Jin-Saotome tucks his hands in his pockets and looks around, letting out a whistle. "Niiiiiice place."

Aiza asks Jin, "Why did you call me your Guardian Angel?"

Devaine_Hawk walks back into the wrecked office, it had to still be a mess from the night before. Looking to the couch for Flash, and walking to the wall to reveal a hidden door that leads to a hidden larger room , he checks for Lydia the drone .

[Flash_Guardian] Bida's amethyst pendant is glowing once more.

Bida walks to Aiza's side and looks at her to see her eyes.

Bida notices her Amethyst and looks around again, Devain's diamonds still in her hand.

Aiza 's eyes are their normal brown color.

Flash_Guardian and a floating mechanical drone quickly burst into the 4th floor suite (they used the stairs and missed Devaine).

Jin-Saotome shrugs a bit and says, "Well here you come, swooping down and saving my hide from being killed or worse... Out of nowhere mind you. Things don't just happen by accident, you were there for that particular reason, at that particular moment. You're my Guardian Angel."

Jin-Saotome gives Aiza a wink. "Everyone has a purpose... some just don't know it right away."

Aiza opens her mouth to argue, then closes it. She shakes her head, then says, "I was in that alley looking for something. I'm not a normal angel. I'm more likely to kill someone than save them, you just got lucky."

Flash_Guardian turns and looks between everyone in the room ... he has a matching amethyst pendant that is also glowing. His eyes take in Jin, Aiza, and finally come to rest on Bida, looking at her pendant in curious awe. "Hey ... that's like mine," he says, pointing.

Bida nudges her sister in the side with her elbow, "Guardian angel?"

Jin-Saotome whips around to see the Drone and Flash burst onto the scene and drops into a defensive stance! "Holy **** it's a frigging Metroid!" Jin yells, his eyes widening a bit in amazement.

Devaine_Hawk walks out of the lab back into the office, and holds out his hand to Bida for the diamonds , before turning to Glyniss “now where in the hell could Flash and Lydia got to , “he asks . Some might notice that the sparks in his eyes have calmed down , but they are still there .

Jin-Saotome 's there, yep.

Bida smiles at Flash, "Hi!" She runs to and hugs him

[Flash_Guardian] The drone orients on Jin, and a female alto voice seems to come from it. "A frigging what?"

Aiza rolls her eyes both at Bida calling her a Guardian angel, then turns away with a strange experssion on her face as Bida hugs Flash.

Glyniss_McMasters limps behind the others....slower in her pace as she knew where they were going...looking around the wrecked place as she leans against the door frame a little uncertain about coming in.....shrruging her shoulder'" No ide' lef' hi' asleepin' las' nigh'"

Flash_Guardian seems very surprised by the hug, but he doesn't argue. "Ummm ... ... ... hi," he says, bewildered, but happy.

Jin-Saotome blinks once and says, "Alright, maybe not... Nothing, nothing." Jin turns back to everyone else and leans against the desk with his arms crossed now. "So we're all alive, that's good news. Of course now I'm stuck here for a while until things calm down. This is Hawk's office?"

Bida looks at Flash and takes a step back, "Flash? What's wrong? It's me, Bida. . . What. . . " She looked at the drone.

Aiza stretches and re-closes her wings. She looks at Flash, surprised by his apparent loss of memory.

Flash_Guardian looks into Bida's face ... his look is curious, and bears no recognition. "Bida?"

Devaine_Hawk shoves the gems back in a pocket, after Bida gives them back, if she does , and speaks up “Jester did something to Flash’s mind , he’s getting better slowly , that’s the first time he spoke “

Bida 's mouth opens in surprise, her eyes beginning to well up. She blinks them away, "After all the hell we have been through, you cannot remember?"

[Flash_Guardian] The drone quickly pipes up with a voice that is surprising stern in its sweetness, and sounds as if it's being broadcast over AM radio. "What the hell was going on? You all had Flash and I worried sick! You don't even want to know what I picked up over the police scanners!"

Jin-Saotome taps his right temple and concentrates, checking the status of the Blodia. All is well and accounted for. He relaxes a bit and walks over next to Aiza, running his fingers up across the top of her wings idly as he listens to everyone.

