[Devaine_Hawk ] A portal opens in the clearing out side the dojo. Shaped like a coin that spins edge over edge and side over side it spews forth a golden glow from its epicenter. Stepping back ward through the portal, Devaine arrives with both Desert Eagle s blazing away at some thing on the other side of the portal. Several long black tentacles ending in sharp claws and talons grasp at his jacket and the edges of the portal as some thing tries to follow him through.
[Flash_Guardian ] "Yesss!!" booms a loud cry of triumph from one of the private studies in the southern wing of Redfang Dojo, a sizable building that rests at the center of thickly forested Redfang Island. The study door is flung open, and out bursts Flash with a roll of parchment tucked under his arm, ink stains all over his fingers, and a bright-eyed grin of excitement blazing on his face. Quick strides bring him to the southern exit of the dojo, to look out upon a section of bare ground at the eastern side of the clearing, just waiting to be built upon.
Anwyn 's been doing her usual morning rituals, bare footed to tend the small gardens at the front of the dojo, fingers lost to the warm home of the soil as she resows the summer's crops of flowers and beans. The sudden portal has her on overtime, a mental flare shivering along rainbow spirit tendrils as she backs against the wall of the Dojo, still covered in the soft loam of the fertile ground. Wide, wide summer meadow eyes watching Devaine, and more importantly the portal with a fear she hadn't expected to know in the bright crisp spring morning.
Devaine_Hawk empties both clips dead center into the portal as it begins to shrink, forcing the night mare beast on the other side back. Finally the portal winks shut leaving an odd over sized coin hanging in the air in its place. Shoving the still smoking but empty pistols into the double under shoulder rig he wears under his jacket, Dev snaps his right hand out to catch the coin before it falls to the ground. In the act of closing, the portal sheared several tentacles off by about six inches and they squirm about his feet. Shoving the coin in a pocket, he draws Storm Blossom form her sheath and begins to hack at the tentacles until they are no more than sushi, causing them to fade back to the shadow stuff they are made of and dissipate into nothingness .Pulling a cloth from his pocket he wipes the blas of Storm blossom down and recreates her, damn chaos beasts he grumbles.
[Devaine_Hawk ] blase=blade, recreates =resheathes
Sam_Seymour as usual rolls out of the makeshift bed roll....rolling it up before lifting and leaving it against one of the walls...standing stretching as she gets the kinks out of her bones..the usual rituals finished with before emerging from the building..back pack on as per usual...a glance around the area before heading off over the lawn towards her other place of ritual...the stream
Flash_Guardian sees Devaine ... and the portal ... and watches as the creature is promptly decimated, chuckling to himself and stepping forward. "Tell me about it," he agrees, sympathizing with Dev all too well. A warm smile is also offered to Anwyn, comforting to alieve her fears. More than emotions are conveyed across that gaze, however ... thoughts are known to the pair even without words, that Devaine is a friend, and that Flash would never let Anwyn come to harm from any sort of nightmarish beast while his heart still beats.
Flash_Guardian gives Sam a quiet and friendly wave as well as she departs for her usual routine. He has only the barest idea what she does in the woods, but has no mind to question. Her business has always been her own.
Anwyn , with the sight of Flash, feels all the fear pour away from her down into the river of past...No harm would come to her, that much was certainty, and so easily conveyed in the blossoming brightness of her smile, rising slowly to her full height and brushing the dark loam from her fingers as she takes a few steps towards the owner of the Dojo, confident, rolling steps, fingers of spirit and flesh reaching out. Unsure of..all these people that seemed to come and go, even now.
