Flash_Guardian seems to be completely lost in his work at the moment, which currently involves poring over his blueprints it seems. He is seated upon one of the many makeshift chairs, little more than a flat cylindrical cross-section of log, with the plans in his lap and a quill twirling idly in his fingers.
Flash_Guardian is simply sitting there, staring blankly at the blueprints, seemingly oblivious to his surroundings at the moment. The quill in his right hand swirls this way and that, directed by Flash's nimble fingers in random seeming patterns. His other hand is clutching something at his chest.
Glyniss_McMasters rolls over waking up at the same time as in the past few days she had found somewhere to park herself for the night and slept....thankful really that the weather had held out at least she isnt getting wet at present...chuckling to herself as she sits up and stretches...reaching for her brace as she proceeds to attach it around the lower part of her leg...slipping into place around her leg and under her foot a little...tugging a little at the straps as she does them up...humming softly..
Alison yawns as she has just woken up in her home in east tower she had become fond of this place and flys over the tops looking around for life on the Island not beliving she is finally revisting a plaace
Flash_Guardian just ... stares. At his blueprints. Not moving or making a sound as he sits upon a cut piece of tree, using it as a makeshift chair. His eyes seem to have almost completely glazed over. The large airship seen yesterday, the Triad, has moved back to its previous location, hovering near the beach on the eastern side of the island, just above the waves.
Glyniss_McMasters finely finishes attaching the brace...twisting her body around and using the close by tree she begins pushing herself up til she's standing......sweeping up her stetson and looking about as she slaps said item onto her mope of hair...licking her lips she stares off towards where she knew where the camp was...wondering what activities was going on there...head down hands stuffed in pockets she limps towards said place
Alison seeing Mr Flash on her trip round the Island landed rather quickly and her wings safly tuncked away she walked up to him cheerfully "hi there wacher doing" she asked tilting her head a little
Flash_Guardian whips his head up, startled, and looks around, his suddenly alert gaze eventually settling on the young angel from yesterday. "Oh," he says, relaxing once more and actually smiling at the white-winged girl. "You're back. Hello, again." The quill in Flash's hand stops twirling through his fingers, now held in Flash's right hand firmly. His left hand still seems to be holding onto the base of his amulet. "I was, uhh ... just looking over these blueprints, deciding what needs to be done next." Flash blinks a couple of times, looking to Alison curiously. "Would you like to see?"
Alison nodded rather exsiteble now "yup yup" she giggled a little starting him and wondering what he needed blueprints for "umm what are you makeing on this iland a theme park" her eyes lit up at that though and she giggled eragily now
Glyniss_McMasters doesnt take long to get near the camp site and as is her usual practise she stops and shouts out " Ye' ter cam' anyon' hom'?"
Flash_Guardian chuckles, shaking his head lightly. "My friends and I have been building a dojo," Flash explains, quickly turning and calling back to Glyniss. "I'M NOT HERE!" he calls with a big grin on his face before turning back to the angel girl, standing and spreading his blueprints out over a nearby stack of wood for her to look at. "I suspect the dojo should be finished within the next week or two, at the rate we've been going." ((The blueprints, incidentally, can be seen at http://www.geocities.com/flashguardian/keeplogs/FlashDojo.html ))
Glyniss_McMasters steps out of the bushes into the open as soon as she's shouted glancing about the place as she does so...smiling as she sees the emm...angel....nodding a hand going to the brim of her stetson as she lifts it a little in the girl's direction " Howdy girli'..." laughing at Flash..." Howdy partne'"
Alison eyes looking at the blueprints "ummm Mr Flash why make a dojo on an island that kinda silly" she carried on looking at the map she then jumped in shock as she trued around "hello miss who likes Mr dev" she giggled a little more she felt so happy on this island
Flash_Guardian nods to Glyniss in greeting, then turns to raise an eyebrow at Alison. "Well, why not? Right here on this island is as good a place as any to build a dojo. Besides, I like it here. The tall trees, the sandy beaches, the sound of the surf rolling in ... I mean, this place could be paradise." Flash smiles now, thinking of the possibilities. As the girl addresses Glyniss, that distant look takes on more of a smug grin, looking over at Glyniss interestedly.
Glyniss_McMasters rises a brow at Alison.....emm oooh yeah she was there yesterday......chuckles " Shoo' cos I do ...don' yer girlie'?"
