Tandrall strides in on powerful legs, admiring the bounty of well cultured flora in many myriad and colorful arrangements. A pleasant smile adorns his face as his hooved feet plod along, preferring grass and earth to cobblestone as he wanders amidst the greenery, taking in what sights he will.
Little_Half~Breed_Kodora she sat under a sakura tree sleeping soundly. she layedo n the plush spring grass on her stomache, ehr head resting on her arms. she wore a purple hakama, a whiteh aori and used her long, overly large white kimono was used as a blanket
Tandrall walks along, past lush gardens and flowing fountains. At one point he turns from the path to walk past a Sakura tree, spotting someone sleeping there beneath its boughs and branches. The little half-breed Kodora, fast asleep, as he sees her from his safe distance. He shakes out his shoulder length, thick hair, twin curved horns and watches her for a moment to decide what to do.
Little_Half~Breed_Kodora she purred soflty in her sleep, dreaming of jester. oh she issed him. his insane laugh. everything about him. she shuffled arond and curledu p oner her side, a small sappy smile on her face
Arcadia slowly enters the garden and sits on a stone bench near the fountain. She takes in the sweet scent of the flowers around her and softly sighs.
Tandrall just smiles down at the young woman, glancing around at the ground nearby before finding himself a seat upon the grass, hooved and furry feet poking out from beneath his cloak. He shrugs off his pack beside him and unstraps his guitar-like instrument, quickly tuning it with the speed and expertise possessed only by the spirits of the wilderlands. Another newcomer arrives, to whom he spares a brief glance and a smile before resuming his tuning.
Little_Half~Breed_Kodora she perks an ear hearing the horrid music. she popend one eye lazily and growled eritably at him " shut it up" she hissed " i'm tryi ngto sleep"
Tandrall had not been plucking the strings of his guitar loudly, if at all. As mentioned above, he is only tuning it at the moment. The music is yet to come. "And sleep you shall, little one," he tells her briefly, glancing over at her just briefly with a cheery smile before at last bringing his hands to the guitar and preparing to play.
Little_Half~Breed_Kodora she growled angrily at his tuning. " go away" seh issed, covering hertiger aears with her arms. he didn't have to be tuning loud , she had sesitive ears and nothing had to be loud for her to hear it.
Tandrall at last finishes, realizing that he would soon lose his audience if not careful. He closes his eyes, listening carefully to the silence of the gardens briefly before fingertips at last begin to pluck at the strings, producing music of a wondrous quality and tone, a lilting and soft melody rolling ever so gently through the air. Some incorporeal quality of the music seems to make the air feel heavy, and sleep would seem to come quite quickly to those nearby that would hear it. Far from disturbing sleep, it would very much encourage it. Not enforce , mind you ... just encourage.
[lone_wolf ] lone_wolf pirks up her wolf like ears to listen to the sounds all around her,she is very curious of all of them the birds and insects.she is very delighted that this garden of wonders was so beautiful, she hopped from tree to tree with her K-9 abilitys her black trench coat and long black and white hair floating and shimmering in the light of the moon.
Little_Half~Breed_Kodora she yawned teirdly form the melody and drifted back intosleep.she curled up into a ball, her white kimono covering her completly.
Tandrall continues to strumm his gentle melody, fingertips gliding on strings as a warm summer's breeze, a tune that flows like the gentle stream nearby, patient as the timeless oak and fern. He looks around him once more, pleased to see that the young lady has indeed fallen back to sleep and he has not disturbed her. He will go ahead and finish this one tune, he decides, and then move along to someplace new.
Alejandro flows into the garden, moving with uncommon grace. . . not silent, for he does not wish to be silent. He moves to the edge of the pond, pausing momentarily to gaze at the moonlight on the undisturbed surface, a small sigh escapes his lips as he leans his back against the nearby tree.
[lucien_lacroix ] lucien walks over to alittle pond in the garden and sits on the edge,he is relaxed and very calm, his ice blue eyes are shimmering in the moon light like the water of the pond, his black leather trench coat sits with him just above the waters reach,he dips one of his fingers into the water and swirls it around,he sits in the moonlight quietly and calmly relaxing as the only sound he can hear is the ripples of the water and the insects.