Jaia-Asumoto The small bamboo raft slid smoothly into the sand of the beach. For the past two hours, from when she pushed off from the mainland, she had watched the island expand in her sight until the small raft beached itself. Stepping onto the sand, she inclined her head to once side eyeing the place for differences since she had last been here. Indeed, from the beach it appeared that nothing had changed. To any observer, she would appear to be the embodiment of death from shadows. She wore nothing but black, a short cloak draped about her shoulders. She wore legged trousers beneath that along with a Kenjitsu-Gi. The cloak being about her shoulders had a symbol on either side. To her right, an inconspicuous raven symbol, in navy blue making it harder to see. On her left, was the image of a Chinese dragon, all in white so it showed brilliantly in contrast to her black outfit. One could not see her face, as the bottom half was covered by a black scarf, and the top half of her face was shady, due to the wide brim of --
Devaine_Hawk would look to flash s eyes as if he had aged a year or more since they saw each other just yesterday. His eyes have the look of some one that has seen and knows too much. The lines in his face show that he hasn t smiled in the last few hours. Lighting a smoke and strolling over toward Flash he ducks his gaze and laughs. busy day
Sam_Seymour doesnt even bother looking around once she reached the spot by the stream...no one ever seemed to come this way...and so slipping the back off she proceeds to do what she had done since her arrival on the island...
Flash_Guardian happily reaches out an arm to draw Anwyn close to him in an affectionate embrace, even as his own spirit eagerly reaches out to feel that connection which they share, and soon they are surrounded by those intangible rainbow threads all woven into a brilliant cloak of comfort. The two seem almost inseparable, being side by side seeming all too natural as he leans forward to bestow a loving kiss upon her forehead. Flash quickly points out the faces that surround. "Devaine," he says, pointing to the sword-wielder. "Sam," the woman with the backpack.
Jaia-Asumoto of a straw hat, painted black as well. She appeared more foreboding than friendly, and due to her promotion...she was indeed getting that way. Beneath the cloak, on her shoulders, and down her arms...black pads of Nin Gi armour. Shaolin slippers, complete with white socks, protected her feet. In her left hand, dangled the sheathed katana, Ichijmond. However, this was not the only weapon she carried. Crossed over each other, slung over either shoulder were two Dae-katanas, both sheathed in black. She turned and began to pull the bamboo raft up onto the shore further, before turning to look up at the path leading to the Dojo. Time had passed and alliances had changed. Closing her eyes, the Japanese swordsman pushed the cloak back over her shoulders, slid Ichijmond through the sheath and began a sprint through the forest, faster than what most could be credited for considering the weaponry she carried. For moved for a while, until stopping at the edge of the clearing. Looking down into the clearing, --
Devaine_Hawk nods to the girl and comes as close to a smile as he ever does. nice to meet you he offers in a tired raspy voice. Looking over between two trees just to see if the old hammock he used for a bed is still there, he blows long stream of smoke up at the sky and shuts his eyes for a second. Opening them he looks at Flash Look boy scout, I know how being close to the powers that be puts you on edge, you sure you want me hanging around here still? No hard feelings if you don t
Jaia-Asumoto -- she at looked upon her destination at last. Redfang...Strange how much could change without one really noticing. Without wasting any more time, she began her descent from the forest outskirts, without bothering to remove her hat or scarf...Simply remaining unknown, as she approached her old training ground.
Anwyn beams, seeming to..grow..in confidence and vitality just in his arms, one of her gangly, long arms reaches to stroke across his back, resting on the Sensei's hip, even at the same moment her lips plant to his shoulder before her temple finds rest there. Such easy, thoughtless intimacy between the young student and the archetecht of the dream that is Redfang. Rainbow, warm and comforting latticing, plating with Flash's own spirit, a gentle, bright sheild, the comfort blanket of a child...And so much more all at once. "Devaine..." Her voice gentle as a breeze through the ever bending willow, her head inclining to send spirals of wild burning copper hair dancing in the breeze...Sam already out of sight.
Flash_Guardian looks back to Devaine with proud defiance. "I have already walked your path, Devaine. And I'm done with it. The gods may do as they like, but no single god or goddess will hold sway over my life anymore." Flash looks all about the clearing even as he continues to hold Anwyn close to his heart. "I've found new life here, in this place. I now know what it is to truly live, and I won't go back." Flash shakes his head, slowly bringing it to rest upon that of his student and companion, his newfound inspiration for the dream. He turns his head just slightly to look back at Devaine. "You will always be welcome here, Devaine. Now, it's my absolute pleasure to introduce you to Anwyn." Flash bumps her gently with his hip in a playful manner.
Jaia-Asumoto slaps the Keep server.
