Devaine_Hawk pulls the car up outside the 4 story building , with “Behind Blue Eyes , the original not that M&M crap and shuts it off. Getting out and leading the party through the lobby he enters the elevator with them and pushes the 3 rd floor button , holding the door for the others

BatmanDarknight :drapped in the darkness of the shadows,, his white eyes narrowing as he moved about the building,, how he got inside was a mystery unto itself ,,he waits for the man inside his office,, how he even knew where it was located again,, was a mystery,, but he would be all too happy to offer an explination when the man would arrive in his ofice::

Flash_Guardian follows the others up the elevator, down the 3rd floor hall to stand outside Devaine's office, waiting.

Kade is following Glyniss, having never been here before.

BatmanDarknight :is already inside Devaine's office awaiting his apperance,, his form hidden beneath the shadows of the lightless room::

Devaine_Hawk rides the elevator up to the 3rd floor , stepping out as the door opens and leads them to the office door at the end of the hall. Punching the security code into the wall panel, he unlocks the door and flips the lights on as he makes his way to the desk in the middle,” you guys pull up chair for a second while I make sure Flash’s fan club don’t crash in unannounced “ he whispers ,pointing to a stack of folding chairs in the corner next to the book case

Flash_Guardian scowls at Devaine, looking offended. "Hey!" He quickly finds his way to the metal folding chairs and sets out three of them.

Glyniss_McMasters shrugs her shoulders guessing she never managed to drag Flash out the pub the first attempt...limping now after Dev

[Kade] Fan, club?

Devaine_Hawk looks back to the dark corner where Batman lurks ,”even you have an aura , and I see those these days , what do you want?”

BatmanDarknight :he stands there,, in the office as the lights flicker on,, his form fully visible,, his white eyes narrow as he makes his way forward,, the large black cape hunging down his shoulders as he makes eye contact with Hawk:: Forgive my trespass,, im new in town you can say,, and im just getting a look at the law of the land. That is what you people are isnt it?

Kade blinks a bit and leans close to Glyniss as he whispers, "We look like the law?"

Flash_Guardian lifts his head from his work with the chairs to follow Devaine's gaze. Sure enough, someone was there. Flash listens to the man's words, rather curious as to how he had gotten into Devaine's office.

Devaine_Hawk pushes a button on the desk and a panel in the top of it slides back to reveal a control panel , Dev begins to push buttons and keys as he listens “No, just a private detective my self , sorry , good luck and all, the door is over there , “

Glyniss_McMasters blinks at Kade coughing..." Wha'.....us...?"...limping over to the fold up chairs leaning her parcel against the wall as she fishes one out passing it to Kade with a grin and wink...before fishing one out for herself....unfolding it before settling onto it leg stretching out a little as the metal locks in place

Devaine_Hawk finishes the manipulation of the panel and it slides it back into the false desk top , “alright, the security system is up and running we should be able to work in peace as soon as our unexpected guest here lets him self out “

Flash_Guardian takes a bit more diplomatic tone to the dark-robed figure. "We're certainly not opposed to the law, but we aren't necessarily the ones enforcing it either," he explains with a shrug.

Kade shrugs a bit and unfolds his chair, setting it up next to Glyniss.

Flash_Guardian adds. "Devaine's right, I'm afraid. This is a private party, sir. If you'd be so kind?" he says, nodding his head towards the door at the shady individual.

Devaine_Hawk looks to the others , “nothing fancy , body heat sensors , infrared , motion detectors , subsonic disrupters , and nanotech fibers in the floor, weaved in with the carpet, give anyone not welcome a little go away shock , oh and I can release nerve gas from the vents if I absolutely have to,” he laughs.

BatmanDarknight :he stays silent,, hearing all the men say their peace,, he smirks:: but of course,, sorry,, I was ,, mistaken,, good day,, or should I say,, good night ill let myself out as your boss suggested. ::small black gas pellets would fall from his unclintched hand beneath his cape,, large dark black swirls of smoke encompass his form,, when the smoke cleared he was nowhere to be seen::

[Kade] Sounds safer the Fort Knox.

