waits for the other proverbial boot to drop.

Ticker follows the group till they run into the old man. He looks at him and tilts his head a little and shrugs. Nothing big to him. He does take a long look around though. There was that Halfling out there somewhere. He stops behind Raz if she bothers to and doesnt make a move other then trying to watch out for anyone other then the group nearby.

Razor continues to search out prints from the halfling who preceeded them here, trotting ahead. Kesyn makes a grab for her tail to hold her back from approaching the old man, thining the Cats bend on mischief. "Come back here!" She hisses quietly as the lenght of Razors tail eludes her.

[Wolftooth ] Upon hearing Verhowain, the elderly man immediately looks up from his contemplation towards the invaders of his garden, suspicion quelled by the sounds of druidic speech. He smiles and nods to him, keeping his hands buried in his lap and covered by the ends of his beard. A reply comes first in druidic for Verhowain, then in common for the rest. "So, more have come seeking an audience with the noble Kippahla? I have already disappointed one, I would hate to disappoint others." Hearing Linsida speak, he smiles. "But at least you and your company seems to have a finer respect for the beauty of the wilds."

Wolftooth immediately does something very out of place as his wide eyes fall upon the elderly gentleman seated by the pool. He kneels, bowing his head and placing the tips of his left hand to his heart, speaking something reverent that must be in orcish. The elderly man tilts his head just a little, not understanding the spoken words, but seems to understand the woodland greeting none-the-less.

[Wolftooth ] ((Dun Kae Lins Ver Raz Tick))

Dunithenail stops, more or less behind the others, armour is not designed for running in and definitely not this armour. He's had audiences with kings, all manner of nobility. even, as part of his training, spoken with Celestials. The old man doesnt overy impress or cause awe. He does sheathe the sword though, as a mark of respect, naked blades do not make for good meetings. As it slides back into it's sheath the blade's blinding radiance winks out at last, leaving odd little aimages in the eye and shadows as they wink back into place. He does bow "The order of Ortesk sends greetings." Some sort of learned greeting perhaps

Kaelie moves away from the rest of the party slightly, while trying not to seem like she's completely shying away from the glade entirely. She wasn't really shying away from potential danger, or at least that's what she kept telling herself as she inched. However, she did have the decorum to offer a respectful nod to the old man, and mumble something polite in elven out of reflex.

Linsida nods to the elderly man as she smiles and bows to him. "I am Linsida, priestess of Aphrodite, as my comanpanions said, we are here to find an elixir to save the Lady of the elves, for she has falling to a sickness that no magic can cure, we we're told that the only way to save her was this elixir that can only be found here."

Verhowain smiles upon hearing the primordial cant of his order "You do me great honor, Revered Elder, to hear such words again after such time alone makes my heart sing." He looks to Wolftooth surprised by his actions. He blinks a bit now that the bright light from Dunithenail's sword is no longer casting its luminance over everything. He has kept his word bringing them to the glade and remains respectfully quiet now while they pled their case.

Razor keeps approaching the Old man , her nose low to the ground as she's rather intent on following the unseen trail.Kesyn mumbles appologies as she moves through the others after Razor. The Cats abrupt droping to the ground before the Old man has her nearly triping over her when she goes to grab her. She looks at the old man with an appologetic smile. "Sorry. I was not sure what she would do." She lightly strokes Razors head as she seems content just to lay there before the Old Man.

Ticker chirps and shake his head at the cat. He'd stoped when she'd left the group. He doesnt say anything to the old Druid, but keeps watch for anything out of place. Like the Halfling returning or somesuch. He was just along to help what he could. He'll let everyone else ask for what they came for.

[Wolftooth ] The elder glances up at Dunithenail from where he sits by the pool. "Ortesk?" he says, speaking the name with only the vaguest familiarity. "Hmm." He nods, not really knowing how to respond exactly. "And greetings to you, fair knight. And to the rest of your companions as well." To Linsida, he gives a curious look, eyes twinkling. "So you are after the elixir told of in legend. But not for yourselves? Interesting ..." He watches Razor now as she approaches, giving her a thoroughly inquisitive appraisal as though not knowing what to truly think of her, though he does not seem to fear her in the slightest in this place of tranquil beauty. These same eyes now dart up to Kesyn, smiling. "It is alright, my dear," he tells her with the hint of a chuckle in his voice. "Never come between a hunting beast's nose and her prey, they say."