Anwyn let's a small, very happy little giggle spill from her lips at the unexpected playfulness, her fingers dancing up to tickly his ribs for a moment as she flashes Devaine a positively radiant smile, so much potential in the brilliant emerald depths of the girls eyes "Devaine, it's an equal pleasure to meet you..." Not speaking her mind on the situation, it was not after all a place she held, but a friend of Flash's seems to be a friend of hers. "This is a home for all who will keep the dream alive...Do you dream, Devaine...?" Her spirit singing a silent question that she won't ask to break the joyful mood... Or do you have nightmares?
Devaine_Hawk chuckles under his breath as he looks at the two of them. so glad for them, if they could see what I see.both of them Destined.well they where already under my protection now I guess its official they don t have to know he thinks . Looking around his eyes, both of them glow an almost neon electric blue, for the first time in a long time. this palce and you are going to be great Flash he tells his friend. He takes a long draw off the smoke and looks around.
Devaine_Hawk looks at the younger woman and the sorrow and guilt in his voice can t be hidden even by an expert at hiding things such as him self. I dream, and have some whopper night mares he whispers answering the unasked question.
Anwyn nods gently, a compassion that belies her youth swimming in her gaze, fingers of her free hand reaching to touch to Flash's friends arm a moment, nothing needed to be said, but her understanding is obvious "The dreams are the important part, Devaine...Dreams are much like stars...As long as there is at least one, we can still make a wish..."
Flash_Guardian acks in surprise at being tickled, squirming away from her fingers whilst trying to keep his attention on Devaineto whom he shrugs. "We'll see," he says whimsically. "But I've never been one to turn down a prediction of good fortune, so ... thank you." He looks to Anwyn, sensing the darker half of her question only to have it answered aloud by Devaine. "We all have nightmares," he says, adding his thoughts. "Fear of something just reassures us that we have something to lose ... something worth holding onto." Flash scans the outskirts of the clearing a moment, a faint stirring of the air catching his attention and giving him the odd feeling of being watched from the shadows ...
Devaine_Hawk turns away from the all too knowing gaze of the girl. You should always remember, every thing happens for a reason, no matter what, it may seem so cruel but as long as you keep hoping for a better reason behind it you have some thing
Jaia-Asumoto the slippers moved quietly over the blades of grass which lay between her and the North Wing of the Dojo. Assuming that attention would be focused on the far side, she picked up her pace until she dashed forward one arm behind her, palm flat, the other in front of her, elbow bent with her arm brought across to shield her face. As she approached the wall of the Dojo, she did not stop running...She simply shifted her weight down onto her slippers and catapulted silently onto the roof. How stable the roofing was she did not know, as she had forgotten the time she had assisted in it's construction. So she treaded lightly and silently. Ninjitsu had taught her much, but Bi Chun, Shin GI and Bichunmoo had taught her far more. Breeze blowing gently about her form, the black materials flowed about her like tendrils of shadow. Steadily she made her way to the South Wing, leaping silently from Wing roof to Wing roof. Moving quietly to stand on the roof, looking down onto the small group before her, she studied --
Anwyn is not so much a proponent of fate and fate alone, not anymore, but the words of both men ring like church bells to the faithful, an understanding in her as she leans to kiss Flash on the cheek...her holding onto him for a moment not without echo of his words. Spirit tendril whip out at his glance though, snaking rainbow probes looking for the cause of her love's discomfort, the partition of her mind keeping her attention to Devaine "Well..Fate has brought you home to Redfang, and allowed me to meet you, so I shall thank her for that, at least."
Sam_Seymour tucks her hands behind her head as she lays down upon the bank of the stream eyes closing as she lets the warnth of the day seep into her..a soft sigh escaping as she listens to the hum of the wild.life around her continuing as always. her brows knit a little as she thinks about returning to England it would have to be faced at some point and probably sooner would be better then later
Jaia-Asumoto -- the group with a cautious look, carefully observing the differences. She had seen Devaine the previous night, and he appeared to be in good health, save for things that plagued. His past, perhaps. The female she did not know, but Flash she did. It had been a very long time since she had set eyes on...so he was interesting to watch, as she had heard nothing about his progress. Indeed, he looked as healthy as ever, if some differences could be forgotten. She looked for a moment longer before realizing that what light there was, had cast her shadow across them. Pulling her left arm around her head, the cloak shielding a great deal of her body, she stepped back behind the point on this particular Wing's roof and leant back, intent on listening.
