Flash_Guardian at last finishes putting the last nail into the existing framework for the dojo, with much excitement! A loud whoop and hollar of celebration can be heard across the entire island as Flash crows and waves his hammer around in sheer joy.

Flash_Guardian looks all around him now, as if searching for others to share his little celebration with. Unfortunately, no one has arrived at the island just yet, a fact that seems to dampen Flash's spirits just a little. Still, getting the last nail into what's up is a large step. Soon enough, the entire wooden framework for the dojo will have been assembled, and the more tedious work of insulating, covering, and decorating can begin.

Aislinn , at the sound of a hammer, she began to wake up. The lady had been slumbering outside, next to Benjamin. But he didn't seem to be there anymore. Her violet eyes looked around groggily as she heard more hammering. Synth, the dove, chirped and hopped on Aislinn's lap as she woke. The lady laughed a little, nuzzling the bird with her finger.

Flash_Guardian decides that now is the perfect time for a break. He sets his hammer and tin of nails down on one of the naked beams of wood, then proceeds to run down one of the exposed beams that leads down the roof, which is quite an impressive feat considering the beam is only two inches wide. Upon reaching the end of the beam, Flash leaps forward off of the roof, tucks into a ball, and turns a couple of quick front flips on his way down to the ground some twelve feet below, landing in a graceful crouch with what seems like an effortless performance.

Unicorn_Of_The_Moon she waded through the wate,r her white flongpelt trailing begind her, her tail flowing out, her main sticking to her damp neck. a soft whinnie is let out through the air, echoing through the island. she sniffed the air > she calledo ut ot herself. > she began to gallop as fast as she could throug hthe water, quickly gaining speed as she soon hit the land, her feet punding against the sand, causing it to flick up with eah step, soon making her way to the clearing where flash was

Aislinn caught the end of his flip, and was heard clapping now with a small smile. "Bravo." She called out to Flash. She stretched, having slept in her gown and even the cloak upon the night. The gown was a little wrinkled, but she definetly would not have removed a single thing. That was not right. Her eyes glanced around, wondering where all of the others had gone to.

Unicorn_Of_The_Moon she stopped at the edge of the clearing, snorting a blue, warm breath showing agaisnt the cool night air > she nicckered to herself quietly. only once before i met you, but i could never forget him> she almost seemed to smile. She then bobbed her head up and down in a burst of energy, and shook her head and neck, stamping a foot on the sand, making quite a bit of comotio really .

Flash_Guardian hears clapping, quickly rising to his feet and giving a proper and dramatic bow to his audience. "Well, well, look who's finally awake," he says with a chuckle. "I'm amazed you could sleep through all of that hammering. Sleep well?"

Malenka seemed to appear, right there, Seated, properly next to Aislinn. Though it was simply the vampiric nature of her being, which allowed her to move, against the human eye, with a flashing speed. her tiny gloved hands had been placed neatly in her lap, And her bonette was down over her pale blue eyes. Blood tears sat still, in the depths of her eyes, and a rouge tear stained her cheek. She turned up now, To look the woman in the face. Her face was mingled with beauty, and indeniable pain. " What have you dont to Phoren.." She whispered softly. A sharp whisper. But soft, in its nature.

Aislinn was sitting up, Cleome (the dapple gray mare) was behind her. The horse's ears switch, as a unicorn appeared, and now a vampire. One that Cleome and Aislinn recognized. The horse stamped a hoof and snorted, not trusting Malenka. After the last run in, who could blame lady or horse. before she had showed, however, Flash had spoken, and the red haired lass responded. A little groan. "Well? I wish, but no. Perhaps that is why I did not wake until now. Nightmares are no joyous thing." Her violet eyes seemed surprised as Malenka showed up now. She got to her feet quickly, standing beside her horse, watching the unnatural girl. "Done to Phoren? I let him go. To be with Chiren. I had figured he would be happier this way."

Flash_Guardian thinks he hears a horse nearby. 'Probably just Aislinn's horse, he thinks, but still looks in that direction. And when he does, he sees not the dappled grey mare who brought Aislinn here, but a horse of pure white brilliance and amazing beauty, with a cone-shaped horn protruding from the mare's forehead. Flash stares in wonder for a moment, at least until the arrival of someone new nearby. Something about this new woman made Flash think things were about to get very complicated in short order.

Unicorn_Of_The_Moon she then heard Malenkas voice. the wretched child. she stamped her front right leg angrilly. > she whinnied loudly, dangerously, in, almost a hurtened tone > she reads up kciking her front fhoofs a bit before coming abck down.

Flash_Guardian simply watches the developing scene at the moment, seeing as none of this business is quite concerning him just yet. Still, he holds his hands up just slightly, prepared to step in if things got a bit rougher. For now, his eyes are mostly on the unicorn rather than the seeming nine-year-old.

Malenka smiled. The true smile of a child. Though fangs glistened now, there was a strange air of innocence there. " You speak to me, Lady Aislinn, as if you have done him some great justice"Her eyes narrowed, as if she saw something in the woman, she couldnt begin to understand. " I hate you for many reasons. For standing there, and letting Phoren tear me to shreds. So that i had to feed on every in my path, just to gain a proper pulse. I hate you for making Phoren so damn pure! But i hate you most of all, for making a moping mess out of my vampire!" She bawled up tiny fists, in a tight, and infamous anger. And then turned sharply to the unicorn. " Oh come now! I am but a child..." She smiled again. And her rage subsided. Only to impure her expression. Only to add a crisp measure of grace to her face. That face of a doll, conealing the woman beneath.

Unicorn_Of_The_Moon she shook her head > she shrieked out in a cry of rage, then snorted, her calls gorwing softer, but more angrier you twist lord phoren and lady chirens love for eachother, you horrid little wretch, you don't even deserve the body of a child you should have that of a old maged hag!> though ,eher words onlky came out as equine calls, thus, un-understood by anything around by her own kind.

Aislinn continued to watch the unnatural child with the eyes of a hawk. Trust was obviously not there. But trust was earned, not given. And Malenka had proven herself more than one time to be worthy of the lady's lack of trust. "Why not? He kept returning to Chiren. I believe he never ceased to love her. So why not allow him to be free to completely care for her again?" Her lips pursed, and she continued to watch her. "That battle, was not for me to interfere with. That was between you and Phoren. Had you not cursed his child and others to hell, I may have thought you better. But I have heard that no vampire is truly ever pure. And you, child pretender, never were pure." Dealing with an empath was hard. Feigned appearances, did not work. She saw through them. "Why should he mope? He has what he wants. He slept with Chiren, let him and her have eachother."

Flash_Guardian simply cannot have an upset horse, especially one so noble and wise as a unicorn, on his premises without knowing why. Though her neighs and whinnies may go unheeded, Flash has at his disposal a different means of communication, one that is far older than the sand on any beach or the stars on any sky. Flash approaches the unicorn now with great reverence and respect, and speaks to the unicorn in this language now, though any nearby will not be able to understand Flash's words or the unicorn's reply, as no two beings speak this tongue the same way.

[Flash_Guardian whispers to Unicorn_Of_The_Moon] Using the Tongue of Sun and Moon >> "Be still, noble mare. What is it about this woman that has you so up in arms?"

Aislinn , indeed would not understand Flash when he spoke. Aislinn was well versed in tongues, but there were some she did not know. If it was an animal, though, she could converse with it. That was always in her ability to.

