Flash_Guardian is studying the blueprints, and a book he has open and resting on a stack of wood, his gaze going back and forth in heavy concentration. Every now and again, he takes some kind of wooden marking instrument and runs a mark across a piece of wood at some angle or another, or puts an 'X' down. The unfinished circular deck rests behind him, with its walking surface at last finished ... though it still lacks the roof and railings, so its many support beams look rather bare.

Culdra yawned quietly as she rubbed at her eye's with her right hand Her silver ear's flicked back and forth, both bandaged, as she wondered where her exploring brought her this time She wore a black and purple Kimono that had the sleaves shorter than her normal one but long enough so it didnt exposing the silver pelted fox legs **think shippo**. All three of her tails swayed around behind her. She let out another yawn and ran her fingers through her whitish hair pushing it back out of her face. She thought breifly about the thin beach she had walked on and wondered if her father would be mad at her for being so far from home....soon though all thoughts disappered from her mind as she looked around and saw the trees and then through the tree's she noticed a man infront of a building and her gray eye's grew "ooo" she muttered and hid behind a tree so she could watch him and not be seen as she poked her head around the tree trunk.

Flash_Guardian scratches another mark across the surface of the wooden 2x4, then reaches for his saw, lines it up ... and suddenly his arm is a blur, the sound of wood cutting at high speed heard all around as he works through the beam in three seconds flat! Obviously some form of magic at work here ...

Little_Half~breed_Kodora she came onto the beach , now drenched in cold salt wate,r her cloths bogging her down since cotton absorbes water eaily. she wore a purple hakama and a white haori, all too small for her now because of her changing body. now more curvy, with a beautiful full bust and full hips, long legs, small feet, rather perfect yes ^.^ her silver hair dripping wet, her cloths clinging to her body. oh boy. poor kid, needs cloths >.Flash_Guardian scoops up a couple of cut pieces of wood, holding them together at the right angle to see how well they fit ... and as he's checking out the joint, he thinks he sees a face staring his way from the tree-line surrounding the clearing. The wood pieces lower just a little as he arcs his head, trying to see Culdra ...

[Little_Half~breed_Kodora ] " FLASH!!!" she yelled out in annoyance, her ears clinging down at the side of her head. she growled angrilly., " YOU NEED TO BUILD A DAMN BRIDGE!!" she yelled out and once leaving the sand she crawled on the ground on all fourse, her nose to the dirt as she sniffed him out.

Flash_Guardian turns this way and that, trying to peer around the tree and seeming kinda confused. "Odd," he mutters, shrugging and returning to his work. Whatever it was he saw, it doesn't seem to be there anymore. But then he hears an unmistakable yelling from the southeast part of the island. He blinks, looking in that direction now. "Kodora?" Never mind the fact that she sounds totally angry , it's good to hear her voice. A smile breaks out over his face, knowing she'd be able to follow the trail and the sounds of his work easily enough, and would find him soon.

Little_Half~breed_Kodora and out of the brush she came, dripping went, lieavs and small twigs and dirt clinging to her small cloths which gclung ot her curvaiouse form, she had barely noticed the hcange, well she did, she just didn't seem ot ge the idea that her cloths would need to be changed. " a f***ing bridge would be nice" she mumbled in an irritated voice, honestly, she wasn't angry at him, it was her way of effection in all truth. " a bridge!! you hear me? BRIDGE1!"

Flash_Guardian laughs back in Kodora's direction, all grins. "Yeah, I know, I know ... it's on my to-do list. One thing at a time, I've only got two hands you know!" There's a hint of pity in his smile to her ... the wet cat look does nothing for her, and neither do the wooden and leafy decorations. "You do know there's a trail now, right?" he asks her, setting his wood and tools aside. "From the land bridge to the clearing?"

Little_Half~breed_Kodora her eyes twitches , and she flips on him" TRAIL? YOU COULD POST A SIGN OR SOMETHING!!!! AND I DONT' NEED A BRIDGE OVER LAND MORON, I NEED IT OVER THE DAMN WATER!!!" she breathed heavily after her yelling, trying to calm down finanly she gave a final huph and plopped her butt dowon ont othe ground to watch him.

Flash_Guardian furrows his brow, shouting back to her in slight annoyance. "There's a big trail marker right at the entrance, with a bright white flame burning on the torch at its top! What more do you want?!" Seems Flash is a little different as well since Kodora has last seen him ... a bit more spunk. Seeing her pouting quickly calms him, though, and he sets down the saw on the woodpile and does this odd sort of shuffle ... quite amusing to watch, actually, due to the haste magic affecting him currently ... and is quickly by Kodora's side, bending over with his hands on his knees and looking down at her. "I've missed you. And hey, you've grown!" He grins even bigger now.