[Wolftooth ] Wolftooth straightens as the elder continues with a bit more volume to his voice, belying the age that shows on the outside. "I am afraid you will not find and audience with Kippahla this day. However, if you would still seek the elixir, I may be able to oblige." He reaches out a hand now to scratch Razor affectionately behind her ears in a very welcome manner, mindful of her reaction in case she does not wish such attentions. "However before I do this for you, you must pass a simple test. A question, in fact. Answer correctly, and the elixir is yours. Answer incorrectly, and you shall meet the same fate as the halfling who came before you until you all learn the proper answer." He looks up from the cat now to each one of you in turn, his gaze piercing deeply into your hearts. "So ... what will you do?"

[Wolftooth ] ((Dun Kae Lin Raz Tick Ver))

[Wolftooth ] ((Feel free to discuss amongst yourselves to come up with a response. The elder is patient ...))

[Razor ] --also we're going to go abit over the time so we can finish this up. likely no more then an hour so you can up lvl and get goodies from ME that you are sooooo going to need =P

Dunithenail seems a little baffled. He has everything he needs in this armour and his steed. In fact he hasnt been out of this armour since it was last prepared. he even sleeps in it. He's not overly surprised by the old man not knowing his order or religion. He's teh first Knight of Ortesk to come this way in some years now. Sent to blaze the trail for others. His voise sounds a little confused, True he has a slightly ulterior motive to bringing the elixir back, but it's certainly not an evil intent, all he wants is consideration for his oprder, for the knights that will follow him. Healso doesnt overly worry about death, greater rewards await him "If need be I will answer alone." To die in service is the greatest honour his order has, and garantees him a choice place in paradise

[Kaelie ] "My interests are split.." the words slip from her in something very near a whisper. She eyes the rest of the group, and a fey smile colors her features as she shrugs through her honesty.

Linsida looks to the others and already looks like she's made her mind up about what she wants to do, yet she wait for the others to finish voiceing there opens. "I"m willing to be asked this question of fate."

[Wolftooth ] The elder responds to Dun's statement. "You all came here as a group, so I will allow you to discuss amongst yourselves and answer as a group. You all shall recieve the reward or punishment should you try to answer the question."

Razor brings her nose up to sniff at the underside of the OldMans arm when he scratches her, Kesyn letting out an audiable pent of breath as she's releived Razor didnt decide to bite. She smiles once more charmingly at the OldMan as she listesn to the others consent. "When ever you are willing to pose the question Sir as apparently we are all in accordance."(kesyn's last part comes after eveyone elses btw)

Ticker shurgs and curls up where he's standing, he glances at the old Druid and just nods his head slightly. "Axun'axun Yth'l ukris'er wux." He glances over the group and then lasys his head down as he waits for the question to be ask.

Verhowain remains quiet, it wasn't his place to decide or even comment, he would help them if they decided to stay or lead them out should departure be their course. At least until he was included by the Elders stare... His surprise is only topped by the lizard speaking... something. "I will aid as best I can, I would not be a good guide if I were not to stay the course afterall."

Wolftooth seems a bit edgy at the mention of punishment. Perhaps he has some idea of what may be in store? Some insight into what this elder of the woods may be capable of that the others may not know? He takes a deep breath now before nodding and looking to Owain knowingly, hoping that between his mother's teachings and the other woodskeeper's knowledge they will somehow find an answer.