Flash_Guardian gives Devaine a wide-eyed and grateful look. The other figure quickly disappears in a cloud of black smoke, some of which envelops Flash for a few seconds. He steps out of the cloud, coughing and waving his hands irritatedly.

Devaine_Hawk rolls his eyes , “he went out the window again , he thinks all that smoke fools me or my sensors ,” he laughs as he walks over to the wall beside the book shelf and presses a hidden pressure plate . A section of the wall slides back to reveal another room with several benches and a crime lab as well as weapon racks on the wall , a safe bolted to the floor in the corner and a ballistics workshop.

Glyniss_McMasters leans back relaxing letting the others speak ...glancing around the room that contained so many defenses...side glancing at the coughing Flash...

[Glyniss_McMasters] "mayb' yer shoul' ge' yersel' a fa' fer fres' air sometim'"

Kade grins a bit as he hears Glyniss.

Flash_Guardian doesn't seem too phased at the secret lab, offering no more than an impressed grin. Apparently he's seen it before. With a final cough of indignation, he offers Glyniss a hand to help he stand. "We'll have a lot to discuss," he says to the seated pair. "Shall we?"

Devaine_Hawk walks to a printer and pulls out several sheets of papers ,”well lets see what we got on what was in the box so far”

Glyniss_McMasters coughs as she stands up..." I oka'..." glancing to Kade and nodding for him to follow....the loud click as metal unlocks as she turns limping towards the secret room..." Jus' wha' hav' yer find?"

Kade gets up to follow the others into the other room.

Flash_Guardian shrugs, following just a bit behind Glyniss. He tries to get Kade's attention as he goes. "Hey ... I never got the chance to thank you for letting me sleep at your camp the other night. It really meant a lot," he says, offering a friendly smile.

Kade shrugs a bit and smiles, "It was nothing. Any time."

Devaine_Hawk reads over the print outs as blue white flashes cross his eyes “well , they’re all parts , but realy advanced parts .reminds me of some of the stuff they had out at Area 31 when I was there back in my company days. But these are different some how , they all seem to be meant to do one thing ,but they could all do at least a couple of things , what I don’t know yet , but maybe repairs or even day to day functions on a larger mechanism”

Kade nods slowly as he listens to Devaine. He feels like he just walked in on the middle of a movie.

Flash_Guardian strides into the office, quickly finding an empty table and setting his scroll down upon its surface, flat. "No, really," he argues with Kade. "I think more than just a place to lay my head, I needed to know that someone was going to watch out for me while I slept," he says with an appreciative grin. At Devaine's words, he glances over in his direction. "That reminds me ... Glyniss and I came to a rather startling revelation in that library we found ..." He catches Kade's look all of a sudden, stopping in mid-thought. "Uh, maybe we'd better start from the beginning, eh guys?"

Devaine_Hawk remembers his manners and that he’s thirsty , as he lights up walking back toward the office “any one want a drink, got Heinekens or Jack , sorry Flash no milk for boy scouts “he snickers.

Flash_Guardian just smirks and rolls his eyes at Devaine as he passes.

Kade shakes his head at Flash's offer, "Thats alright, I'll pick up what I need to know as you guys go along." He then looks over at Devaine, "Water if you have it."

Glyniss_McMasters glances areound for a place to sit hopefully finding somewhere to perch her body....shaking her head to Dev.." Naw...nee' a clae' hea' fer this..."

Flash_Guardian shrugs at Kade. "Suit yourself ... though feel free to ask questions if you need to." Flash reaches down, untying the small pouch from his belt and setting it on the table in front of him. He touches the black rune branded on its surface with his palm and mutters a few strange words, and suddenly the pouch swells to a much larger size, as large as a cauldron, and appearing much fuller. Resting his knees on a nearby bench, he leans over the top of the sack and begins rifling through its contents.

Devaine_Hawk pulls a bottle of booze , a spring water , and a frosted shot glass out of the little mini frig in a corner ,passing the water to Kade ,and glancing at his sensor read out on the sets as he settles in the recliner behind it . “whatever you think best , might as well work on the scroll, a while “

Kade nods in thanks as he takes the bottle from Devaine.