Alejandro 's gaze slowly and expertly gathers the details of his surroundings, eventually resting on the dark figure sitting close to him at the edge of the pond, their eyes share the light of the moon, but unlike the stranger's blue eyes. . . Alejandro's charcoal eyes soak up the light
Tandrall eventually brings his tune to a gradual end, slowly winding down in tempo and volume, his last note almost impossible to catch even for the best of ears. With his finish comes a final look for little Kodora, apparently satisfied with his work. Not often do his magical melodies serve a specific purpose, so it pleases him greatly when they can. He pushes back up to his feet, guitar in one hand and reaching for his pack with the other, preparing to leave.
[lone_wolf ] lone_wolf looks over to the man sitting near the pond and her ears lift high into the sky, then she sniffs the air,she is very curious about this man,he smelled of death but yet he seemed alive, she was now even more curious so she slowly sneeked up on the man ,she climbed down the tree then crept closer for a better veiw of him.
[lucien_lacroix ] lucien was aware he was being watched and even looked back in curiosity at the starnger before him,but then he looked over at the young half breed of the wolf who was trying to make such an effort to get closer to him for a better view,he then smiled and looked at the moon.
Alejandro starts slightly as the creature scurries down the tree beside him
[lone_wolf ] lone_wolf crepted closer to the blue eyed man but then notice he was not alone and scurried back alittle she was intriged by them eahc of them quiet and she was sure they didn't know each other, she thought to herself as she jumped up a tree to get a good view of the pond and the 2 strangers.
Alejandro examines this creature with curiosity, he has been in this realm only a short time and not yet completely accustomed to seeing beings such as this part-wolf
Tandrall slings his pack onto his back and straps his guitar back in, sparing one final glance to the sleeping Kodora before wandering off in a new direction, following the moon's light across the garden until at last he comes within sight of some kind of pool where creatures are gathering. He stands amidst the other fineries of the garden next to a tree close to the figure of Alejandro, not bothering to look in his direction as he speaks softly to him. "They only come out at night. Don't you agree?"
[lone_wolf ] she then notice the one nexted to the blue eyed one has taken a notice in her,she sniffs the air and finds she is in no danger but then she remembers the other mans smell he smelled of death and her tailed started to sway with such a thought, she had never met a creatute like that before and it was clear to her in order to get close enough to either of them she'd have to come right up and say hi.
Alejandro nods in reply to Tandrall without shifting his gaze " Ah maybe et is de sound of a musica which draws those such as these? no?"
Keiko walks in her eye's a dark green she walks as if she is dead .she walks up to a bench and sits on it waiting for something
[lucien_lacroix ] lucien notices the young girl is coming up to him, slowly but sure he could sense her hearts beat racing,he turns around to watch as she makes the first move, but he looks over to the bench where a familar figure sits.
Tandrall raises a hand to his hairy chin and ponders, stroking at his goatee while the moonlight paints his curled horns with pale blue highlights. He inspects the pool's occupants, lone wolf and Lucien, each in turn. "One has moonlight in her heart. The other favors night from day. Each has reasons, for their part, and walks the night in their own way." He smiles lightly, amused at his sudden poetics as he at last looks to Alejandro with a smile. "Why is it you choose to walk this night, if I may ask?"
Alejandro steps forward, his feet never crossing each other as he moves, keeping his body balanced. Crouching by the pondside he leans down and scoops up two handfulls of moonlight and splashes his face with the cool water.
[lone_wolf ] lone_wolf looks at the blue eyed man and gets up on her hind legs and decides to go over and say hi,he was nervous she had never ever in her life time met a man like this it excited her,she loved danger."ummm..hi im lone_wolf but you and call me wolf whats your name?"she asked with a small smile
Keiko looks at the poeple but dosen't say any thing she just turns her back to the position it once was
Alejandro looks up at Tandrall after drying his face with a handkerchief, his deep charcoal eyes resting on those of Tandral conveying an overwhelming sense of unrest " My eyes do not let me zleep"
Keiko looks over at lucien her dark green eye's fixed on him she then turns back to were she once was looking
Tandrall raises his chin towards Alejandro before nodding. "Ahh. A restless night, I see." He chuckles musingly, gazing out over the trails of moonlight shimmering across the surface of the pool nearby. "This is as tranquil a spot as one can hope for, at least without wandering to the further reaches of the uncivilized lands. I suppose I shall make my music here ... a moonlit serenade for whomever would hear." Tandrall eases himself back to a sitting position, hooved feet once again poking out from underneath his cloak as he removes his pack and rests against the tree.
