Better To Live

Ikari ran through the garden holding her book bag in her arms. she turned around then stopped running seeing they had stopped running after her. she stood there breathing deeply. her body was shaking from feeling scared. she looked at her the palm of her left hand. it was bleeding from when she had cut it on the fence. "why were they after me?"

Tandrall strolls the gardens he has become so fond of ... almost protective of. Flowers bud and blossom as spring draws near, his horned head lifted in delight. So many wonderful perfumes from the flowers and sweet earth are like heaven to him. His hooved feet trod along in a timely step, a light humming sound heard under his breath as he admires his surroundings.

Ikari kept looking at the palm of her left hand as blood ran down it. she stood there breathing deeply still out of breath from running so fast. she looked up in the direction she had come "i don't understand why they won't leave me alone"

Rei_ keeping to the shade of the large trees he walked through the garden, then sat beneath the best shade he could find. in his mind toying with the idea of letting the sun play across his skin

Tandrall can hear a trouble voice just around the next hedge, and his curiousity has fully gotten the better of him. He hides behind the hedge as best he can, his somewhat large form being difficult. Indeed, his horns probably peek up over the top of the hedge, visible on the other side where Ikari stands panting for breath. "Why who won't leave you alone?" he asks in his deep, proud voice.

Ikari turned her head hearing a deep voice. she stepped back a bit feeling scared. she saw the horns sticking out above the hedge. "who's there?" she turned seeing sitting under a tree. she didn't know what to do. she held her book bag in her right hand. blood still ran down her left palm.

Lillia appears in the garden. She stands there for a moment before sitting down to take a rest for the moment. Lillia looked up at the sky before falling on her back as she gazed upwards towards the heavens. "wow. It is soo beautiful"

Heyuka_Seisioko Falls from the sky,as he halls he hits the ground pretty hard,the ground around him starts to cave in and the earth shakes.He starts to stand up his blade hits right next to him.As he still stands his hair falls all around his face casting a dark shadow on his face,he stands up fully pulling the blade out of the ground.Looks around as he sheaths up his blade walking off into the garden.SMells the flowers in a few places as he walks to his favorite spot,he leans against the tree he usally does.Slides down the tree looking around,he pulls one of his legs up resting his opposite arm on it.HE sighs blowing some air from his lips moving his hear to the side,revealing two blue eyes.

Rei_ the scent of warm blood opened his eyes and he watched the young girl, but did not make to move, the sun protected her though she needed no protection from him... he would never feed on one such as herself. He slid down and lay on his back. careful to remain within the shade

Tandrall chuckles, a friendly and playful sort of chuckle from his hiding place. "A friend," is his only answer. "Of the woods, and of any innocent souls who may be in trouble."

Lillia sighs deeply. She cannot remember the last time someone helped her when she was in danger. But then again when she is in danger there seems to be noone around to help or assist her. So she kept herself to herself these days, taking one day at a time

Ikari stepped back a bit still not trusting the voice behind the bush. she stopped and was now standing near Rei. she watched him then looked back at her hand feeling the pain from the deep cut on her palm. "man this stings"

Rei_ stood and extended his hand to her, taking her by the arm, his hand momentarily exposed to the light began to hiss and burn before he gently pulled her into the shade and ripped off a part of his shirt sleeve to tie around her palm. "are you ok?"

Serena walkes into the Garden,she scanns the room and sees several people.Her sees a familiar face,Rei.She walks over to Rei.''did my blood help you?''

Tandrall stops, blinking at this new information. "Are you hurt?" he calls out to her, his voice now filled with concern instead of his earlier glee. He actually peeks out from around the hedge just as Rei pulls her into the shade nearby ... and at the sight of Rei, his eyes go wide and a mild expression of horror comes over his face. For now, he watches with care.

Seli flicks a few switches and then lowers the tone of his pitch as he comes into land on an open patch of ground.. he then nods to Udwei as he takes control.. " Looks like a nice place Udi.. " as his Mechanic droid opens the hatch on the infamous freighter known as the Outrider.. he then walks out with his 8ei-Blaster in his right hand..

Heyuka_Seisioko Climbs the tree he was next to and jumps fomr branch to branch,twitching his fox ears then stops all of a sudden.He looks around smelling blood but then goes off again.HE happens to land next to a tree and looks down seeing a female,He jumps down a few feet from her.Walks up to her kneeing down to her looking to her face,seeing some what harror in it he takes some air in about to talk."Umm you ok miss,you seem alone and afraid"?