Flash_Guardian eventually pulls himself triumphantly from the sack, his hands now clutching a thick, old looking text entitled 'Durcant's History of Magic, 495th edition.' He sets the book down on the table, then peers over at the collection of odd futuristic junk. "So they're basically just parts and tools, and we have no idea what each one's purpose might be?"

Kade blinks a bit in surprise as Flash pulls the large book out of what had been such a small pouch.

[Devaine_Hawk] “they seem to serve dual or more functions , but each looks like it was made for a specific job , we need to know what who ever was using them was trying to do before we start guessing how they work”

Glyniss_McMasters sits quietly and just watches..a small smile appearing at Flash's holdings bag...just waiting to find out what's going to unfold from the forthcoming discussion

Flash_Guardian interjects a thought. "Well, maybe the place that we found them could serve as some clue ... it looked like a sort of futuristic garage or docking bay, if you ask me," Flash says with a shrug. "The whole 'futuristic' thing fits in with my theory that the underground structure is from another time." Flash tilts his head suddenly. "Did you overhear Glyniss and I talking yesterday, Dev?"

Glyniss_McMasters chuckles softly at Flash question to Dev..." Shoo' he wa' ter bus' guidin' ou' ars' giv' him a brea' boyo"

[Devaine_Hawk] “if what we where in out there was a craft like we think maybe it used a prismatic hard light generator , coupled with an antigravity drive to propel and give it enough speed to hover in place when in orbit , or surpass the speed of light in a vacuume to cross intergalactic distance . That’s how the disks they had at Groom Lake worked ,among other technology , and no I didn’t , Flash”

Kade listens to the others talk, but keeps quiet. He has shoved his hands into his pockets as if he's afraid he'll break something by touching it.

Flash_Guardian nods to Devaine. "Glyniss and I found some interesting things in the library ... there was a large, black, circular rune on the floor, and these two items," he says, indicating the scroll and the book. "The rune on the floor is the same one seen on this scroll, which I think contains magical instructions to some kind of ritual." He then glances warily at the larger book. "This book, given what I know about Durcant and how he releases his books, technically shouldn't have even been written yet. I think this book is from a future time, and since we found it in the structure, I have a hunch that the entire structure is from a different time."

Glyniss_McMasters sideglances to Kade.." Yer oka' ter bu'..?" waiting for his answer before turning her attention to FLash...." Do yer kno' ifna anyon' els' kno' abou' ter craf'..or is it jus' us an' yer budd'?"

Flash_Guardian thinks for a moment before responding to Glyniss. "Only a handful of people should know about the place," he says, counting off on his fingers. "Myself, Bida, Aiza, Blank, Kodora, Devaine and you, Glyniss."

Kade nods and speaks softly to Glyniss, trying not to interupt, "Yeah, yeah. Just afraid I'll hurt something in here. Looks expensive."

MoonHunter would step out of a Pure Evil Portal looking around has the portal would then close

MoonHunter would then yell "Flash We Need to Talk Now"...he would then Rise his Aura very high that it would start to spark at stuff

Flash_Guardian hears (assuming MoonHunter is standing in the hall outside Devaine's office) a muffled yelling outside, giving it only a moment's curiousity before settling back to the discussion at hand.

[Devaine_Hawk] “if that’s what we’re dealing with , it’s dangerous .Anytime you go messing around with the taecheon stream , to make time travel possible , you take a chance on upsetting a very delicate balance . When you travel back on the stream , you create forks or lefts and rights if you change anything in recorded history . Think about the old paradox that says if you kill your own grandfather , or hell the guy that saves his life in the current stream , your never born , so you never came back to change things. Now , if someone is moving about in the stream on a big enough level , or using magic which doesn’t follow logic to begin with it gets worse, they could undo the big bang , or evolution , and wipe everything out.”

Glyniss_McMasters nods to Kade shifting a little on her found pourch head turning a little at the muffled sounded voice..noding to Dev as he speaks..." Tha' logica' enoug'.....so jus' wha' are yer suggestin'?"

Devaine_Hawk shrugs "hope like hell whoever they are know what they're doing , and are nice guys?" he laughs.

