Flash_Guardian now finds himself in a place he hasn't visited in quite some time. But why not? Everyone needs a bit of a vacation at times. Flash has spent entirely too much time on Redfang. Yet somehow, the Pub just didn't sound like what he was looking for. He needed a good match ... something to invigorate him and make him feel alive again. And that's just why he's here, casually walking underneath the archways and entering the familiar arena floors. He pauses as he has done so many times, looking around at the empty place and smiling to himself before picking out his own spot to begin warming up.
Flash_Guardian rolls his shoulders, bringing his arm across his body as he walks over to an out of the way place, then the other arm, shaking his head briskly before dropping down into the splits, stretching out his legs, palms flat against the ground before him. Then, after his legs have gotten a good stretch, his arms press down against the ground, lifting him inches from it with his legs still held out to either side, his arms shaking a bit from the strain. Then, he slowly rolls forward to put his back towards the sky, and continues to roll his body forward, legs coming together slowly and rising up into the air, the end result being a handstand with Flash's head facing away from the arena's center.
Jaia-Asumoto simply stood in the centre of the sandy pit, which was the heart of the Arena...the central fibre of soul for the warrior's world. Her posture was absolutely perfect, relaxed and composed...her leather jumpsuit highlighting the smooth curves of her slender body, as she remained completely relaxed. Ichijmond had been placed on the ground beside her trench coat, toward the edge of the Arena. Her black hair was long enough to tie back and she had done so. Her back was facing Flash's direction, and despite her almost perfect posture, her head was bowed, eyes closed as if she were sleeping. However, with the entrance of Flash, her Ki flared up at the very recognition of his presence as his back was turned unknowingly, it seemed toward hers. The only thing that was different, was that her Ki actually took on a physical manifestation...her very soul rising from around her feet like tendrils of blue smoke billowing at her very thought. She extended one arm forward, the blue energy shrouding over it, --
Jaia-Asumoto -- consuming the limb completely in a haze of blue. Her eyes snapped open, blue orbs with their freeze glare that would pierce a man through. She had changed more so than before, and this was enough to prove it. No longer did opponents have to sense Ki...now that could see it, and if her will demanded it, they would feel it. Her weapons had been placed aside, so she merely stood there, Ki surging, eyes staring into oblivion. She had only sensed his presence, and as his back was turned, she would do nothing for now.
Flash_Guardian sits absolutely still, eyes suddenly widening as he is alerted to the presence of perhaps some of the strongest Ki he has even felt in his life. Someone was powering up, and he had a good idea that whatever power was being gathered was meant for him. But such was the nature of this place, right? To come seeking battle ... best to simply greet his opponent and quickly step into the match. In one swift motion, Flash springs off the ground with his hands, twisting a time and a half, spinning through the air to his feet and landing with a puff of dirt as feet contact earth solidly, hands held out and ready, eyes looking to his opponent ... a woman who he only halfway recognizes. For now, he stares, the situation he finds himself in rather unexpected.
Jaia-Asumoto stepped backward, one pace toward Flash...without turning around. She would wait, allowing for himself to ready before, turning around slowly her hands spreading out, fingers tight together as she stanced slowly, right foot forward, left foot back...weight distributed evenly between both feet. Having reached her axis, she simply stared at Flash with a look that oozed venom. She had been offended, and wasn't in the mood for easy forgiveness. Her left arm extended itself to its full reach, as her right arm was pulled back, her elbow held back behind her. The blue energy seethed around her in a mass of smoke. Her voice began to rise, and her Ki grew, expressed through her voice, which boomed through out the Arena, a breeze becoming a gust as sand flew in every direction away from her. The energy seethed and grew, until charges of electricity, also blue began to crackle around her body before gathering in her fists. Her power reaching a climax, which no one had witnessed before, save Flash...whom --
Jaia-Asumoto -- would find none of this a pleasant experience. Her Ki rose constantly, along with her voice, the breeze becoming stronger until it stopped as soon as she silenced her voice. The physical Ki vanished, and she leapt forward in a sudden flury, pivoting left and right, with a velocity which made it extremely difficult to anticipate her moves, until in almost a second, she dropped down on her hands, feet kicking off the ground toward his own feet, her hands keep her weight and balance while she spun in low. She made the first move.