Alison giggles now and keeps her mouth closed she thinks more about the dojo and then it hits her "well since i would like to hang around this place i can fly and im really hard working and i love this place so much it the only place i do love" she smiles hopefully to Mr Flash and puts her cute little innocent girl face to help her along
Flash_Guardian shakes his head, turning his thoughts away from Glyniss and her love life back to the cute-faced angel girl. Flash thinks he has an idea what she's trying to say, so he asks her, looking at Alison with his head turned slightly to one side and a slight smile on his face, "Are you offering to help me ... in exchange for being able to come and hang out around here?"
Glyniss_McMasters side glances to Flash ....blushing just a tad before muttering something...." Errr....jus' rememebre' go' ter do somethin'...I'l catc' yer tw' late' oka'..." turning she begins limping off to where she disappeared to yesterday..
Alison shakes her head "nopes i want to be doing somthing now i dont got holy knight traing my life is borrringgg and this sounds soo fun and i want to help out giggle if i wanted to i could stay here anyway im the fastest natural born flyer here" she looked rather proud of her self about this and giggled as the lady ran off
Flash_Guardian frowns as Glyniss walks off, watching her go for a moment before turning back to Alison, raising another eyebrow at her. "You're the only natural born flyer here," he flatly states, unable to help a small chuckle. "Anyway, the simple fact is this ... if you want to help me build the dojo, that's fine by me. I haven't turned down an able hand yet, and I don't plan to until this place is finished." Flash looks down at Alison now, appraising her. She certainly looks young for an angel, still developing into what will certainly be a figure of divine strength and health. "Can you use a hammer alright?" he asks her.
Alison nods her head happly "of couse in the temple where we trained they humbled us by makeing us all do the matince work in there so a simple hammer is easy just umm dont give me a glue gun" she cringe at the thought of what she did with one of them she then looked at Mr Flash "is Mr Dev working here to" she asked hopefully as to her he was a hero
Flash_Guardian nods to Alison happily, seeming to take on an almost child-like spirit himself as he continues to speak with the girl. "Devaine has been working on this place a lot, so it wouldn't surprise me if he's here now." Flash turns now, heading in the direction of a few stacks of wooden frames nearby where pieces of wood have already been joined together in massives conglomerations of wood and metal. "Why are you so curious about Dev all of a sudden?" he asks the girl from over his shoulder.
Alison smiles "hes my protector he told me he would never let harm come to me and last night told me a story and then when mr funny clown face wanted to do an exsperemet about boling angel skin thats mr cannon mr Dev made him leave me alone"
Flash_Guardian listens to all of this with wide eyes, stopping dead in his tracks. "Cannon wanted to do what ?" Flash blinks a moment, seeming rather shocked at this news before shaking his head. "That Cannon ... he's got a lot to learn. But Dev you can trust, he's a good friend of mine," Flash tells Alison, happy to hear of Devaine already making new friends. The two could probably learn a lot from each other. A few more steps, and Flash approaches eight particular assembled pieces of wooden framework ... they are two horizontal stretches, connected at a right angle, and completely composed of wooden arches. The arches reach six or so feet in height, and are six feet wide. Some of the stretches reach 25 feet in length, some 12 and a half. Flash looks to these pieces, pointing them out. "These will go up next," he says.
Flash_Guardian steadies himself near the pile of wood, standing up straight, resting his arms at his side, and levelling his gaze with the arches before him. He closes his eyes, beginning to concentrate. As his focus increases, subtle waves and ripples move through the air surrounding his hands, which he slowly brings up in front of him, palms facing each other. The ripples and distortions waver and increase, seeming to fold and bend the air between Flash's hands ... then gradually the swirling ceases, and all returns to seeming normal. Flash opens his eyes now, directing his hands to the wooden formation in front of him, palms facing up. Slowly he lifts his hands, and as he does the connected string of wooden arches lift with them, now hovering just a few feet off the ground.
Flash_Guardian seems to have lost track of the angel girl somewhere in the midst of all that. He just keeps concentrating though, now that he's in the thick of his telekinesis spell. He continues to raise his arms up high, lifting the arches ten, fifteen, twenty, even twenty-five feet overhead. Flash lets his hands come to a stop there, instead moving his hands in a slow and gentle gliding motion over towards the dojo, and the arches follow suit, moving a bit more quickly over to their appointed place in the dojo, just on top of where the lowest level of the central roof curls up to near vertical at the central, inner edge. Slowly, Flash gently lets the arches down, setting them carefully into place.
