Flash_Guardian sits at the center of the construction site, outside what will soon be the interior of the dojo, seated in cross-legged fashion next to a large, round, and flat piece of brass. A single hand rests upon the gong's surface, and his eyes are closed in some sort of deep concentration. His right hand upon the gong is surrounded by a subtle yellow glow, as is the entire brass object itself. Around the clearing, aside for a handful of birds in the trees, all is quiet.
Flash_Guardian continues to meditate as the sun shines down into the clearing from above, unceasing in whatever it is he's doing.
BenjaminBlue a small dark image started to come into view as he stared into the white light. Ben shut his eyes and concentrated further, staring deeper into his vision. The dot would start to come into focus now, the island. A thin mist slowly creeped across the land, one crisp and cold. As the mist approached the building site, a lone foot would descend from it mysterious innards, then another. The being started to push its way from the fog and stood in silence for only a moment or so as the mist started to dissapate. Ben held the brim of his hat with one velvety hand as he looked over, curious of the progress of the project. His steady gaze would evnetually fall upon Flash sitting at its center. Ben let his hand slowly fall to his side and he would beging to walk towards his friend. " Ah... Does the project near completion my dear friend? I would hope you have not worked to hard... " said ane echoing voice from this man. Blue rocked to a halt and looked toward Flash with a cleverly hidden smile.
Flash_Guardian slowly opens one eye just a little, stirring in his meditation as he peers at the fog that seems to be mysteriously rolling in. "Odd," he says softly, voicing his curiousity at the abrubt change in the weather. Upon hearing the holy man's voice, he smiles, turning his head to look up from the twelve foot diameter gong laid over the grass beside him to gaze instead at his friend, Blue. "It progresses steadily and swiftly for so small a crew," Flash explains briefly. "But as for me, I've been busy here with another task that proves a bit less taxing." A nod is given to the brass gong near Flash, surrounded by a pale yellowish aura.
BenjaminBlue took a step towards the gong mentioned by Flash, dragging one foot behind him as he stirred. The yellow aura around the instrument perplexed him slightly, having only an educated guess what its purpose might be. Blue crossed his arms together, tapping one metallic finger as he slightly tilted his head forward and back again to show he understood. " I am glad then. It lifts me up on high to see you so dedicated to this, Flash. I almost envy your ambition I dare say... " Blue pivoted around on his back heel and shot proud and somewhat happy smile to Flash. " Perhaps you would find it worthy to spare a moment of time to rest? Or shall I let you continue? "
Flash_Guardian thinks for a moment, glancing back down the gong which he seems to be 'working' on at the moment. "Hmmm ... not just yet. The magical energies that I'm currently lacing the gong with haven't quite set into place yet for the day ... almost, though. Give me a few minutes and I'll be ready to stop for the evening. Unless you'd care to find a seat somewhere around here?" Flash gestures around with his free hand at several crates and stacks of lumber nearby, any of which could possibly serve as a potential, if slightly uncomfortable, seat.
BenjaminBlue looks about the area, to all of the offered seats, an pulls his hat forward slightly with his right hand, covering the top of his face. Ben bent his knees and pushed gently off the ground, now levitating in the air. Blue merely crossed one leg over the other and folded his hands together in a manner one would call very lady like. " Very good. Please continue. I shall wait until you are finished, " he said in uncommonly soothing voice. If one would have paid a lot of attention to his face, a faint sheene of amber would shine over his normally blue eyes.
Lafiel looks around, walking among the trees. she doesn't notice Ben or Flash hidden among the trees, and she watches Dakin romp in the fallen leaves. she leans against a tree, and looks at the sky through the leaves.
BenjaminBlue casually looked about the island, certain thoughts of what this place was to become once finished. A monument was being built here. Although the question of what this place would stand to represent had crossed his mind but a few times, it was his understanding that it was a noble and righteous thing to work towards nevertheless. With a extended breath to clear his thoughts, Blue reached to his side to retrieve his decorated lapharp. Almost as if he and the instrument were one, he let his fingers glide across the glistening strings to produce a beautiful sound. It was not meant to be a song or ballad, but something to pass the time.