Devaine_Hawk looks to the drone , "we didn't have Flash ..."

Aiza begins laughing. When she calms down, she says, "Bida's lover lost her memory to a joker, and we're being scolded by a robot. That's funny."

Glyniss_McMasters watches Flash curiously...only side glancing to Dev before her attention settles back on Flash....when she had left he had still been sleeping like a babe..

Aiza shudders at the feeling of fingers on her wings, but does nothing about it.

Flash_Guardian blinks at Bida, still holding her uncertainly. "I ... I'm sorry ... I mean no offense, I just ..." He looks around at everyone. "I don't remember any of you." He looks down at the floor forlornly. "I don't remember anything."

Jin-Saotome 's probably the only one who finds the true irony of this, usually scolding his robot for stepping on things and knocking over trees.

Bida snarls, "That's not funny, Aiza. It's not."

Aiza stops smiling, her face expressionless, "That may be best with me, Flash, but you better remember Bida in a hurry. She already misses you."

Devaine_Hawk starts toward the door to the hall , “Glyniss , you can fill everyone in , I need to get to the lab and finish Lucy , the day is still young , I’ve only been shot once, and I still have a demigod to kill “

Bida leans against a wall and slides to the floor. She crosses her legs, her black dress wrapped around her, and looks at Flash, "What did he do to you?"

[Flash_Guardian] The drone speaks up again. "Well, somebody needs to start explaining ..."

Glyniss_McMasters blinks pushing herself off the doorframe..." Hol' i' buste' yer do ter fillin' in I ain' sur' I' aup ter dat'" her hand coming up to stop any protecst forthcoming

Jin-Saotome says, "Riiiight..." and follows Hawk towards the Lab. "What are we working on again? Lucy?"

Aiza says sarcastically to the drone, "Well, lets see, I walk into an alley where some aquaintances of mine are, then gunfire starts, Devaine gets knocked out, I rescue Jin's ass, most of us end up shot, and now we're all here."

Aiza shrugs and follows Jin and Devaine.

Flash_Guardian is still standing, watching Bida slide down the wall to her seat. He looks out among the other people in the room ... then eventually finds a seat next to Bida. "What did who do? Were we friends? I mean ... I think we must have been friends ... weren't we?" He looks into Bida's face, hungry for information.

Bida says, "Jester, Manical Jeater. We were more than friends. From lifetimes ago. What can I do to help you remember?"

Devaine_Hawk walks down the hall toward the elevator , calling over his shoulder “Jester attacked Flash with a commuter virus while we were out at the ship, he erased his mind or something , and now I’m going to kill Jester to pay him back, “ he stops at the door to the lift , “that’s the short version , I’ll leave the lab door open if you all need me , “ he finishes , stepping onto the

Jin-Saotome pipes up from the hallway following Hawk, "Hey I didn't get shot... wait..." He pats around on his flightsuit for a moment and finds two bullet holes, one in the side and one in the right leg. "Dammit... nevermind." Jin picks the lead slugs out of the strange material and flicks them into a planter nearby.

AyakoSaoriSouma steps up to the office door and slowly opened it. She wondered what this guy did and if maybe he could help her. Her short puple hair was down and her bangs dangling in her big sad purple eyes. She wore a tight short sleeve purple belly shirt, jean pants, black belt, and white sneakers. She wore a necklace which seemed to fir her perfectly. She looked aorund wondering once again what it was that was specialized here.

Bida calls to Devaine, "What if killing Jester makes it permanent?"

Aiza looks at Jin, "you were shot, but not hurt?"

Devaine_Hawk steps off the elevator to find a woman standing in front of his office door . “can I help you miss ?” he calls sown the hall way .

Glyniss_McMasters chuckles softly seeing as most of those here are right behind Dev like little lost lambs....tails wagging madlyu

[Flash_Guardian] The drone speaks again. "So that's what happened ... and I missed out on all of it. *grumbles*"

Jin-Saotome turns to Aiza and shrugs slightly saying, "Just bruised really, someone was using a high caliber rifle, that's not playing fair. Thank god I wasn't wearing my street clothes eh?" Jin pokes his finger in the holes of the flightsuit and prod the fabric back together. "You're not hurt are you?"