Flash_Guardian wastes no time now, reaching out for the second set of arches and lifting them up into the air as before, then maneuvering it into place and setting it down slowly next to the other. Flash repeats this process with the other two, until at last the entire inner edge of the lowest central roof has a layer of arches standing up from it. Flash grins now for a moment, picturing the arches there and nodding satisfactorily.
Flash_Guardian sighs now, closing his eyes a moment in order to bend his telekinetic magics to a more practical purpose for the given situation. The magic currenly at his call now focusses more on him than his surroundings. A moment later, Flash nods, moving quickly to collect a nearby hammer and some nails. That done, he simply hops up toward the arches resting on top of the lower section of the roof, gliding through the air towards them.
Shattered_Soul Looks around as her senses kick in and makes her way through the lush forest, her light red eyes glow slightly as curiousity seems to consume her. Her long, black hair is wrapped neatly at the nape of her neck, loose strands of her hair hangs well past her hips. As she comes to a clearing she stops and looks around, leaning against a nearby tree and crosses her arms across her chest. The gem on her forehead seems to glow a bright, blood red as if warning her of anothers presence.
Flash_Guardian continues gliding through the air, unaware of another presence nearby. And in truth, were he actually aware of the woman standing there, he would probably pass her off as one of his friends who is also on the island at the moment returning from their business. And so he simply continues to rise up through the air at an angle, hammer and tin of nails held in his hands, red cape trailing along behind him as the magic lifts him up onto the bare wooden surface of the lowest layer of the central roof, the other two layers not yet in place. A row of arches currently stand along the upper inside edge of this section of roof. Flash quickly touches down upon the roof, feet moving quickly to slow him to a stop as gravity seems to find him once more. Though perhaps it isn't really gravity at the moment ...
Shattered_Soul Spots the man and watches him with curiousity, almost as if seeing through him which would send chills down anyones spine. She just leans against a tree, not sure is she should stay or simply continue on her way. Shrugging, she makes up her mind and stays, waiting for her curiousity to be filled. She had the tendancy to let her curiousity lead her to trouble and she loved every minute of it.
Flash_Guardian pauses for a moment up there on the roof, feeling a set of eyes upon him. His friends likely would have called out to him by now, so this was probably no one he knew. His eyes narrow slightly as he sets the tin of nails and the hammer down upon the roof, turning now to look over in the direction of the woman, not looking directly at her, but surprisingly accurate for a first glance at a previously unknown presence. There is a bit of searching with his eyes before he spots her, holding a hand over his eyes to shield them from the light of the midday sun. For a moment, he just stands there, looking in the woman's direction.
Shattered_Soul Her light red gaze drifts up from his feet to his eyes and locks there. Not making any attempt to move towards him, she only lifts a hand as her slender long digits move alittle as she offers a small wave. A smile tugs at the corners of her lush lips and then blows a strand of hair from her face. Her form was partly hidden beneath the shade that the tree offered, though her eyes her bright and emotionless. The gem upon her forehead continues to glow a deep, crimson red.
Eltharion walks onto the main breast of the island and spots a young adult, much like himself, watching a woman. He heads over to the man leaving footpints in the sand as he strides along, he reaches him then says "would you care to spar?". He awaited the mans answer while his hand was making his way towards the hilt of hi broad sword
Flash_Guardian waves back to the woman at the edge of the clearing from where he stands on the roof of the incomplete dojo at the center of the island, offering her a friendly smile. Another man seems to make his way into the clearing at the center of the forested island, to whom Flash looks now. Flash grins, responding to the man with a shake of his head. "At any other time, I would be delighted to," he answers. "However if I don't get these arches nailed into place, they're likely to topple over ... and I don't want to even imagine what kind of damage they'd do to this structure on the way down. Indeed, the dojo is still being constructed, its wooden framework still laid bare to the open air in many places.
Eltharion "very well, maybe some other time then" he turned away and started to walk to a tree when he reverted his attention back to the man and spoke "would you like any help?
Shattered_Soul Her gaze snaps to another man who approached, her eyes locking on his form and studies him for a moment. She then looks between the two and continues to lean against the tree. She slowly removes a few pins from her hair and smiles in comfort as it spills over her shoulders and down her back, well past her hips. Once more she presses her back against the tree and takes a glance at the area around her before she looks back up to the two men.