Ikari looked at Rei as he grabbed her arm. she saw his arm hiss and burn. she fell towards him as he pulled on her arm. she fell on her bottom. she lifted her head and looked at Rei as he tied a bit of his shirt sleeve around her hand. she looked at her hand and then looked at Rei. "thank you sir"

Rei_ looks up at Serena. "yes. thank you" he looked back to the young girl, seeing the blood begin to dampen the make shift bandage

Rei_ smiles at her and helped her to her feet "you're welcome. will you be ok?"

Serena looked at Rei and said ''you better not...'' and shook her head saying no to him.

Lillia turned her head towards Heyuka "Umm yes.. Just a little lonely thats all" She sighed deeply, looking down at the floor. A tear formed at the corner of her right eye, and dripped slowly down her cheek. Her pink eyes filled with sorrow

Rei_ his mood darkened slightly "don't take me for an animal... i would never feed form a child. i have enough trouble feeding of people in general... " he gave her a dark look before turning his attention back to her wound, merely concerned at the rate it bled

Ikari got to her feet and picked her book bag up off the ground. she looked at the bandage dampen with her blood. she sighed as she looked at her hand. "i guess i will be fine" she turned her head towards the direction she came to see if anyone had followed her.

Seli looks up to the cockpit where Udwei is looking down at his settings.. Seli then walks over to the garden and looks around with amazement..

Serena ''you do realize..i can heal that easy...and if you ever need blood,come by my place,i brew the best'' she crossed her arms and watched the girl and Rei.

Rei_ sat again as the girl walked into the sunlight, he looked up at serena, waiting her reply

Heyuka_Seisioko Looks sad as he puts his hand against her cheek taking away the little luquid rolling down her cheek,"If you want i can kep you company".

Tandrall now comes fully out from behind the hedge, revealing his full form. Chocolate brown hair curling about the goat horns on his head, a vest of leather donned over a tunic of forest green ... and furry legs poking out form enderneath to end in cloven hooves. He adjusts his backpack, making his way to Ikari's side in long strides, looking down at her before glimpsing to the other two.

Dante_Sparda wanders into the garden in a red vest, black T-shirt, and red pants. His short platinum hair hangs down slightly over his black eyes. The large sword called the Alastor, which has a dragon's head as the hilt, is strapped to his back. He also has a pair of high powered Desert Eagle .50 cals that rest in hip holsters. Feeling the strange aura he has become accustomed to, he smiles and makes his way up to Lillia. "Hello again."

Rei_ "thank you for the hospitalities... much appreciated. How have you been keeping then?"

Serena ''unicorn blood and scotch'' she said simply

Ikari turned her head and looked at Serena. she stepped back a bit not trusting her. she looked up at the sky as clouds began to form and cover the sun. "looks like a yucky day." she stood there breathing slowly. she dropped her book bag and put her hand on her forehead feeling dizzy.

Lillia looks at Heyuka touching his hand sofetly as he wiped away her tears "Yes please" She turns her head and smiles as she sees Dante once again, a man she knows very well. And also the only one she trusts with her life.

Rei_ "Unicorns? you take life so easily... you are truely an artist at what you do best. how's the store? muc business...."

Tandrall chokes and gags at Serena's words, acting as if he were just struck. He then glares at her incredulously, suddenly angered by something she said. "I certainly hope you are joking, madam!" he tells her, snorting fiercely at Serena.

Heyuka_Seisioko Looks to her smiling a little,"No problem",he then turns his head looking to the one she is.He then turns his body to get a better look to him.

Seli hearing Serena say unicorn blood and scotch.. made him think.. he then walks over to her " Impressive.. most impressive.. " as he takes a small tube from his belt and hands it to her " Try that.. " as he has a slight smirk to the right of his mouth.. " Pure Vampire blood.. no half breed.. Pure.. " as he looks at her

Serena ''meh..not alot of people need my blood...they hunt humans...i do not,i have every kind of blood exept human blood'' she corssed her amrs and looked over at Trandall ''no...no im not...tis the strongest blood in the keep''

Ikari kept her hand on her forehead still feeling dizzy. she looked at her left hand as the bandage was now soaked with her blood. "i guess the cut was deeper then i thought"

Rei_ leaned back against the tree feleing a little dizzy himself. he kept to the shade, but even that was a little too bright at times...

Dante_Sparda glances back and forth between Heyuka, and Lillia. He smiles back her, then nods his head at the man. "Hello sir. My name is Dante." He bows, then turns his gaze to Lillia once again. "You haven't gotten yourself into more trouble lately have you?" He asks with a sarcastic tone.

Lillia turned her head again to look towards the argument with Tandrall and Serena.. Then laid down again looking upwards "It will rain soon... We must find shelter!"