Flash_Guardian was ready for his opponent ... right up until he recognized who she was. And now his face falls, jaw slack and staring in absolute horror, fists uncurling and hands falling slighty to his sides. "No. Not Jaia," he mutters, pain and guilt over their last encounter washing over him. "Anyone but ... gyah!!" Her charge would bring his focus back, seeing her coming, her moves jagged and irregular. No way to guess. For now, a simple leap from the ground, tucking and rolling backward, an backflip in an obvious retreat from which he hopes to buy himself some time as the memories come flooding back to him ... he had to handle this situation correctly, or may forever lose a friend. Hands at the ready, he anticipates the next attack.
Jaia-Asumoto as he flipped through the air, she merely continued her assault as if it were a pre-planned combination, for no sooner than he had leapt, her feet followed through, before swinging around behind her and kicking off the dirt so that she was stabilized, and moving with the speed of a blur, however uncontrolled it appeared...it was certainly planned. She took notice of his hands in preparation for an attack, but did not stop. The moment he landed, she was upon him...her left hand snatching toward his left, in attempt to either, grab it or knock it aside, preventing it from assisting his right hand as she did the same to the opposite hand, preventing either from assisting each other. About a moment before she would have been successful her Ki flared again, her speed accelerating, her strength nearly doubling. In her absence from Redfang she had manipulated her Ki to the very point, that it acted as a living battery, fuelled by combat making her faster, stronger, more improved, more flexible as --
Jaia-Asumoto -- time progressed, so rather than wearing down...she had moulded the Human spirit into a literal, rigorous juggernaut...with the strength of mountains, and the speed and grace of a thousand felines. Added to her aggression, this made her a very dangerous opponent, as her glacier blue eyes burned their bright blue flame. She was on the offensive, a rare thing in any warrior.
Flash_Guardian can almost feel the energy coming off of this woman, like the heat one feels standing close to a bonfire. Quickly does he find his left hand deflected, though he does not allow his right one to suffer the same fate, turning sideways and drawing it back behind him as Jaia barrles towards him at incredible speeds, tensing at just the right moment to lessen the impact ... no way around it, this was going to hurt.
Jaia-Asumoto was finding it hard to believe that Flash was so easy to defeat...She had seen him fight better before, why was he holding back? But then, what did it matter? As soon as his arms were knocked back, the other behind his back, she was only inches away from him. To simplify the move, she kicked off her left foot, pushing herself forward and upward in the same motion, toward him. Her right knee came forward hard toward his stomach, as her body put all it's force behind it. If it connected with his stomach, he would be winded to the point of semi-awareness, and then the rest of her body would ram into him, making the situation, rather gangly and ungraceful, but none the less...would secure her the victory, or not...and simply leave him dazed. None the less, the force, and speed that she moved it would have made a freight train look like a snail. It would hurt, but somewhere...she hoped there was some fight left in her opponent.
Flash_Guardian somehow manages to see it coming ... perhaps the way her legs slams into the ground or draws back before hurtling toward his gut. But in any case, he sees it, twisting and bringing his right hand forth to connect with her own blow in a rather impromptu flat-palm strike. The blows connect with the sound of thunder striking a tree ... Flash's footing was unstable, so he ends up getting knocked back a ways from the force of the impact, feet scooting across the dirt with a grating sound before he seems to recover. Both arms swing forward now as Flash executes a kind of backward spin-kick, foot flying out in an arc as he whirls, more to discourage her from pursuing him so aggressively ... and indeed if she does, the foot will likely connect. His leap is high, also, as he seems to have run out of retreating room ... his leap carries him up onto the walls that surround the arena to land up above her, watching Jaia cautiously.