Flash_Guardian listens to the pair, not really having anything further to add. "Yesss ... fate is kind today. Devaine graces us with his presence for a moment, and I just finished the blueprints for the house." Flash brings the roll of parchment out from under his arm to hold it up in a stance of nothing less than victory, a proud smile on his face as he looks to Anwyn curiously. "How fare the gardens today?" he asks her, his eyes darting to the shadow cast by the roof of the dojo for the briefest of instances, even as he sends a silent message in his gaze. 'The roof ...'
Devaine_Hawk looks off into nothing not answering this time and he thinks back to the day before. Using the Coin of Fate for the first time had took him to the Middle East to save the kid who would cure cancer and aids from a suicide bomber. He d stopped the bomber, dead in his tracks as a matter of fact before he could hit the school bus .but a second bomber had hit the school it self. All those kids and teachers, dead so one could live. Dev is finding out what a cruel mistress Fate and Destiny can be. He has to wonder if they did that to him just to show him who is pulling his strings now. What he did after, the terrorist cell, none of them will ever blow anything up again that s for sure. He looks at the couple again and some thing catches his astral sight, he looks at flash with a grin.no not going to do it, so tempting
Anwyn looks back to the small gardens, those tendrils replying to the silent message, intangible rainbow threads reeling up the wall of the dojo as a fisherman's cast line....Seeking answers as she smiles to him, her eyes looking back to the parchment, seeking to see any hints of the plan "Seeds are sown, now we watch the flowers grow..." His pride reflected in her voice, a perfect pair. Her eyes souly to the face of her lover 'The roof.' an affirmation.
Devaine_Hawk glances at the roof, the all too familiar aura of the one there giving her away to him, he doesn t think she s there he knows. Jaia how many times do I have to tell you, you can not sneak up on a psychic girl? he calls out. His gaze goes back to the couple and he looks closer. maybe I should tell him, this place can be from time to time. he thinks. Taking the coin of fate from his pocket he flips it into the air and catches it, heads up. Listen you two I think I need to let you in on some thing. He starts out, but he has no idea how to finish.
Sam_Seymour pushing herself up brushing the leaves etc from her clothing before reaching down and swinging the back pack over her shoulder slipping an arm through it before repeating the action with the other strap hefting it a little into place. a soft shake of the head before making her way towards the beach and long the coast the smell of the ocean reaching her even its taste leaving the salty crystals upon her lips as she heads for the earth bridge back to the mainland
Jaia-Asumoto frowned, as she did feel something discomforting. Her Ki burned, as it appeared energy was being manipulated through feelings. Devaine's memories...No, something else. Making as little noise as possible, she brought both her arms up, holding the edges of her cloak. Her Ki began to burn, her newfound chakra steadily adding to the effect. As she now lay in the shadows, she the cloak began to expand covering her whole body before slowly becoming transparent. Inside the cloak, the blue mist rose up from beneath her slipper covered feet, flowing and ebbing around her...masking her presence further, with a trick she had been taught. Light that shone on her would only show a shadow that would not be pushed aside by light. However, this did not make her completely undetectable. It simply made sure magic, and psionic energy was thrown around her. But the catch was, a small part of her presence could still be felt, but could not be traced to her exact location, no matter how great the mind that tried to find her.
Jaia-Asumoto -- It would be beyond a doubt, that one would sense apart of her somewhere...but the cloak kept her in the shadows, so to pinpoint her would require closer investigation. One she hoped they were not up too. Hearing Devaine she winced and frowned. Well...He did find apart of her...Hopefully, her Ki did not drop...otherwise, he would find out where she was...But her identity was already discovered...So what was the point? Then she reminded herself and smirked. It was fun, that s why...