[Kesyn ] ((With thanks to Wolf and Razor. It's been a hellish morning, but Hey, all))

[Wolftooth ] The elder studies everyone's reactions closely from his seat beside the pool amidst the beautiful forest grove, nodding slowly as everyone seems to more or less agree. Wasting no time, he straightens his posture slightly, wriggling in his seat as he tries to muster some look of pride about him and clearing his throat before speaking clearly to all, his words sounding almost rehearsed. "You only get three guesses, so I suggest you use them wisely. Answer me which of these is most important, and I shall grant you what you seek. Plants, Herbivores, Carnivores, Scavengers, Rain, Soil, or Sunlight." He relaxes a bit now as he waits, watching everyone. "As I said, feel free to discuss a bit before answering. I suggest that only one of you try to answer to avoid confusion?"

[Wolftooth ] ((Welcome, Kesyn. Glad you could make it. ^_^))

[Wolftooth ] ((Posting order isn't so important now ... let's just stick to the user list for now.))

[Wolftooth ] ((In other words, if your character has something to say, just say it. But try to at least post in order. Wolftooth is gonna keep quiet, for obvious reasons.))

Kesyn sets fingers to stroke at a little chesnut plait that coils like a serpant at her shoulder, so much more relaxed in the beauty of the grove, the prism of her eyes glinting blue and green with the warmth of the laguna pool, turning to her group with a defferencial bow of her head, speaking softly and obvious to the group "Well then, fellows, there is an opinion? I myself know which I think it is...In my opinion, the answer would be Sunlight, as the rest depend largely on ther cycle it forms, but I will wait for your own opinions...Of course. "

Kaelie frowns at the question. She didn't quite see how any one of those things would be more important than the others.

Kesyn said her so...back to Dun it looks like

Dunithenail gives it a little thought before answering "Sunlight. If the sun fades, the world dies." Simple really No sunlight no plants, no plants no herbivores, no herbivores no carnivores, no carvivores no scavengers.

[Wolftooth ] The elder listens intently, smiling in silent amusement at everyone's words yet not taking any one person's for a final answer just yet.

Dunithenail watches Razor play with the revolving door o.O

[Kesyn ] "The question was not, which is the only important one, but that which is the most important, Linsida. And, the underground creatures are still influnenced by the light the sun gives to the world, and the rain it soaks into the clouds to fall on the soil...But of course, just my opinion..."

Ticker just lays where he is, waiting for someone to try and come up with an answer. From his point of view, it would be all or none. He shrugs though and just stays curled up where he is. No one would be able to understand him if he talked anyways.

Razor 's just going to have to deal with a fucked up screen here..

[Verhowain ] "They all are important for the same reason, without plants it all falls apart, without Herbivores, etc... There are plants that grow without sunlight just as there are plants that grow without soil or rain... Of all the choices given I'm tempted to say 'or' representing the Oraboras, the circle of life itself.."

[Kaelie ] "Well, we do get three guesses. What Linsida brings up is just as valid a responce as saying Sunlight is the most important."

Razor 's quiet still, moving from laying on her stomach to lounging on her side as the others debate with each other.

Linsida blinks at Verhowain. "I would listen to your wisdom first, you understand you riddles of you people better and you seems to know how follow it."

[Wolftooth ] The elder watches quietly, still stroking Razor's ears, head and neck whilst waiting. It doesn't seem like a decision has been reached just yet.

Wolftooth just stands there chewing on his bottom lip with an irregularly angled tooth, too nervous to try and voice any opinion. They both sound like good answers to him.

Razor 's soft rumbling noises increase to a full out purr that vibrates along her bdoy from the strokes from the Elder. They goof she knows already what will become of them all. Trading one 'companion' for another is no bother to her in the least.

Kesyn 's wings flair and flitter out, stretches to the very tips of finger feathers, letting the snowy flecks in the dark wings shimmer in the air "Say what you will, I care not....Listen to the old druid for of course he is wiser. Answer what you will...Once, twice, on the third strike we are dead I am sure."