Lafiel hears the music, and walks towards it, looking for it's source. she comes upon the clearing and sees Ben and FLash. she offers them a small smile in greeting, and Dakin prances around as if dancing to the music. the Elf sits on the ground, and places her bow and quiver beside her, out of the way. she doesn't want anyone to accidentally touch her bow and get hurt.
Flash_Guardian continues to focus on his gong for the moment, silently imbuing it with magic potential. At the sound of Blue's music, he smiles, though his eyes remain closed for a few moments longer while he finishes his work. He doesn't even hear Lafiel approach from where he sits, especially with Blue's music filling the air ... introductions will have to wait until today's work is complete.
BenjaminBlue glances to the side, noticing Lafiel out of the corner of his eye. A small smile would grace his lips as he returned Lafiel's silent greeting, his fingers still dancing across the golden strands. Blue bowed his head, letting his hair cascade down in front of him as he began to weave a song. The twinkling notes of his harp, although beautiful, sounded a melancholy tune. His melody was that of a dirge, a song of grief and rememberance. Although it would scarcely be clear as to what his performance would be attributed to, it was certain that he had lost himself within his creation as he slowly let his head rise, his eyes closed shut to see the image within his mind's eye. It carried emotion and it could certainly be felt upon the wind as he played.
Flash_Guardian slowly leans forward amidst the music now, placing both hands upon the surface of the gong, forehead creasing as his magical concentration reaches a focal point. Both hands now begin to glow a bit more brightly, the same vibrant yellow. Faint circles of yellow light begin to appear in the air surrounding the gong. Slowly, each circle seems to shrink in towards the center of the gong as energy seems to gather. The pale yellow aura seems to flicker and brighten.
Lafiel wonders at the sorrowfulness of the song. she lowers her head, allowing her hair to fall forward and hide her face, lost in thought. her colorless eyes close for a moment, then she looks up when she senses some sort of power in use. she watches Flash curiously, wondering what he's doing.
BenjaminBlue delicately plucked the coda of his mystical song, keeping himself silent as the last of his music carry across the land before it would fade and vanish. Blue took an audible quickened breath as his fingers slid down the golden strings of his harp, resting his other hand upon the crest of his instrument. Blue leaned upon it as if it were his dearest relative, taking comfort that he was within its embrance if there ever was such a thing. A lone tear dropped, hidden beneath the cover of his golden man. Blue wouldn't allow it to show how he lamented. Blue ran the back of hand over his face and straigthened his posture again, showing little trace of his condition. It was not his place to impose nor subject anybody to his selfish feelings, so he would stay quiet for now.
[Flash_Guardian ] The circles of yellow light seem to come faster and brighter now, the light getting sucked into the center of the gong in a steady rhythm. A powerful yellow flare begins to build there, so bright it's almost white, Flash's hands doing much the same. Just after the critical point where sufficient magical energy gathers, there is a brilliant flash! When the burst of light subsides, all that is seen is Flash, leaning over the gong and holding himself up with both arms, spending some effort to catch his breath.
Flash_Guardian at last looks up, glancing to Lafiel and nodding to her in greeting at last. "Good afternoon, ma'am." Flash then looks up to Blue suspiciously. "Alright, you. Out with it." With that, the floor is given to Blue to explain himself and his not-so-cheery tune.
Lafiel stands and walks over to Ben. it didn't take a genius to know the man was hurting, just someone with keen eyes. she tentatively places a hand on his shoulder. before she could speak, the light suddenly flashes. her eyes automatically adjust to the light, completely unaffected, and her body aborbs the light. brushing it off, she turns to Ben. "are you alright?"