Jaia-Asumoto at the velocity she was moving, the palm that be brought down to block her knee would have hurt him more, and the pain on her part would have only been fleeting, as her attack was far stronger with the momentum in full swing. Of course, the quick and easy solution was finally out of the way, and it appeared as if Flash wasn't going to disappoint her by going down so easily. It had been her who had attacked which, by rights, had her at a disadvantage. But she had trained too hard, and too long to even consider it as a problem. Flash had skidded back, but instead of flying past with all the momentum she grinds her right foot into the sand, and stopped as if her leg had absorbed the full force of the charge. Neither did she skid, but there was a large amount of sand that was blown up from the impact of the foot kicking down into the ground. Her boot did most of the absorbing, so she felt very few negative affects. His kick, which was to discourage her following him, could only last so long, and no sooner --
Devaine_Hawk pulls the black Hum V up out side the arena . How did he find Flash all the way out here ? Who knows this guy has a habit of finding whom or what he s looking for . Any way, he s here now . He climbs out of the vehicle and walks to the cargo door in that back raising it and reaching in to pull some thing long and shiny out, the sun light catches bright metal and reflects off it . A sledge hammer, one of those long handled type that s used in heavy construction work. He lings it over his left shoulder, and starts his walk toward the stands in the arena . He figures Flash is here to spar with some one, he likes to do that from time to time . He sees a familiar aura other than flash s inside and nods . Yep, her this one has been a long time coming between the two, so he decides to stay out of it . When he steps through the arch way to the arena , looking at him , flash would see the old Dev from days gone past . Long black jacket, with the hilt of Storm Blossom sticking out of the collar over his left sh
[Devaine_Hawk ] left shoulder . White silk shirt under the jacket, a bulge under each arm as well. Blue jeans, and the old equipment belt around his waist , the tow night stick like weapons hang from his sides. Then there s the boots , rattle snake skin, with chrome tips . Aviator sun glasses hide his eyes , no way of knowing if he s using his psychic senses right now. He takes the steps up into the seas of the arena two at a time and finds a good vantage point, setting the long black gym bag in his right hand down beside him. He nods once to Flash and just sits there watching

Jaia-Asumoto -- had it passed and he was in mid leap, she had turned the full momentum of her charge to bear, and leapt into the air, which sent her sailing across the distance between them. She had made sure that sufficient power from her launch propelled her to land neatly on the wall, quick enough so that he did not have enough time to prevent her stabilizing. It was a quick conversion for her balance and she attacked almost instantly. Both fists propelled forward, one toward his cheek, the other toward his chest. She closed the distance between them, balancing on her right foot and due to the distraction provided by the near futile attack with her fists, her left foot flew out dangerously, intent on causing his shins damage, and unbalancing him. Not waiting to see if any of those attacks were a success, she would follow through with the left kick and kick off again, leaping neatly over Flash's head in a spin. She would land, with her back turned, and whether or not he was unbalanced; she would kick out toward --
Devaine_Hawk sits there in the stands, to all watching he is just an observer, but for a man with a photo graphic memory that is all it takes some times .he lights a smoke and reaches up to toy with the diamond stud in his left ear , an innocent gesture. A slow grin comes across his face as he watches the two go at it, and he covers his mouth with it to keep Flash from seeing it .
Jaia-Asumoto -- the base of his spine which, if connecting, would cause him to topple from the wall, with enough confusion and force to make sure the landing hurt. All the while, save for when she leapt, her eyes were focused on his...glacier blue orbs, screaming murder in every way. She had been wronged, and now he would know what it meant to be on her bad side. He would know what it meant, to dishonour one like her, under any circumstance. She was an Asumoto...and she was not going to accept weakness from someone she had once idolized.
Flash_Guardian is far too busy trying to keep away from Jaia's pressing offensive to even notice Devaine's entrance ... truly both fighters are showing a great deal of focus here, as well as emotion. This is no ordinary practice match. That spinning back-kick had served its purpose, buying Flash just enough time to gain the focus he would need to fend of Jaia's next blows without need of further retreat. Both punches easily deflected by a single arm, leg drawn upward in a backward hop to avoid the shin kick, and perfectly placed for a retaliative kick ... a kick that unfortunately meets with air as Jaia flips over him neatly to attack him from behind ... so he instead follows through with the kick, stepping back and away from Jaia and turning about to face her. One hand neatly comes forth to deflect and ensnare Jaia's foot, while another hand comes back behind him. Flash's focus seems to intensify ... or perhaps he's distracted?