Sirithyulmaiel walks into the garden and takes her usual seat on the fountain. She gazes at her reflection in the water, then dips her finger into the cool, clear liquid, rippling it out. She looks up at everyone and doesn't see anyone she recognizes...
[lucien_lacroix ] lucien looks over at keiko and then at the girl before him and smile slowly and say"lucien_lacroix my dear...umm can you excuse me my dear will contiue this chat later" he said as he walkd over to keiko.
Keiko looked to see lucien walking her way
[lone_wolf ] "uhhhh...sure mister i'll be waiting here"she was stunned just like that the man said EXCUSE ME and walked away just like that, she was even more amused now,she waited by the pond for him to return
Alejandro peers for a moment at the bard's hooves, his brow furrows, but he shakes his head and rises, he takes a moment to observe the movement of the others in the area then begins to move gracefully around the edge of the pond; oddly still never crossing his feet, almost like somesort or graceful shuffle
[lucien_lacroix ] lucien walks over and sits by keiko "well my dear what brings you here? you don';t look very well..is anything bothering you?"
Keiko looks at him"i'm not really keiko i'm her spirit she's in the hospital in a coma and might not live "she said looking at lucien then the sky
Tandrall removes his guitar once again from its place on his pack, bringing it to rest on his lap and hands to their places. He looks now to the moon nearby, staring at it's pale blue surface intently as if somehow puzzled by it. He sits there in silence for some time, as if trying to decide something, ears catching other words floating along in the night air near the pond.
[lucien_lacroix ] "i can see that my dear...i don't know what i can do about that when i left you and crono you seemed alright to me what happen?"he questioned her
[lone_wolf ] lone_wolf looks over at the man sitting on the other end of the pond the one that spot her first,he seemed quiet and oddly nerous or maybe it was just the way he was sitting.
Keiko looked back at lucien "it's not his falt i thought if i climbed a tree i could see Fire looking for me i walked out on to the branch and it broke i fell on my head and then every thing went blank till now"she said to him
Alejandro makes the circuit of the pond, then sits cross legged by the pond near Tandrall, leaning back and supporting himself on his arms he cocks his head to the side in anticipation of Tandrall's next peice of music
[lucien_lacroix ] lucien then looked up and the sky and thought for a second"how do you know if your going to die then? comas come my often with crono he use to fall out of stuff all the time and hit his head but by the 35th time he was immune to it,but each time he awoke out of his he was just fine they never said he was going to die, just that he had brain damage."
Tandrall at last stirs from his moongazing, closing his eyes and bowing his curly-horned head as fingertips set upon the strings, drawing forth a rolling melody with no particular direction or pattern to it ... just notes that mysteriously roll along one after the other, the tune as elusive as the moon and stars themselves ...
Keiko looked at lucien "i know because it's just not a coma it's also broken heart and from what the doctor said that i had damgaed my brain pretty bad and it could happen i believe it will happen i will die because i have given up all hope for the world and i've given up on myself i won't live long"she said looking back at the sky
[lone_wolf ] "and what would you like me to do about this my dear..i can save you,but i don't know if my life style is for you...my life means no sun light for forever and no food, you can love occanilly but you will have to move on..your beauty will not die,you will be young forever, but think of the problems, are you willing to make such a sacrifce? i highly doubt it"lucien then looked to the moon and remained silent
Erika walks down a path towards the garden. Her hair plated and resting over her shoulder. She looks around as she comes upon the garden's centre. She moves over to a bench and sits down, crossing her legs. She fixes her dress so it is neatly around her legs so only the tip of her shoe is shown.
Tandrall plays on through the night air, guitar strings twinkling in the twilight like a dance of stars paying homage to their much larger and brighter moonlit king, a silver-lined rhapsody without rhyme or reason ...
Erika glanced over to Tandrall as he played his song... She heard it as she was coming down towards the garden. She looked down at his fingers as they moved up and down along the guitar.