Serena looked at Seli ''sorry..i dont trrust anyones beverages..i just dont take peoples things..and they expect me to drink it...it might have poison in it...sorry,its just for my saftey''

Tandrall spits at Serena's feet. "'Tis sacred blood, that of which you speak. Those whose lips it touches harbor a curse for eternity, and bear the ill will of the woodlands to the extreme." His anger is clear, offering a hand down to Ikari and hoping she will take it. "Come with me, child, and I will see to your wounds."

Ikari looked up at the sky again as the clouds turned to black. it then began to rain heavily. she watched the rain fall from the sky. she looked down at Rei then closed her eyes feeling the dizzy spell.

Heyuka_Seisioko Nods his head lightly standing up bowing back so he wont be rude,"Nice to meet you i am Heyuka,or Hari its up to you really".

Lillia stands up and stares at Dante "NO I HAVE NOT!" she walks off quickly to find shelter

Rei_ the clouds block most of the sun, and he stands to meet the child and steady her as she is obviously not well

Serena looked at Trandall and said cooly ''me being frank...id say youve been watching to much Harry Potter''

Seli looking at Serena " Poison.. " he then takes a sip of it and then smiles " Trust me.. there is no poison inside.. "

Dante_Sparda laughs at her reaction, and fallows after her. He didn't mind standing in the rain, but apparently she did. "What's wrong, afraid you might melt in the rain?"

Rei_ he lifts the child and carries her to the shelter beneath a tree, looking over his shoulder at Tandrall as an invitation to follow, as he too had taken interest in her well being

Serena turns away from Seli ''i trust no one''

Seli smiles " Exactly like me then sister.. " as he begins to walk off

Ikari turned her head and looked at Tandrall then looked at Rei as he steady her. "thank you sir" she looked down at her bandaged hand again seeing that it was all red from her blood. she stood there breathing slowly. she looked at Rei as he picked her up and took her over to a tree. she shivered a bit from the cold. she looked at Rei and smiled. "guess this isn't my day"

Tandrall makes an odd face at Serena. "Firstly, my name is Tandrall. Secondly, I know of no such 'Harry' person. And thirdly ... you reek of undeath." He looks to Rei as well, yet is refrained from commenting as he watches his careful actions. Slowly he follows, standing over the pair as a guardian would.

Lillia finds an alcove in which to sit in. She ignites a basic fire spell to some stick to create a fire and sits there quietly sharpening her sword

Serena ''im well and alive...if you would like me to prove this just say the word'' she raised an eyebrow at this comment not getting mad.

Rei_ places the girl softly on the ground and stands, feelign the flames nearby. he looks at Lillia, and using new found talent, asks her through his thought. he looks at the shivering child and then to her fire "would you mind... ?"

Dante_Sparda tilts his head as she sharpens his sword. Either she wasn't in a very good mood, or she was just deciding to ignore him. He sighs and kneels down next to her. "Is something wrong Lillia?"

Seli walks back into his ship and then tells Udwei to take off..

Tandrall kneels, removing an instrument from his back ... something that closely resembles a guitar of some kind, but not quite. He rests it upon his bent knee, raising his chin even as he puts his fingers to strings and begins to sing.

Lillia looks at dante angrily "Why do you continue to mock Dante?"

[Lillia ] "Not at all.. Bring her here!"

Rei_ kneels by the girl, taking her hand softly and inspecting it "what happened?"

Serena i have better things to do then sit here listening to you guys saying stuff about my different life style'' she walks out of the garden to get Bloodshoppe

[Tandrall ] The words of his song are unclear to all those around ... perhaps Lillia would find a trace of meaning in the ancient tongue which he now uses ... but more than that, the song speaks of life. Pure, concentrated life. A subtle glow grows with each note and string, each rising of his voice. The power of life fills Ikari, and her wound swiftly begins to mend.

Tandrall spoke the truth. She did reek of undeath, whether by fault of her form or the company she keeps.

Dante_Sparda shakes his head. "I was merely playing around Lillia, you don't have to take everything so seriously you know." He stands back up, and glances around the garden at the many people. "Quite a few people here, isn't there?" He hopes to change the subject.

Lillia thinks to herself "Can I hears the song of healing.......But I thought that song had been lost forever.. Who is singing that!"

Rei_ leads the shivering girl to the others and sits beside her. "Who would someone like you run from? You hardly deserve to be hunted in any form"

Lillia looks at Dante once again "Come here Dante!"

Tandrall finishes his song, glancing around to the others, the horns on his head turning with his movements. "My, my ... we do seem to have a crowd here, don't we?" That mirthful chuckle is back, even as he bends low to examine Ikari's injury and see how well it's healed. "All better?"