Devaine_Hawk looks to the woman ,and smiles .”I got more cases than I know what to do with right now ,” he nods to the small mob following him , “maybe you can come back later if I’m not dead or worse “

Aiza shrugs. She had been shot in the ankle, and bleeding, but it seems to have stopped, mostly. She looked at the ground to see if she left any black stains.

Jin-Saotome 's following Hawk, with Aiza following him. He waits for Hawk to finish with the new client at the door and converses with Aiza.

Flash_Guardian just shrugs at Bida. "I don't know," he says morosely. "I wish I could remember it all, I really do. Lydia's told me lots of stuff, but a lot of it just doesn't make sense."

Jin-Saotome looks down to meet his gaze to where Aiza is looking and notices her ankle. "Agh, you've been hit... Well we shall have to do something about that." Jin heads into Hawk's lab to track down the First Aid kit. Upon finding it he sits down at the nearest stool and motions for Aiza.

Aiza smiles, and shakes her head, "That won't make any difference. I'll be ok by noon tomorrow. I think."

Bida says, "I guess we're kinda in the same boat. But I remember more than you now."

Jin-Saotome raises an eyebrow and says, "You think? C'mere and at least let me bandage it up, we wouldn't want anyone slipping on blood or anything."

[Flash_Guardian] The drone quickly scans for Devaine. Finding him, it quickly zips through the air, dodging people to get to him. "Are you going back now?" it asks him.

Glyniss_McMasters glances at those following Dev before glancing over to Flash and Bida turning she begins limping off...the clicking of metal rubbing metal following in her wake slipping off into another room alone

AyakoSaoriSouma looked up at Devaine with a soft smile. She then lowered her gaze and spoke softly. "Thats the thing... I don't think I'll be alive either. Could you please tell me what kind of business this is?" She seemed so sad and empty and you could definately tell by this young girl's voice she had lost all she had and is now lost in her ways. She also seemed as though she was more scared than anything.

Aiza laughs, but allows Jin to bandage her ankle. She hopes her black blood doesn't creep him out, leek through the bandages, and hasn't dripped on Devaine's floor.

Flash_Guardian takes hold of Bida's hand desperately. "Then tell me ... who am I? Please ..."

Devaine_Hawk grimaces as he speaks to the woman , leading everyone into his lab ,and settles down at a work bench with a futuristic rifle laying on it “ I hate to turn away what might be a paying customer , those diamonds cleaned my accounts out .“ he thinks He pulls the diamonds from his pocket and places them next to the rifle weapon . “I’m a Private Investigator, problem solver , I guess would describe me pretty well, “ he tells Ayako. He turns to the drone “as soon as I finish Lucy here , I’m gone “

[Flash_Guardian] The drone informs Devaine, "Then I'm going with you."

Glyniss_McMasters hopes she finds a room once closing the door behind her if she cant find a key to lock it she'd pull a peice of furniture across the entrance stopping any surprised intrudition.....sighing once thats done'

Jin-Saotome bandages Aiza up with the speed and accuracy of a field medic... which apparently is a skill he was required to learn at the Academy. He applies some salve, reading the package to see if it's Angel-compatible or not. "Hmmm... doesn't mention anything about otherworldy uses, but does say it provides "soothing relief of wounds". I have to take care of my Guardian Angel, ya know? Next I have to buy you dinner. You do eat don't you?"

AyakoSaoriSouma brought her gaze down wondering if he would be able to find out what she needed. She nodded to him but said nothing more, she didn't wish to get into it unless she was paying him. She looked at the rifle for a moment which sent shivers up her spine.

Aiza laughs again, she is very amused by Jin. "I do eat, I am alive, in a sense."

Flash_Guardian continues to stare into Bida's eyes pleadingly.

Bida looks into Flash's eyes, and says, "You are an Avatar, for Lord Chen."