Unicorn_Of_The_Moon she turned her eyes to flash, seeming to calm down. she snorted a few times, but staying silent . her eyes overting to malenka's and back to flash

[Unicorn_Of_The_Moon whispers to Flash_Guardian] ahh flash. i see we meet again, forgive me that it is under these circumstances [sp?], mlenka is a horris person, it's to complex to explain, nor do i wish to relive the pain, but you muyst get her away from here"

Malenka Rose to her feet, glaring at the form of Aislinn. She hated, suddenly, the insults spewed forth. " You Speak of purity! You are a fool, if you believe such a thing exists! Purity is for those who have yet to taste the power of evil!" She threw her bonnett to the side, golden curls dripping down her shoulders. her now, tear ridden eyes, a gleam in the harsh light. Blood tears. That fell to meet the lace of her her dress. it even dripped upon the rosary, bound around her neck. " Try to be pure! When you are a woman of great beauty and capability, trapped inside the body of a child! worthless! Tiny! With no man to desire you! And no woman to talk, philosophy with you! Speak of purity! When your parents abandon you, and the only parents you had, were vampires! with cold skin! And no warmth to cling too!" Malenka fell back, and in a huddle of lace and satin, shook. The incline and decline of her arched, cat like back, responding to the sobs which escaped her. " You! Lady Aislinn, Have ruined my master plan..."

Flash_Guardian blinks at the unicorn, rather curious as he doesn't seem to remember her, yet she remembers him. An occurence that happens far too often when you reach a certain age. After hearing both Aislinn and the unicorn's side of the story, Flash turns to watch Malenka now. Indeed she is far more than what she seems ... and indeed her bitter and hateful words jsut proved as much. At this point, Flash steps into the center of the argument, though not directly between anyone, folds his arms, and looks down at Malenka curiously, just to make his presence more clearly known, if nothing else. Besides, by placing himself purposefully between the disputing pair, he can more easily stop any kind of physical conflict. Or so he thinks, anyway.

Unicorn_Of_The_Moon she wahtched the girl, unable to understand her words. she shook her head agisnt and looked to flash. she stook a deep breath in, an d exhaled slowly, shaking her neck. you dont know the pain she has inflicted on lady chiren, lord phoren and myself>

Aislinn shook her head at that, her sympathy little for Malenka. She would not be tricked into feeling sorry for her and letting down her guard. "While I do not think it was right for you to be created, let alone created as a child... Purity, is something that is attainable, more than you think. If you think we have all had cheery and happy childhoods, then you may be surprised to learn not all of us have. But, it is how you react to them, that makes you what and who you are. Vampire or not, you have cursed those who did not deserve such. Perhaps if you actually ceased such hate, and learned to accept and let other, positive emotions in....others would be glad to speak with you." The fiery haired lady stood, the little dove perched on her shoulder. The one Cannon had created. "Master plan...that does not seem innocent. Whether I have ruined something for you, I can assure you what I have done, had no intents upon you."

Flash_Guardian offers a smile to Aislinn, as well as to Cannon's dove on her shoulder. "Well spoken, Lady Aislinn."

Malenka Rose to her feet now, And ran. Ran down the hill, ran through the sand, with quite a bit of difficulty, then stopped at the tip of the water. watching the tide roll in, and out. her mind, was strong in its craft of transferring thoughts to any mortal, who's mind was open. And as of now, Aislinns was as open as a greek temple. - Aislinn..You must remember. We are evil. Vampires, we are the only form of it. Our exsitance is based off destroying your own. My skin is warm now, because i have killed, a woman much like yourself. And her blood pumps through me now, just as your's could. Do not conjure the rage in me...- Like a transmission ended, Malenka's voice, upon the maidens mind would dissapear. And Malenka would now simply stand there, calling over the rushing waves to everyone who would hear. " Lady Chiren, had nothing to do with this. She loves Phoren. But she never came to you, wanting him, and Phoren never admitted to wanting her. You assume to much. Thus to me, your words are worthless~~~

[Malenka ] Human intellect trying to justify the things it fears" She turned, gathering her bonnet up to her chest, as if it were a doll. And watched, waiting an attack, or more argument, or perhaps, blessed silence.

Aislinn would hear such. While her mind couldn't be manipulated, no it was surprisingly strong for that. She could be spoken to. That, she never usually blocked others from. But, she did not have the ability to speak in another's mind in return. Such hate, such darkness, made her frown. She was human, of course she assumed. No one ever fully proved otherwise. Aislinn did, however, feel emotions in others. But she didn't speak such matters. It all was so much. Was this how vampire hunters were created. Her violet eyes looked to Flash uneasy. She didn't seem comfortable one bit, especially when receiving yet another threat. "I never thought Benjamin's words could be so true. He now even wonders if it is better to dispatch of vampires to the hell they have created for themselves. I...just do not know." She was being outwardly strong. A court face, hiding her emotions. She had to. Thelady might have broken down into tears otherwise. She would not show weakness, if anything...(cont)

[Aislinn ] ...her horrible father taught her that much.

Unicorn_Of_The_Moon she hsook her head, and did not chase after malenka ,that girl, she wasn't all evil, ther was some good in her, there had to be. :she sighed and layed down on the cool night sand why do i feel pity for her. she manipulated and caised great pain in everyone i love and care about..>

Flash_Guardian approaches Aislinn now uncertainly, knowing little of the back-story behind the argument. But there is wisdom in age. He shakes his head somberly. "Vampires can be a force for good. I know, because I have seen them with my own eyes. I have seen angels fall, and demons repent. I have seen fighters forsake the sword in place of the plough. I have seen the greediest of thieves give up everything they've ever owned for the heart of a woman. Nothing is ever as simple as 'All of my kind are evil.' Anything is possible, from anyone, any heart."

Aislinn managed the smallest of smiles as she looked to Flash. A nod from her now, would be seen. "Yes.... I have known murders and thieves to become priests..." She whispered, thinking of something. "Atonement can be reached. It is there, if one searches for it. But not everyone wishes it...unfortunately." The dove hopped into her open palms, and she looked down at it. It chirped at her, nuzzling its 'mother's' hand. "Enough of this. I verily need something to get my mind off all of this. There seems to be more hammering to be done. Perhaps I can help again?"

Flash_Guardian adds quickly, "Thus it is much safer to judge each person individually, and not condemn an entire race from the actions of one." Flash grins slightly, hoping his words offer Aislinn a bit of wisdom and hope.

Malenka was done with it. Aislinn was all but complying with Malenka's attempts to recieve the human emotion of love, of sympathy, caring. And why had she craved it so? People seemed to think, much like the immaculate conception of her patron saint, that she came from practically nowhere...and needed nobody. And would then, go off to live her damned life, like god went to save the world. Free of emotion, except that of power, and the need to change the wrongs done to the people. Malenka was no such creature! She was once a daughter. And a sister. Who came froma mother, and father, in the priesthood. Who lived in paris, in the time of the revolution. She was no monster. She was a friendless, creature of abandoment. She sniffed a litle, looked back, looked ahead, and trembled with an uneasy need to kill.

Aislinn would never have thought Malenka came to her for any of those things. She wanted them from others, that she had seen. Chiren, Phoren...so many others. Never the fiery haired lass. So that would remain for now. "I agree whole heartedly with you, sir Flash. I am also greatful for your wisdom. Thank you." She said softly, her eyes looking to Cleome for a moment. The peculiar horse whinnied something to Aislinn, and the lady smiled now. "Yes, my friend. I am fine."