Flash_Guardian sees the turmoil and upset in Devaine's gaze, and knows all too well what he feels. He's seen those emotions in his own reflection plenty of times before. "Hey," Flash calls to him sympathetically. "Try not to focus on it too much, okay Dev? Good or bad, the future must move forward. You aren't just a cog in the machine ... you're the grease that smooths its working. There will be accomplishments to be proud of, and other things ... well, try to let those pass. They will, in time." In response to everyone's curiousity, Flash releases his hold upon Anwyn and snaps the parchment neatly open, holding it up for all to see, paying no heed to Devaine's beginning warning. He also turns to let the one on the roof have a clear view of his plans, now that he knows who she is. She could remain hidden if such was her wish. But Flash knows she would at least want to see his plans. She had always been so eager to see Redfang prosper.
Devaine_Hawk decides to do it in a round about way, let them figure the rest out on their own. Pulling a smoke from his pack he holds it out to Flash. I know it s not a cigar but congratulations
Fox would be heralded by a low but constant groanoing. More like the bass yawn of something titanic waking up from a hangover-induced sleep. Until a small of black lightning exploded from the floor at a small distance from the crowd. It then gave off a small amount of harmless discharges of the same energy trace save for the crimson-rose aura eminating from the streaks. His form then hovers into view albeit distorted and warped, his eyes wide and his body fluttering as if being torn apart. Amidst the entrance it would be unusual to say the least; but the stablisation is obvious as his mammoth form declines in its fluctuations and becomes more visible as well as solid in its composition. . .
Flash_Guardian looks oddly at the ciggarette ... and even more oddly at Devaine, not knowing what to make of such a gesture. "You know I don't smoke," Flash tells him, clearly not understanding the gesture. But perhaps it's best left that way, especially in Flash's case. He has no desire to have the privelege of foresight. Not anymore.
Anwyn 's gaze is absorbed on the plans, her smile becoming a beam, the balcony, the master bedroom...the studies...everything, everyone's...The girl laughs and throws herself into the arms of her lover, her arms around his shoulders and a kiss to his cheeks, and nose "It's perfect..." Forgetting protocal, forgetting to be embaressed, just happy...Devaine's words lost to the split attnetion on the plans, and the tendrils that seek the woman by her absense...Where the psionic tendrils failed to flow...Like seeking a black hole by it's refraction.
Devaine_Hawk feels the old tingle at the bottom of his spine and knows some thing is going to happen, he steps between Flash the girl and Fox a split second before he finishes materializing . Flash you have to listen to me, get your self and her inside right now, just in case, your kid is not going to be an orphan he states cool and calm. Drawing Storm Blossom he faces Fox and speaks with steel in his voice. knows now that if you try and harm any of those gathered here, your fate is already sealed, stranger
Fox steps out. The small distortion of his travelling warp cleans itself up, merely leaving his presence standing there and casting a long shadow perhaps over the others. " Dammit....here again? " echoes his hollow, almost mechanical voice.
Devaine_Hawk has to go in a few moments, sorry all
Flash_Guardian relinquishes his hold on the parchment in part, a light and mirthful laugh sounding as he wraps an arm around Anwyn, smiling and blinking twice, once for each pair of kisses before he nuzzles his nose against her and rests his head upon her shoulder. Protocol has no standing in the face of love ... love never plays by the rules. His eyes follow the flow of her rainbow spirit, seeking the presence upon the roof. He whispers in Anwyn's ear gently. "Don't worry. It's Jaia. She's just being shy."
Fox looks down then to Devaine....and breaks out into an incredulous grin. An echoy chuckle follows. Yes, he is laughing at Devaine. " Oh, put the knife away. I know Flash and I know I'm on Redfang. " comes that voice - a cross ebtween Darth Vader and God.