PhorenNarqu sighed as he walked, straight to the clearing "Flash? You here?" Short and sweet.
Flash_Guardian glances down at the man, trying to get a better picture of him. ((Seeing as you have no profile as of yet ...)) After a moment of contemplation, Flash calls down to him. "Can you swing a hammer?" Another glance is given to the woman standing at the tree line, perhaps just to make sure she is still there. The host in him wants him to move over to her and greet her properly, seeing as she too is a guest on his island.
Flash_Guardian is startled now as yet another figure makes his way onto the island, one whom he actually recognizes. Flash looks down to Phoren from atop the roof. "Phoren? Is that you? Hey, long time no see!" Flash grins now, waving to Phoren happily. "Hey, if you stick around long enough, you might get a chance to see Blue. He's been hanging around here a lot, it seems."
[PhorenNarqu ] "Why the hell are you so happy? My entire life is falling apart, or didn't Aislinn mention that she left me? Or that I got raped?"
Shattered_Soul Smiles as she stands there and her gaze falls to the nails and hammer. She then looks to the unfinished Arches and shakes her head. When she looks back to the men, she notices the glance and offers a small smile. Her attention then goes to yet another man who appeared as her light red gaze swiftly rolls over his form.
Flash_Guardian seems to hobble backward in surprise as Phoren speaks. "What?! You and ... Aislinn?" Slight realization dawns on him now as he thinks for a moment. "You're the one that Aislinn broke up with? I ..." Flash fumbles for words, looking rather awkward there on his rooftop. "I'm sorry, I ... I didn't know." Flash's semi-happy mood quickly wilts.
[PhorenNarqu ] "Who the hell else would she break up with? Ben?" He sighed, and walked over, pulling a piece of leather out of his pocket
Flash_Guardian seems rather offended at Phoren's harsh words. "Hey, how was I supposed to know it was you? She never mentioned you by name, and I don't ever remember you mentioning her much either." Flash still feels sympathy for his friend, but there was no need for him to last out in anger to someone who was barely involved. Flash simply sighs, shrugging it off for now. "In any case, I didn't know, and I'm sorry."
[PhorenNarqu ] "Well, have a look at this." He thrust out the leather
Flash_Guardian walks over to the edge of the roof now, slipping over the edge and dropping at a safely controlled rate to the ground below, just beside Phoren. "Alright, let's see it," Flash says, holding out a hand for the scrap of leather patiently, seeming rather curious.
PhorenNarqu passed it over. On it was a map, showing most of the known world. And an unknown part, labelled in black ink, clear on the pale leather 'Morrowind'.
Flash_Guardian peers over the map, seeming rather confused and scratching his spiky-haired head. "Morrowind?" Clearly he doesn't recognize the place.
[PhorenNarqu ] "I know. Some new place. This map washed up on shore. I'm going there. Sometime soon, get my thoughts off Aislinn."
Flash_Guardian grins, nodding. "Another place for your wanderings to take you. Perhaps it's for the best." Flash thinks for a moment before handing the map back to Phoren, a hint of sympathy still lingering on his emotionally flat face. "A vacation of sorts."
Jaia-Asumoto moves with the same serene complacency as she makes her way along the long sandy shore of the Isle. Her feet were bare, as she did not see the point in wearing the sandals at this particular venue. She would alter her course and move from the beach, further inland, her gaze somehow aloof and disinterested. She had been here before, and had found its location a rather satisfying place to meditate. She also knew it to be the home of a friend she had not seen in some time. Her bronze complexion bore the light without much difficulty, as her narrow eyes just moved about at random. A new thing for her...as she was usually far too silent, and straightforward to care. Instead of her usual kimono, she wore...what was in her opinion, distasteful, a silk tunic, which was a skirt cut short to a point above the knees, and a point just over her shoulders. She found this outfit more revealing then anything she had worn in the past, and being samurai...she would not be wearing it, without a reason. It had become a --
Flash_Guardian nods to Phoren and wishes him well before he leaves, quickly pushing up off the ground with his feet and rising through the air, bourne upward by some magical force until reaching the edge of the dojo's roof once more, his feet quickly finding home as he lands gently upon its surface. The other people seem to have left as well, leaving Flash alone for the moment once more. He quickly takes the opportunity to get to work securing the arches where they rest on top of the inside edge of the lowest section of the central roof.