BenjaminBlue brushes back a bit of his hair as his two glassy blue eyes afix themselve towards those who had inquired of him and the quality of his characcter, Flash and Lafiel. His mouth would drop open once or twice, but no words would manage to escape him. It was hard for him to find a way to say what was on his mind, and even more difficult to tell somebody of his troubles. His eyes closed half-way shut as he lowered his gaze to the ground and gave a very slight shake of his head, clutching his harp a little closer to him. "Nothing... Just bad memories..." he said in a whisper of a voice. Blue didn't bother to look up to them again, either out of embaressment or shame, it was hard to tell. "Never mind... It should be resolved with time. Please, carry on. I don't wish to be a burden."
Lafiel shrugs. "you're not a burden, but if you want to be left alone, alright." she walks back to her seat, and wraps her arms around her drawn up knees. she looks up at the sky, trying to push away her own bad memories. she sighs, and rests her chin on her knees. her face remains stoic and emotionless, not showing any of her thoughts.
Flash_Guardian sighs, wishing perhaps he hadn't pressed the matter after all. Slowly he pushes himself up to a standing position, dusting himself off and brushing the grass away from his pant legs and his bum. The grass where he has been sitting still bears an outline of where Flash has sat, probably for a great length of time. He wipes a bit of sweat from his forehead, smiles to Blue briefly, then turns to other matters in order to take the spotlight off of Blue for a moment, giving him whatever time he seeks. Namely he addresses Lafiel as any good host should. "Welcome to Redfang Island," he greets her, giving a short bow and a smile. "Is there anything I can help you with? Perhaps an explanation as to the construction in progress in the background?" Flash gestures to the massive wooden framework behind him with a thumb.
Lafiel looks up at Flash and slightly smiles to him. "thank you, Sir. i appreciate your welcome, but i don't need anything. and i know what you're building already. i was present when the initial construction began."
BenjaminBlue once more brings his sleeve across his face before giving a gentle nod. With the utmost care and grace, the instrument slides up his arm and hangs from his shoulder to rest until needed in the future. The invisible seat the foppish priest precariously perched himself on seemed to waver slightly as he steadied himself with one arm before hopping back to the ground. Blue bow forward as he straightened and dusted his vestments, standing with a straight back and hand clasped together in his usual manner. " Much better, " he said to himself as he shifted his attention back between Flash and Lafiel.
Flash_Guardian watches Blue sidelong as he 'hops down' from his aerial perch, but keeps his curiousity on Lafiel for the moment. "Surely you're not here just to watch, are you? I mean, not much is going on at the moment ... I'm a bit shy on workers presently." Flash simply shrugs. "Well, since you have no questions of your own, perhaps I might ask one of mine. What brings you back here exactly? I mean, I've seen you around before, if memory serves me correctly." Flash simply folds his arms and politely awaits the woman's answer.
Lafiel nods. "yes, i've seen you as well. perhaps you remember Dakin." she gestures to the two tailed fox demon scampering about. "i'm just a wanderer. i go where my feet take me. and unless you want some help, yes, i meant to watch. i'm a watcher by nature and, er, former profession." she moves her bow closer to her.
Flash_Guardian lifts his head slightly, grinning a little. "I see." A smile is given to the two-tailed fox nearby. "So that fox is yours, then. Dakin is his name, is it?" Flash laughs lightly, then looks back to Lafiel. "I'm always in need of willing hands to help work on the dojo," Flash explains. "As far as I'm concerned, no questions need be asked. If you can swing a hammer or use a saw, just ask me and I'll show you where and how."
Flash_Guardian frowns a little. "Just don't expect much in the way of a reward, I'm afraid," he adds. "I'm working on an idea, but it isn't much at the moment."
Lafiel nods. "i'm sure i'll get the hang of it. and no payment is required, don't worry about it."