Flash_Guardian grins cheerfully now, eager to put such messy business behind for now. "Indeed. Although I must admit, I just recently finished putting the rest of the nails in for whatever is in place. I'll need to telekinese some more wooden framework into place before we can get anything further done." Flash looks back up to the dojo now, contemplating what the next step should be.

Aislinn laughed softly, still putting on her best face. She was a strong woman, at least inside. "Well, I fear I cannot help you with telekinesis...but perhaps I could do something else at least. Name a task, and I will try my best to complete such. I wish to help you with this building. You have been quite kind to me, and many of those that are my dear friends."

Glyniss_McMasters rolled over from where she had settled under the stars the night before...pushing herself into a sitting position as she looked around her judging her bearings somewhat...she had found after wandering away from the camp that the tide had come in and thus had just found a place to sleep...using the tree close by as leverage and support she pushed winced...into a standing position...reaching up as fingers griped the brim of the stetson lifting and slapping it against her gently mostly to wake herself up fully

Flash_Guardian considers the earlier situation for a moment before sighing contentedly. "If nothing else, I am simply happy that no blood was spilled here just now. Not a pleasant experience for humans, and not very good for vampires either." Beyond that, he simply chuckles, his gaze at last returning from the dojo to look upon the woman once more. "Don't worry about the heavy lifting, I can handle that myself. However, I think the next logical step will actually be to lay some flat boards across the roof and get them nailed into place. After that, we'll actually have a flat surface to work on, at least." Flash begins walking over to glance at his blueprints now where they rest upon a nearby stack of boards.

Aislinn followed Flash, Cleome following Aislinn, and Synth happily resting on the lady's shoulder. Both the lady and horse looked down at the blueprints with interest. "This is such a curious building. I have never seen one like it before, sir Flash."

PhorenNarqu floated, in the water. He had gone to a beach, and flung himself from one of the cliffs. Hoping to die. But he didn't, and so eneded up on the shore

Aislinn rubbed her forehead, her violet eyes concentrating on the blueprints. She needed to work. She wanted to help Flash, and anything to get things off her mind. Maybe it would do some good to put all of her efforts into this building and helping to create it. Something to do with her hands, and perhaps not let her mind wander about unpleasant things. Synth, didn't seem to have interest in the bluprints. She didn't exactly seem to possess much intelligence. But, she was just a dove, afterall. Albeit, a cute one. Aislinn would be happy to see the odd female, Glyniss again. She was not used to her accent, or her clothes, but she liked her already.

Glyniss_McMasters slaps the hat back onto her mope of hair...eyes narrowing somewhat as she looks over in the direction of the camp wondering if it was too early to make her way there.....I mean..preacher man and that girlie sure....well....emm never mind that shaking her head a little she stabs the soft earth with her booted toe

Flash_Guardian nods. "I have ... though I have to admit, the idea for this layout," he says, gesturing over the plans with a sweeping hand, "was half mine and half traditional. The concept of building a dojo around the five basic Tao elements is nothing new, though I don't think I've ever seen it done with this particular arrangement." He spares a glance back to the incomplete building now, smiling admirably. "It'll sure be something to see when it's finished. But anyway, back to the task at hand." Flash now moves over to a stack of wood of a different sort, a large pile of flat, broad pieces of oak. "I guess I'll start cutting these to fit so we can get them up into place," he says, grabbing his pencil, a straightedge ruler, and a hand saw, eyeing the pile dilligently.

Aislinn rubbed her hands together, eager to get to work. "Is there anything I can aid in? I am quite good with tools." She prided herself on that. The lady, wasn't the normal blue bred type. Stubborn to a tee, and a bit of a tomboy streak in her. Just as much feminine as you could see in Benjamin Blue, there was a yearning to be just as good at this 'men' did, in her. "Perhaps I can cut while you place them with your ability?"

Flash_Guardian nods thoughtfully, already working to measure out the first cut, pencil tucked behind his ear and resting against his headband. "I measure, you cut? Sounds good to me." One hand proceeds to hold the straightedge down, while the other whips the pencil away from his head to run back and forth along the straightedge, creating a clear marking for the cut.

Glyniss_McMasters shrugs her shoulders hands stuffed in jean pockets she turns and begins limping towards the camp even if a little stiffly...the new shark/shell necklace tinkling a little as she moves mixed with the creaking of metal rubbing metal in her wake.....she begins whistling "Follow Me" something Flash should remember

Flash_Guardian tilts his head to one side, hearing a familiar tune being whistled ... something that brings back fond memories. "Sounds like Glyniss is ready to greet the day," he says cheerfully, moving on to mark the next edge.

Aislinn nodded with a plastered smile, which was hurting her face now. Smile, always smile. Princesses do not frown, princesses do not show weakness. They are noble, and with noble blood comes strength. She never took any stock of what her father said, but somehow always reverted to those lessons when she was upset. The lady took the saw in hand, and nodded. "Very well." After he measured a piece, the lady held down the wood, and cut with her right hand. The saw making noises, as she moved it back and forth across the wood.

Glyniss_McMasters stiffness loosens the more she seemed to be walking the kinks ebbing away....pausing to glance about a puzzled look crossing her features as she thought she saw something and not making out quite what it was she continued to watch it longer...the whistling having become much lower in sound volumn

Flash_Guardian proceeds with that self-same determination from the other day. It seems like it's far too easy for this man to get entirely wrapped up in a project, able to think about nothing else. And so he proceeds in his single-minded work, chewing his lower lip and squinting his eyes at the wooden surface beneath him, paying close attention to the fine details. Hard to say who is really doing the more difficult work, the woman with the saw or the man with the ruler.

Aislinn was very glad he didn't ask questions and went straight to work. She was also glad there was much work to do. Never have you seen one so full of joy to do menial tasks. The lady wouldn't have suggested her work with a saw was tougher. Infact, she liked doing this. She used to sneak out, and help peasants fix their homes and such. What she learned, was that no one was too good to learn new things. A faint smile was seen on her face, as she thought about some villagers while doing the work. Cleome, would gently take the wood in mouth, not damaging it, and place it in a neat pile after the wood was cut. Scraps in one pile, cut boards in another.

Flash_Guardian can't help but notice Aislinn's happy smile at her work. Even the horse seems to be lending a ... hand, a notion that amuses Flash to no end, causing him to chuckle lightly before moving on to the next piece, though still he says nothing.

Aislinn continued to work, even managing a small tune hummed on her breath very softly. Almost inaudible. Her thoughts drifted from the villagers, to her mother. It gave her strength. The lady and mare were a team, of course. Never did you see one without the other. And Cleome, liked helping almost as much as Aislinn did. The horse liked Flash, and thought she might as well help Aislinn and him. Synth was still perched on her shoulder, even whistling now, almost imitating Aislinn's tune. Cut through the board, and continue. Cut through the board and continue. Still, she seemed pleased as punch with the work.