Dante_Sparda blinks at her sudden command. Not liking to face a women who was mad, he takes a couple steps closer to her and sits down beside her. Looking into her eyes he tilts his head. "Yes Lillia?"

Ikari sat down next to Rei. she looked at the fire then at the ground. " there are people after me cause they want to put me in a foster home. they think i don't have a family. but i do they are just never home." tears filled in her eyes. "i don't want to go to a foster home. i have been looking for my older sister but i can't find her." her body still shivered from the cold.

Tandrall ponders the girl's plight, glancing thoughtfully to Rei.

Lillia leads him to a deeper part of the alcove, after raising the temperatur of the fire to warm Ikari up, she kisses Dante on the lips " I never did thankyou for saving my life in Euteria...Is there anything you need?"

Rei_ rubbed his hand gently up and down her bac kto try and heat her more quickly. "what's your name?"

Ikari looked up at Rei. "my name is Ikari" she looked at her hand seeing it had stopped bleeding. she looked at Tandrall. "thank you sir" she looked back at Rei then looked at the fire. she was still cold. she closed her eyes and leaned against Rei. she felt lost and scared.

Rei_ but his arm around her to comfort her. he wished his body heat could help warm her... but he would always be cold now. "nice name... i'll help you look for your sisiter if you'd like. when did yo ulast see her?"

Dante_Sparda fallows her deeper into the alcove wondering what she was up to. Is suprised by her kiss, but returns it happily, and shakes his head at her question. "Your welcom for saving you, but you don't need to offer me anything. Your trust is more than enough for me Lillia." He smiles to her.

Lillia Hugs him comfortably falling asleep in his arms

Ikari opened her eyes and stared at the fire. "i saw her 3 days ago." she sighed and closed her eyes. "she was the only one i could really talk to. she was like a bestnd friend to me." she opened her eyes as tears ran down her face. "after she dissappeared the people stared chasing after me."

Tandrall glances around, feeling the call of wanderlust begin to take him once more. The others here seem to have things under control, after all. Reaching into a pouch, he pulls forth what appears to be a handful of chocolate covered berries, offering them to Ikari as well as Rei. "These will help you keep warm," he tells them, looking to Rei uncertainly. "Though I'm not so certain it will work for you." He smiles back to the girl, nodding to her. "I will be around if you have need of me again. Farewell." With that, he stands and exits the cave, no fear of the rainstorm as he draws his hood over his head - child of nature as he is, he will never fear any storm.

Ikari looked at the berries but didn't take any. she watched Tandrall leave the cave. "thank you " she said softly. she kept her head against Rei. she looked back at the fire as tears ran down her face

Dante_Sparda wraps his arms around her, holding her to him as she falls asleep. He can't help but grin down at her, and he chukles softly. "Tired are we?"

Rei_ used his other sleeve to wipe her tears "don't worry, we'll find her. has she ever done this before, or would you know where to start looking?"

Azaezil And inbetween the flickers of the fire, the shadows would dance, growing noticably darker if one was to spot them. They almost glowed with darkness. And despite the flames, the whole area grew a bit colder as the fire slowly began to die.

Lillia shivered slightly from the cold draught through the alcove... she snuggled up to Dantes body, letting out a little smile

Enaid leg emerges from the weeping willow...shortly followed by the rest of her body a jingling of merry bells faintly carried upon the wind as is the sudden burst of fragarance of fresh blooming flowers...a shake of her head sounding like the rustle of leaves as her other slender leg emerges to complete the picture ...eyes glancing around the garnder

Ikari looked at Rei and shook her head. "she has never left me before. i don't know where to start looking." she slowly grabbed her book back and stood up breathing slowly. "i'm sorry but i must get home. my parents probably don't care where i am" she looked at Rei and smiled. "thank you for helping me sir. i will come and find you if i need your help" with that she turned and walked out of the alcove and into the rain. she headed for home.

Rei_ "bye..." as much as he worried for her safety, leaving him would probably ensure it a little more. he wouldn't feed from a child, but his stomach lurched and the blood on her hand was beginning to lure him...

Dante_Sparda feels the shiver through her body. "Come, let's go back to the fire. I can feel how cold you are." Reaches down and picks Lillia up in his arms and makes his way back to the warm fire she had created.

Rei_ lies back on the ground by the fire... its flames heating his cold body nicely. his stomach began to tug at him for another feeding, but he ignored it as best he could

Enaid sighs softly as one arm rises as she lays her palm flat against its bark...turning smiling as she mouths a soft " Thank you" before letting her arm drop once more to her side

Dante_Sparda lays Lillia down by the fire while she sleeps, and stares into the flames. Being from hell he always like the look of fire.