Dunithenail turns to Verhowain, a finger raised. be warned, religious argument follows. "Ortesk's wisdom governs the ebbs and flows of life. It is his wisdomn that starts the circle again when it is done." If no one stops him this is likely to contuinue for some time as he "educates" this wildman

Verhowain nods "He did not ask which one of these things but simply which of these things and he gave us a list including 'or'... Now as said we have three guesses and there are all good arguments defending everything everyone has said, sunlight keeps all things alive to a certain extent, rain, soil, and so forth... We can easily answer 'Sunlight' for the first and 'or' for the second or visa versa... leaving us one more guess. I cannot in good judgement say any one of these things is the most important..." He looks at Dunithenail "But the circle is never done it always continues..." Yes he's confused but hey that's a wildman for you.

Wolftooth raises an eyebrow at Dunithenail. Somehow you all get the feeling that Wolftooth doesn't agree with him.

[Adwen ] ((can I join?))

[Adwen ] ((May I join?))

[Wolftooth ] ((Sorry, Adwen. Closed plot. If you weren't invited, we can't let you in.))

Kaelie actually grumbles something unpleasant in vague overtones about religious zelots.

[Razor ] -incase you didnt notice Adwen..the room states 'Closed' right on it.

[Linsida ] "I suppose we have all the answers we can get," as she frowns at Dunithenail. "Man of Arms, did it ever cocour to you that the person asking the riddle of us doesn't belive the same thing as you?" as she blinks her soft doe eyes at him.

[Adwen ] ((oh sorry... I didn't see closed))

Ticker smirks slightly at Kae from where he lays curled up off to the side of things,....

Razor opens her jaws wide in a yawn, licking her muzzle as she closes it. Her tail rhythmicly swishes through the grass as she continues to lounge near the Oldman. Her gaze travels to one to another as they speak, following the conversation apparently as it goes on and on

Verhowain pauses in his trails of thoughts and looks to the Elder for a moment, his eyes, one dark and shadowed the other bright with icy brilliance... He cocks his head to the side running the Elder's words through his head over and over... "Answer me..." He looks back to the group "He said 'Answer me'... "

Dunithenail looks at Linsida "Did it occur to you that I am a hunter of unholy things?" She could be included in this, she's far too.............sexual for his tastes, teh tastes of his order. He shuts up after that. he's said his say and doesnt seemt o see the need to say anything else

Wolftooth glances to one side to look at the elder nervously. The elder just looks back at him inquisitively. Wolftooth also catches Razor's apparent following of the conversation, giving the kitty another of his odd looks. What a strange cat ...

Razor tenses visably at Dun's words, the action likly only caught by the elder and Wolf though as they are the only ones looking when she does it.

Kaelie gives Dunithenail a black look. She was related to a few unholy things that she still cared for deeply despite it all.

[Kesyn ] "So speak Druid...It seems a better answer than any other....Speak and we may be free from this banality"

[Wolftooth ] The elder senses Razor's tension, and abruply speaks. "Time is short, gentle creatures. I would have your first answer." He looks now to Kaelie of all people, waiting to see what she will say.

Linsida simply shakes her head and sighs.

Verhowain looks at the party "Does any other have any better answer then those we have stated? Sunlight, or and me?"

[Linsida ] "I do not think so."

Kaelie lets out an irritated breath, but she returns the Elders look after glancing back at Verhowain. "Of all the things I consider important, I put myself first on the list. The world and everything else in it be damned."

Dunithenail seems to have clammed up for the moment, just standing there immobile like a display armour in a castle

Wolftooth turns to look at Verhowain instead. "What have you decided?"

[Wolftooth ] ((oops ... the elder turns to look, etc.))

Verhowain nods "Very well then..." He looks to the Elder having been apparently chosen "Our first answer is 'Me'." Yes he winces after saying it, could it be that simple?

[Wolftooth ] The elder considers Verhowain's answer for a moment before frowning and shaking his head. "I think not. Answer again."

Verhowain looks to the Group "Okay I think someone else should state the next answer... I've lost what confidence I had with that.."

Wolftooth glances from group member to member, at last settling on Kesyn and waiting to see what she will say, seeing as Verhowain has lost the strength to speak for the group.

[Wolftooth ] ((Again ... Elder glances etc.))