BenjaminBlue twirls the end of his mustache as he idly looks into the sky, a passing thought becoming wedged within his mind. " Now that it has been brought to out attention, I also recall seeing you on many different occasions as well... Keeping your explorative nature as one given reason, I would wonder to myself why else you would often appear amidst us. I hope my thoughts aren't offending, but it just had to be said aloud. " Blue hadn't forgotten when he had first seen her. He was drunk and angry that night. Being that he met with her on such an occasion, he thought it best to try and respect her space as much as possible.
Flash_Guardian nods happily. "Well, alright, then. Perhaps you'd like to take a look at the blueprints? I think the next logical step is to build the framework for the roofs to go over the four wings and the central arena." With that, Flash begins to walk over to his things, where the blueprints are currently resting. "The next few steps will be a little complicated, but I think we'll be able to manage without too much trouble as long as we're careful."
Lafiel looks over at Ben. "i go where i go, not even i know where i will end up. i don't mean to offend anyone by being here. if i am, i'll leave. and you're not offending me. it takes a lot to offend me."
BenjaminBlue raises both hands and shakes his head in one awkward motion with the friendly smile of a foolish man. "No, no, no, no," he said in rapid succession, his tone particularly high. "No offend nobody within your company. I just think you to be such a mystery... Perhaps I should just let some things remain unsaid, yes?" he said in a sheepish tone as he brought his hands together again.
Lafiel tilts her head to one side slightly. "a mystery? hn, i'm not a mystery. feel free to ask whatever you like, but be warned, i may not answer." she turns to Flash. "where should i start?"
Flash_Guardian glances from the blueprints to a few triangular wooden frames that he seems to have started nearby, propped up against a pair of trees at the edge of the clearing. "Well, I have a couple more of these triangular pieces to put together, just like the rest of these." Flash nods once. "I guess I'll cut the boards to their proper length, if you're willing to hammer them together. Hammer's resting over against one of the frames, nails are in one of the open boxes over there." Flash points out the materials, then rests his hands on his hips, grinning cheerfully. "Sound good?"
BenjaminBlue lets out a slight chuckle before turning away from both of them, gritting his teeth together slightly as mockingly commented himself for his efforts. "Brilliant..." he said quietly to himself before turning back around to look to the pair, a cheerful smile on his face as he waited to see what would be done.
Flash_Guardian doesn't wait for Lafiel's agreement. He just turns toward a pair of sawhorses and a stack of lumber. Moments later, he's grabbed a saw and a board, checking the blueprints and making proper measurements.
Lafiel looks at the triangular pieces, then raises her arm. the hammer floats over to her, as do a good amount of nails. she turns to Flash. "sounds good."
BenjaminBlue blinks as both take a tool in hand and walk towards the construction site. It was a well known fact that hard labor was not one of Ben Blue's strong points. Heck, young girl would be able to subdue the man with one well place swoop. Was he proud of this? Maybe a little. Ben gave a quick nod with a serious face as he slapped his hand together, planting both feet firmly in the ground. "Very well then. I shall aid in this endeavor as well," he said in an uncharacteristicly deep voice. His head quickly jerked to one side as he looked about the land, his hand keeping whatever light would cloud his vision. "Ah! And I'm on my way!" he shouted in a boistrous tone as he bounded away from the site, arms and legs moving in circles as he moved towards destinations unknown.
Flash_Guardian nods to Lafiel, and gets to work. He measures out a length of board, then stacks them up side by side. With a pencil and a long straight edge, he marks the same length off the entire stack on both sides. A few moments later, Flash focusses himself briefly, calling forth a bit of red magical energies to the palms of his hands, then placing them on his chest. A red glow suffuses Flash for a moment ... and then his movements are a seeming blur as he seems to move at twice normal speed! The saw is taken up, and the boards are all sliced through in a manner of seconds.
Flash_Guardian pauses just long enough to raise a curious eyebrow at the departing Blue ... then just as quickly resumes his expedious sawing.
Lafiel arches her brow to the quickly retreating Ben. "is he afraid of hard work or something?" she gets to work nailing the boards together the way Flash had told her to, relying quite a bit on her telekineses. she wasn't used to such work herself, but she had told the man she would help, and she never went back on her word. it truly wasn't that hard anyways.