Azaezil 's unseen eyes within the darkness of the treeline spotted Enaid and grew wide. He was struck with an emotion he hadn't felt in so long...not since his awakening. How amazing she appeared to him. The shadows about the area grew darker, as if blushing.

Enaid fairy eyes look about the grounds she had emerged into...lingering somewhat upon the shadows...yet still the smile appears upon grapelike lips..she knew there where plantlife within those shadows....her head lifting as she listens to them

Azaezil shifted silently to a tree, placing his head and a hand against its side. "Call her to me," he whispered softly, stroking the bark gently. The tree would indeed do so. It would call to her. You see, Azaezil had quite a relationship with nature, himself.

Dante_Sparda looks around the garden, and notices the attention Enaid is getting. Being able to sense other's aura he keeps his eyes on Azaezil, the man he saw the other day, and Tandrall who looks like he is up to no good.

Tandrall half moves, half dances his way to just behind the tree from which Enaid had emerged only moments before, his hooves swooshing amongst the plant-life to announce his presence ... yet even as he pokes his head around the tree to look upon Enaid, he withdraws it swiftly before she can get even the faintest glimpse of him, pressing his back against the bark and waiting to see how long his game will last.

Enaid tilts her head a little.....that grapelike smile widening....she could faintly smell the beings that were here strange though they be....as she steps forwards away from the tree....the earth moving aside a little ...tiny grits of dirt sliding parting as new shoots begins to appaer bright green against the dark earth....the chiffon lifting lazily as she takes light steps away from the tree to the shadows....and thus she listens

Azaezil softly pushed from the tree, but not after pressing a kiss to its bark. "I thank you," he whispered. He lowered himself to one knee, bowing his head. "Come fair beauty," he began. "I wish to be graced by your presence." He stroked the earth below with a hand. His voice was enchanting as it called forth for Enaid.

Enaid laughs like bobbing heads of sunflowers..as her head turns slightly glancing over her shoulder..." I know you are there fellow wood creature do you think that those around you have not told me of your prsence..." head turning as she heard the soft velvet tones of another...." Why do you hide amongest the shadows do you fear the light?"

Azaezil lifted his gaze. He would not let jealousy ride him. He was better than that. "I will come to you, fair beauty," he whispered, and he stood. Gracefully he stepped free from the darkness of the treeline. He wore a black cloak, hood pulled up to cast shadows over his face. "I do not fear the light," he whispered softly, words that danced upon the breeze to reach only her ears. "I simply find myself most comfortable where I go unnoticed. Rarely of course, do I give myself away as I have done now for such radiance, such wonderous radiance that you alone possess in the darkness of my own world." He stepped softly towards her.

Dante_Sparda shakes his head listening the words from both men. He never found that using such words were necissary. He looks back at the fire, knowing that neither had the intention of attacking an unarmed women.

Tandrall goes as rigid as the tree he now leans against, eyes wide and glancing from side to side guiltily. "Wha- ... why, of course I'm here!" he tells her in his bravado, pushing away from the tree to stand tall on his own, revealing his well-chiseled torso and furred legs. "What reason would I have to hide?" he fibs, before leaning over and muttering to the tree with annoyed gaze. "Thanks for blowing my cover." A cough and a smile attempts to cover his chastising words, looking back to Enaid with nothing but innocence. To the stranger, he simply watches for now, wondering if there was truly any competition there at all.

Enaid chuckles softly upon his words carried to her like mist....those dancing eyes of hers watching as he finelly declares himself and steps into the open she found no need to doubt his words nor add words of her own...though hearing too the words of the woodland creature she steped to let both see the other and she them....." Your words sir are kind words...though the sun blesses all those around with her beauty as does the rain give life ...to chase away the cold dark corners...."

Azaezil 's eyes only watched Enaid. They gave off a faint glimmer within the shadows of the hood. He said nothing, he simply stood, silent. But he then thought to himself...he thought about opportunity and potential. He stepped up to her, so he may look upon her at greater detail, only to torture himself further.

Enaid watched them both one soo open in his appearance the other hiding himself away like some unknown being...where her footfalls had placed there grew life...tiny shorts at first those by the tree having already stretched and lifted their heads to the light beginning to blossom...others just starting to spring forth tiny leaves on each stalk....her eyes dancing from one to the other...a delicate brow raised as the hooded being steps closer

Azaezil dropped to one knee before her, reaching up with gloved hands and pushing back his hood. "My name is Azaezil," he whispered, revealing dark blue hair, long, surrounding his face. It was knotted, beaded, stranded. He looked up. The irises of his eyes were a very light gray, either eerie or beautiful. It depended on the being.