[Devaine_Hawk] Lucy, the weapon on the table is an odd sight as he works on it while conversing with the various people in the room. It resembles a sniper rifle to an extent ,with few noticeable differences which follow . The barrel ends not in a typical muzzle opening , but a small three pronged claw designed to grip something . On each side of the shoulder stock is a small black square box , the one on the right being a portable soar pack , and the one on the left of the shoulder rest being a broad ban analyzer and molecular disrupter unit with a built in nanotech hard drive for memory and information . It has a small indention which is empty now . On top of the rifle is a 3500 IRTH sight with the lenses removed from the tube .

Flash_Guardian blinks, repeating the words to himself. "Lord ... Chen ..." He continues to look confused.

Jin-Saotome smiles back and winks saying, "Good, I hope you like Italian. I hear they don't have it in Heaven, but they do serve it in Hell." Jin rummages around in Hawk's lab checking out small devices and tools. He picks up a plasma torch and begins to weld at the fabric of his flightsuit, applying extra patching to the material. The electrical current arcs over the suit's damaged section and jolts the surface back together again. Jin tinkers with his wrist armor and watches Hawk as he works on the nifty-looking rifle.

Bida explains, "a time lord, so to speak. We knew eachother so long ago, when we were both mortal. Then I died, followed shortly by you. You became a time lord immidiately, while I became an angel. I. . ." she took a deep breath and swallowed hard, "I tried to kill you, several times." She looked at him, her eyes wide, "I'm not trying to kill you now, that's long over."

Devaine_Hawk looks around the room as he picks up a small welder and places the first diamond in the claw on the end of the barrel and starts to place it there ,”but by all means tell me what I can do for you, and if this demigod that I’m hunting doesn’t kill me, I’ll try to help” he tells Ayko.

[Flash_Guardian] The drone, seeing that everyone else around is occupied, turns its attentions on Jin and his flightsuit, the scanning dish atop its head probing him up and down. Next, she quietly scans Aiza in a similar fashion. "Whoa!" she cries out suddenly. "You're really radiating ... something. Some kind of energy. And that is one impressive suit!"

Aiza looks at the drone, then points to herself, "are you talking to me?" She was focused on. . . something else

AyakoSaoriSouma leans against the wall as she crosses her arms over her chest. She sighs softly. "This... I don't know what he is... but he is after me and I think it might have something to do with my dead parents." She looks down as tears form in her eyes remembering that day. "I think he may be the one whom killed my parents." She looked from side to side very worried about him popping up out of no where.

Devaine_Hawk reaches for the second diamond as soon as he’s got the first in place listening to her response , “Jin , hit all the clubs and bars earlier looking for your friend Terri, but no luck so far, Club Heaven was closed .”

Jin-Saotome points over at Hawk's welding and says, "Don't forget to allow for structual flux between the gem and the metal, you'll probably want some kind of heat inductor behind it when you attach it. Unless you intend on using zero-G bimetrical allignment."

Flash_Guardian wrinkles his forehead, and shakes his head, clearly not able to take it in all at once. "I'm a time lord? And I work for Chen, and ... you tried to kill me, but you aren't anymore?" He seems really startled by that last bit of information, pulling away from Bida slightly.

[Flash_Guardian] The drone orients on Aiza. "Yes, you. You're a ... a ... what'd Gregoran call 'em?" The drone's eyes flicker for a moment. "Oh yeah! An angel! ... right?"

Jin-Saotome spins the tool he's currntly using around in his fingers as he tightens the bolts on his shoulder-spikes, continuing on saying, "Or you could always use some Carbonadium in the clasp. That would work just as well. Speaking of which, you wouldn't happen to have any of that stuff laying around would you? I bought some at the *ahem* market back there, but curcumstances left me without it."

Bida shakes her head, "It's a long story, but it's over. I had a boss who wanted you dead, for a game of his. It was before I really knew, and loved, you. Your name is Jaimin."

Aiza says, "yes, sort of. I'm half angel. This is what I look like for now. Hopefully forever If I can find what I was looking for in the market. Which is now blown to bits. . ."

Jin-Saotome nods to Hawk and says, "Thanks for checking it out for me. Seems she's ok, but Janus is missing, which is the real problem now."

Flash_Guardian blinks, saying the name once to himself. "Jaimin." He brings a hand up to brush his fingertips against his chest, and ends up touching his pendant. His pendant and Bida's both light up with that same purple glow.