Kesyn steps forward, irregardless of the rest, her wingtips glinting in the light, she truly was a beautiful creature, but there was something apart about her, something hauty and alien "Speaking purely from the sceintific teachings of my elders, and as a child of the sky herself. I answer Sunlight."

Kaelie sighs and looks to Verhowain, "I think your or thing is the right answer.." she frowns, "Even though if it came down to me and existance, I'd choose me.."

[Wolftooth ] The elder nods, stroking his chin thoughtfully. "Indeed, the sun is very important ... but no. You have one more answer. Choose carefully."

Ticker lays where he is, but watchs Kesy with a slight interest as she moves to speak. Tilting his head to the side slightly, but not making another move.

Razor rolls to her feet in one swift motion. A lazy stretch comes before she pads closer to the elder, her nose only a few inches from his. Her mouth opens just a little, her lip curling to reveal her elongated incisers before rather clearly and at nearly a growl a definate word emerges from her mouth. " All " she sits back then on her haunches, lifting a paw to rub it over her face

Wolftooth 's jaw goes slack as the feline speaks ... and then remembrance catches him. He's heard Razor speak once before, after all, down in the caves. Still it seems very strange to him. The elder is highly amused, a broad grin showing beneath his beard as he chuckles happily, scratching the cat's head now with both hands. "Indeed, you must have been listening. Yes, all are important. The plants, the animals, the soil and the rain, the sun, stars, and moon. All play an equal part in the circle of life, and without any one thing this world would not be the same."

[Wolftooth ] ((Dun Kae Kes Lins Tick Ver Raz))

Dunithenail just stands there doing the "Suit of armour in a castle" Routine for the moment, just waiting

Kaelie still feels the urge to glare unrelentingly at Dunithenail, but she steps around that feeling for the moment to allow a little bit of shock to sink in over the feline's sentiments.

[Wolftooth ] The elder wastes no time, releasing Razor's head and reaching in beneath the shaggy brown tunic to pull something forth, an object which shines and sparkles in what little sunlight reaches this glade through the thick clouds above. It appears to be ivory with an odd pinkish sort of luster, and shaped like a narrow and spiralled cone. Its beauty is unparalleled, standing in stark contrast to the humble appearance of the old man as it dangles from a simple leather cord around his neck. He removes it from around his head, chanting something in old druidic as he reaches out over the pool to trail the horn through the water in slow circles, a free hand reaching into a side pouch and quickly pulling out a glass vial ...

Kesyn preens her feathers, simple as you like, she thought the whole thing stupid, and below her, the questionhad been poorly phrased, then again what was to be expected.

Linsida smiles softly and claps very softly, "Yay." as she smiles and gives everyone a small hug as she beams. She walks back to Alfred and gets out that very nice wine Kaelie's been privy to.

Ticker blinks slightly at Raz, but shrugs it off and goes back to watching Kesy. He chirps slightly though when the Druid says that Raz is corect. Happy that all this will be over and her can get a move on to the next interesting thing that comes up instead of laying here bored. He shrugs though. Its going to have a nice ending to it. Hopefully. As long and the Holy man over there dont go forfetting thier work to push his god on others. He sighs slightly. He'll just have to wait and see.

Verhowain shrugs "I would have been right with or..." That was his only comment. He bows respectfully to the Elder and awaits in silence for the group to gather their Elixir.

[Wolftooth ] At length, the water touched by the horn begins to glow with its own inner light, a deep and rich blue. Slowly the elder reaches forward with the vial to scoop out some of the precious fluid, filling the vial with the rich blue. His chant aprubtly ceases, ending with a common druidic blessing before smiling, stoppering the vial, and offering it to Kesyn who is nearest to him - save Razor, who currently lacks the ability to grasp with anything other than her mouth. "The elixir of the legendary unicorn Kippahla. Use it wisely."

Kesyn bows her head as seems appropriate, the vial handled carefully by the tall Elven woman, treated with deffernce, and placed carefully away, with a little shiver of the arcane to seal it safe in her belt pouch.

Razor beats the ever loving shit out of her connection

Razor 's half afk while she does things..needs 2 rolls from everyone! 1d3 and 1d100's please.