Little_Half~breed_Kodora she huuphed and growled as he yeled at her " may as well go findwomeone who doesn't got a stick up his ass" she huphed , but didn't seem to move anywhere. she then looked at him, with a quirked face " so? who cares if i've grown. it;s all a damned annoyance. do these fall off anytime soon?" she looked away " hard to figh with them got damnit"

Flash_Guardian just shakes his head, not able to think of an appropriate comeback. Though as she continues, he blinks and quirks his head. "Fall off?" Apparently that last bit went right over his head. He kneels, though, clapping his hands together as a warm wind seems to swirl around him for a moment, his palms traced with a subtle orange glow, flickering like candlelight and very warm in close proximity. He holds his hands out to her, apparently offering to dry her off.

Flash_Guardian is suddenly made very aware of what Kodora is talking about, glancing down to them and blushing just a little ... though neither the awkward topic or her soaking wetness does anything to discourage his firm and warm embrace. Flash grits his teeth and begins to wave his hands around Kodora's body, letting the heat from them slowly dry her. "Well," he tells her apologetically, "I've been occupied. With lots of things, really. Maintaining the dojo, rescuing old friends, making some new ones ..." As Flash moves his hands around Kodora, careful not to bring them too close to her and burn her, he gets an extended chance to review how her body is blossoming. "Kodora," he softly explains, "I know you probably don't want to hear this, but you're becoming a woman. All these changes happening to you are perfectly normal." He leaves it at that for now, hoping she wouldn't press into that subject further ... though he suddenly wonders if she's ever had 'the talk.'

[Little_Half~breed_Kodora ] " i don't give a damn if it's supposed ot happen or not. i hate it and i want it to g oaway. i know what men do to women, they oogle and gawk, stare. ugh. it's gross. and i dont' want that happening to me. not ever. i jsut want to go back to normal!!" she cotinued to argue with him, she was ina mood, that was for sure.

Flash_Guardian has her mostly dried, though in the process it may have simply shrunk her garments even further. "Ironic," he says aloud with a sad sort of chuckle.

[Little_Half~breed_Kodora ] " i hjate you" she hissed at him with narrowed eyes. now the cloths clung ot her body, litterally, she was almost about to burst out " i really hate you" she hissed at him.

Flash_Guardian just shakes his head, sighing. "I wasn't talking about your outfit," he tells her. "Though we've really got to get you something in your size ... looks like you've grown out of the old kimono. I've got some new ones that may fit you," he tells her, finishing the process and starting to dry himself just a little. "And another article of clothing that you may come to appreciate as well. And as for what's ironic ... well, it just always seems to me that the women that end up the most beautiful are always the ones that hate men with a burning passion. It's as if the goddess of love is trying to teach us males a lesson."

[Little_Half~breed_Kodora ] "i don't care. i just dont want to be used." she sighed " i miss jesty.." somehow he managed to pop up in her mind again, he never seemed to quite leaveher alone, despite that she hadnt seen him in a year or so. " he.. isn't coming back... is he flash?" she looked away, a few tears begining to roll down ehr cheeks.

Flash_Guardian just shakes his head at Kodora, a firmness to his face to replace his previously light manner. "No," he tells her. "And I don't want to think of him coming back, either. Especially now." He closes his eyes and lets his hands drop to his sides, the magic heat dissipating into the surrounding air and ceasing. "You won't be used, as long as you're careful," he tells her, changing the subject. "Not that I think anybody could hope to use a strong young half-demon like yourself. But at the same time ... you shouldn't overlook love entirely. It can be one of the most wonderful things you experience." His chin lifts, an almost dreamlike expression on his face. Out of nowhere, a kind of rainbow glow seems to surround Flash, clinging to him in brilliant shimmering colors that play in the sunlight, all warm and soft. A strange reaction, though Flash's face says it all. He is truly and deeply in love.

Little_Half~breed_Kodora she sighed sadly, seeming to be on the complete opposite end of the spectrum. " what ever" she said angrilly and sadly at him " i don't care.." she growled. she loved flash with al her heart, but she couldn't truly entirly forgive him for killing jesty, not until he comes back. whihc could easily be never. " i want jesty back" she lowered her head an shut her eyes, her back to his " it's not fair!!"

[Little_Half~breed_Kodora ] " the only things that have made me happy always go away.. my parents, jesty, net, ... they all go away.. blue.. even you.. your all gone. i miss jesty so much. i want to be with him. even if it means i have to die" could it be that she loved him?

Flash_Guardian is broken from his pleasant reverie as Kodora continues, the rainbow aura slowly sliding away and vanishing, lingering like a lover's hand before it is withdrawn. He looks to Kodora, biting his lip as he thinks about it. At length, he just decides there's no use. He shrugs, turning to walk back towards the dojo. "Blue and I are still here," he tells her with a glint of hope in his eyes. "Though Blue's a tough man to get a hold of recently. In any case, we should get you that kimono. Hope you don't mind white ... it's all we have." He shrugs helplessly, wishing he could do something more for her. "Or, who knows? Maybe you'll find someone or something else ..."