Tandrall must have felt the pair of eyes upon him, as they open in the lady Erika's direction without disturbing the melody in procession. Horned head bends in appraisal, guitar still resting upon furred legs which stick out from underneath his long green cloak, the melody as entruiging as it is entrancing and never ceasing or seeming to find a fitting end. A friendly smile is given, eyes twinkling in the starlight as they would appear to be pleased with what they see. No words are given, but the tune itself seems to shift ever so slightly, almost inviting ... still he sits with his back to the tree, looking out over the pool as moonlight chases a path across the water.
Erika smiles back at him gently, nodding her head. She stood up from the bench and moved over to the fountain and sits down. She did the same thing with her dress again and started to fix her hair as she watched him.
Tandrall returns Erika's nod with one most regal and befitting of any royal or noble, smiling pleasantly. His song begins to pick up just a hair, its winding string of notes constantly wending down from the heights like falling rain for a time, at last gaining some sense of repetition and movement as would befit a song rightfully. The rhythm slows back to a crawl before stopping entirely, letting the last note linger, Tandrall sitting still as a stone. For a while all that can be heard is the fountain trickling nearby ...
Tandrall at last stirs back into motion, though this time his melody is fair and sweet, calm as the nighttime sky and equally as enchanting. A melody can at last be found in his working of the guitar, none which Erika has ever heard before. It plays light and soft, with just enough volume to be heard by those on or around the fountain ... and since there are only two, it is reasonable that Tandrall is now playing solely for the young lady. Words at last come into the music, sung by a voice deep and crooning. o/' The sounds of birds fall silent as the wolves begin their song ... the sun hides o'er the mountains ... the moonlight bathes the land in light ... it plays amongst the fountain ... o/'
Erika smiles and taps her foot to the beat, humming gently underneath his singing, so she really wouldn't of been heard but by only him. She Then stopped when he did and clapped.
Tandrall smiles to hear the woman's foot set a-tapping, her humming joining in subtle harmony to the tune. He slowly brings the tune to a close with a flourishing chord, letting it slowly die away into the stillness of the night. At her applause, he beams proudly and nods his curly horned head to her, laughing merrily. "I thank you for your approval as well as your accompaniment, fair mistress. 'Tis hard to find such an audience at this hour."
Erika laughs as well, her voice just as soft as her humming. "You are very welcome My Lord... I very much enjoyed your music. Have you been playing for long?" She tilted her head slightly, letting her hair fall off her shoulder and behind her. "You played very well..."
Tandrall leans in closer from his cross-legged seat nearby, either to speak a bit softer or to get a better look at the lovely woman so well framed by water and stone behind her. "Imagine, if you may, the furthest reaches of the deepest woods. And in these woods, imagine a tree that towers high and mighty above the rest. I have played for all the time that tree has grown ... an ending to my rhymes I've never known."
Erika smiles and closes her eyes slightly as she pictures these images he is explaining. She smiles and opens her eyes slowly and nods. "Well you played so well.. I am honored to be able to be apart of you wonderful melody My Lord.."
Tandrall laughs at being bestowed with such a noble title, shaking his head. "Tandrall will do just fine, m'lady. I am more prince than pauper, and more untamed than proper. And do you also have a name? One that holds as much as beauty as you yourself, I should hope?" He tilts his head to one side, eyes half-lidded as he looks to her in plain admiration.
Erika laughs slightly and nods. "Okay... Tandrall.. My name is Erika.. and I am just as untamed are you..." She smiles and looks away from him and at her side. She blushed slightly at all his comments of her beauty... She didn't see it herself.
Tandrall raises his nose high, closing his eyes and humming as he seems to savor the sound of her name. "Erika," he repeats slowly to himself, nodding as another smile creeps over his face. He looks to her once more, brow laced with slight indecision. "Indeed, I am now at an impass ... is the name more beautiful than the lady, or the lady more beautiful than the name?" He chuckles lightly, shaking his head and making it clear that he seeks no such answers. "No need to glance downward and judge for yourself, my dear ... beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, and hides itself well from the beholded. Should such beauty ever reveal itself to its owner would beget the excess of vanity, and therein lies beauty spoilt."
Erika looks over at him and smiles. "You are a charmer Tandrall..." She brought her hair back over her shoulder, holding onto it gently. "May I ask something of you Tandrall... would you teach me how to play like you... or even to sing with you once again... Not now of course...." She blushes again. "Um... It just sounded so nice... and I would like to at least do something as beautiful as that melody..."