Dunithenail doesnt appear to notice Kaelie's glare, but his helmet stares at her with angelic disdain forged into it as a mask. He doesnt move till the old man is finished, bowing deeply. He's not happy about something by the sound of his voice, but it's nothing to do with the old man "The order of Ortesk thanks you and sends Kippahla it's greetings." Maybe oneof the other order members will need to deal with this unicorn in teh future and it always pays to pave roads as they say

Wolftooth watches the whole proceeding in awe, memory flooding his face and terribly relieved that the group won't be turned into trees or some such curse of nature. The elder smiles at the others, seeming pleased. "And one more thing, for all of you." He again reaches back into that side pouch of his, this time pulling forth eight more vials of a softer blue. "One for each of you. Drink them if in poor health, and they will restore some lost vigor. Consider them gifts for your kindness to another whom I have not even met."

[Wolftooth ] ((Okay, we're gonna do the fast forward and consider the quest over. Congrats, everybody!))

Verhowain bows once more accepting the vial.

[Dunithenail ] copul;d have been worse I guess >.

[Razor ] someone npc me for now while i look things up

Kaelie thinks Wolf's dice are rigged :p

Dunithenail accepts the vial, but has no real use for it, It ends up down the front of his armour in the space between his pectorals. It will be returned to his order for later analysis to see if they can duplicate or benefit from it

[Wolftooth ] ((For the record, everybody gains enough experience to bring them to the next level (4th, most likely). Also, each of you gains 1 potion of cure light wounds (restores 1d8+1 hp when drunk), plus 500 gp as a reward from Halyad. Sorry, no reward from the other dude. Also, Razor is cooking up some additional rewards from the grateful elven princess Syldah Ranil.))

Dunithenail will npc Razor! *Evil cackle*

[Wolftooth ] ((Kesyn can NPC Razor. It's only fair.))

Kaelie wonders if she should fear for her life.. O.o

Dunithenail only wants one thing from the Elven Princess

[Dunithenail ] And no, it's agreement that his order can come and go on her lands :P

Verhowain erased his comment quite ably.

[Wolftooth ] ((Oh, so we're still going ICly? Oops. Alright then ...))

Verhowain thought it was over....

[Razor ] wolf, roll d100 again please?

[Wolftooth ] The elder smiles at the lot of you. "Now I believe you'll want to be leaving this glade and returning to the ill maiden as soon as possible? I have means prepared, provided none of you mind heights ..."

[Wolftooth ] ((Razor needs a bit of time, so may as well finish formally ...))

[Linsida ] "I don't mind heights, but what about him." as she looks over to Alfred.

Verhowain 's player is curled up under a throw trying to keep limbs from aching... Presume Ver's gone along quietly.

Wolftooth looks as if he just swallowed something foul after hearing the elder speak. "Uhhh ..." The elder just chuckles, eyes twinkling brightly as he tucks the unicorn's horn back beneath his shirt, puts two fingers into his mouth and whistles loudly. After a few moments, the whistle is answered by several piercing cries as large eagles descend from the clouds above to land all about the grove. There are six in all. The elder smiles happily, though looks rather disconcertedly at Linsida's horse. "Hmmm ... that's a problem ..." he says, stroking his chin thoughtfully.

[Razor ] -oohkay...ready?

Dunithenail feels no fear, ever, content in the knowledge that his place in the heavens is assured :P

[Wolftooth ] Elder's last words to Linsida is "Nothing a quick polymorph won't fix ..."

Kesyn rather doesn't need the eagles aid, but will engage them in polite conversation while the rest sort out the problems

Razor thinks she's cutting wolf off here...

Verhowain 's so gonna talk to the ants and have them move their colony to Dunithenail's plate-mail undies... Yup yup! *G*

Wolftooth falls to his death. "I regret nothiiiinnng ....!"

Kaelie wants to usher Dun to his place quicker for some unknown reason.. :p

Ticker regrets not pushing wolf, =P

[Razor ] ok...time for goodies. Kes is copying so i can put them on your sheets..add them to your own.