Little_Half~breed_Kodora she obediently stood up, walking follwoing in silece. " i don't want anyone else.." she whispered sadly under her breath" i want jesty." she followed after flash. yes she knew they were still around, but she hadnt seen iether of them in such along time, and when she did see them they were too busy to havbe time for hr " ... flash i'm sorry... i didn't mena to hurt you. you know i love you and blue. i... just feel so alone no matter who is around me.."

Flash_Guardian nods to Kodora in understanding, sending her a winning smile as the pair make their way to the eastern wing, travelling along the new circular deck that Flash has been constructing. "Hey, you've travelled a path that few others have ... but that gives you a wonderfully different perspective on life. It's one that not many others may share, but there's no point in being something that you're not." Flash slides a door to one of the classrooms open, making for a small wardrobe on the far side of the room.

[Little_Half~breed_Kodora ] " why would someone want ot travel dow nthis path. it's lonly, full of pain and heartache. i would give anything to just be able to be normal, to be happy, to not stand out. " she sighed " flash, you were the one who sent jester awa y...right?"

Flash_Guardian stands there, holding the cabinet door open and gripping it rather tightly ... apparently the subject is unavoidable. "Haven't I told you this story already?" he asks her, head down and eyes closed in slight frustration. He doesn't know what to do for her. Not a clue. He seems like he's in pain, his forehead scrunched ... and his knuckles on the hand that grips the door are quickly turning white, as if there's something he wants to tell her but is holding himself back.

Little_Half~breed_Kodora she sighed, watching flash as he grew increasingly mad at her, she closed her eyes and turned, silently walking away. she didn't need to be told twice. she was annoying. fiar enough. she left the room, walking aimlessly lost down one of hte many halls, it was all confusing, a giant maze. sh e wanted tobe lost forever. oh, could this be jester himself, torturing her? or flash through this littel girl?. finnaly she came t oa large empty-ish dark room. she went to a cornor and sat down " i'm sorry" she whispered.

Flash_Guardian calls out to Kodora before she leaves the room. "Kodora, wait!" His voice is forceful, yet struggling. His eyes dart to her, hoping she'll stay with him in the room ... it's quite obvious he has something he wants to say to her.

Little_Half~breed_Kodora she didn't listen, just kept on walking, he would have to find her now. " why won't you let me go.." she said softly " jester. your supposed ot be dead... thas what everyone says, so why do you haunt me. i never see you, hear you , smell you, nothing baout you. but.. your still haunting me.." she lay doown on the cold hard wood floor , curling up on her side. " why can't you just leave me alone. why are you hrurting me like this..?"

Tassin shifts the strap of the battered totebag on one shoulder, hesitating at the door. There was supposed to be someone living here, wasn't there? and there had been a little noise....

Tassin pauses another moment before shedding battered shoes and socks in the entryway, bare feet making faint slapping sounds on the floor.

Flash_Guardian frowns ... almost scowls ... then thinks better of it. Kodora really was in a lot of pain, and it didn't help that he was getting so fussed about it. But what he had to say had nothing to do with Jester. He sighs, just letting her be for now, if such is her choice. He plucks a white kimono that looks like it will fit her from the wardrobe ... accompanied by the other item of clothing he hopes Kodora will appreciate. A sports bra. It's the best he can do, really. He just hopes it's the right size. That done, he neatly and caringly folds them up on a nearby table. And then, he gets out some parchment, pulling a small quill out of his belt pouch. Seating himself, he begins to write. What he could not say in voice, he will say in writing.

Tassin looks around, ears straining for the voices of earlier, instinctively trying to soften the noises of bare feet.

Tassin calls doubtfully, "Hello?...is there..." pauses and clears its throat, voice trying to settle somewhere between alto and tenor.

Little_Half~breed_Kodora she closed her eyes, about to fall asleep when someone called out. this sent her thogu hthe bend, if nothing hadn't already " SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!" she shouted out angrilly. tears rolling down her cheeks. " aJUST GO AWAY!!" she didn't even know who she was yelling at, nor did she care.

Tassin peers around admiringly, passing through an archway and then choosing another direction at random, heading northwards.

Tassin startles at an angry voice somewhere, wondering what it had wandered into inadvertantly. Someone's private residence, maybe?

[Tassin ] Is everything okay....? I'm sorry, I ...just...

Tassin turns in a circle, not even knowing what or who to address, "I'm lost..."