Flash_Guardian nods, at Devaine's explanations, offering his informed opinion. "I'm more than familiar with the proposed paradox, Dev, but I don't think we're dealing with anything that severe, thankfully. Not that I'm not cautious or anything. Now that I know there's a temporal distortion involved, I'll be sure to keep my senses open," he explains, looking around at the other three. "If I sense any danger, I'll be sure to let you know. I'd hate to have to step back out of time and ... 'fix' things," he grumbles.

MoonHunter would sit down taking a number?he would then wait like it would be a long ass waiting

Kade just nods slowly, pretending he knows what they are talking about. The sounds of muffled voices though do catch his attention.

MoonHunter would listen to them..Knowing what they are saying even from where he sat..He would smile thinking Time Travel huh..I aready can do that myself he would say in his mind

Caleb slowly descends to the ground admist the surrounding area. As he moves the well dressed and well groomed man makes his way toward the office building. While crossing the terrain beneath his feet, his pale hand reaches for the doorknob as his digits coil around it slowly twisting as he comes through the door. The man's crystal blue orbs gaze around, examining those who may be within the room. Stepping in further the man calmly begins to walk around taking in every depth of detail his opticals can conjure up from the visions his orbs are interacting with. After a few moments of this, he nods his head taking a seat. For now, he'll remain silent, he'll observe, and more than likely, he'll choose who he wishes to communicate with.

Glyniss_McMasters rises a brow at Flash...." Fix thin'.....ifna yer talkin' abou' goin' bac' an' fort' it ain' no goo' thin' ter do.....yer coul' ge' yersel' hur' or wors'"

Flash_Guardian quickly turns his attention back to the scroll on the table, while Devaine busies himself with the analysis of the metal shavings from the structure's outside surface. ((Note to the newcomers: Devaine's office door is locked and the security system is active.))

MoonHunter would cont to sit and listin

Flash_Guardian looks back at Glyniss with a grin. "No worries, Glyniss. Time travel happens to be one of the tools of my trade. My master is the lord of Time, after all," he explains with a reassuring smile.

Kade raises an eyebrow, "The lord of time?"

Glyniss_McMasters chuckles softly leaning forwards a little at Flash..."Exact'.....yer hav' a mast' ifna yer ac' on ter reaso' some' alway' bette' yer mor' caustoius(sp)"

Flash_Guardian nods at Kade and Glyniss. "Yup. The one and only Chen, god of Fate, Time, and Destiny," he explains with a smirk. "Didn't think I was a religious man, did you?" he beams at them, shrugging. "So yes, I will be more cautious and on alert in the future. Anyway ... maybe you two could help me with the scroll somehow?" he says, indicating the ancient parchment with an open hand.

Kade glances at the indicated item, "About all I can do saddly is say, yep, thats a scroll."

MoonHunter still Wait's for them to get done he shall wait as long as he can

Flash_Guardian sighs, looking between the two. "Look, there's nothing magical about what I have in mind," he tells the pair, pointing to a few symbols on the scroll. "After cross-referencing some of the symbols on this scroll with those that I found in this book," he says, tapping a finger on the tome, "I found out why the magical writings are so hard to make out." He leans down and speaks a bit lower. "The scroll is from the same time as the book, and is written in a futuristic language of magic that has, over time, become distorted and accented. It's the same language, but the pronunciation has changed ... do you get what I mean?"

Kade nods slowly, "I think I get you..."

MoonHunter would close his eye's and keep on listing

Glyniss_McMasters just rises a brow....showing her usual interest as she had yesterday...." Go on.....yer kno' yer hav' ter explai' thin' "

Flash_Guardian grins hopefully. "So here's what I was thinking ... I know it's probably not the most enjoyable use of your time, but maybe you can help me translate some of the futuristic symbols to ones that I would understand," Flash says, quickly opening the History of Magic book and flipping to a page previously bookmarked with a small leaf from the Gardens. He scoots the book closer to Glyniss and Kade so they can get a better view. The page is a table of archaic symbols with three columns labelled Modern, Old, and Ancient.

Kade smiles a bit as he looks from the book to Flash, "I'd thought I was done with school."