Tandrall glances down to the sprouts pushing forth from the earth in Enaid's wake. "Rain is not the only lifegiving force here," he tells Enaid in his robust voice, taking another hoof-step or two towards her, soaking in the beauty which radiates from her. "Where fey-step falls, the garden grows ... where nature calls, her children go." Swiftly are a set of pan-pipes drawn from his belt and raised to his lips, fingers twiddling quickly as a pair of notes sound forth, wavering between two pitches ... and from the nearby forest, a trio of deer come forth, the taller mother standing protectively over her two fawns. Tandrall smiles at them, nodding ... and as the mother nods back to him, the two fawns do likewise.

Sol_hallow walks to a tree where there is some shade and sits under the tree

Enaid each movement of her leg sent a merry sound of bells rising ....to hang upon the air before dispersing....the fragrance of her filling the sounding area a pleasured look given to Tandrall at his spoken words and when music of the woods begin to echo upon the land ...life indeed seems true....glancing to the male that knees before her eyes sweeping ovr his form lingering upon his own for but moments ..that name...yes she remembered it from ages old

Tandrall blinks, looking back to the dark-cloaked figure curiously. "Azaezil? Azaezil ..." A hand comes up to rub at his chin thoughtfully, searching his mind and memory. And indeed there is much that he remembers, being a creature not just of the woodlands, but of anywhere there is music and mirth.

Azaezil stood slowly, his form a slight bit taller than hers, yet he truly did look up to her, perhaps not in literal sense, but that didn't matter at all. His dark blue lips gently curved into a smile. "You are...Enaid...correct?" his voice was soft, soothing.

Rei_ a mournful screm came from the forest that bordered the garden. He stumbled back to this place, hunger now ravashing him and tearing at his remaining humaniy. he fell to his knees and screamed again in frustration

Enaid head nods gently as once more the sound of leaves rustling upon the branches.....a scent instantly drifting into the air...." I am......Azaezil" the word of his name like soft petals opening.....head turning to the merry music maker..." And yours.....wood creature?" head lifting suddenly as the air is pieced with the sound of a scream sharp and clear upon the air

Rei_ his nails... like talons, pierced the earth as he gripped the ground beneath him tightly, he began to wrench and convulse a little, his mouth forcing open and large fangs in veiw. his scream became animal like and his hair began to dyea blood red in his transformation

Sol_hallow pulls out his handgun and shoots in the air and a tree branch fall on his head "ooooooooowwwwwwwww!"

Azaezil 's head turned briefly to the screaming. He sniffed the air, knowing it was a vampire...or something of the like. The shadows whispered to him, reporting what was happening. "A vampire lurks within the forest, and he hungers," he whispered, looking back to Enaid.

Tandrall lets his arms sweep his forest green cloak aside in a grand sort of bowing gesture, hidden behind the massive horns upon his head for a moment. "Tandrall Tambora, wanderer and guardian of the woods, humbly at your service," he tells the pair proudly. A startled look comes over him at the sounds of loud noises heard distantly in the woods, his head moving from side to side. "A vampire," Tandrall snarls, his previous mirth displaced by a sudden bitterness. "Far too many of those creatures roam this hallowed place."

Enaid cringes as she feels the pain....the echoing shout of another being hurt......and in answer to that cry of help she does not linger upon the spot but runs with speed to where one lays hurting at a loss of a limb...." I am coming my friend....." words spoken to the air and carried before her

Rei_ trying to fight the hunger, his bodies instinct physically fought him back, he was throw from his knees to his back in a convulsion, he gripped the earth once more to try and stay where he was but his body writhed against him. his scream now like an animal growl as he fought his hunger

Azaezil shook his head, bending his knees briefly and pushing off into the air. He would come to slam down beside Enaid, running with her. "You musn't go. It is a trap. He will attack you. He hungers for blood, and he will not get it from you," he said to her. "No one needs to die here this day."

Rei_ tears of blood began streaming form his eyes as he fought, they smeared his cheeks a glinting crimson

Tandrall watches Enaid rush to the aid of the injured oak, though his attention is drawn more towards the feral screams of hunger. His own nostrils flare as he takes in the scent of undeath, repulsed by it. He cannot stand idly by. Let Enaid tend to the trees as she will. His business is with this vampire, for better or worse.

Azaezil shook his head, bending his knees briefly and pushing off into the air. He would come to slam down beside Enaid, running with her. He felt it as well. Foolish man with a folly weapon. Why did he bring it here?