Flash_Guardian is interrupted in his writing, sighing in frustration and letting his quill fall to the table. Yet why was he so worked up all of a sudden? Usually things didn't get to him so easily. He stands, the sound of his chair scooting across the wood floor plainly audible, along with the silent padding of his own bare feet across the wood. And then, a shout from Kodora. "Gotcha," he says, narrowing his eyes as he wraps his arms about himself. Shortly afterward, he disappears in a whoosh and a swirl of wind ... only to reappear right next to where the loud-mouthed Kodora is 'hiding.' "YOU!!" he bellow at her ... though for some reason, it sounds more comical than anything else, an eye half-closed in a silly sort of sneer. Then, in his most diabolic sounding voice, he wags a finger at her. "You're coming with me!" Flash's hands spread wide as ripples of yellow force spread over the floor, the area beneath Flash's and Kodora's feet beginning to glow with that same golden power ...

[Flash_Guardian ] One of the other attendants of the dojo walks up and greets Tassin suddenly. "I thought I heard someone calling ... is everything alright?"

[Tassin ] Do you, do you live--wah!

Tassin startles at being greeted so suddenly, "Yes, I, I was just looking and..."

[Tassin ] I heard shouting and I thought maybe...

Tassin shrugs uncomfortable, head tucking itself under.

[Tassin ] I just got here.

[Flash_Guardian ] The attendant smiles at him, shaking her head. "Hey, it's alright. This is Redfang Dojo. Nothing to be afraid of here. Feel free to explore, as long as you keep out of trouble." She blinks curiously. "Unless there's something else you need?"

[Tassin ] I heard this island was kind of a safe haven.

Little_Half~breed_Kodora she didn;t really mean to get so angry, she jsut wanted to make the pain go away. she wanted to be happy again. she didnt' care the cost. she wanted her jesty. just then.. flas happeared. he seemed pissed. crap? she wasn't supposed ot yell was she. " shit" she murmured under her breath. he was actually scaring her. she began to whimper, her ears laying at teh site of her head tihgty, her eyes watering up.

Tassin rubs the back of its neck with one hand, "I'm not going to make any trouble. It took me a while to find this place, so...can I...stay, a little while, maybe?"

[Tassin ] [that's what I'm guessing, unless Flash is just exhausted and/or overwhelmed]

[Flash_Guardian ] The golden glow upon the floor spreads slowly upwards, until both Flash and Kodora are encased in its brilliance and shielded from view ... then, with a burst of light and a crackle of thunder, the light vanishes, along with Flash and Kodora. So where are they now? Well, Kodora rapidly feels herself falling through an empty space of blue, with clouds rolling past her suddenly at a fast rate as she accellerates toward the earth far far below ... Redfang Island appearing as little more than a speck amidst an immense blue ocean. It is then that Kodora hears a cry of ecstatic joy from somewhere nearby, from a similarly falling figure with spiky red hair and a blue bandana. "WHOOOOOOO!!!!"

[Flash_Guardian ] The attendant nods happily. "Stay as long as you like. I'm sure Flash, or one of the others, will be with you soon. Enjoy your stay." She flashes the boy a friendly smile, bowing slightly to him before she makes her way off towards the dojo's heart for training.

[Tassin ] [My bad there, I was actually asking Kodora which one of us she was talking to, Flash]

[Little_Half~breed_Kodora ] " flash" she said in a calm voice, clingint to his body" if i live to feel my feet firmly back on ground " I'MA GONNA KILL YOU!!!" she screemed out, screaming louder and louder, clinging to his body, claws dinging into his back like a cat would do when afraid " REMIND ME TO RIPP OFF YOUR BALLS WHEN WE TOUCH DOWN!! AND IF I DIE. I WILL HAUNT YOU FOR ETERNITY!!!!!"

Tassin stares after the attendant. This was too easy. Things couldn't just be that easy, could they? Nobody actually just says "come on in" to a complete stranger and then leaves them to....who knows, steal or break things or whatever....

Flash_Guardian was nowhere near Kodora after the teleport ... so unless she's going to try and reach him somehow, he's going to stay that way. By his joyous laughter, one would almost think he's lost it entirely. Though eventually he does use his arms to swoop over to her, close enough to speak against the rushing wind. "What are you worried about?" he tells her, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Cats always land on their feet!" That said, he puts his thumb to his nose, his fingers waggling in the air as he sticks out his tongue ... and then his arms guide him away from her, swooping around in slow circles. Indeed, they'll have quite a long time before they hit, so he can afford to toy with her just a bit.

[Tassin ] Someone was going to come around the corner in a minute, realize there was a stranger here and call the authorities. But until then...maybe it'd be okay if it takes advantage of a chair for a little while. Or look out the window.

[Flash_Guardian ] As the attendant walks away, the boy is left alone for the moment. Indeed, far too easy. Either they're very trusting here, very giving ... or perhaps there really isn't that much to steal after all. No riches line the walls, no paintings or other adornments ... the furniture is sparse and utilitarian. Nothing really of value here, unless one knows where to look.