Glyniss_McMasters sighs rising up to flick back the stetson's brim with a finger as she peers over the book just casually side glancing towards Kade for mere seconds....shifting a little into a better position to see the book

Flash_Guardian shoots Kade a curious look. "I'm not asking you to learn magic for me or anything," he says, shaking his head. The Modern symbols match the ones shown on the scroll. The Old symbols are easily recognizable by anyone well versed in the ways of magic. "Anybody can look at symbols on a page and match them with symbols on another page," he says. "I was just wondering if the two of you could help me by translating what's here," he says, pointing to the scroll again, "to what's here." He now points to the symbols in the 'Old' column of the textbook. "That way, I should be able to get a clearer image of the spell shown on the scroll, without the futuristic lingo getting in the way." Flash looks between the two expectantly. "I can do it myself, to tell you the truth, but it'll take longer."

MoonHunter would start to fall asleep loseing grib on his skill he is useing to listin to them talk

Kade smiles more, "Don't worry, I'm glad to help. I was just having a little fun with you."

[MoonHunter] grip**

Flash_Guardian smiles appreciatively. "Alright, then. I think I saw a copy machine in Devaine's office ... hang on while I make a couple copies of the scroll, will you?" He slips off the bench and grabs the parchment, heading back into the office. "I'll try to find some pencils while I'm there."

MoonHunter would fall asleep loseing contol of his skill he would then start to dream about <*_~> My dream stay away lol

Kade nods as he gets up to lean over the book. Examining it while he waits for Flash to return.

Glyniss_McMasters watches Flash dart off..." Wh' do I fee' lik' yer tryin' ter fin' somethin' fer u' ter do...ifna yer ca' do it ow' sel'"

[Flash_Guardian] The sound of copying is heard in the other room, and soon Flash returns, bearing three copies of of the parchment on plain white printer paper. "I suppose we can try to share the book for now, but if that gets too hard we can make copies of it as well." He sets a copy down in front of Glyniss, Kade, and himself, setting a handful of pencils on the table and quickly getting to work. "I guess this will go easiest if we do this in sections ... I'll take the top. Kade, why don't you take the bottom and Glyniss take the middle?"

Kade takes his pencil, and almost immediatly starts to gnaw on the end of it as he sets to work on the section that Flash has assigned him, "Mmure"

Flash_Guardian just shrugs. "You certainly don't have to," he says, glancing at the book and making a few notes on his sheet. "Or would you rather just talk more about the underground structure instead?"

MoonHunter is sleeping like a rock

Kade nods in response to Flash's question, and already seems to be at work trying to deciper the parchment symbols for Flash.

Glyniss_McMasters frowns slightly peering down at the markings and symbols upon the paper...hand stretching out to take hold of the pencil..." Ain' sur' I be an' goo' ter thi' her' schoolin' stuf' is all....kee' yer dar' pant' on boyo"

[Flash_Guardian] Deciphering the parchment proceeds quickly. After a good 15-20 minutes have elapsed, they finish their work and Flash begins combining their translations onto his own sheet. "Not bad, you two," he says, looking rather impressed as he copies their work. "You may actually want to consider learning a bit about magic," he says with an amused chuckle.

Kade 's pencil by this time is probably a gnawed on nub. "I think I'll stick to guitar playing. Less chance to summon that which man was not meant to know."

MoonHunter is still sleeping cold

Glyniss_McMasters chuckles leaning back pencil lodged in the band of the stetson like a feather...." Thankee kindly Flas'"

MoonHunter would fall out of his chair and hit the floor still sleeping cold

Flash_Guardian chuckles amidst his concentration. "Yeah, yeah, I've heard it before. If man was meant to travel dimensions, he would have been given a more flexible silver cord, yadda yadda yadda," he jokes ... though the humor is probably lost on them. "Glyniss, your handwriting on some of these runes is especially well done," he says, sounding a little surprised.

Kade 's own hand writing would be rather close to chicken scratch in some areas.

Glyniss_McMasters grins " Yer kee' insultin' me lik' thi' an' I go hav' a goo' ol' cr' soo'.....didja thin' I coul' writ' or somethin'?" poking her tongue out at him....winking at Kade

Kade grins and holds up his hands, "Hey, I"m staying neutral in this whole thing."