Devaine_Hawk props his feet up on the seat in front of him , stretching out, wishing he had some pop corn . They re good, both of them. He ll give them that . He just came here to tell Flash what he s going to be up to the next few days so him and the others don t freak out if he s not around the island for a while . He won t tell the boy scout just how he plans on doing it, he knows Flash wouldn t agree with some of the methods he uses . But what Flash doesn t know won t get dev another lecture . And this case, this one is personal . One f his friends is in real deep bad major, and she needs help. Dev is going to do what ever he has to, to who ever he has to do it to in order to get results . It might get ugly, in fact he hopes it will. It s been frustrating, not being able to do much up to now. He hopes some one wants to do things the hard way. That s why the sledge hammer, the long black duffle bag, those tow bulges under his arms are all back. It s the old Dev alright, the one who might not be nice, but he s e
[Devaine_Hawk ] but he s effective , he gets results when the chips are down. And they ve never been further down.
Jaia-Asumoto found that once again the defensive was the easier of the two roles of combat, as he attack was easily fended off. Her focus did not seem to improve much more than it had been in the beginning of the fight. But, as he had seen the physical manifestation of her Ki...he may have realized why she did not tire or relent despite the futile. The Ki made her improve as combat progressed, strength, speed, and flexibility all improving. A battery that charged in the rush of adrenaline. She found her foot caught in his foot and yanked hard enough toward her, bringing her fist forward. If he wanted to fall off the wall, or run into her fist he would continue to hold on, otherwise he would release her foot. But, she did not wait to see what he would do. She would make it as painful as possible if he persisted. Kicked forward, deliberately falling short of the target, regaining her balance almost immediately before throwing another punch toward Flash's stomach, and not waiting to see the results, she forced another --
Devaine_Hawk pushes his sun glasses back up his nose, that sun grin is back . He doesn t feel all that bad about what he might have to do this time . For a change, he s doing it for a good reason, his won reason. Some times you have to do bad things to get good results , that s how it works in the grey area Dev is so at home in . he pops his knuckles, then his neck. Pushing on the sides of his head from opposite directions to accomplish that
Jaia-Asumoto -- punch lightning with lightning accuracy with the same fist, toward his chest, intent on knocking him back. Her leg would have been stretched into the air at what appeared an extremely painful angle, but expression showed no pain. Only aggression. Her fist would continue to punch toward his stomach and fist over and over, in a succession that her attacks seemed to move fast enough that timed appeared to have no relevance. It appeared as if her attacks were on a 'fast forward' motion, as the speed become faster, her control improved, and the strength behind the blows becomes equal to that of a freight train, in strength, if not in speed. Eventually, if he did not release her on his own accord, he would be forced to release her out of pain.
Anwyn was confused, the young barefooted woman leaning heavily on a simple staff, more of a rounded beech branch than anything, and is being almost lead by a large grey tabby cat who mewls unhappily with the displeasure of being off the safety of the Island, the chid having been there since her impromptue arrival some week or two ago, and she seemed to be healing well, no bruises no and the limp near faded to an irregularity. To any with the sight though, the third eye if you will, the girl was a fiery pheonix of warmth, a rainbow of light and colour, little skeins and ribbons of energy washing about her, touching to all aspects of the suroundings and throbbing with information relayed. Glazed eyes saw nothing, but this, her spiders webs of spirit saw everything in almost overwhelming clarity, face pale and drawn by the efforts she couldn't control.