Little_Half~breed_Kodora she was scared now, tears forming in her eyes, she went silent, just falling. what had she done to flash? she didn't mean to do this to him. she was sorry for upsetting him. what was going on?. he was acting like jester, but she expected it from jseter, but .,.. flash? waht was goign on?.." STOP IT FLASH!!!" she screamed out, her heart beating quickly without control, her breaths fast and short, she was fuckin scared.....no other way to put it. pure terror

Tassin sits down then, indulging in a quiet sound of appreciation at the way the cushions give underneath its body. This place was weird, pretty but definitely a little on the weird side. It hadn't seen any animals yet, but there looked to be a couple of birds overhead, maybe. Big ones.

Tassin blinks and takes another look. Really big birds, raptors maybe? but they were flying so funny---mating flight? what did he know about birds anyway.

Flash_Guardian turns around to face Kodora, using his arms and legs to keep him steady as he shoots her a disapproving look. "What's the matter?" he asks her. "Afraid of heights?" His face gets a little more serious now. "Or maybe it's something else you're afraid of?"

Tassin stands up, going back outside to get a better look. Not flying, falling. Falling rapidly. Whatever it was had better pull up soon. C'mon....c'mon....what's wrong with you? Biting a pale lip, Tassin curls and uncurls long fingers, eyes locked on the falling shapes above.

[Little_Half~breed_Kodora ] " STOP IT FLASH STOP IT NOW11" she screamed out, tears, whjich usualy would roll down ehr cheeks now falling.. upwards if you will. " I SAID I WAS SORYR NOW STOP IT1!!!" her words getting mixedup, jumbled, she was so scared she had lost all feeling in her body, so dieing at this point wouldn't hurt much...

[Flash_Guardian ] Where Kodora is petrified, Flash is completely relaxed and at home. Does he know something she doesn't? He even goes so far as to lean his chin on his hand, looking downright bored. "I'm not looking for an apology, Kodora," he tells her plainly. Indeed, not too much further to fall ... they can start to make out individual trees down below ...

Little_Half~breed_Kodora she shut up shutting her eyes tightly, curling her fists into tight balls her breath growing so fast that she has stopped all togther.. she waited for the sharp pain, tears dampening the locks of hair closest to her face. her hair whipping back behind her.

Tassin feels its stomach turn over, the falling things weren't going to change course, they were too low now, not enough time and then...just all over the place. Broken bones and feathers and whoever knows what else, too much damage to repair, not even any of the doctors at hand. A bitter laugh hacks itself up through a dry throat; imagine actually wishing for the lab, now of all times.

Flash_Guardian sighs, swooping towards her ... even as he does, his hands begin to glow with that same yellow light as before ... fumbling in midair as she is, he manages to catch her with one hand or the other by her ankle. A powerful yellow light seems to blaze up around the pair in dazzling shards, obscuring them from view and suddenly dissipating not a dozen feet from the tips of the tallest trees below, Flash and Kodora vanishing once more ... only to reappear in the same spot, back 1500 feet above sea level. Flash has an expression so overly bored now it's just plain goofy. "I could do this all day, you know," he tells her in a flat voice, watching her with his legs crossed and his flaming hair whipping back from the wind.

Tassin stares, rubs knuckles against pale eyes and blinks. Gone. They were both gone. Right above the trees and then nothing. They couldn't just have vanished. Did they drop into the brush without him seeing somehow? Grabbing boots and bag, Tassin breaks into a dead run out in the jungle, trying to guess where whatever it is might have landed.

Little_Half~breed_Kodora she conntinued to cry, obviously not enjoying this. she tucked into a tight ball, trembling what did she do? she wanted to be safe... where was blue?...

Tassin pushes frantically through the thick plantlife, desperately casting about in a stree-addled memory for what he'd gleaned of impact trauma.

[Tassin ] Splints, maybe, so sticks and...cloth? but if they're...damnit, not big enough, I don't know about wings!

Anwyn makes her way out of the copse that surrounds the Dojo, bare footed and smiling. Loam from the leaf mulch that forms a soft bed on the forest floor staining her toes. Her flaming red locks playing with the wind that sends it up as a joyous flag to meet the day. A simple pair of white pants hang to her ankles, full and comfortable, a loose tunic of greena and gold glinting in the flight to match the natural backdrop. Her green eyes alight as they dance over the distant shoreline, walking out towards the cliff, cupped hands full of fresh, fertile soil.

Flash_Guardian shakes his head at Kodora ... obviously she was missing some valuable point. "Kodora," he calls to her, the gentle caring tone back in his voice. "Do you honestly think I would ever let you fall all the way? Hell, that would kill both of us! I'm not that stupid ..." He sighs. "Anyway, I'll happily stop this whole thing." Before she gets her hopes up to much, he adds in a cheery voice. "After I hear you laugh. One good, solid, genuine laugh."