Enaid but stops mere seconds as the male appeared so quickly beside her yet tarry not did she...but speeded bare footed to the spot where upon the ground withered a mass of flesh human ..or partly human lay....eyes searching quickly as eyes alight upon the recently fallen limb of the tree a smittering of blood she can see where the male had been hit...without waiting she moves to the tree be the male there or not her intention upon the tree

Azaezil came to a stop not far behind Enaid. He looked upon the damage with narrowed eyes. He looked towards the surrounding trees, being told of the man who had caused this.

Tandrall swiftly dashes through the woods on powerful hoofbeats, moving with the speed of his kind to the place where Rei rests upon the ground in tortured agony. As he comes into view, he immediately recognizes him as the one who had shown such kindness to a lost and hurt young woman not long ago. And now, here he sat wresting with a hunger beyond his control. Mixed emotions rise in Tandrall's throat as he stands there ... watching.

Rei_ rose to his haunches, fangs bared and breathes heaving deeply, the only thing seperating his animal hunger from Tandrall was the barrier of shade and sunlight. He had almost complete lost touch with his conscious self. this was instinct

Enaid steps to the tree her hand resting lightly upon it as her fingertips strokes its rough surface of the bark....." I am here now my friend rest...be well..." her words a soothering casacade of water over a waterfall....eyes closing as she sends her healing into the tree and along its limbs...the soft white flesh freshly exposed beginning to form a healing covering over the limb....

Tandrall just stands and stares at Rei, a cold sort of stare, yet he does not make a move other than to bring his hands to the twin hilts of swords strapped to his hips. Should his hunger give him enough courage to bridge the gap of sunlight, Rei will indeed feel the sting of his blades. And yet in his coldness, he feels pity ... his earlier kindness is deserving of some kind of reward. But what? What could Tandrall truly offer this poor soul other than a swift departure to whatever afterlife awaits him?

Azaezil looked to Enaid, his gaze softening slightly. "The man had a gun," he said, shaking his head. "Almost killed himself."

Rei_ confined to the shade like a steel cage... he screamed again in frustration. He gripped his hair tightly in his hands and screamed to no one in particular "YOU'VE CONDEMNED ME TO HELL!!!" his arms fell to his sides and he ran with invisible speed to the border of the shade , where he stopped dead, staring at Tandrall. but somewhere in his stare, the person he had met earlier gazed in hopelessness from his prison, begging forgivness

Rei_ still wretching about, the thought occured he could just tire himself out untill he passed out... and died in his sleep. but, then again,vampires don't die... he would simply slip into eternal coma. he didn't know which was worse

Enaid nods sending the sound of rustling leaves upon the breeze as she speaks soft soothing words ...letting the tree feel her ....and heal...and once she finishes she turns to look where the course come....the male screaming and running about like some demented animal...the others had said vampire turning completely now to watch him....the jingle of bells...faint yet there the fragrance rising....the ground begining to be covered with an array of blossoming flowers adding their fragrance to the air too

Azaezil growled, turning his head to the side. He bent his knees, pushing off again and leaping into a tree. He leapt from branch to branch, making his way swiftly to a spot beside Tandrall. From his cloak he pulled a vial and a small knife. He brought the blade to his wrist, slicing across, and allowing the blood to fill the vial almost immediately due to the amount. He corked it and tossed it downward. "Take that and be well!" he cried, grasping his wrist with the opposite hand to stop the flowing blood. It brought him pain, but it was a sacrafice he could make.

Tandrall still stands, flinching at Rei's tortured words yet having none of his own to offer in return. None that are comforting, anyway. "You speak of hell ... is the cursed life you lead now any better?" His gaze does indeed contain a sad sort of pity. He watches as the shadowy man gives of his own blood for the poor creature, making no motions to object, though he is not quite done speaking his piece.

Rei_ the bottle simply appeared to empty in a flash, the vampires agility concealed the swift movement... a human dizziness returned and he lay on the ground, consiousness lapping against him like waters on a shore. an almost silent whisper with his eyes closed "this existence is hell...."

Rei_ the natural blond of his hair returned over teh red, and the blood from his tears dried on his face. a slight color returned to his skin and his body rested

Enaid watches as first the man known as Azaezil seems to run leap....until he nears the other...an object dropped and within an instant a change comes over the other....landing upon a heap ...feet lift and fall as she hurries towards them...her companions following in scent and sound....stopping only when near enough to see clearly that which is happening

Tandrall steps into the sunlight, drawing one of his blades in a smooth, calm motion, the sound of silver scraping upon steel heard as he does so, holding it with both hands and letting the sunlight play upon its shining length. "This," he speaks for the others around him, "is Vaedaestaes. Redeemer. It is bane to all creatures who live without living. Any such who fall to its touch are destroyed entirely." He looks down upon Rei with a judging eye. "If you seek redemption ... if you fear hell less than you fear the half-life you lead now ... then I offer you the chance for something better."