Jaia-Asumoto looked toward the scroll, brown orbs narrowing as she focused on what he held. Looking down, she sighed and wished she knew how exactly deal with all the changes, but as she had pledged herself to Redfang...She just hope all her allegiances didn't cross themselves. Throwing her arms back, the cloaks part again the blue mist vanishing in the blink of an eye. Turning, she moved to sprint up the slant of the Dojo roof, and once she reached its summit, she leapt into the air, somersaulted head over heels, as both hands flew up behind her back, taking hold the Dae-katanas. As she spun down to land, they came out in a blinding Flash of steel. Landing nimbly, she crouched low, feet spread apart as her left hand, she lifted out behind her back, the Dae-katana in that hand protruding out behind her, the right one she flicked forward, until it was about six inches in the air before Flash's face, whom knowing him...would not have so much as flinched. Her left foot spun around behind her right one, which remained --
Anwyn 's showing no fear of the newcomer, not safe in Flash's arms as she is, her cheek nuzzling his flaming hair, green eyes to the towering, lumbering figure, shivering a little, she can't help but feel a frizzon of fear at that voice. Jaia though hadn't escaped her attentions, still...seeking..with a tenacious force. "She has no reason to be shy, as I have no reason to be trusting.." A response in kind.
Devaine_Hawk relaxes just enough to take one hand off the hilt of Storm Blossom and reach in his pocket for the Coin of Fate and flip it , catching it heads up. Alright, you re benign enough for Destiny I guess that s good enough for me, names Devaine by the way
Anwyn puts that above the first of a Jaia mammoth post
Jaia-Asumoto -- planted on the ground as the axis for her body weight, which was astoundingly light. In the same movement as her left foot, her left hand flicked out, and in one quick thrust was point directly at Devaine's side, as he was distracted by the newcomer. Having both men, several inches from death, she believed it would appeal to their common sense to remain very still. She smiled vaguely from behind the black scarf, eyes hidden by the edge of the hat, "You know I hate it when people spoil a surprise." looking at Devaine now, she shook her head. Psychic or not, he could not have anticipated that...Despite making her point, she did not leave this stance...keeping both of them at sword point.
Devaine_Hawk just waits for what he said to flash there too kick in..
Fox raises his head a little, his remaining eye looking down directly at Devaine with a solemn, examining look to the boy. " Destiny has no bond upon me. As strange as it sounds, I am outside Fate while my missions are underway. The pleasure however, is mine... "
[Fox ] " And by the way. You have a breadknife only a few inches away from you. " *G*
Devaine_Hawk does remain very stiil if you kill me, who is going to push you out of the way of that truck next week Jai? he ask with a smirk.
Flash_Guardian looks back to the materializing figure curiously, still holding the blueprints with one hand. "Oh. Hello, Fox," he says with the utmost casuality. "And if you didn't want to be here, then why not just leave?" Flash chuckles at the large stranger ... and suddenly a hand whips forth to knock aside a blade so swiftly presented. Indeed he would not have moved, were there not someone else in such close proximity to him. Someone who would certainly not feel comfortable with a stranger offering them blades instead of greetings. And he is certain that Devaine would not look so kindly on such threats either. Indeed, Flash does not seem pleased. "And I hate it when people make their entrances upon a razor's edge and threat of harm. You should know that better than anyone, Jaia."
Devaine_Hawk would post better longer stuff if he didn t have to go in a few
Anwyn does instead...still...The blade heard, the whisper of it felt as keenly as a thrust of it. The girl's shivering form like ice in Flash's arms, all the mirth draining from her...Sinking into the pit of long held but hard fought timidity. The young woman was still..just that, young, inexperienced in so much, but she knew one thing all too well....Danger.
Fox grins. And nods. " I'm glad you can see it's me, Flash. However, although partially solid...this is still only a projection of sorts. It means certain conditions. Your other guest seems to be a rather sneaky type, and in a manner I suspect could be easily unmasked. " He muses, a red hand reaching up to stroke his own chin in a thoughtful manner. " But anyway. " He grins with a quick wink to Flash, " I advise you teach your friends the evils of prejudice as well. How fares you though? "
Devaine_Hawk sheathes Storm Blossom and turns to face Jai now. Lighting a smoke, he shoves a finger right in her face. and if you ever pull a blade on my riends again, I won t just kill you, I will wipe out you and that damn clan your so proud of, fate be damed do you under stand me ? he ask in an ice cold tone.