Devaine_Hawk looks to her and tries to smile “your safe here, what do you want me to do , protect you or try to stop him , I’m not a hired gun I don’t kill just anyone “ he tells the girl , before turning to Jin , “used a titanium/aluminum alloy , for the heat conductor, and the rifle is made out of steel /lightened the weight using cross gravitational waves on the metal while it way being molded do the structural integrity is not an issue “

Jin-Saotome corrects the drone and says, "She's my Guardian Angel actually. Scooped me up outta harms way just earlier." Jin motions to Aiza and says, "Ah yes.. what were you looking for out there anyway?"

Bida nods, then smiles at the pendants glowing.

Aiza shakes her head, "just. . . a pendant. It probably wasn't there anyway. It's no big deal."

[Flash_Guardian] The drone seems to scoff at Jin. "Guardian angel? I heard those were just fairy tales."

AyakoSaoriSouma shook her head at both of his questions. "All I want is for someone to find out if my parents were murdered by this man, or if this man is after me because of my parents." She hated blood shed and wasn't about to hire someone to do something she is completely against. All she wanted was someone to find out the truth for her. "I only seek for the truth, no death."

Devaine_Hawk narrows his eyes at Jin “would that be the same Janus who is a member of a certain ..exclusive group, including LoX among others ?”

Jin-Saotome nods to Hawk understandingly and says, "As long as the gems, or diamonds are pure enough not to cause any resistance, that might work. Titanium tho? You still use that? Hell, just wait a couple of hundred years till your science boys figure out dense-matter-compression and apply it to ferrous metals. Heh."

Aiza says, "actually, long ago, gods remember when, I was a guardian angel. Then I killed a few people, and was changed into a demon. For a long time. A very long time."

Flash_Guardian 's eyes suddenly light up. He looks right at the angel next to him. "Bida ..."

Jin-Saotome makes the 'dunno' motion with his hands and says to Hawk, "Use to call himself Revnant Janus or something. He disappeared to fight some sort of war according to Terri. You know him?"

Bida sits up straight, nodding "yes."

Devaine_Hawk pulls a business card with the office number , his cell phone and a pager number as well as the adress on it , “just in case he comes after you , “ he tells her “I get a hundred a day , plus expenses when I work a case, but I’m getting behind , so it might be a while before can start .” he tells her

Jin-Saotome adds in that he does indeed know LoX and Lani.

Aiza pulls her white hair back into a pony-tail, revealing the small black unicorn horn in the center of her forehead, and ties her hair with a strip of cloth from her bag.

Jin-Saotome spins around and clenches his fists, feeling quite 'complete' now with his suit repaired. He gets a grin of satisfaction on his face and then turns to Aiza saying, "So... how about that dinner, eh?"

Devaine_Hawk looks back to Jin as he places the second diamond in the sight’s tube where the lenses would usually be , “LoX mentioned a Janus last time I talked to him , maybe he’s the same one , but a lot of people are turning up missing around here lately, there might be a connection.”

[Flash_Guardian] The drone just rotates to one side, tilting its proverbial 'head' at Aiza. A thought comes to her, and she searches the area, her scanning dish turning full circle. At last, she finds what she's looking for, leaning forward and hovering slowly out of the lab, through the office, and out into the hallway, stopping just outside a particular door. Its sensors were picking up life-signs behind it ... it had to be Glyniss. It reaches up one of many mechanical tool arms, and raps on the door mechanically.

Aiza says, "you said italian, huh? only in hell? I've been there, a few times. The food there is awful." She smiles widely

Jin-Saotome thumbs behind him and says, "Well there and down the street about two blocks. Or I could cook you up something, although I didn't take any mess-hall duties in the Academy so I'm not a chef."