Tassin 's sentences turning into little more than half-finished thoughts muttered aloud; "Head trauma, head trauma...um, internal bleeding can be staunched by...damnit, I know this!."

Little_Half~breed_Kodora she was to osscared to res;pond curling up ats tight as she could go clenching her hair in her fists, tightly, as if she were going to pull it out. her body trembling. she couldn't hear anything, couldn't smell, taste, touch , or see anything. she felt dead inside...

Flash_Guardian sees a familiar face far below, on a high cliff he knows all too well ... the site of a very special tree that is as close to his heart as the woman approaching it, her fiery hair lashing about in the wind. Seeing Kodora curling up as she is, Flash realizes quite quickly that he can't have that. He swoops over to her, reaching to grab hold of an arm and a leg of hers to give her a good and thorough shaking. "Heeeey!!" he calls out loudly, trying his best to disturb her.

Anwyn makes the procession along the end of the beach...where soil meets sand. One foot on each, a soft slow hum escapes her lips as she goes about her daily business, carrying fresh soil to the sapling up on the cliff, singing to the soil in her fingers as a mother to a child. Perhaps her voice carries far enough to be a siren to the wind that still buffets and tosses her hair behind her, ignored as she kneels besides the little shoot, one day it would be mighty and she would see it. For now though, she banks the fresh soil about it's base, fingers settling it " As the river to the sea, so my love gave life to me..And as the night to the day, there is a time for worry to fade, so my little loved one, grow root, grow bud and be safe and strong... "

Little_Half~breed_Kodora she began to dig her claws into him as he touched her, held onto her, she pushed away , trying ot get away, growling angrily, she didn't know what was going on,. nothing. trying to get away from flash. away from people. people.. thats it. thats what caused her pain... and she knew they caused her pain before she met flash, before she met flash or blue. she was happey then. before net or jester. before anybody. she ha d spent years aking that barrier, and this is why she made it, to forget abotu the pain that came with being alive..

Little_Half~breed_Kodora her eyes began to grow gred pur red, her purpls turning purple, slowly even her pupils were read. a halfbreeds reactipon to a life threatening situation, . turning full youkai, her teeth grew longer, her nails turning to hard solid sharp claws. she growled angrilly, shrieking. all scence were back, but stronger, but her emotions lost, for now. the basic instinct of servivle kicking in, the will to live, no matter teh expence.

[Tassin ] Can't find them, can't find them, can't hear anything but the crashing of the plants around it, can't even *see* because it hadn't thought to bring any eye-covers and now it was probably going to end up running off a *cliff* or something....

Tassin staggers of the brush briefly, gasping for air, and glimpses the woman by the tree. "Did they fall nearby, did you hear them!"

Anwyn bows her head to the little sapling, the pale of her brow touching to the soil, praying to the earth, to the air, to the sky and the seas...Vibrant rainbow tendrils of wamrth and colour, a spirit web that wraps about her, and plunges into the soil, feeding the little sabling from her own energy, and that drawn from the sun on her hair. Hair that burns like molten copper. So simple a girl, so content with what she has, nothing more asked for as she rises to her feet, brushing soil from her pants only to be startled into a little squeak of sound by the staggering, gasping words...Her arms across her chest defensively, but where she'd normaly turn and run, she instead holds her ground. One leg going back, arching at the knee, the other foot turning just a little to give her perfect balance, lessons learnt well "No...I'm sorry..Nothing fell..I heard no one."

[Flash_Guardian ] "Ow!" Flash holds on for as long as he can ... at least until he sees her start to change ... he would release her, however the ground is rushing close again. He concentrates amidst the pain, biting his lip as he conjures the glowing yellow shards, wrapping about them both like a blanket before ... poof! Back way up in the air they are, another 1500 feet to fall. Only now does Flash release her, shouting back to Kodora. "You don't get it, do you?" he calls after her, getting rather frustrated ... and indeed his face is beginning to show his exertion from using such powerful magics. "This wasn't meant to scare you, Kodora! Nor to hurt you, or make you mad ... I did this for you! And all you can do is lash out at me?! Well, fine then!" Flash scowls at her. "But I can tell you right now, you're only struggling with yourself ... and you're losing fast." In Flash's gaze there is concern ... wondering if Kodora will see reason anytime soon.

Tassin 's hands clench and the face flushes with emotion more than exertion now. Teeth grit behind lips drawn tight and it swallows, feeling tears threatening with anger. "Nothing at all?"

Little_Half~breed_Kodora sadly, in this state, or any halfbreeds state there is no resoning. only the basik instinct to survive, and unless flah were to put her onto firm ground, the full demon blood inside her would only wear down her body, eventually killing her. in this sitautation, she didn't understand a persons words, no emotions. just.. survival..