Flash_Guardian was actually counting on the fact that Jaia would resist his hold, so hold on he does, drawn quickly towards her with the strength of her own blow. One foot remains planted behind him as the other lifts and moves forward, sliding along the ground as Flash gets literally pulled into the splits underneath Jaia's blow, his rear hand coming up from behind to strike at her own midsection with a flat-palmed strike that packs not just the force of his own arm, but that of Jaia's withdrawn leg, using his grip on her calf to steady the blow ...
[Flash_Guardian ] Curiously, the strike is crackling with some form of energy as it comes in ... perhaps that's what Flash was doing with his hand behind his back, charging for a more powerful blow. "Shocking Strike!" Should this blow strike her stomach it will not only knock the wind clean out of Jaia, but also pack a substantial jolt of electricity. Flash is currently too low for any of Flash's punches to hit his chest, and instead strike his arm again and again until at last it simply buckles from the force of the blow, releasing her at last.
Devaine_Hawk makes this last post to wrap up his reason for being here , for a loose plot thread for Flash. He pulls a small silver ring out of his shirt pocket and holds it up for the light to catch. Flash would know what ring . He reaches up to tap his ear ring one last time and whispers some thing behind a hand that covers his mouth again. The he stand and picks up every thing he carried in with him, and quickly makes his way down the steps , out the arch way and back toward his Hum V out side the arena.
Jaia-Asumoto as her previous punches, which had been connecting with his arm, were only performed with one fist...she found her opposite fist ready to counter his flat-palm strike, with one of her own, but in case she missed her Ki surged back into physical form around her hand, the blue mist, surging with tendrils of blue energy seething through the gas substance like electricity through clouds in a thunderstorm. No sooner as he yelled his Shocking Strike, she countered with the raising of her voice as a loud roar, the Ki surging to life, electricity surging around her palm before moving to trap his electricity in a web of her own. The louder her voice rose, the more of her Ki poured into the attack. She had wanted to avoid using her Ki in what appeared to be a more magic orientated way of combat, but she didn't seem to have much choice. If she continued with pouring her Ki forward, it would soon swallow his Shocking fist, before it connected with her stomach, and if he proceeded to move with his fist, he would find --
Devaine_Hawk stops as he passes Awyn on his way out . The little girl burns brighter than the noon day sun to his minds eye, and he grins . take care of Flash while I m away he laughs
Anwyn , lost in her own little world of warmth, light and the miasma of colours that her spirit sight gives seems to understand the world in her own little way, a nod, for even though tears and frustration pluck at her eyes as if a maestro playing a violin she does not go near the Arena, just skirts the walls, the vestiges of powers, death and blood that seeped into the very floor there was too much for her, home was safer, she had faith he would comes home, a friend like no other she had known, and strong. Fumbling as her thoughts disperse her vision a moment she fights for calm, stave implanted into the ground firmly, energy flaring to channel through it, to keep her on her feet, a true savant, all untrained and as wild as her hair.
Jaia-Asumoto -- her own flat palm to counter him. As her other fist would have forced him to release her leg, she would stand on it quickly enough to have been a blur, before kicking with her opposite leg for the side which he had left open to her attack, aiming for his side. It would not cause him much pain, but it would cause him to think twice and withdrew, before her Ki overwhelmed him beyond her own control. It appeared, as if it possessed her, when in truth she did possess it completely. She knew what she was doing, but her control over Ki was wanting...and Flash did not want to be on the receiving end of a full surge.
Anwyn looks to the man's shape, the shadows to her brightness, seeing in so many layers, just nodding after a few moments of cool consideration, glancing over him with a maturity beyond the cusp of womanhood she seemed to lurk on "He wvill be tackinck care of himselvf, Ai am beingk sure." Gentle, soft voiced despite the rumbling accent, before she stumbles on.