Glyniss_McMasters shakes her head whatever it was hadnt moved the whole time she had been watching and so she turns and begins once more heading towards the camp .....the whistling turning into music and words... " It's by far the hardest thing I've ever done....To be soo in love with you and soo alone....Follow me where I go what I do and who I know.....Make it a part of you to be a part of me...Follow me up and down all theeee way and all around....Take my hand and say you'll follow meee." her voice litling upwards each note held in mid air mere seconds before vanishing dipping and swirling in a light tune

Flash_Guardian beams happily as he works, looking up to Glyniss now with a cheery smile, his movements fluid and light. "Well, good morning, sunshine!" he calls to Glyniss, at last tossing the first flat section of wood aside and starting to work on the next one. Aislinn herself was keeping good pace with Flash's measurements, not too far behind him. At the rate the two are going, they'll probably finish all the cuts just before sundown. Pity that building up is so easy, yet building across is so much more involved, as there's more ground to cover. And these cuts aren't the easiest thing to measure, either.

Glyniss_McMasters limps along the clicking of metal being lost within the song she sings.... "It's long been on my mind...You know its been a long, long time...I've tried to find the way that I can make you understand....Thee way I feel about you and just how much I need you....To be theree where I can talk to you....When there's nooo one else around.....Follow meee where I go what I do and whoo I know....Make it a part of you to beee a part of me....Follow me up and down allll the way and all around...Take myy hand and say you'll follow meee"

Blank shimmered into existance not far from the incomplete structure. He was dressed in his usual attire, attitude and posture. In short, he was a sad sight for sore eyes. The rogue ran his fingers through his messed up mat of brown hair and down his pale face. His tired eyes scanned over the immidate area with apathy and little interest and his experession shifted to something between irritation and wearyness. "The hell?" He grumbled as he shuffled towards the structure.

Aislinn looked up for a moment as she begun to hear Glyniss singing. She listened to the lyrics, as she continued now again with the sawing. The dove had settled into a little bit of an awkward coo, before nestling in Aislinn's hair that hung past her shoulder. Synth hid in the hair, propped on the slender shoulder. The lady tried to move her left shoulder as little as possible, so to not knock the dove off. Her right hand continued with the sawing, and the horse kept placing the wood in order.

Glyniss_McMasters stops dead as she hears Flash's greeting a broad grin appearing...a hand rising to lift her stetson as she looks over to Aislinn " Howdy girli'....Flas' shoo' yer tw' are sur' up wit' ter lark' don' yer eve' slee'?"

BenjaminBlue restlessy turned in his sleep as the unmistakable sound of familiar voices, most prominent was Glyniss' singing. From a gathering of bushes some distance away from Flash's dojo, a sounded an elongated and tiresome groan as Ben pushed himself up from the ground. His squinty eyes scanned the blurry landscape as he slowly started to recover from his daze, running his left hand down his face with a yawn. "Goodness gracious..." he whispered to himself with a stretch. "Nightfall already? I must have slept in..." Ben shakily stood to his feet, looking like a beginner on stilts, and began to walk towards the shoreline like the zombie he felt like, intent on dipping his feet in the waters to wake him up a little more.

Flash_Guardian stops in mid-measurement, thinking he recognized a particular breed of grumbling that only one man he knows can truly achieve. Someone he hasn't heard word from for quite some time, too. "Welcome to my future dojo, Blank!" he calls loudly to the man standing in the clearing nearby, smirking to himself and wondering just what his old friend would have to say about such a place. A chuckle is given to Glyniss, eyes crinkling in a smile. "Of course I sleep. I sure sleep lots more than I used to, that's for sure. Heck, if I was still able to get by on just two hours of sleep, I'd have had the entire roof up with boards and shingles by now!"

Aislinn smiled genuinely at Glyniss. "Hello miss....um...I apologize, I do not know your name." She grinned with her words now. "Well, best to get straight to work. I do not mind." She enjoyed it.

PhorenNarqu lay there, the water washing over the lower half of his body, a curious item of cloth draped on his arm. He didn't even look up, just lay there on the wet sand. Occasionally a strong wave would wash up to his chest, but he wished they would wash further up.

Aislinn almost jumped out of her skin as Blank materialized. This lady still was having trouble being used to a lot of things. Calming, she went back to her work.

Blank shoots Aislinn a blank look before moving on. Perhaps it was just a glance. Feh. He looked to Flash and quirked a brow at the uncompleted structure and waves a little. "Future dojo? You mean this stack of logs will be your dojo? Well... I suppose not everyone can meet my taste... or talent." He says, attempting to muster some sort of ego in his voice to make it at least sound like he wasn't the most unfriendly thing that had come this way. A joke, yes? Well, we hope people understand it as that.

Aislinn blinks, but shakes her head with a little chuckle. She assumed the two were good friends, and went about her work, occasionally looking to Glyniss or Blank.

Glyniss_McMasters slaps her hat back finger flicking the brim so it tilts back...." Geez girli' jus' yer cal' me Glyniss....or anythin' yer dam' wel' please" chuckling as she sees Blank emm....wait she does see him and not his shirt tails.....a rised brow as she now looks over the damn front of this fellow

BenjaminBlue 's plush footwear finally touched the sands of the beach, the line he had been walking become straighter with every moment as the world started to become clearer. Ben looked up, shielding his eyes over his eyes, and shook his head. "Morning?" he guessed. "Maybe mid-day? I haven't the faintest idea..." Ben glanced down and hunched over, sliding both of his shoes off to prevent them from getting too wet as he continued on his way towards the ocean. His pace slowed as he caught sight of Phoren beneath an occasional blanket of waves, eventually causing him to come to a halt as he stood quietly, waiting for Phoren to notice him.

Flash_Guardian just plays along, grinning. "Oh, I know. I'm sure if you were working on such a project, the entire structure would have been completed within a week." Flash continues his measurings and cuttings, though speaks loud enough to make introductions for everyone. "Glyniss, Aislinn, this fine architect here is my good friend Blank. Blank, the one with the hat is Glyniss, and the one with the saw and the bird at the moment is Aislinn. If you'd like to take a look at the blueprints, they're over here next to me."

Aislinn looked down, wondering if she just got rebuked by the woman? She wondered if girli was this slang she kept hearing about? Because she was not a girl at least, but a full grown woman. "Pleased to meet you, Glyniss. I am Aislinn." She said softly, before going back to diving into the work. For now, the lady would keep oddly quiet, speaking up only when addressed.

[Aislinn ] "A pleasure to meet you as well, Blank."

PhorenNarqu lay there. Staring blankly into the sand. Not noticing, not caring. Wrapped up in a thick layer of thought and pain. His new necklace, replacing that he had once worn, lying next to him on the sand, glinting in the light

Akabane Howls. Horrid and spine chilling. Just the wind; just the wind. And a strong wind that was. A wide-brimed hat of black would sail in it, land in the center of the arena, and flit up, seeming to dance of its own accord. Flitting, dancing in the wind until a shadow - just a shadow with no visible caster - would walk up; meet withthat of the hat, and the hat would rest still, as if it had been set upon someone's head. And soon enough, that shadow would take form, slowly becomeing none-other than the owner of the hat. A man tall of stature weaking a black suit and trenchcoat; long ebony hair and nails painted silver...no. Not nails. They seemed made of metal razors. And in a moment, those nails would slam to a full foot-long set of razors. more lie within the man, as did a set of strings unlike any others... Around his neck was a collar. Not your average slave collar, but one of some odd form of leather, and upon it lie a tag. It was, infact, a shock-collar of sorts. After all, even cannibals need sleep. >>

Akabane And Adriath had captured this particular one during that time. One of the few enemies of the MNO to be kept alive. And now? He lie as a test; a challenge to those who desired entrance into the elite fighting forces. Akabane Kurouda: The "Boogieman".