Flash_Guardian seems a little bashful, stopping in his scribings to look at Glyniss sympathetically. "What, you can't take a compliment? Look, it really isn't that bad." He seems thoughtful for a moment. "Actually, how often do you write?" He resumes, and quickly finishes the last of the translations. "Alllmooossstt ... there." He picks the paper up, glancing over it, then sets it back down before them all.

Kade leans over to Flash and speaks in a soft conspiratorial tone, "Best to leave the compliments alone there. She's got a nasty punch when she wants to use it."

Glyniss_McMasters burst out laughing....grabbing hold of the pearch she had settled on to stop herself falling....." Ohh grea'......wha' yer wan' time' an' place' no'....hells bells boyo"

MoonHunter would wake up finding himself on the floor he would then sit back down then he would fall asleep again

Flash_Guardian looks between Glyniss and Kade, and decides it's safest to just let the issue drop. He looks back down to the paper, tracing a finger over a piece of writing here and there, his eyes busying themselves. "Yesss ... yes, this is much easier," he mumbles under his breath as his mind works.

[Kade] So, any better idea about what all the hocus-pokus is?

Flash_Guardian sweeps his eyes over the translation one final time, and a look of comprehension spreads over his face. He begins to trace his finger about the writing, reciting its meaning aloud as he does. "When one stands in the presence of the moon, the stars, and the sun, and speaks the word of passage, Penyoei, the way shall be opened."

[Kade] So, umm, the way to what?

Glyniss_McMasters slowly stops laughing straightening herself up ...grinning " Hi' gonn; sa' ifna...." she blinks at Flash.....reaching over and poking him hard in the ribs...." Goo' thin' ter ain' no sk' ma' abou' yer twit"

Flash_Guardian gets poked hard. "Ooumph!" he cries, flinching away from Glyniss's finger and slapping at it with a hand of his playfully, a perturbed sort of grin on his face. "What was that, Glyniss?" he asks her, rubbing at his side. Obviously her accent had made understanding her too difficult this time. "Good thing there's no ..."

Kade just chuckles a bit as he watches someone else get the buisness end of Glyniss' poke for once.

Glyniss_McMasters laughs pointing upwards..." Sk'.....map'...ain' no wher' say' it ha' ter be ou' sid' doe' it"

Flash_Guardian also turns to Kade, pointing at the large rune on the original parchment. "There's a rune just like this one on the floor in the structure that's hidden up in the hills," Flash explains. "It's just like the picture, only larger, about ten feet or so across. I'm pretty sure the rune is a transportation circle of some kind ... it'll probably lead us deeper inside the structure." He then turns back to Glyniss, considering her words with a hand on his chin. "Very true ... I doubt they would write this to mean the actual sun, moon, and stars. It's probably more like a riddle ... something in the Library where we found the rune probably represents the moon, something the stars, and something else the sun." Flash shrugs casually. "Just a guess."

[Kade] A educated guess is better then no guess at all.

Flash_Guardian nods at Kade. "Very true." His eyes return to the translated copy in front of him once more, his eyes wandering over it once more in case he might have missed something.

[Glyniss_McMasters] "Hea' tel' lo' of differen' cultur' hav' differen' symbo' fer tha'...." shrugging her shoulders " Don' hav' ter be no run' coul' be som' anima' ...bir' or eve' insec'.......jus' a suggestio' "

Kade glances over at Glyniss for a moment, "Its nothing I recognize."

Glyniss_McMasters leans over a little more peering closer to the scroll.....tapping her finger nail at one of the symbols......" Tak' tha' fer instanc'....mea' ter su'....an' tha' ther' is ter symbo' fer ter moo'...."

Flash_Guardian looks thoughtful. "Also true." He thinks hard for a time ... then watches as Glyniss points out the three symbols on the parchment, his eyes lighting up as she does so and quickly catching on. "And that one," he says, pointing to a third symbol, "is cosomas, which refers to a cluster of stars." He grins, tilting his head to look at the picture of the rune at an angle. "You know," he ponders, "I'll bet those symbols are a lot bigger on the real rune. Might even be big enough to stand on."

Kade blinks a bit, "So people represent the sun, moon, and whatever?"