BenjaminBlue continued on his giddy quest, a gaze of unshakable determination and dedication looking for the object of his fancy. The bard took lengthy steps across the grassy ground, moving in an exagerated and comical manner completely contrary to his previous mood. "It simply must be here somewhere..." he said, a good distance away from the site as he jogged. All of a sudden, his eyes would widen and he would skip along the ground to come to a halt. He rose up on his tip-toes, having moved a bit to fast and stopped a bit to early, using his spiraling arms to keep from falling flat on his perfect face. "Careful! Careful now!" he called himself as if he were a spectator in his shananigans. He finally rocked back onto his heels and let out a relieved sigh, happy not to have injured himself. Now his attention would return to what he had been searching for. Slowly, he crept closer and closer, hand stretched out to grab his treasure.
Flash_Guardian shrugs, having finished the current set of boards. He quickly scoops them up and begins carrying them to an open section of ground to lay them out as they will need to be fitted together, still moving in double time, though as he answers Lafiel, his voice is normal, if a bit quick. "Well, if I know Blue like I think I do, I don't think this is his kind of work. Nothing to be afraid of, though. This sort of business can be very rewarding ... gives a sense of accomplishment." The pieces are arranged in a broad sort of square. "I'm Flash, by the way. In case you need something to call me by and hadn't heard my name earlier."
Lafiel nods. "Blue is his name, then? well, by the music he played eariler, i would assume him to be a bard of some sort, so i s'pose he'd want to take care of his hands as well as he possibly can." she notes both their names and stores them away. "i'm Lafiel d'Altyra." she twitches her fingers and some nails fly over to the boards Flash had lined up and stood up straight, waiting to be driven into the wood, which Lafiel did with hard, preices strokes.
Flash_Guardian steps away and lets Lafiel have her way with the boards and nails, quickly getting back to the measuring and cutting. Simply amazing how a bit of magic can help construction along. "I suppose that makes sense. Pleased to meet you, Lafiel the wanderer," he answers with a chuckle. "And don't worry, after I get this place built, wanderers of all sorts will be welcome to stay ... provided they can abide by a few simple rules." More pieces are measured and swiftly cut, a process that takes no longer than a minute.
BenjaminBlue flashed a wide grin as he scooped the valuables into his side bag, taking special care that no harm would come to something so precious. Blue pushed on his knees and rose to his feet again, wiping his gloved hands with a smug look on his face. "Excellent. Sweet victory," he said, sounding satisfied with himself. His smile started to face as his gaze moved around his whereabouts, causing him to take of his hat and scratch his head. He didn't recall seeing the ocean near the site. Blue tapped one finger against his chin as he looked down. The sea water was up to his ankle and his shoes were soggy as pudding. "Oh, bother!" he said with a squishy stomp, walking back towards the sands of the beach. "Well, now that the deed is done, I suppose I should return," he said in the same deep voice as before, shaking his feet as he walked on hard earth again. After bringing his arms back, Blue rushed off again to bring his treasure back to the group.
Lafiel looks up when she hears the title he'd called her by, then shrugs. it was better than her actual title, or rather, former title. she continues to form the boards into the shape Flash needs. "i'm glad to hear that about your place. wanderers need places to go just like everyone else. more so really. they wouldn't be wanderers without anywhere to go." more nails float to her as she continues her work, not looking up.
Flash_Guardian wastes no time in casting a spell of his own, this time bring his magic to bear upon the boards he had just cut. The boards slowly lift into the air, then move out to the same patch of ground as before. The boards are telekinetically laid out in crosswise pattern inside the first square, breaking up the original into nine rectangular sections. Once Flash has them laid how he wants them, he simply picks up the next batch of lumber and starts cutting once more, trusting Lafiel to do her thing. "I've done the wandering thing for a long time ... while, I guess you couldn't really call it wandering, as I did have a place to go home to. I just hardly spent any of my time there ... mostly by choice. Flash smiles as more boards are swiftly measured and cut. "I gotta admit, this is a lot easier with a spare set of hands. Thanks." An appreciative smile is given as the saw in Flash's hands bites quickly through wood.