Glyniss_McMasters notes that somewhere in the building comes the soft lilting tune of " Its by far the hardest thing Ive ever done....to be sooo in love with you and sooo alone....Folloow me where I go what I do and who I know......ooh Make it a part of you to be a part of me...Follow me up and down alll the way and all around..Yesss take my hand and follow me" the soft voice dipping and rising as the song lifts its gentle notes the voice litling and swirling keeping the words high" It's long been on my mind ..You know its been a long...ooh soo long time...Ive tried to find the way that I can make you understand....The way I feel about you and just how muchh I neeed you...Tooo be there when I can talk to you...Yes...when theres no one else around her voice stopping as she takes a breathe to continue

Aiza laughs, "You amuse me! You remind me so much of. . . "she stops smiling, "Of someone." She forces a smile, "I can't cook either, other than toast, and that I have a tendancy to burn."

Jin-Saotome nods to Hawk, then waves to Ayako.

Jin-Saotome just chuckles and says, "Well at least amusing is better than annoying. An Angel like yourself I'd figure would be pretty disconnected to us petty mortals. You seem to have your 'feet on the ground' tho."

[Flash_Guardian] The drone raps metallically on Glyniss's door once more.

Devaine_Hawk picks the finished rifle up off the table , and turns around in a circle , adjusting some controls on the solar power pack then the analyzer , watching as the diamond in the sight catches the light waves off the people in the room, and sends the information to the hard drive in the analyzer on the side of the shoulder rest. “it’s working , I just filed each of your energy fields signatures and the analyzers giving me the frequencies to disrupt the different energy fields “

Aiza says "hm. feet on the ground. that's a new one on me. I've always been told I had my head in the clouds."

Flash_Guardian just stares at Bida, looking into her eyes. "I feel ... I almost feel ..." The glow between Flash's and Bida's pendants seems to grow brighter, its bright light enveloping the two, clearly seen by those outside the office. And somewhere amidst it all, their spirits touch ...

Bida watches Flash, hoping that she can help him to remember.

Glyniss_McMasters almost lazy voice carries the words once more resounding outwards..." Follow me where I go what I do and who I know.....oooh make it a part of you to be a part of me....Follow me up and down all the way and all around...Yes take my hand and say you'll follow me.....You see I'd like to share my life with you...And show you things Ive seen...Places that I'm going to places where Ive been ....ooh to have you there beside me and never alone.....And all the time your with me...we will be home"

[Flash_Guardian whispers to Bida] Bida hears Flash's thoughts in her mind ... 'I should know you ... I know I should ... every fiber of my being tells me that I should ...'

Jin-Saotome notes if Devaine scanned him with that.... well the energy signature would unlike anything he's seen before. A neverending cumulative curve that's catalyst is so simple it's a wonder Jin is alive at all.

Devaine_Hawk straps the rifle across his back and turns to face the room , “well wish me luck , got a clown to fry , “ he laughs as he looks for the drone , “where the hell did Lydia go ?’ he asks

Bida 's eyes light up as she can feel Flash trying, she can see it in his eyes and hear it in his thoughts and in his heart.

Jin-Saotome thumbs up to Hawk and says, "Best of luck to you. Look both ways before firing that thing."

Glyniss_McMasters behind her door noise of something being pulled and pushed is heard before the door opens a crack as she peers out..." Er.....howdy Lydia......wha' wron'?"

Aiza says, "Blast the clown once for me!" and smiles.

Glyniss_McMasters obvoiusly having stoped singing the words hanging in the air momentrily before melting like snow

Jin-Saotome tugs at Aiza's armor and says, "I'm starving, let's hit the restaraunt. Or your place, if you have a stove and an oven."

[Flash_Guardian] The drone just peers up at Glyniss, her voice soft as it sounds over the drone's speaker. "Umm ... hi. Can I ... do you want someone to ..." Lydia seems awkward. "Can I come in?"

Aiza 's face falls, "I don't have a place anymore, but I'm sure I can chase someone out of their's" she puts her hand on her sword hilt, smiling.

[Flash_Guardian] Glyniss's words swirl around the pair of lovers seated next to each other in the office, and the light seems to grow ever brighter.

[Flash_Guardian whispers to Bida] 'What is this feeling I feel? It's as if my heart is trying to tell me something ... Bida?'

Jin-Saotome holds up a finger and says, "Ah-ah-ah, we'll just hit the restaraunt. Not literally either!"

Devaine_Hawk walks out in the office , rolls his eyes at the pair and continues on down the hall looking for the drone , following the sounds of knocking and singing to the room Glyniss is in .