Tassin doesn't cry, never cries, this should be no different, except this is all so *stupid* because even if it had found the things there's no guarantee there would have been anything to do, no matter how smart Tassin thinks itself and....

Anwyn shakes her head, her vivid greens eyes darkening with compassion. Fingers curl together at her waist, and she rocks a little back from the raw waves of emotion, her rainbow webs of spirit wrapping about her as a blanket "I...I don't know what you are looking for..I'm sorry."

Tassin lowers its head and shakes it dully, "Nothing. It was nothing." A rote response, a good one. Fit every occasion. Its own hair feels coarse and unpleasant against its face, still flushed almost to natural pinkness, and the sun shines harshly on an exposed patch of raw skin on the back of its neck.

[Tassin ] I'm sorry...to have bothered you.

Tassin remembering somewhat of its manners, belatedly, sneaks a glance at the woman as it mouths the appropriate words.

Anwyn gives it a little nod, looking scared, the youngster shivering a little...starting to edge away, back towards the safety of the Dojo...She knew the woods here as well as she knew her hand.

Flash_Guardian sighs, frowning and shaking his head. "You leave me no choice, then." While falling, Flash begins charging new magics, a soft and vibrant green glow growing in the space about his hands, enlarging itself into an orb of substantial size. He lets this glow encompass his left hand, until it cannot be seen. This done, he dives at Kodora through the air, making to grab hold of her and plant his left hand to her, to let the magic affect her ... the only thing that will save her life at this point.

[Anwyn ] "Really, it's..n-nothing, I wish I could have helped you."

Tassin 's shoulders drop even farther, and automatically begins to back up. Some things are the same, no matter where you go. And it's just like the labs again, really, just prettier to look at.

Tassin swallows and says hoarsely, "It will not bother you, miss, It is leaving."

[Anwyn ] "You are new here, aren't you?" The girl remembers fear all too well, it's still a friend to her, fear and doubt. She was getting better though, she was so much more peaceful than ever before here, bare footed on the lands of her home "Please..I didn't mean to offend, I'm Anwyn..I live here."

Tassin pauses, eyes angled towards the ground. Tassin knows how to recognize a command by now, even when someone said 'please'.

[Tassin ] Yes, It is new to this island---your island?

Little_Half~breed_Kodora as his hands touched hers,her claws dug into his hands, the magick knocked her out there. her body going limp. her eyes closeing, teeth shrincking claws chainging to just long nails. she was so sorry that she made flash so angry. she was as silent as a child sleeping. why couldn't life ever be easy for her?

[Anwyn ] "Are you hungry, or lost...? I know how it feels to be lost, until I found myself, and so much more...Here on Redfang." The young flaming haired woman reaches to touch to it's arm, comforting..A warmth to her fingers.

[Anwyn ] "No...No.." A little laugh that bubbles like molten sunlight from her lips "It belongs to Jaimin..." Her voice speaks the name with...love, no other word for the gentle caress of sound.

PhorenNarqu suddenly appeared in the clearing, shaking his head, still bearing the scars from the time he had fought that daemon. His hair was ruffled, and he looked very content. His aura had changed a little, also, becoming more deadly and beautiful

Tassin doesn't move, though the touch alone was enough to send the insides of its body vibrating like a bell. It licks its lips, "Who is...Jaimin?" Voice an uncertain tone between alto and tenor.

[Anwyn ] "Jaimin...He's ...Well..." A little blush crawls over her cheeks "My soulmate." Finally a word found to up the relationship, satisfied with it, from the content smile that spreads over her lips "He founded this Island, and built the training school...The Dojo." Trying to ease his uncertainty, her voice a compassionate caress.

[Tassin ] "The wooden building," murmurs, more to itself than the lady, "It---I, did not know that's what it was. I.." stumbling over the use of the word, "thought this island was something else, a colony."

PhorenNarqu 'll just sit here in the clearing, either watching or waiting.

[Anwyn ] "Well...Many different people live here...Come and go...I suppose it could be called that too, but most of the people here, train...I am a student also."

Flash_Guardian begins to arc in his glide, winging his way to the distant cliff that overlooks the sea, his wings a bright red banner of freedom hilighted by sunlight and rainbow waves against a brilliant backdrop of blue sky. He sees Anwyn in the distance, standing there with what appears to be a small boy in very baggy clothing. In a few short moments, he swoops low over the ground, wings flapping madly as his feet come underneath him to touch ground gently. Once his feet are back upon solid ground, his wings tuck and fold at his back though he still holds Kodora in his arms. He smiles to the young person warmly, nodding. "Pardon my intrusion." Then, to Anwyn, a glorious smile is given. "Thought I'd take a short flight with a friend. Guess it kinda wore her out." He chuckles, though it is only half-hearted.