[Flash_Guardian ] Again two powerful blows collide like rolling thunder, the crackle-boom resounding around the entire arena as magic and ki collide ... yet Flash does not withdraw as he feels his energy being drained away. Rather, he reinforces it with more of his own, bearing all of his focus into the spell that remains charged upon his palm, hoping to match or possibly overwhelm Jaia's own Ki. His distant arm lays limp behind him as he is stretched out in the splits upon the wall, not truly able to move one way or the other. Such was the price of his attack, and he knew it. Jaia's kick does indeed strike him squarely in the chest, grunting as it lands, though the pain is nothing compared to that which he is feeling now in his useless arm. Flash simply grits his teeth and maintains his stern focus, channeling ever more magical power down his arm and through his hand to emerge as more and more powerful electricity. Indeed Flash is not unlike a battery himself in this regard ... though his powers are magical ...
[Flash_Guardian ] ... and very finite. Still, he hopes that pressing his spell will at least force Jaia to focus more intently upon containing his powers as the strength of his raw being assaults that web of Ki.
Natasel takes a seat in the stands and quietly observes the bloodbath whilst consuming candied apple slices.

Jaia-Asumoto did not at all split her concentration, or her focus as her mind easily focused on several places at once. One would not be half a decent warrior if they did not. Her Ki simply continued to absorb his magic, not taking offence to it, simply extinguishing it, as it poured from his being. However, the blue clouds and electricity continued to expand, encompassing his spell, preventing it's spreading as if it were a disease. Her voice continued to rise, booming across the Arena as it began to crawl over her opponent, not causing him any physical pain, but it did have a draining affect. Natasel heads on out, sensing that in the realm of Real Life, there be an Ultimate Fighting Re-run coming up.
Jaia-Asumoto -- how precious the groin was, more so to males than to females, if he did not cease his attacks and move, he would find himself being pounded mercilessly in the one place no guy would want to be struck. It was in Flash's hands...and the situation was getting grimmer, despite the power that surged and ebbed in her favour...so far, anyway.
Flash_Guardian seems to notice that Jaia's ki is able to overpower his magic no matter how much force he puts into it, even if it's all the strength and focus he can put into it. Instead, his efforts are withdrawn and redirected, hand moving back slightly before his legs push back together, swiftly bringing Flash back to his feet as a single powerful thrust is given against the flat palm that Jaia has been using to nullify his attack, pushing her back and away just as her other foot moves forward to strike ... indeed it's much harder to brace yourself against a direct shove with just one arm. And if his physical force isn't enough, Flash now brings his newly acquired mental force to bear, adding a little extra telekinesis to the shove. His right arm continues to hang lifeless at his side ...
[Flash_Guardian ] The force of the shove combined with Flash's standing should hopefully put enough distance between the pair so that Jaia's attacks fall short.
Yaksha appears in the middle of the arena, a black sillouette can be seen etching itself behind him mimicking his every movement before it catches up with his solid form merges with it, Dust whips up around him as it suddenly realises he had arrived at speed, a smile would then form across his black lips a she moved his silver orbs across the arena taking in everything , gently he raisesd a hand to brush his black locks from his pale face before moving slowly forward, his long red coat kicking up dust behind him, his heavy boots leaving deep imprints in the sand and muck in the pit.
Jaia-Asumoto was thrown back on the impact, and was sent back through the air, landing neatly on both feet, still balancing without any difficulty on the wall. She moved into a defensive stance, hands poised, right hand extended and left hand closer to her body both with flat palms. Her right foot was placed first and foremost on the wall top and her left foot behind her. For a Japanese female, she had excelled, and come out...as the minor victor of that initial attack. His arm was dead, where as she had sustained minimal injuries. She flipped her head back, ebony strands falling down her back. She wasn't breathing hard, and a slight sweat was breaking on her forehead. She remained relaxed, composed and in total control. But her eyes spoke otherwise, the cold blue orbs giving him a freezing glare of contempt as she simply stood, and stanced. She had made her offensive. If this were to continue, it had to be him...or they would be standing there for a while. She had made a lasting impression, now it was time to see if --
Jaia-Asumoto -- he could do the same. If he did not, she would take great pleasure in making sure it was the last thing he -didn't- do.