Glyniss_McMasters rises a brow not sure what the droid wants....but limps back...widening the gape for the machine to enter the room she's in..." Geez don' tel' me Dev' is agettin' inter troubl' agai'"

Aiza says, "I was joking."

Bida smiles even wider, "Flash, try. try to remember."

Jin-Saotome bows to Flash and Bida saying, "Good luck on the memory thing... I can imagine how much of a pain that is." He pat-pats the drone on its dome and says, "And no War-of-the-Worlds stuff for you. Stay outta trouble."

[Flash_Guardian] The drone looks over as Devaine approaches, Lucy slung over his back and geared up for trouble. It actually hovers back to look between Glyniss and Devaine, waiting to see what the result of their meeting would be.

Devaine_Hawk walks up behind the drone and raps on it, “can we focus , Lucy is ready and so am I , lets go “

[Flash_Guardian] The top of the drone goes clunk clunk, and the drone buzzes annoyedly at Jin, following him with its eyes as he leaves.

Jin-Saotome strolls past Hawk and Glyniss, waving to them. "I'm going to sneak out to get something to eat, I'll be back." Jin motions for Aiza as he ducks out the door.

[Flash_Guardian] The drone buzzes even louder at Devaine! "Hey! Do I look like a frickin' drum to you guys?!"

Glyniss_McMasters blinks as if right on que he suddenly appears...." Ohh.....no' han' on I' acomin' to...." nodding to Lydia as she limps out sending her thanks to it

Bida looks at Aiza, her eyes narrowed slightly and one eyebrow raised.

Aiza gives Bida the finger, then follows Jin out the door.

Flash_Guardian snaps out of his trance, the purplish glow fading as Bida breaks eye contact for a moment. He looks away, shaking his head and trying to sort something out.

Devaine_Hawk crosses his arms on his chest and taps the toe of one chrome tipped boot against the floor as the flashes rise in his eyes again “tap..tap.tap.. “lets go “

Bida sits back slightly, and looks at Flash. She prayed to the gods he would remember, at least a little.

[Flash_Guardian] The drone just looks up at Devaine, then looks away, floating over to the elevators. "Fine," Lydia grumps. "No need to be pushy."

Glyniss_McMasters lets the door swing shut as she limps along beside Dev " Com' on Lydia yer kno' yer ain' gonn' ge' an' peac' ter hi' ha' hi' go"

Devaine_Hawk stops to look in the office door on his way to the elevator “we’ll be back …maybe “

Flash_Guardian looks back up at Bida, squinting as he thinks hard, a slight smile on his face. "You ... are ... somebody ... very important to me," he manages to say.

Flash_Guardian turns to look back at Devaine as best he can. "What? Where are you going now?"

Bida replies, "and you are important to me."

Devaine_Hawk pats the rifle on his back and grins to Flash “to kill me a clown buddy , you stay here and work on that memory “

Flash_Guardian pouts and protests, quickly rising to his feet. "I wanna go too," he says stubbornly.

Bida says to Devaine, "Be careful. You're one of his friends, and no doubt one of the reasons he's not dead because of the Jester."

Glyniss_McMasters leans against the nearest wall arms folded as she waits for Dev...looking from him to the others..

Bida turns to Flash, "I think it's best if you stay here. You never know what Jester will do."

[Flash_Guardian] The drone looks over at Glyniss, then back to the others.

Devaine_Hawk shakes his head at Flash , “not a good idea , ti’s dangerous , best you stay here and rest , let me handle it “

Flash_Guardian just becomes even more outspoken, face wrinkling in protest. "But I don't want to stay here by myself! It's boring! I'll be okay, I promise!"

Bida says, "I'll probably stay."

Glyniss_McMasters speaks quietly trying to reassure Flash..." H' ain' agoin' alon' me an' Lyndia ar' agoin ter bac' hi' up"

Devaine_Hawk looks to Flash and grins “there’s root beer in the fridge back in he pent house “ he bribes .