Tandrall lifts his horned head to appraise the woman once more, though this time his gaze looks inward more than outward and his smile is somewhat less, perhaps a bit more judging this time. "Many a maid has asked to learn the melodies I have to teach, though few have shown the talent ..." His expression is neutral, still trying to judge if this woman is worthy of his time, so sparse as it is.
Erika nods slowly and stands up slowly. "It was just a thought.. It really doesn't matter." She bows to him, "Thank you for the song..." She turned and went back to the bench where she started at. She sat down with her feet on the stones that surrounded the garden beds. She leant over and picked up a flower that had trampled on. She rested her head on her knees, twirling the flower gently between the tips of her fingers.
Tandrall watches the girl as she walks ... as she gingerly reaches for the trampled flower ... as she rests her head upon her knees and plays idly with the flora between her fingers. At last he rises onto those powerful legs, pushing himself up and slinging his pack onto his back once more, still holding the guitar by the middle in his strong left hand. Hooved feet clamber upon cobblestone as he makes his way to the girl's seat upon the bench, kneeling beside the woman as his fingertips reach out to run gingerly along the soft petals, and possibly take the flower for himself if offered. He seems almost sad to gaze upon the poor abused plant ...
Erika sat up slowly as she lets him take the flower from her fingers. She brushed her hand against his as she pulled it back, placing her hands on her lap. "I don't like how some people treat nature.... All it is here for is it's beauty.. and it's smell.."
Tandrall raises the wilted flower to his face, gazing at it and turning it over a time or two, frowning. "The world has abided for far longer than any would care to know," he mutters dimly. He moves to a space far removed from the fountain and cobblestone, to a place of bear earth nearby, kneeling over his chosen spot. Setting his guitar aside, he jabs into the earth suddenly, pulling it back and placing the broken stem of the plant within before releasing the soil, allowing it to surround the plant once more. He rises now, returning to the fountain and gazing to the woman as he passes, a gaze that is knowing and respectful.
Erika turned and watched him as he buried the plant. She smiles gently as he walks past. She watched him. She glanced back at the floor. "Oh... Tandrall.. you forgot your guitar..." She moved over to where he buried the flower and gingerly picks up his guitar and moves over to him and holds it out to him.
Tandrall seems to ignore Erika for the moment, so set upon his task as he is. He cups his broad hands and dips them in the fountain's water reverently, rising slowly and carefully making his way back to the flower's new resting place. He is careful not to spill as best he can, though a few drops fall on the way in a trickled path. "Man would seek to be the master of nature, when in reality nature knows best, and has its own agenda." He kneels once more before the plant, opening his hands and letting the water spill around its base. He then leans in closely, lips so close to the petals as to be almost touching. Soft words are spoken, yet unheard by Erika's ears. At the end of all that, he rises, still looking down at the flower sticking up out of the ground. "Some would do better to simply know their place in this world, and not make it for themselves." He catches himself at last, breaking from his placid formality as his former smile takes hold once again, glancing back to the woman and eyeing his guitar.
Erika watches him. She placed the guitar back down. She knew she had down wrong. She shook her head at herself and then turned around. "Um.. Sorry..." She started back down the path she had come, stepping over all branches on the ground. She felt more like and idiot more then anything now.
Tandrall reaches out to grab hold of the woman's arm before she can release the guitar or even depart, his face softening somewhat. "No ...!" He suddenly seems awkward. "I am sorry ... that was not meant for you."
Erika turns her head slowly to look at him as he grabbed her arm. "I shouldn't of touched what was not mine.... I am the one that is sorry." She placed her hand on his and gently pulled on it. "I should leave now... before I do anything else just as stupid." She would turn back again and start to walk off, going through parting trees, down a not very well made path going to the heart of the trees. If he stops her again... Then she doesn't go through the trees.. Or he could follow...
Tandrall takes the guitar back sadly, not wanting to restrict the lady a second time. "There was no stupidity in your actions, miss. You hold it well, in fact," he calls after her. "Perhaps when next we meet, we shall have to see if you can play it just as well." A wink is given before he straps his guitar back into its resting place before turning to go. "It was pleasant meeting you this night, Erika. I do so hope we meet again." As he turns to go, if Erika is watching, the flower so recently placed in the ground seems to slowly straighten, petals regaining its former color as it turns to face the sky once more, its vigor restored and given another chance at life.