Jaia-Asumoto waited, still in her stance, her right hand slightly altered as Flash had knocked it aside, but she tensed her arm before his blow could knock it aside completely, so it was still in a position to strike again. Upon hearing Devaine, she flicked her wrist back, and slid the Dae-katana in her left hand back into its sheath over shoulder, "Devaine, since when do I go near trucks?" Relaxing her left arm, so that it simply pointed toward the ground, fingers together, palm flat. She watched Flash through eyes that were now burning blue; if he remembered correctly...usually meant she was on the verge of a destructive will. But she smiled beneath the scarf, and moved her right hand back sheathing the Dae-katana. "It seems, one can't make an entrance. People change...and I do feel compelled to break rules. However..." she flattened the palm of her hand and stood up straight, allowing Devaine to turn on him with his own blade. She did nothing, but simply look toward the ground, "Don't be a fool Devaine. --
Devaine_Hawk flips the Coin of fate into the air, and it grows to portal size. Flash Tya tells me I have some where to be, and I have to be there if you know what I mean he tells his friend. But after what just happened I think you have to know this, sorry if I spoil the surprise.. he points to Amwyn. She s carrying your child; make sure nothing happens to any of you . He steps in the portal, and disappears to a place neither here nor there, not then or now, the cross roads of fate and Destiny as the Coin takes him else where.
Jaia-Asumoto -- I am more than a match for you...and you alone against the Seito would see you dead. No matter how much we differ, that s the last thing I want." looking up now toward Flash, she nodded. "In my hostility I have profaned your Dojo. Deal with me as you wish." moving both delicate hands over her back, she slid her hat down over her shoulders, and unwrapped the scarf from about her face. Her face was as homely as it had always been, but appeared for more experienced than before. "I won't ask for forgiveness. It is simply, your judgement." flashing a cool smile at the female by Flash's side, in gentle, but quick reassurance, she knelt down on one knee, with one fist curled against the ground, head bowed low...face impassive.
Devaine_Hawk sheathed Storm Blossom, jai he didn't turn on any one with a blade
Jaia-Asumoto notes that it was drawn. Thats generally how Jaia interrprets it. Shubukai principal.
Cassandra smirking having fun testing her new skill to get here she would be running so fast she was running on the water itself. Just as she reachers the beach she front flips fowered landing, looking around her she blinks thinking how much of a nice training area this is. With that in mind closing her eyes standing on the beach she sends some soul shots in to the air about 20, she then makes them fly at her from all directions, still with her eyes closed she begins to back flip front flip and any thing to avode them testing out how hwe speed was doing right now.
Flash_Guardian would be all for small talk, but his priorities first lie with the protection of the timid, those who do not yet possess the skills and lightning reflexes required for confident safety from the threat of a speedy blade. Flash takes a step or two away from Jaia, keeping his arms about Anwyn protectively, yet not restricting the girl from running should that be her choice. Indeed, Flash would hardly blame her should she choose to retreat from the wild animal with her fangs so bared, and now fortunately sheathed. He looks to Jaia, then to Anwyn. "Your fate or forgiveness is not with me, Jaia," he says, looking to Anwyn inquisitively and waiting to see her feelings.
Njoka floats through the air, this time landing nearly 100 feet from his ussual landing and watch area... Maybe its mainly because he doesnt have the energy to defy gravity anymore... Thus, he steps through the forest, his steps were light, calm and weak in a way, his aura was low, though he was not hidding it... He made his way slowly to the dojo area, where most gather from what he knows... Stopping just before the opening out of the woods... He looks out, leaning on a tree, in his mind he would speak, though in his eyes his words would come out... "...still too weak..." He almost felt pity for himself, normaly, he would look down at creatures in his state with a pethetic thought, and nothing more... Now, it was he who was tired, weak and wounded... He stood still, watching now.
Nel coming in with the air smiles as she sees Cass on the beached lands close to her just waching her from behind "still weak and pathic i gaave you a week and now your time is up lets see if you have anything i have not already seen befor i kill you" she said moving hair from her eyes glaring at Cassandra her arms folded and ready to go.
Devaine_Hawk has to go, been great as usual, night all
Jaia-Asumoto waves to Dev and wishes him well.
Flash_Guardian can almost sense the growing crowd ... feeling almost as if he is being pressed in upon from all sides, where normally he would fully welcome such a multitude of guests. Perhaps it's Anwyn's own timid nature finding home in his heart, their spirits so wound about each other that he feels what she feels. So for the moment, he chooses to fade slowly into the background and let what will transpire.