Aislinn would react to it, her slender form trembling as she felt a chill run down her. And, yes, she would think it was only the wind, right? Taking a breath, and back to her work.

BenjaminBlue still gazed towards Phoren's melancholy display, a sense of his gloom washing over Ben with the next crashing wave. One foot carefully proceeded after the other, bringing the sleepy bard closer and closer towards the waters until it came that he stood right beside the man, pivoting his head with a small, but blank smile to show his greeting. Not saying a word, Ben took a seat beside him and pulled his knee closer, wrapping his arms around them as he gaze out towards the horizon.

Blank shrugs to Flash and turns to face the two ladies. He nods to each and forces a smile. "Hello ladies, a pleasure to meet you." He sweatdrops, apparently one of them was trying to scope him out? He was wearing his usual attire of a dark long-coat, sweatpants, t-shirt, sneakers, goggles... ect. "Anyway... I had best not look at them. I might be a little rude. Already I threatened to make an impressionist painting from some idiot's blood this week."

PhorenNarqu lay there, that strange, blue-brown cloth still upon his arm. He didn't move, didn't speak. Didn't hear anything at all.

Flash_Guardian pauses once more in his measuring and cutting of the wooden planks to be fitted over the rooftops of the wings, tilting his head up as he hears something ... barely audible, but it's there. His intuition tugs at him ... something isn't right, he can feel it in his bones. "I'll be right back," he says quickly, at last coming into motion once more as he throws his pencil and straightedge down upon the wood, standing from his work to look around.

Glyniss_McMasters nods to Aislinn....still looking Blank over soo this was the guy she was always just missing "Howdy Blan'.."head now turning to see what.....a hat and then a...well creature a brow rised okay she's impressed it's not like nobody else appears sooo suddenly..

Aislinn cut the last piece of wood that was measured, still unable to shake the feeling, herself. Her eyes dart to Cleome, mare and lady stare at eachother for a moment. It was no animal, to be exact. Was it truly only wind and nothing more? As the wind blew, she gently took Synth off her shoulder and cradled the bird protectively in her hands.

BenjaminBlue soon angled his sight towards his companion beside him, letting his foot slide against the sands as he stretched out one leg. "Should I bother to ask what ails you? Perhaps you would wish to be alone?" he called quietly, punctuating his question as another wave crashed.

Blank seems to ignore the enterance of this individual. He's good at blocking out (or pretending to be blocking out) the arrival of these odd 'characters'. "Anyway..."

PhorenNarqu did not stir. It was obvious that something was wrong. His necklace was just a strip of leather with a ring of gold with a ruby inset. The ring he had given Aislinn. His clothes were torn now, and blood oozed very slowly from a vicious bite on his arm.

Flash_Guardian eventually just shakes his head and bats a hand at whatever was poking at his attention. "Bah ... probably nothing." As swiftly as he left his work, he now returns to it. "Sure you don't want to take a look, Blank? I'm sure you could at least offer me some good advice, being as this isn't really my particular area of expertise. I had to get myself a book of reference just to figure out how to fit all these joints together, for crying out loud. 'Carpentry for Dummies.' Wasn't cheap either, mind you. Nobody in their right mind delivers to an island whose only entrance is underwater half the time."

Blank sighs and droops his head a little. "If you really want me to."

Glyniss_McMasters brow rises even more when it looks like the creature bolts like a rabbit to a hole....head tilting upwards as she watches Flash for a few seconds...." Yer stil' ahollerin' fer folk' ter hel'...shoo' I wa' expectin' yer ter hav' it al' don' an' duste' by no'" limping closer...sideglancing to Blank. before shouting up at Flash " He' hav' yer see' Dev aroun' ye'..?"

BenjaminBlue had only just now noticed the teeth marks on Phoren's arm as he inspected his dark figure, turning his gaze back toward the shimmering surface of the ocean with a sigh and a gentle nod of his head. Given that Ben possessed healing powers through the use of prayers and hymns praising heaven, his abilities would only cause Phoren more pain if he so much a uttered a minor healing blessing. Of course, that was not what bothered Benjamin Blue. Something had been broken, maybe taken from him. Something close to his heart. Ben shifted in his seat slightly, propping himself up by placing his arms behind him, sinking a little lower into the sand. "What happened...?" he asked with little of his fanciful nature flavouring the inclination of his tone.

Blank glances back to Glyniss and sweatdrops. "Yes?"

Aislinn stood with the saw, just awaiting another piece of wood. She was acting a little stiffly now, and quiet. Her eyes avoiding everyone, save for maybe Cleome.

Flash_Guardian nods to Glyniss, tucking the pencil back behind his ear as he measures a few more lines. "I'm sure Dev is around. I've never been one to keep track of him before, so I couldn't tell you where he is now, exactly. He did mention something about looking for a place to park his Hum-V ... his vehicle," Flash clarifies for Glyniss's benefit. "I'm sure he'll be back here later, after he gets hungry enough."

Flash_Guardian places the straightedge, then marks the line with his pencil before moving to a new place. A curious glance is shot back up to Aislinn, as she seems to have gone rather quiet and inactive recently. "You doing okay?" Flash would ask her, for lack of anything better to say to the woman.

Aislinn forced a plastered smile on her face as she looked to Flash. Her violet eyes showed her turmoil, though, unable to keep it hidden completely at times. "Yes, I am fine, thank you for your concern." More cutting. She didn't talk about Malenka threatening her, and Flash wouldn't have known of that part. But, she was obviously left uneasy by something.

Glyniss_McMasters chuckles at Blank..." Eas' up fello' I ain' agonna ter bit' yer" smiling as she looks back at Flash " shoo' wh' can' he par' ter thin' somewher' aroun' her'?" stuffing her hands back into her pockets leaning against a stack of wood...

Blank sulks over to the plans Flash had talked about and made a few notes here and there to hopefully give Flash a better idea on how the building blocks fit together. He shoots a look at Glyniss of 'oh really?'. "Your one of the few women that haven't." He sweatdrops.

Flash_Guardian glides over Aislinn's words, as mere words they seem to be. He shakes his head, eyes still on Aislinn. "Your words say you are fine, but your eyes say different. One doesn't have to be a mind reader to tell that you're still upset over something," Flash says gingerly, keeping up his diplomatic demeanor as best he can. "Don't suppose this has anything to do with that vampire girl that was here a bit earlier, would it? Ummm ... Malenka, wasn't that her name?" His work seems to have ceased for the moment, giving Aislinn time to catch up with him.

Glyniss_McMasters rises a brow at Blank never having met someone who sweatdrops so much...whatever it is....she nods " Yea' reall'..." she grins " Mayb' yer shouldn' invit' ter girlie' the'"..she nods to the plans.." yer goo' at tat sor' of thin' the'?"

Aislinn blinked and looked up at her sawing to Flash. She sighs, and admittedly nods now to him. "Yes, partially. I suppose it all stems from one thing." She glances back to the wood after making sure Synth was set carefully in Cleome's mane. The horse was slowly, grudingly, starting to like the little bird. "I tire of being threatened daily, I suppose. There is a lot...and I just want to try to get my mind off things for now."