[Flash_Guardian] The drone hovers away from the elevator a little and calls back to Bida. "You're an angel too, right? Like the other woman?" she asks. "If Jester is really a demi-god, don't you think it might be good to have someone religious with us?" Flash, hearing that, shoots back at the group. "Yeah, see? I'm a time lord, and I work for a time lord! I can help you! Please, just let me go?" Flash appears very, very upset ... and hurt.

Bida shakes her head, "I'm not dealing with Jester. I refuse to. He could kick my ass from here to the moon before I blinked."

Devaine_Hawk speaks up again , “here’s an idea , one of you zap me out there, and you all stay here “

Bida pleads with Flash, "Please, stay here. I don't want you to get hurt."

[Glyniss_McMasters] "Ferge' it Dev...I ain' lettin' yer ou' alon' yer a meanc'....sooo no dea'"

Flash_Guardian turns to look back at Bida with that same look of angry protest ... but it quickly melts into one of hurt and confusion. "Bida ... my heart tells me that I should go," he tells her quietly, shaking his head. "I don't know why, but I really feel that wherever they're going is wherever I need to be."

Devaine_Hawk stands staring into pace as he waits on the others to debate it out with Flash . “ it would be for the best , if it all goes wrong I can set Lucy’s self destruct and take the whole place with me, along with the clown , but not if they come ‘ he thinks

[Flash_Guardian] The drone pipes up with her own brand of statistical reasoning. "Probability indicates that our chances will be better with each person that accompanies you, Devaine," she reasons. "And besides, what makes you so sure that Jester will be back aboard the Triad waiting for you?"

Bida closes her mouth and looks at the ground, "I just. . ." She sighs and looks at Devaine, "He may be of some help, as I may, but I just. . . I don't. . . With Jester. . ." she says and gestures helplessly.

Devaine_Hawk lights a smoke , and hangs his head , “because it’s what I would do if I wanted to set a trap, he knows we’ll be back to finish this , and he’ll be waiting “ and then looks to Bida “I won’t ask anyone to come , I’ve had …glimpses and someone don’t make it out if it’s just me and him at least I know you all are out of harms way …”

Flash_Guardian looks at the floor dejectedly. "It's alright," he mopes, turning away from Bida. "Go ahead and go. They're right. I won't be of any use to you. Not like this." He looks back to Bida. "But you ... you can help them, I'm sure. You should go."

Bida says, "I'm not going. I'm staying with you Flash."

Flash_Guardian would argue ... but, truth be told, he would enjoy Bida's company. His face shows as much. He grins a little and is silent.

Glyniss_McMasters really feels like poking Dev hard....his a stubborn mule headed mancho male.....

[Flash_Guardian] The drone looks between Devaine and Glyniss. "Okay, so it's just us three, then. Let's go." She reaches out and presses the down button with a tool-arm.

Glyniss_McMasters nods.....and watche's Dev appraoch to the lift...a slow smile appearing

Devaine_Hawk walks into the elevator and glances at Glyniss , “what ?” he ask seeing the smile .

[Flash_Guardian] The drone also hovers into the elevator, pressing the button for ground floor.

Glyniss_McMasters shakes her head a hand rising to flick back the brim of her battered stetson...." Aw shoo' nothin' jus' admirin' tha' cut' ars' of yern" as she limps into the lift metal clicking following

Bida reaches into her pocket and draws out a small red bead, thinking that maybe she can use that to help Flash.

[Flash_Guardian] Hearing Glyniss's comment, the drone catcalls at Devaine once more.

Devaine_Hawk smirks and dramatically bends over , tying laces that his boots don’t have , “take a good long look , it may be the last you get “

Glyniss_McMasters chuckles leaning back and doing just that....taking a veryyyyy loooong goood look

Flash_Guardian seems very depressed, but looks up at Bida's translucent reddish bead, seeing the energy crackling deep within it.

Devaine_Hawk flips a switch on the guns power pack . Someone with exceptional hearing would note an almost sub harmonic hum as the weapons systems go online .

Devaine_Hawk shakes his head and grins “if I bite the dust out there that’s what you all will put on my tombstone, here lies Devaine …nice ass ?”

Glyniss_McMasters grins and winks" Sur' thin' bu'......nic' peic' ter"

Devaine_Hawk shrugs and laughs “just burry me upside down so everyone can just kiss it !”