Glyniss_McMasters leans back a little chewing her lip a tad before speaking..." Yer kno' yer goin' on abou' thi' her' bein' abou' ter futur'.....yer sur' it's ou' futur' an' no' som' othe' race' an' thos' sta' an' suc' is wher' the' fro'?" she wrinkles her nose..." Jus' a though' min' yer"

Flash_Guardian nods at Kade. "That may be the solution, yeah." He looks back at the translation for a moment, then at Glyniss ponderously. "It's entirely possible," he says with a shrug. "I guess if that were the case, it would make the time-problem a bit safer ... the history of one world can more freely interact with the future of another, since there aren't as many bonds and similarities."

Kade shakes his head, "Alright, thinking about time lines, and interacting bonds sorta make my head hurt."

Glyniss_McMasters nods " An' ifna yer followin' tha' logi' almos' anythin' goe'....." she smiles " Don' wan' u' jus' flipin' ter som' othe' worl' side' tim' no' do yer"

Flash_Guardian looks apologetically at Kade. "Sorry ... I'm sure it's not everyone's cup 'o tea." He shrugs, scooting the parchment aside for now. "That's enough work on it for today, I should think. We can come up with a more careful plan some other time." He grins back at the other two. "Thanks for the help, again."

Kade nods as he leans back in his chair, "Hey, no problem."

Glyniss_McMasters shrugs her shoulders nodding to them both..." Fin' by me.....some' bette' le' ou' protecto' kno' ter lates' reasonin'...." sighing a little as she stretches her arms and upper torso trying to work out the kinks

Flash_Guardian starts cleaning up their workspace,for lack of anything better to do. "Yeah, Devaine'll want to know," he agrees, rolling his eyes. "It'll probably just send him off on one of his tirades about gravitons and temporal flux, but ... oh well." He sticks the translation, the original scroll, and the History book back into his sack, then places a hand on the sack's side and mutters a few incomnprehensible words. All at once, the sack shrings back to its former tiny size. Flash quickly takes it and ties it back around his belt to hang at his hip once more.

Glyniss_McMasters watches Flash a little as she feels the tenseness slip away from her bones....." Yer goin' bac' ter th' mote' yer kno' ter roo' book' fer ter wee'..."

Flash_Guardian smiles at Glyniss. "Well, if we have the rooms that long, I may as well take advantage," he says happily. "I must admit, it is rather nice to sleep on an actual bed, with a roof over my head every night." He finishes tying and leans an arm on the table casually before looking over at Kade. "You just going to head back toward your camp, I take it?"

Kade nods, "I will be. Glyniss thought I shouldn't be sleeping in a ditch, so I figured I might as well use the tent."

Glyniss_McMasters laughs " Sharin' it wit' som' might' fox' filly I migh' ad''......" chuckling now as she looks at Kade.." Whe' ou' nex' sessio'....?"

Kade grumbles and nudges Glyniss, "Was not.."

Flash_Guardian yawns, twisting his head this way and that, his neck popping as his head moves as far as it will go in either direction. "Well, then," he says, standing and preparing to go. "Thanks for letting us use your lab, Devaine. Hope that analysis goes well for you." At about that moment, Devaine looks between the microscope next to him and the periodic table a few times, eventually grumbling and throwing the periodic table aside and fixing on the microscope.

Kade waves too, to their host as he stands up.

Flash_Guardian looks between Glyniss and Kade with a suspicious grin. "Is that so?" He dismisses the thought with a laugh. "I suppose when next we meet, we can go back to the structure and see about picking up some more clues. Kade, you're welcome to come along as well, if you like."

Kade jerks a thumb towards Glyniss, "Ask her. I seem to be the highered help on occasion."

Glyniss_McMasters tips her stetson to Dev as she limps over to where she left the parcel....swinging it over her shoulder rippling them a little to get it to nestle in between her shoulder blades.....glancing at the others thumb tucked into her belt..." Oka' wagon' rol'..." turning around as she heads on out...pausing at the door..."Yer tw' slo' coache' mosin' alon' to or yer pla' on pitchin; righ' her'?"

Kade laughs, "I'm comin' I'm comin'."

Flash_Guardian grins and trots out after the pair.