Flash_Guardian shrugs to Glyniss, pencil and ruler still in hand. "I guess he could, if he wanted to. But you know Devaine ... there's always someplace more safe and secure, so why not a cave of some kind?" Looking back to Blank, Flash simply chuckles and shakes his head. "Don't worry, Blank, Glyniss isn't going to sprout fangs and try to sink her teeth into neck. As far as I know, there's only been one vampire on this island today, and she's long since gone, so just relax."

PhorenNarqu of course, did not respond. He was still wrapped up in receding layers of thought.

[Blank ] "Eh... A lot of my female friends are... A few eggs short of a dozen." He shrugs and glances back to the plans. "Yeah... It's my specialization. I'm better with creation of machines and other such things but not so much with housing. I can still give tips though."

BenjaminBlue pushes himself against the damp, sandy bar places his hands in his lap. His eyes wandered for a moment, glancing up to the noonday sun to consider whether he should remove his hat or not. Ben's complexion told you he didn't often go outside uncovered, his skin lacking a bit of the glow he would receive if he had. Giving a solemn nod, feeling as if to himself, Ben bowed his head and removed his feathered cap, pulling back some of the curls he had unleashed. After that, he simply looked over to Phoren and waited.

PhorenNarqu finally spoke, able to think a little clearer now. He did not move, however "She left me..."

Flash_Guardian ponders Aislinn's desires for a moment, rubbing his chin as he thinks. Unbeknownst to himself, he seems to be rubbing pencil lead all over his chin from his hands. Unaware of the now comical spot beneath his lips, he continues to offer guidance. "No better way to cease the threats than to approach the root of the problem. I would gladly offer you protection here on my island, but I'd feel more comfortable knowing just what it is I would be protecting you from." A glance is shot back to the plans now, seeing that Blank has made a few corrections here and there that make it seem completely illogical that the plans would have been drawn up differently in the first place. "Brilliant!" he mutters to himself. "Wish I'd thought of that beforehand..."

Aislinn , even in her unpleasant thoughts, found herself actually smiling as Flash rubbed pencil on himself on accident. Even the hint of a tiny laugh was heard. As he asked what, she sighed. "Even I do not know. Vampires perhaps? One that threatened yesterday seemed elven I think. I tire of it. It seems peace is an unheard concept about here."

[Blank ] "That's why I'm here, bud." He nods to Flash. "It should come together nicely now." He glances to Glyniss. "Eh... Anyway..."

BenjaminBlue ran his left finger over the plumage stuck within his colourful chapeau, hiding his eyes among the hangings of this yellowish, golden hair. "H'm..." he said, flicking the end of his feathers and he looked towards Phoren. "I'm sorry..." he quietly comforted to his friend, turning his attention back to the quill. "Why?" His inquieries were short, but not sweet in the least, not attempting to lighten their conversation at all. Blue just wanted to know what was going on.

PhorenNarqu didn't answer, and just shook, silently crying. After a minute he did respond "Because... Because I'm not worth the effort anymore... Because she gets threats..."

Blank gues Glyniss isn't there. Hmm... Well his player had better get going anyway. Peace out. "I'm outtie Flash. See you later." He waves to him before flickering away.

Flash_Guardian nods slowly, lost in deep thought for a moment. "Not too fond of vampires, eh? Sounds like someone else I know," he says, shooting a knowing look and a smirk in Blank's direction. "Thanks, Blank." Another look now is given to the woman as Flash plainly makes an offer. "I suppose I've already told you much about my plans for this island. I strongly disprove of unneccessary violence, and I intend to enforce higher standards here. If you are seeking peace, I could think of no better place for you than here ... except perhaps a holy temple of some kind. Vampires tend not to frequent such places."

Flash_Guardian frowns slightly, looking around for Glyniss, though he doesn't seem too worried. She would probably return shortly.

Aislinn gives him a serious look for a moment. "Not when they either are threatening me, or draining me." Her eyes looked down once more, but quickly look up again as he offers a place to stay. The lady, now, really had no place to go. Home was no option, for reasons that she was unwilling to speak of to anyone right now. Really, home didn't exist for her now. "You really would not mind?"

Flash_Guardian shakes his head to Aislinn, his demeanor one of friendly pride and happiness. "Not in the slightest. Heck, if you're willing, you could even be a student here, or even a teacher if you have sufficient skill. This isn't going to be just a place to learn the martial or exotic arts of warfare ... I also hope to teach magic, and help others reach enlightenment." Rather strange that one with such flashy dress and spiky hair should be speaking of enlightenment, really, but so it is. "You are welcome here for as long as you're willing to stay."

BenjaminBlue plucked his colourful quill from the violet gem pinned to his hat, letting it tumble across his fingers for a moment before he held it within the palm of his left hand. "Phoren..." he stared softly, setting his cap in his lap. "You fool yourself. You speak of nonsense. Do you truly think that you are so worthless?" Blue's brow bunched together as he asked the last question, his blue eyes now being cast upon Phoren. "You claim there is nothing you can do to stop it... You feel that you are completely helpless..." Ben said, taking taking a heavy breath, gently closing his hand over the decoration in his hand. "It is only so because you believe that to be true... Don't you understand that? You only fall victim to yourself... Can it really be so difficult for you to understand what you want? What you know to be your own hopes, dreams, expectations of the future? I pray that you do, but I am no longer certain..."

[PhorenNarqu ] "I want Aislinn..."

Glyniss_McMasters nods to Blank pushing away from the pile of wood to limp over....stopping when she seems him flicker and poof outta the place....geez men....she continues over to where the plans lay peering down still not making much sense of what's there reading the notes that the little guy had jotted down.

Aislinn managed a smile, one of the few true ones from her today. The thought of teaching and learning really seemed to appeal to her. "Well, perhaps I can enroll in some of the martial classes. I fear I am too unknowledged in that. I am, a herbalist...a healer and an empath. Perhaps there are some classes I could teach? I think I would like that a lot."

BenjaminBlue struck the ground with the silver gauntlet and narrowed his gaze, shaking his head slightly. "You have only rejected yourself!" he repremanded. "I have traveled with you, from the quaint comfort of the keep's tavern to the edge of the untamed wilderness! I have seen you conquer numerous and life threatening challenges! And you can not find the courage or strength to know what you want to be? To make things the way you want?" Ben averted his gaze, thinking back to the few times he had actually had to try and subdue Phoren, grimacing a bit. "What has happened to you...? I know I had not met you like this... Can you really be so helpless...? So sad...?"

[PhorenNarqu ] "You try being pinned to the ground, with nothing you can do about it... You try losing everything in the days after... Then you'll know what has happened to me..."

Flash_Guardian offers a glance to Glyniss now as she approaches. "Want to take your hand at some woodcutting?" he offers. "I think I can make my measuring go a bit quicker, if you'd like to keep busy with something." Flash grins back at Aislinn. "Whatever you feel you're capable with. Healer, you say? And an empath besides ..." Flash tilts his head and curls his lips in amusement, a facial gesture that only serves to call more attention to the dark mark of graphite on his upper chin from the pencil lead, a spot that Glyniss herself may not have noticed yet. "Not bad. Mainly my skills revolve around the martial arts area, as well as magical skill, though mine is not really the kind of magic one 'teaches'. I have a few other skills as well, but most of them seem to fit into the martial arts category or reinforce it somehow." He chuckles, quickly marking another line down. "I do play a pretty mean guitar and flute, if I do say so myself."?