Jaia-Asumoto -- necessity. Her students had also forced her to wear it when they realized the injury her spine had sustained would not make a full recovery with heavy clothing. So dressed in this...oddity, she did feel slightly uncomfortable. As always, a sash was wrapped around her shapely hips and her katana, Ichijmond, sheathed safely at her side. Her left hand held the top of the sheath, just beneath the hilt of the katana, in case of emergencies...but they were few enough. She would slowly come into the clearing, she had known from memory. The construction site, although further developed lay in front of her. She would stop there, bringing a hand to brush back the long strands of black hair, and watch her environment with a deepening curiosity, and nothing more.
AutumnNight would simply appear on the clearing, a light whirl of wind around her for a second. As the whirl has vanished she looks around curiously arching an eyebrow "Well not exactly where I wanted to be, but it'll probably do" she mutterd mainly towards herself. She glanced around curiously her eyes shifting from one side to the other, arching an eyebrow as she notices the construction. "Hello?" she spoke while taking a few steps towards it.
Flash_Guardian had just grabbed his hammer and begun pounding in the first nail before another voice calls to him from below. Flash quickly rises, looking out in the direction of the voice to see a woman dressed in black with long blonde hair. "Hello there," Flash calls back down to the woman in greeting, his face bearing a polite smile. 'So many newcomers today,' he thinks to himself. Turning his head to look aside, he also spots Jaia down below, giving her a friendly smile and a deep bow of respectful greeting. "Jaia-san! It's good to see you again." He looks between the two now, smiling happily. "Welcome to Redfang Island, both of you."
AutumnNight looks up at the sound of a voice, making a slight bow "Thank you kindly sir" She only now would see the other female, making a polite bow towards her as well "And a good day to you as well ma'am" as she stands straight she'ld lightly tilt her head to one side "So it's called Redfang Island... hmm interesting" She'ld mutter mainly towards herself before calling up to the male "I'm sorry sir, I'm in search of a few plants, maybe you could tell me if they grow here"
Flash_Guardian considers the blonde haired woman's plight for a moment. "I'll do my best, though in truth my explorations of this island have been casual at best. There does seem to be quite the variety of tropical plant life here, though. What kind of plants are you looking for, exactly?"
Jaia-Asumoto would smile up at Flash lightly, and bow gently making sure not to bend her back too much. Her ebony hair would tip forward gently, and as she returned to her rigid, yet relaxed posture. At a distance, one could see she was Japanese, but her outfit would confuse one as to her occupation. She was samurai, as the katana indicated...but her outfit made her look dangerously similar to a ninja. Wincing at the thought of it, she would shake her head lightly and move carefully toward the expanding dojo. It was intriguing to realize how long she had been gone, reconstructing her own temple and dojo for the Asumoto Clan...but none the less, she found his temple interesting as it were. She would notice the presence of another, and return the polite bow. Moving with fluid, feline grace she would drift slowly around where Flash was working, but below him of course...to inspect the construction personally. Although she would appear to be absorbed by the fascinating building...truthfully she was more interested in --
Jaia-Asumoto -- her freind's condition...and the female, as it were. It wasn't in her nature to be curious about others, but since her humiliating defeat to Cannon, alot of things in her personality had changed.
[Flash_Guardian ] Indeed, much has progressed with the construction since the last time Jaia was here. The wooden framework that now stands lends a good example of what the building will look like upon completion, with only the upper layers of the central roof now incomplete.
AutumnNight would give a light smile "I'm looking for herbs, more than tropical plants... Alfalfa, Aztec Sweet Herb and Bloody Dock..." she shrugged her shoulders lightly "I was wondering if they grow here, if not I'll be back on my way to search for them."
Cannon makes entrance variant Beta today. Not that you'd know necessarily that he only had a fixed number of entrances, but Beta is the one where he drops down from the distant sky, apparently under freefall.... then buffers his fall with a cushion of heat right at the last moment, coming to a hovering stop a very short distance above the ground and sending out the dissipating wave of heat in all directions..... Then of course he actually touches down.
Flash_Guardian grits his teeth awkwardly. "Ummm ... I'm not sure, really," he says, not really able to tell what plants the woman is looking for by name alone. "I guess if nothing else, you could try the wooded northern side of the island ... or near the southwestern pillar of basalt. I saw quite a few exotic looking plants growing there." Flash simply shrugs. "Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I guess while you're here, make yourself at home." With that, Flash goes back to the construction project, hammering the lower section of support arches onto the lowest section of roof.