Lafiel shrugs, returning his smile, though hers is very small like usual. "it's no problem. i had nothing else to do." she moves on to the next set of boards and the nails line up where they're needed as she pounds them in. "i have no home, so the wandering bit is my only choice. i'm not really the settling down type, if you know what i mean."
BenjaminBlue would appear to be a small dot on the horizon as he sprinted back towards the encampment, waving one hand in the air to make a spectacle of himself as he returned. His otehr hand was clamped down on top of his hat to keep the winds from stealing it from him. "Ah ha!" he exclaimed between breaths. "Could it really have been so easy?" he shouted enthusiastically as he approached the outskirts of the camp. Blue pushed himself off a rise in the rock and tumbled forward, his hat now taking to the air as he seemingly flew across the ground. With surprising grace and agility, Blue landed both of his hand on the ground and suspended himself in a handstand, catching his hat on his left foor and he scuttled towards the pair hard at work. "Ha ha!" he laughed again, coming to another rising. Ben bent his arms and pushed himself up like a human spring, vaulted himself into the air and landed on his feet with a loud thud. He kept his head down as he sat in a crouched position.
Flash_Guardian nods, rotating the four freshly cut boards, though these are a bit shorter. He then proceeds to cut notches in the ends of the boards at various angles ... it looks a bit tricky. "You know, that's the weird thing," Flash comments, keeping at his work. "I never would have thought of myself as the settling down type, either. But after I get this dojo built, I'll have a home. A place to call my own. And if I don't look after it, who will? So I guess I'll have to settle down," Flash finishes the last cut, setting the saw aside and lifting the boards once more with his magical levitation, moving them into place to where the boards fit on the outer corners, bent in towards the center, the cut notches fitting neatly over the existing assemblage of boards. "But the weirdest part of that ... is that I think I'm okay with that." Flash keeps a single hand extended, holding the boards aloft with his magic until Lafiel proceeds to hammer them into place among the rest of the assembly.
Flash_Guardian turns his head to the side, watching Blue's crazy antics ... apparently the man was just as flexible, maneuverable, and energetic as Flash himself. "Now I know why I like you so much, Blue," Flash calls after the man with a chuckle, though he looks up into the air trying to determine what fate will befall Blue's hat at the moment ...
BenjaminBlue rose to his feet and lifted his gaze towards the sky above him. His stylish chapeau harmless floated downward like a scarlet leaf in Fall. With one quick motion, Blue reached up and snatched his hat beforing bowing to his quaint audience. "Ah... Thank you. Thank you all so much..." he said in a showmanistic voice, waving to his crowd. "As I was once told by a man of unfathomable wisdom, if you can not defeat them, join them!" he said in a cheery tone. The sound of Blue's squishy shoes would call attention to itself as he shifted, unstrapping his sidebag and placing it on the ground. His smile only grew more gleeful as he admired their progress. "Amazing! Much has been done already? I am... without words," he gasped, holding back a fake tear.
Lafiel moves onto the next set. the work was going by quickly, and she soon moves on to the boards Flash is holding up. "i'm glad you found a place to call home, Sir Flash. truly, i'm happy for you." she turns to Ben, wondering what he'd gone to do. the squishy sounds she heard told her he had been at the water. she eyes the sidebag for a moment, then returns to her work. "indeed, Sir Blue. much has been done. but much remains to be done."