Aislinn smiled more now, finding it creeping slowly over her lips. Being with friends, even if they were new ones, was always a good thing. "Yes, my abilities in...'different' things stem around defensive things. Healing, empathic, that sort of thing. Perhaps I can learn some martial moves from you, then? A lady becomes tired of being the damsel in distress." She said softly, going back to cutting while they spoke. A wider smile now. "I am told I play the lyre wonderfully. And Benjamin does play the harp very well. We should all play sometime!"

Glyniss_McMasters finger's the plans letting it follow what she thinks they have done so far with much comparing paper to the actual building ..a brow rised before a slight nod and looking back to the plans...only really half listening to the other two..head turning as Flash seems to speak to her....." Oh yea' sur' thin'....shoulda' ask' soone'" a smile as she begins limping over to where she sees a saw and wood...picking up a peice placing it on a surface edge before looking up at him again..." do I gues' ter lengt' ?"

Flash_Guardian laughs merrily. "Not only that, but you should hear Glyniss sing!" he says, before a thought hits him. "Oh, I guess you already heard her sing once, just after she woke up. I swear, there's almost something magical to that voice of hers," he tells Aislinn, shooting a sidelong glance to Glyniss secretively. "On a side note, I am hoping to put together a sort of celebration once the dojo is completed ... complete with live music, food, and even a few fireworks." Flash grins mischievously at the mention of the last thing.

BenjaminBlue shakes his head, letting his shining mane sway to the left and the right. "I will not accept that as an excuse. You think you are the only one to have sacrificed?" Ben took a deep breath, opening his hand again to look at the feathered percariously placed in his hand. "Things I have seen... People wandering in darkness, lost and unsure of where to turn... A glimmering light appearing in the mist beyond the gloom... It is hard to travel there if you can not see which path to take, but it is impossible to get there if one refuses to look for a way." Ben clamped down a couple of his velvetly fingers, keeping the wind from stealing his precious feather. "I am not saying you haven't tried... I don't know what to say. I see you know, quivering and shivering in the sands... Can you not be proud? Can you not be as noble as I had proclaimed you when we had first met?"

Aislinn smiled warmly now, nodding in agreement. "Indeed, miss Glyniss can certainly sing well! You do indeed.." She spoke both to Flash and Glyniss. She didn't know what the secretive glance to Glyniss from Flash was about, and figured it wasn't her business. "That sounds like a wonderful celebration."

Flash_Guardian shakes his head to Glyniss. "Just cut wherever I draw the marks," he instructs. "However, if I'm going to be keeping up with twice as many people, I should start moving twice as fast ..." Flash steadies himself now, laying the utensils aside for a moment and bringing his hands up close to himself, closing his eyes and preparing to cast a spell upon himself. Out come the hands in one slow, fluid motion, revolving in opposing circles in the air in front of Flash, slowly at first, then faster and faster, his fingertips beginning to glow with a potent reddish light that seems to trace separate spirals in the air. At a certain point, Flash's hand movements are a blur of motion and red light, seeming almost as if the two hands are going to collide before he flings on up into the air dramatically. A brilliant burst of red showers over Flash, and suddenly he gets back the measuring with incredible speed, indeed moving, measuring, and marking twice as quickly as before.

Glyniss_McMasters would shoot a look at Flash....lips tight..nodding to Aislinn as a smile slowly appears..." Thankee kindly girli" dropping a glance to what Aislinn had been sawing to glean what is needed.....pressing down firmly on one end of the wood now as he attention goes to her task...a few back and forward movements getting the teeth of the tool started before starting with earnest

Aislinn looked surprised, but impressed with the speed and magic, or whatever it was. She continued to cut with precision, her arm not seeming to have tired yet from the work. Cleome continued to place the boards in the piles, and would even collect Glyniss' if she let the mare.

[Flash_Guardian ] Apparently whatever magic is lending Flash such incredible speed also seems to quicken his mind as well, as the markings he draws are no less accurate than they have been before the magical augmentation. Even now as he moves, a slight reddish blur seems to follow in his wake just a little, as if moving too fast for his own aura to keep up with him. Another board of plywood is quickly drawn over with lines before Flash moves on to the next one. He speaks to the others, or tries to, but his voice is quickened also, making his words a bit difficult to understand even though he purposefully slows down his speech for their benefit. "Hey,haveeitherofyouseenBlue? Iwould'vethoughttohaveseenhimbynow."

Flash_Guardian is, in truth, a total speed-freak and adrenaline junkie.

[PhorenNarqu ] "Proud? You try being proud when you feel ashamed of everything you've ever done... And noble? Don't make me laugh..."

Glyniss_McMasters shakes her head as she pauses watching Flash's magic....and laughs returning to her sawing....reaching down for the planks as one is finished...a brow rising as she notices the shadow and looking over sees a horse by the wood pile...pausing in her work to watch what it was going to do she was well used to working with animals afterall she had been brought up with them..

Aislinn needed a minute to process his fast jumbled words. When she thought she had seperated the syllables to form coherent thoughts, she answered. "He was sleeping when I awoke, though Cleome says she did not see him when she passed by there a little earlier. Perhaps he went for a walk?" The bard/priest did love to travel. She wouldn't be surprised if he had. Though, slight worry did come into play. She couldn't help it.

Flash_Guardian nods rapidly to Aislinn, whether that was his intent or the magic at work. "Yeah, thatseemslikeBluetobeexploringlikethat. ForthatmatterIhaven'tseenCannonyeteither." Flash would quickly shrug before returning to his work, his earlier seriousness now replaced with a smile of contentment. There would be plenty of musicians now to offer their talents during what would no doubt be a wonderful celebration, and Flash had likely just acquired his first student. All in all, a good day was shaping up, with better promises in store.

BenjaminBlue turns away with an short and humorless snicker, gently pinning the feather back to the jeweled clasp on his hat. "I won't try to make you laugh... Clearly you have nothing to be happy about. But you should try being proud if only to try it. Whether or not you think it helps or not, I can only say that it does..." Ben snuggly fit his foppish hat over his head again and pushed himself to his feet, brushing off what sand had decided to cling to him. "I'm sorry I can't help you. I wish I could, but you leave me no option." Ben hunched down and lifted his shoes before slowly starting to step away from the sandbar, shaking his head as he did so.

Glyniss_McMasters looks up at the mention of Bluey...." Yer mea' ter preache' ma' abou'.?..." she shrugs" Shoo' shoulda guess' he woul' be" she tilts her head s little pausing and glancing at Flash before speaking..." Di' yer....kno' giv' 'em tat ite' fer me?"

PhorenNarqu continued to lie there, but slowly turned over, and stared at the sky. Watching the clouds float past

Aislinn blinked, looking to Glyniss, then back to Flash. Again, she paused, taking some time to process once more. Still cutting as she went, wondering if Glyniss would break out in song again soon. The lady wouldn't have minded, as she did indeed think her to have a wonderful voice. Aislinn's own voice was more suited to Celtic and Gaelic melodies. "Um...yes, Benjamin does. Aye, Cannon..." She frowned now. "He had an ache of the head yesterday. Then he suddenly disappeared. We had thought perhaps he would return, but so far he has not. This worries me.."