Azaezil watched Tandrall curiously. "You have no need for that weapon." He dropped from the branch he crouched upon, landing on the ground with a soft thud, still grasping his wrist.

Rei_ closed his eyes as his body lay lifeless on the ground. "I am condemned in the next life as i am in this one. there is no redemption for me now, and what follows this life may be even more torturous. i cannot be redeemed. but thank you for your offer.... "

Dominique A quiet girl came running along towards the garden. A child of no more then four, golden locks bouncing on her shoulders as she giggled, and ran along. Looking around were large purple hues, until they spotted the one with the blade. A gentle whimper was made, perhaps this wasnt a good day for Dominique to go running around..A sigh was offered from the small child in her ragged clothing. Arms crossing themselves, looking towards the folk around, tilting her head a moment. A soft frown found its way onto the girls face, before she took a seat, curled up, whimpering. Probably much scared of one little thing like that.

Rei_ he slowly got to his feet and stumbled a little as he found his feet. the blond tips of his hair became stained as they brushed against the blood on his cheeks which he wiped away, suceeding in smearing it some more. He looked to the male who fed him "Thank you... an inhuman act makes me more humaine than my demon existence would have me pursue... "

Azaezil made his way to Enaid. "Are you alright?" he whispered, making sure she was ok from everything. He didn't wish for her to be hurt or weakened.

Enaid brows knit a little in puzzlement to words uttered by Tandrall...a woodland creature with such a weapon was surely not ......but perhaps here it was...dancing eyes turning to linger upon Az as he jumps down still clutching his wrist.....she could smell the slight tinge of blood what had he done....?...yet the male semed to be giving him thanks a kind act carried out a soft lavender smile as lips part....." I am well Azaezil....yet I see you yourself are not" stepping up to him as slender fingers reach for his damaged wrist

Tandrall gives Azaezil a sidelong look before looking back to Rei. And then there's the girl nearby. He sighs, closing his eyes. Nothing more for him to do here. His sword finds its home once more in the scabbard at his side, followed by a casual shrug that hardly fits his earlier coldness. "Ahh, well. The offer stands, in case you change your mind. But then again, I'm sure there are others ... nothing is ever as simple as we would first believe." He looks back to the shadowy man and Enaid now, finding it strange how she should know his name when he did not. And then, to the small girl he offers a warm and friendly smile. "I'm sorry if I scared you." And if that's not enough, he crosses his eyes right then and there, looking about as goofy as a woodsman can get.

Azaezil allowed her to take it. Blood still parted ways from within the wound, to the air outside. He watched her carefully, eyes on her own.

Rei_ looked up as the sun dropped just below the treeline, and the shade and shadows extended their reaches across the garden. he rubbed again at the blood on his cheeks and said more to himself in a small voice "besides, i promised i'd help her find her sister... "

Enaid frowns slightly seeing the droplets of bleed slowly dribble upon the hard earth under neath his arm.....eyes lifting to linger upon his " What did you do....?" the wound seeming deep...even to one of her limited knowledge of humanoid species

Azaezil motioned back to the vampire with only a jerk of his head. "I gave him blood so he could calm," he said quietly. "I didn't want you in any danger."

Tandrall rises slowly, uncrossing his eyes and shaking out his dark and curly mane. One last backward glance to the others is given before he just starts walking ... following the calling of the woodlands, yet knowing he would see them all again someday.

Rei_ found a pool of water and began washing the bloodstains from his face and hair. He then pursued Tandrall and stopped a little off behind him "forgive me... I... hate it as much as you hate to look upon it"

Enaid glanced over towards the tortured being......before her attention goes back to Az...." Why would I be in danger it seemed that Tandrall was the one he wished to taste...." she stepped closer to him...her slender fingers laid over the wound as if to stnech the flow of blood....." I believe the humanoids would....critrise the wound...though it seems primitive to me..." she could feel the slickness of the damp blood upon her own dark rich brown flesh

Tandrall stops in his tracks, looking back to Rei with a judging eye. He ponders for a moment, not entirely certain what to say. "I hope you find her sister." That is all before he looks back to the path before him and continues on his way, vanishing into the woods beyond.

Azaezil gazed into her eyes, nodding slowly. "I thank you," he whispered softly. No one truly cared as she did. He never really knew anyone. He only walked the many forests, alone.

Rei_ slid to the base of a large tree and leaned against its trunk, letting his body rest and absorb what it had so desperatly craved. he buried his face in his knees, feeling the blood both plauge and heal him