Flash_Guardian shakes his head and smirks at Blue. "Nothing amazing, really. Lafiel and I have been using magic to help things along, so I guess you could say we've been cheating." Flash chuckles in a guilty manner, shrugging. "But not nearly so much as I suppose Cannon has been. Not that I mind. As long as the place gets built, and some significant effort gets put into it, I'll be satisfied." Flash quickly turns his attention to whatever it is in Blue's bag, trotting over to get a closer look ... Blue may notice that Flash seems to be moving twice as fast as normal, perhaps due to some form of magic.
Flash_Guardian notes that he keeps a hand oriented in the direction of the boards until Lafiel finishes nailing them into place. Heh.
BenjaminBlue twils around and holds his hands over side bag protectively, shaking a finger at his stalker. "Now, now, now... What is this? Do I sense a tinge of curiousity from you, Sir Flash?" Blue took a couple of squishy steps back and glanced down to his bag once more, a mischivious smirk starting to grow. "I suppose you would like to see inside, would you?" he taunted, moving one hand from the top of his vault of cloth. "Well, I'm not so sure... It could be quite dangerous inside..." he continued in a mocking tone, the same smile on his face still there.
Flash_Guardian takes a couple of tentative steps back from Blue now, though his eyes remain upon the bag with even more interest than before. "Geez, Blue, you make it sound like there's some kind of wild animal in there or something," Flash says, arcing his neck this way and that, pretending to be trying to look around Blue's shielding hands.
Lafiel doesn't really care what's inside Blue's bag. she's completely focused on the task at hand, finishing the floating boards quickly but accurately. she looks around, seeing that all the boards that have already been cut have been nailed together. she patiently waits for Flash to finish his conversation with Blue, and watches Dakin play in the tall grasses nearby.
BenjaminBlue tilts his head to one side and feigns deep thought before shaking his head. "Not quite a wild beast, but it could lead to the creation of one..." Blue reached inside with one hand and withdrew three star-shaped pieces of fruit, all balanced within his fanned fingers. "These are absolutely delectable! I wouldn't be at all surprised if it could cause one to frenzy like a wild animal," he said as he started to juggle the scrumptious fruits, reaching twice more to add another three to his act. "Am I correct nobody should work on an empty stomach, or do I seem a bit dillusional?" he asked, even going so far as he let one or two fruits land on the rim of his hat before they would rejoin the rest of the meal.
Flash_Guardian lights up visibly as he spots the fruits in Blue's hands. "Star fruits?" Flash's mouth starts watering almost immediately. A quick glance is shot back to Lafiel. "What's say we take five and see if we can't get those delicacies away from Blue, shall we?" A naughty smirk crosses Flash's face. Uh-oh ... looks like there might be trouble soon.
Lafiel looks over at Blue. "that wild perfomance was over some sort of food?" she arches a brow the same color blue as her hair. she shrugs to Flash. "if you want, go for it." she conjurs something that looks like a plum, except it's slightly bigger and a greenish color.
BenjaminBlue flashes a smug smile to Flash and lets his luncheon fall into his hands as he lowers himself to the ground. Blue also retrieves three white coconuts which he had gathered from his escapade as well. His smug look quickly replaced itself with an uneasy smile as he caught Flash's smirk. In a match between Flash and Blue, it would be no competition who would be the victor. "I'm not one to dirty my hands as you well know. So I decided to make the best of what I had and fetch something that would be of use. I do hope everybody will enjoy them," he said happily, pivoting to the side to take off his spongey footwear.
LunaShotaku enters looking around a sigh coming to her lips, red hair flowing down her back her silver eyes were dim, as her white robe billowed around her in the light breeze spotting a clearing she tilted her head as other patrons came into ew, heading over the grees grew lighter, sunlight brither fora brief moment her hand came up to shield her eyes seeing flash she gawked, for she had mistaked him for her little Daie, almost running up to him forgetting her manners she looked up at him.."D-DAIE!" put her hands on her hips, "I thought you said you liked being a kid!"
Lafiel looks at Luna oddly. she thought the man had said his name was Flash. she looks between them for a moment, then returns to her food, paying the conversation no more mind.