[Wolftooth ] ((Actually, I do regret one thing ... the fact that my 'little' subplot took so long to run. For that, I do humbly apologize. But you'll notice I rolled no dice today. Improvement!))

Dunithenail has magics in this armour to deal with little nasties, Ver :P:::::::

[Razor ] Ver - bag of Tricks. Kes longsword shocking burst (i'm gonna regret that one) Kae - ring of feather fall. Wolf - bracers of giant strenght (you bastard for rolling so high)

Wolftooth happily settles into his PC seat and awaits the goodies.

[Verhowain ] The world is in deep trouble *EG*

[Razor ] Lin - bag of holding lvl 1. weight 15 lbs..holds 250 lbs of junk.

Wolftooth does the happy dance!! :-D

[Razor ] your sword goes to your new character. Dun gets ...umm...well he's switching characters on me sooo...

[Razor ] did I forget anyone?

[Verhowain ] Tick I think, Razor.

[Dunithenail ] I dont mind, wehat Dun's after is the agreement, nothing more :) He's a religious nutter, he;s wearing everything he;ll ever need except for the horse

Ticker gets a Ring of Prot. +1 *snickers, ;)

[Razor ] Ticker gets arrows of seeking..you hit everytime ..you got 10 of em

[Kesyn ] "He's gonna wear a horse? Wow...Reeeeal Paladin"

Verhowain 'll have a high druid cast the plague of pigeons on Dunie! *G*

[Razor ] you dont retreive em..they'r history

[Wolftooth ] Lady Syldah Ranil says she'll speak with her parents about such agreements as soon as she arrives safely home, and put in her best word for them, Dun.

Ticker knows how the blasted Arrows work, =P

[Razor ] Dun i'll talk to you later about what to give your new one once i get the idea of what your going for

Wolftooth doesn't see his magic item in the DMG ... just tell me what amount of Str I get?

Verhowain 's gonna head off and collaps in bed now, fun playing with you all, g'night...

[Razor ] I made em bracers instead of the amulet they were under i think..

[Wolftooth ] Which Giant? It makes a difference ...

[Wolftooth ] +4 works.

[Razor ] Lin..you can stick everything but alfred in the bag =P

Dunithenail will be copmtent with that. He tells her that another of his order will call to get the answer. They arent intent on conquest, just spreading their message by doing good deeds basically. They wont even ask that her people change religions in return for services rendered, just that they listen :)

[Ticker ] Night Verh, =P

[Kesyn ] ((It's just a name, but it's an enhancements bonus, not an instant Giant...So it'd be +4))

Kaelie slips that lovely ring around her finger and hopes that no one thinks to cut it off. ~.^

Ticker pokes Raz with Kesy's sword, >=P

[Wolftooth ] ((*nods* Right. Thing is, I've seen these come in +2, +4, +6 ... even higher varieties. But +4 it is. Wow. That gives me a 20 Str. Wa ha ha!!))

Wolftooth looks from Kesyn's sword to Razor ... and just dies laughing.

[Wolftooth ] Good night, Ver! Thanks for coming!

[Razor ] shut up Wolf..her first one was going to be one that gives her a +10 against outsiders which was just as bad!

[Razor ] Kae if you dont know, the ring activates automaticly if you fall more then 5ft.

Razor is going to regrest giving you most of what she gave you..she can see it now o.O

Wolftooth flexes his newfound muscles proudly. "And they called me the runt of the litter back home ... I'll show them!"

Ticker 's GOING to make you regret every arrow you gave him, ;)

[Razor ] might come in handy when the 10,000 scorpions chase you off that cliff Kaelie =P

[Wolftooth ] Ticker is now officially the can't hit him, never misses winged terror.

[Razor ] Kes you likie your sword?

Kaelie tries not to pee herself as she whimpers...