Flash_Guardian quickly nods to Glyniss. "Yep,Icertainlydid. SorryifIdidn'tremembertogetittohimsooner," he apologizes, quickly sketching out the next half of the wooden board. Measure, place, mark, move, measure, place, mark, move ...

Glyniss_McMasters looks at Aislinn unsure what she had done.....had she done something wrong ..quickly glancing down at herself to check she was okay....head turning as she grins at Flash " Aww...shoo' as lon' as he ago' it don' amatte' whe'....jus' weren' sur yer ha' yet" grinning as she reaches down for a plank of wood to saw...

[Flash_Guardian ] The pile of cut pieces of wood seems to be increasing at quite a decent rate. Flash continues to whip along, the only sounds now that he seems to make that of his metallic straight edge and pencil scraping across the surface of the wood, accompanied well by the sounds of twin saws hard at work. After a moment, though, he has a thought, one which he reveals to the other two women at a semi-normal pace for a change. "You know, IthinkIheard someonesay before thatthesounds ofabusyconstructionsite soundkindalike musicattimes."

BenjaminBlue took his first step back onto the grass, seating himself only a moment to put on his shoes. If anybody were there to witness him, one would guess that this simple task would be strangely stressful and time consuming to this man. In truth, Ben had drifted off for a moment, thinking of what few things came to his mind. " - I'm sorry... - " he thought to himself. " - Through the trials of life, one is only capable of two things. Success or failure... If something is done that is neither fully one or the other, it has not been overcome. One can only wish for absolution... Closure... It is all one has ever wanted. But one who can not help himself can not be helped by anybody he refuses... There lies futility and eventually failure. How hard life is... - " he finished thinking, finally fastening his shoe to his foot. With a heavy breath, Ben rose to his feet looking back once more to the shore, then towards where the dojo would lie. He stood silent for only a moment longer before going to camp.

Aislinn nodded now in thought at Flash's words. And no, she hadn't looked at Glyniss for anything negative. Just kind of silently remarking about Flash's speech speed. It was sort of amusing. Again, the teeth of the saw continued to make the distinct sounds as she cut through each plank. "That is true. Most sounds can be turned to music, if one listens carefully. Crickets are good for such too.."

Glyniss_McMasters smiles finger flicking the brim of her stetson before going back to work just listening to the others..her world was music she didnt see the need to say so all she had to do was close her eyes and there would be the sounds....the rapture..all consuming ever faithful

Flash_Guardian mmm's to himself, a very brief pause in his work while he thinks of something. "Youknow, oneofthesounds Ilikethemost actuallyhappenstobe thesound oftheraininthetrees. Idon'tknowwhy, butI'vealwayslikedit. Verysoothing andpeaceful. Iimaginesitting sofar outovertheocean, therains willcomefrequentlyhere. Aislinn smiled a little, nodding, cutting still, her eyes fixed on the wood. "The ocean...the waves. Those are my favorite sounds. The tinkling of ornate earrings. The sound of horse hooves. I guess I am fond of sounds that are linked to good memories."

[Flash_Guardian ] The wood is now probably so far done as to need to be stacked in two piles ... if Flash were to stop and check, he would say the cutting process would be almost halfway done.

Flash_Guardian grins at Aislinn, back to his quick excited voice. "Wellluckyyou, youcanhaveallthreerighthere!" he says, his laughter sounding completely ridiculous at double speed. "AlthoughI'mnotsureifGlyniss'snewnecklacesoundsthesameastheearringsyou'dremember."

BenjaminBlue moved at a sluggish pace, kicking the occasional stone form his path as he walked. As he had been seen many times before, one hand was perched below his chin while the other rested in the small of his back, his usual thoughtful face bringing his scholarly demeanor to a finish. "Strange..." he hummed as he passed the bush he had awoken in. "Or is it? Perhaps such refusal to acknowledge certain aspects of life has left me somewhat blind..." Ben lifted his gaze from his immediate path and looked ahead, his pace still and steady. "Innocence and ignorance are strange things... Often times disguising one as the other, but why? Is it fear...?" he asked himself, now becoming started to appear within view as he proceeded absently onward. "It must be... What reason otherwise would one have to do such a thing? Out of pride? Perhaps..." he talked to himself. "Strange... So many costumes... So many masks. And what of those who wear no mask?" At that point, Ben chuckled to himself as a few people came to mind.

Aislinn shook her head a little with a smile. "Nay. The earrings my mother wore were make of fine precious metal. Not that the necklace is any less pretty than them. But the metal makes a higher pitched sound, like silver bells..." She whispered. That is what they reminded her of. Tiny silver bells. She frowned now, concentrating on the work even more. What of Benjamin? And what of Devaine and Cannon? None of them had shown up yet. Cleome continued to take the wood from her and Glyniss, and had made more piles now.

Flash_Guardian spots Blue at last appearing in the clearing, calling to him with his magically quickened voice. "Heya,Blue! Abouttimeyoushowedup! Where'veyoubeen?" And, as before, measure, place, mark, move ...

Glyniss_McMasters straightens at Flash's rapid speech....suddenly bursting out laughing as it dawns on her how she most pose difficulties in understanding what she's saying just as she is with Flash now....hand reaching up as she wipes a sleeve across her forehead removing the sweat that had gathred there in fine beads of droplet water....eyes settling on Bluey as Flash utters his name...a nod to the man " Howdy preache' ma'.." chuckling as she gets back to work...she had in all trueth forgotten about the necklace though she had been extremely pleased with it

BenjaminBlue glanced up, hearing the sound of his name hastely being called. "Ah..." he said with a smile. "There is one now," he said warmly, greeting Flash and everybody else in view with a wave of his hand. "I do not believe I have really been anywhere of signifigance. The ocean's edge, the grassy plains, I have been around." Ben approached the site and inspected what work as being done.

Aislinn found her slender arm having gotten plenty sore now, but she wouldn't stop. This female was liable to work herself to death, if it could somehow make her feel an iota better. As she heard the name Blue in Flash's jumble, her violet eyes looked up, and darted around as she stopped cutting for a moment.

Aislinn placed the saw down for a moment as those violet eyes looked to Blue. Concern was showed in them. "You gave me worry... I know you travel oft, but I did not know where you had disappeared to..." She looked back down, and took up the saw in her sore hand, going back to work.

Flash_Guardian decides that, with Blue's arrival, it's high time for a break. He sets down his utensils and quickly makes his way over to his canteen, quickly uncapping it and tipping it up over his head to let the water trickle down into his mouth from above. He brings a hand up to whack the bottom of the canteen impatiently, as if it will make the water flow faster. Apparently the water isn't coming quite fast enough in his hasted state.

[Flash_Guardian ] ((Actually, it looks like it's time for me to head for bed. I'll assume that with everyone's efforts we'll manage to get the remaining boards cut by the end of the day, so next time Flash will be able to start hammering everything into place up over the roofs. As for me, I'm going to call it a night.))

BenjaminBlue quickly shifted his gaze to Aislinn and took a step towards the ongoing construction. "I have not even so much as set foot off of this island, dear Aislinn," he remarked. His sparkling eyes started to casully glide over the structure, examining the western wing. "You needn't worry. Everything is alright."

Glyniss_McMasters smiles being careful not to let the wooden piece split she had been sawing gently easing the sawed piece off to drop to the ground as she picks the other end up and tosses it onto the pile...straightening as she stretches her back a little having been bent over sawing for some stime now