Cassandra back flips evideing the last one she smiles then gulps hearing her voice " N N NEL" she said turning around seeing her, "leave me alone, i just wanna train and become a good fighter i dont wanna die" she said looking to the floor knowing Nel out classed her, she looks up "just say you won and then il never show my face again i promice" she said takeing a few steps back wondering if it was worth trying to run.
Njoka 's attention was pulled back to the off area, it would seems energy was being put out, in such a way as if a battle were to take place... He turns to walk to it but falls to one knee... Gritting his teeth he would speak from under his breath "I cant be too weak to walk, this is pathetic..." He balled up his fist and stood again, continueing on his path, stopping short of the beach, looking out to see two girls, he leaned against a tree at the edge of the forest to the beach looking out... He may be a little weak now, but watching was easy enough.
[Fox ] " I'll be off for now. Flash, make sure you keep this place intact and that none of the agents of the false Gods stain this place. They seem to be multiplying in the last week or so. And if someone claims to be omnipotent at magic or whatever, you can tell they're bullshitting. " A fiesty grin he bares towards the host, followed by a smart nod. Then he would slowly begin to fade out softly, as if layer by ayer of transparency was retreating..
Anwyn 's as safe here as she is anywhere, the girl turning in the hold of her lover to glance at the kneeling form of the black clad woman....It's all too much for her...the people, the warring thoughts, the...Everything...There's no thinking, just the sudden flare of psionically empowered wings...Shimmering like rainbows trapped in crystal, each one tipped with a bright crimson "I care not for them...I care not what happens..." The truth at least, she was suffocating in the crowd and cared only for her lover...A step back, his hands taken in her own and she's expanding her wings and..leaping..soaring...seeking the freedom she craved, together, alone.
Flash_Guardian calls back to Fox with a nod. "Thanks for the warning, I'll keep it in mind! Come back anytime!" He waves quickly, still rather on guard. He can sense rising hostilities, and doesn't like not knowing what his feelings entail. "Anwyn, let's head inside," he tells her softly.
Nel would smirk "cass you belive a top girl assassion like me is gonna let a little runt like you make a fool of me and get away with it" Moving hair from her eyes grining with a look of Malace in her eyes "Nope you will die here and i will kill you slowly and painfully" she said walking towords her the young Assassion smirks a little her eyes sencing fear in the young girl not attacking just walking to her as she triend to back off finding this so amusing.
[Fox ] " I will... " his voice echoes out...and exit.
Cassandra blinks she new she could not run Nel was as fast as the wind she just stoood in her battel stand now glancing at Nel looking for a weak spot being running at her with all her speed her hand would glow and the whole area was englufed in a bliding ligh with that Cass back flips and if all gose well Cass would have kicked Nel hard in the face landing on the floor in a defencie stand.
Flash_Guardian can feel the outburst from Anwyn washing over him, getting swept up in her rush of emotion. Indeed, he too wishes to escape, and shortly do his own crimson wings sprout forth as the wave of desired freedom breaks upon his form, his own wings pumping and propelling him up into the sky alongside his love, rising above the danger, above the meaningless conflicts ... above allegiances and things non-concerning to a pair of hearts clinging to a greater dream.
Njoka narrows his eyes to the edge of a blade, watching the two, he liked Nel already, her way of using fear to invoke the predictable ment she was good in his book, at least for a while, his book only had a half of a page... His head lowered letting his silver hair drop down in front of his now closing eyes, as he looked deeper than the skin at the two, searching their souls as to speak.
Njoka turns and slides down the bark of the tree, leaning against it with his eyes closed for the moment, as if sleeping, his own being, or body if you will, would fade from sight, but he would still be there, as if it were a way to stay safe while sleeping...
Flash_Guardian gives a final wave to the occupants of Redfang seen below ... his friends, for whom he has best wishes and highest hopes. As he does for his island, and the sanctuary it represents. "May we meet again on friendlier ground, Jaia," he calls to the wind, hoping it will carry his words along to the ears for which they are intended.