Flash_Guardian just grins. "Alright then ... more for me." With that, Flash whips through the air as a blur, stopping short to stand defiantly over Blue with his arms crossed. "Alright, you," he says in a mock menacing tone. "You'd better share your tasties with me ... or else!" Flash narrows an eye at Blue, trying to seem threatening in a melodramatic way.
Flash_Guardian gives the approaching woman a very confused look. "Huhh?!" Whatever sense of threat Flash once posed has been replaced by total confusion. "I ... I'm sorry, miss. Who is this ... Daie person?" Flash blinks once or twice, looking the woman over.
LunaShotaku 's silver eyes narrowed for a second, was she just brushed off? Confusion seeped off of her as she stood there blankly, yup looks like it, she wasn't mad though it happened all the time, perhaps that wasn't Daie, it couldn't be, noticing he had actually replied after a while she blinked again...."I- Well.......Daie is my adoptive son, you look an aweful lot like him, his full name is Daie_Gaurdian, actually no - you look more like his real father, and don't get me wrong I love Daie with all my heart he's such a sweet little boy, but I hate both his parents, before I found him they beat him to no limit -" she cut her self off tilting her head to the side adding a mental kick to her behind, she was rambling, why oh why did she always do that?
BenjaminBlue holds his hands between himself and Flash with a timid smile. "I am trembling!" he said with some added theatrics. "I would only ask you to spare my pride and joy. Please do me this favor..." With his gauntlet pinned to his forehead, Blue hold out his hat as if in terrible agony. Of course, a small smile crossed his lips as he opened his eyes. To his surprise and embarressment, he had failed to notice the maiden who had approached the group to rebuke Flash. Suddenly, he just simply froze. He couldn't think of any alternative. His mind was racing as he cursed himself for being caught in something less than debonaire. How embarressing...
Lafiel looks curiously at the woman again. she wonders what she's talking about, but doesn't ask, as this is really none of her business. in attempt to give them some sense of privacy, the Lunar Elf walks towards the trees, where her kitsune is, and sits by him, watching him play.
Flash_Guardian nods slowly, taking all of the red-haired woman's words in stride. "I see. Well, no worries. An honest mistake. My name is Flash, actually, and I don't have any children," he explains with a chuckle. "Welcome to Redfang Island." A polite nod is given to the woman, then without any further words, Flash speedily nabs one of the much coveted star-fruits and hops away to sit atop a pile of lumber, his motions a blur as he is still augmented by his quickening spell. He hungrily digs into the fruit, peeling it slowly and sucking on the tear, not wanting to waste any juice.
LunaShotaku nodded to Flash before he suddenly dissapeared, more confusion clouded her silver gaze, turning about she noticed she was standing inbetween to people, Flash and well - that other guy, turning around she looked sheepishly to the other, "Forgive me" she said in as soft a voice as she could muster, "was I interupting spomething?" her concsious was having a field day, HELLOOOOO CAN YOU NOT SEE THAT YOU WERE!! My god woman pull your self together or i'm leaving!" heh with the mental message from her sapossed concsious she scratched the back of her head chuckling a little nervously, pitiful really a full grown woman acting all - not so womanly AW well can't have em all.
BenjaminBlue slowly brings his feathered cap back to him, running one velvetly hand down his face as he shook his head. "Goodness gracious..." he said to quietly to himself. Blue allowed his brilliant blue eyes to rest upon Luna for a moment before he quickly averted his gaze. "Well, dear lady..." he started, clearing his throat. "Perhaps you could find it within your heart to grace us with your company for our luncheon? A new addition would be delightful!" he said with what enthusiasm he could muster. Although it sounded as if he were disregarding the others by a small margin, he meant no harm.
Flash_Guardian stops eating ... blinks ... and stares at Luna, fruit hanging halfway out of his mouth. After a moment, he simply returns his attention to his fruit. I suppose, beyond that, Flash would continue to work on the wooden frameworks for the roofs of the dojo until daylight has been expended.