[Tassin ] "This isn't a non-conformist colony--" the question cut short with the arrival of a very large bird with a man's head. Or rather a man who happens to look a little like a bird. Just the wings though. Maybe...maybe this was the right place, then...Tassin lifts its eyes with a glimmer of hope.

Anwyn feels the presence of her Jaimin, before she sees him, the sound of wings drawing both her eyes and her smile, though the youngster in his arms draws a soft gasp from her lips, the lush green gaze darting from Flash to Kodora and back. "Perhaps it would be best if we laid her in the sleeping rooms? There will be a spare pallate I am sure." She can't help but reach to touch fingers to the shoulders of the tall Dojo owner, her eyes bright, loving. "We seem to have a newcomer to the Island...Though they seem to have lost something."

Little_Half~breed_Kodora she cuddles up tierdly to flash, she was and sweet as a kitten at the moment... it's odd. she does so well without feeling a thing for jester, then,.. .when she see's flash, his memorie haunts her like a nigthamare..

[Tassin ] "No, it was--I saw you, I think. In the sky, falling," embarrassment washing over its pale face like a transparent paint, "I thought you fell..."

Anwyn laughs again, a bright sound as always, the girl so...Free here, on the Island she's grown to love calling home "No, oh..My dear..If I'd known I would have told you...We can use...our gift, to fly. Jaimin and I"

Flash_Guardian smiles again to see the hope in the young person's eyes. "Greetings to you, then," the man known as Jaimin tells it, chuckling. "And yes ... we did fall. About three times, actually. But we never hit once, so no need to worry. I do it all the time." He bends towards it, grinning. "Don't try it yourself, though ... I'm a trained professional." Flash winks, looking back to Anwyn and moving a step towards her. "I think some sleep would certainly do her some good. She just endured a hard lesson ... one which I think she unfortunately failed." He would frown but for hearing Anwyn's laugh, the sound bringing a bit of color to his cheeks.

[Tassin ] "I thought--" hastily blurted, it shakes its head, pale hair all but casting a glare, "I saw the Dojo earlier, and I heard voices, maybe your voices? Someone fighting, and then no one."

[Tassin ] "Is this a, a prerequisite?"

[Anwyn ] "A prerequisite for? ...Here, everyone is welcomed for their differences, as long as they are willing to share, to learn and to harm none that do not harm them..Basically"

Anwyn 's leaning towards Flash, just a little, smiling back up to him, her voice sharing the bright hope for what Redfang was, for the dream made real and still growing "Come, let's walk to the Dojo...We can lay the girl to rest, and then have some tea..."

Flash_Guardian nods to Anwyn happily. "Couldn't have said it better myself. And don't worry about the voices you heard earlier ... that was probably Kodora and I in a bit of a scuff. It happens." He shrugs and nods now, doing some brief introductions. "Anwyn, this is Kodora. You can call me Jaimin, of course," he says, looking back to the lad. "And your name?" He beams eagerly at Anwyn. "Sounds like a plan. Ladies first."

Tassin nods briefly, pale eyes flickering from the woman, to the man with the wings, as a small coil of hope begins to uncurl in its mind, something almost as terrifying as the blind search had been earlier.

[Tassin ] "Tassin" it supplies after a moment's surprised silence.

[Anwyn ] "Would you like to join us?" The us so easily spoken as she turns to lead back to the Dojo, bright green eyes smiling to man she'd happily call home. "You'd be welcome..We may not have an abundance, but if it is ours, we will share it."

Flash_Guardian nods to Tassin, seeing as that's all he can do with the hanyou girl in his arms at the moment. "We have enough," he says in response to Anwyn.

PhorenNarqu 's just sitting there, eyes closed, resting his head on a hand, catching a small amount of sleep, having not gotten much recently

Anwyn glances back, her steps sure and firm even without looking to her path "Even with nothing, we'd have enough." A little incline of her head, a wink, with an impish grin flashed before she turns bac.

[Tassin ] "Thank you," a smile threatening at the corners of its mouth, eyes brightening.

Tassin hesitantly begins to follow Anwyn, trying to keep from hugging itself. So much, so much at once! It wasn't really quite sure what to do except follow.

[Anwyn ] "Are you hungry? And, I'm sure we can find something to fit you from the training clothing...A bath even." the yougn woman in mother hen mode, her voice soft, trying not to scare. "For now though...Tea, a good start. There is not much friends and tea cannot solve."

Flash_Guardian smiles to the others and follows after. Soon the table will be set with what simple foods they have, though Flash may break into their private stash of the deliciously sweet and rare starfruits that grow in a small grove on the island. Though disappointment lingers in Jaimin's heart, all in all it hasn't been a bad day. All's well that ends well, I guess.