Kesyn likies her sword, she jsut needs to get a matching one now for the next character

[Dunithenail ] that'll make a change for Trav, usually he has diffulty hiting teh side odf a barn..........from the inside :P

Ticker THWAPS! Dun, Shush you! =P

[Razor ] you can give it to your other charater Kes..Dun yours is desruption..you basicly massacure undead

[Wolftooth ] Ooooh, disruption ... nice.

[Razor ] Kes can give you the full run down on it later.

[Wolftooth ] We be scary! Which means ... we'll be facing equally scary things! ... aww, crap.

[Razor ] everyone like their new toys?

Kaelie feels very.. very scared... as she should be

[Razor ] and i really wanted to sic the rust monster on Dun too..damn

[Linsida ] More like utility for me.

Ticker does, they go nicely with his Char,.... >=P

[Kaelie ] Love mine ^.^

Dunithenail will play over AIm and Razor can rust him solid and then crack him open like a pastry :P

[Razor ] you have something you'd like better Lin?

[Wolftooth ] Mine's great! I'm really starting to think the Keep's dice roller likes me.

[Wolftooth ] But now I need a better bow ...

[Razor ] hehee i cant wait till you accidently break the one you have now Wolf *EG* there are some draw backs ya know

[Firzen ] I'm making a ORPG, using Shaterresd light, and I need a place to host the server. I need Shel Access. Does RPG Host allow server hosting?

[Razor ] I'm such a bitch.

[Dunithenail ] we dont do RPGhost, Firzen o.O#

[Kaelie ] What level do you want us upping our characters to?

Wolftooth gets two points for the assist.

[Razor ] 4 but i might change that to 5 so watch your emails for info

[Wolftooth ] "I know all about that, Razor. In my other group in Cheney, one of our characters rolled a triple fumble when firing his bow ... snapped the bow and the string lashed over his eye, scarring him for life. Any fighter worth his salt can recognize the scar for what it is and laugh at him."

[Razor ] cause well...i think i might have over did the baddies

[Razor ] Lin?? hellos?

Razor has dragons in her's Kaelie..

[Razor ] anything different you;d like to have? i'm flexiable

[Linsida ] Nope, it's what I need for now.

Dunithenail has heard that. Razor ;)

Wolftooth does well against monstrous humanoids ...

Ticker NEW he shouldnt have gave you that, -_-

Dunithenail 's next offering will be certain to vut it down to size ;)

Wolftooth gives said Ogre zombie the longspear that the other ogre in the bridge battle had.

[Dunithenail ] Mebbe it's teh same ogre come back to complain o.O

Wolftooth doesn't want to be used as a cudgel! He bruises easily!

[Kaelie ] Hmmm.. Big, gross, and ugly to boot...

[Razor ] I gots to redo something since Dun and Kes are running off to get married and two new ones are joining but i'l be ready

[Razor ] now..we start at 3:30am est. Be on time please. I move alot faster then Wolf does and I'll give posting orders each round as pertainn to where you are.

Wolftooth doublechecks his char sheet and sees that he's only 2nd level?! o.O

[Razor ] Anyone intersted in an example, see Ticker for logs from our modern game

[Razor ] Redo it and resend it to me Wolf as 4th level

[Razor ] at works email, not home

[Razor ] if it wont take it then send it home and i'll just disc it to take it to print out

[Wolftooth ] Okay, I will again say for the record that I get off from my job at varying times, depending on how busy we get at the store. On average, I'll be here at 3:30, but it may be earlier or later. I'll do my best to be on time, but for the most part it's out of my control.

[Wolftooth ] "Will do, Razor."

Ticker fricken HATES the keep, his IE died, he lost the whole fricken game again, *grumbles*

Wolftooth is so picking up Power Attack. Then Cleave.

[Wolftooth ] "What format do you want it in, Ticker? I'll email it to ya."

Razor 's created a monster in Wolf.

[Wolftooth ] "Don't get me started, Razor."

[Razor ] word of advice though, dont second guess your chracters actions, go with your first instinct it comes off more natural.

[Razor ] Yes Wolf, Razor is a monster but I dont use it =P

[Razor ] Yes Wolf, Razor is a monster but I dont use it =P