Flash_Guardian watches Jaia as she seems to withdraw, sparing him a moment for some reason. Perhaps to gaze once more into this hateful eyes which despised him so. All at once the pain of his injuries seems to catch up with him, or perhaps he is at last realizing how badly he has been hurt, looking back to his limp arm to see that it is indeed broken just below the elbow. A minor break, nothing too serious, but enough to disable the use of that arm. For now, he simply dares to look back into the icy depths of Jaia's eyes, her look paining him and yet he does so. "You said that I was not controlled," he shouts to all that would hear. "You said that my emotions were clouding me ... hampering me." Flash's words echo around the arena now, though his next are quieter, meant for Jaia alone. "You were right."
[Flash_Guardian ] "Since the founding of Redfang, I have wanted nothing more than to offer my strength to others, to be the pillar of support that you would have me be, Jaia. But during that time, I showed a weakness from something beyond my control. That time is past, and I have grown strong again. Stronger, perhaps." An almost admiring look crosses Flash's face. "As have you. But even the best of us show weakness at times ... I can remember even a time when you once did, Jaia, after the fall of your clan." Flash lets his words briefly die out as he brings himself back into a defensive posture, eyes focussing sternly upon Jaia. "Do you still doubt my strength? If so, say it now and I shall dispel all doubt."
Malina walks in she was wearing outfit B. she carries her blitzball with her. she looks around at the arena and sighs, her father/Guardian wasn't here
Jaia-Asumoto listened, without a word...waiting, watching for some...or any form of deception. She found none of the like, but stared at him without a change in her gaze, or stance. As he mentioned Asumoto, she felt her anger building, almost doubling...She tensed suddenly, looking as if she were going to attack for certain, and would not relent until he, or she were dead. Her arms began to visibly, shake before she looked away, lowering both arms...Her face calmed a little, but the undeniable look on her face, which confirmed that her jaw was indeed clenched. Despite the hatred of being reminded that Asumoto existed, he did indeed have a point. She looked at him and nodded once, but would do nothing else, which meant she was going to linger on that wall. She leapt down, sailing the lengths until she landed neatly onto the Arena's sandy surface. As soon as contact was made with the ground, she walked toward Ichijmond near the edge of the Arena itself. She picks it up, and slings it over her shoulder. She picks up her --
Jaia-Asumoto -- belt with the holstered Desert Eagles, and in turn, the ammunition belt and wraps it around her waist. She looks up at Flash, arms at her sides and simply stands there patiently waiting for him to come down. All without a single word.
Malina continues to look around the arena, she was just hoping her father was there
Omenis tilts her head a little brows knitting together in a frown her arm raised as her hand plam flat rested upon the entrance door to this place...her senses telling her what this place was...coursing her to shudder quickly dropping her amr to her side a pained look now upon her features
Flash_Guardian isn't wasting any time as he watches Jaia collect her things, no doubt preparing for an even stronger conflict. He stands there lightly, closing his eyes briefly and mustering his healing chi to his good hand, sensing the powerful injuries and bringing his hand to them, wincing slightly as his left hand touches the break, though the subtle white glow seems to suffuse the wounds. Abruptly, Flash strikes at his arm with a sudden chop, painful cries muffled through gritted teeth as he forces the bone back into place and allows the healing energy to complete its work, mending his arm and restoring its use. Jaia wishes to see his true strength, so why go in with anything less than full? As soon as it appears that Jaia is ready, Flash quickly whips his arms around his torso, quickly vanishing from sight to reappear not from behind, as so many seem to do, but at Jaia's side in a mere instant, leg lashing out sideways in a whirling snap kick to Jaia's arm. The test of might has begun.
Jaia-Asumoto for the first time in many years, her eyes went wide with surprise, but as his kick came toward her arm, she did not so much as move anything but her arm, which she brought up as a palm making it so tense that when his kick struck her arm, it would have felt like a brick wall. She relaxed her arm at that point and stepped back. So she had been deceived!? Frowning for a moment, she inclined her head, choosing not to counter attack. She found the time right to comment, "You may be correct in some points, but your tact is horrible. Its generally not a good idea, when someone appears to have let their guard down for no reason." She stepped back with one leg to face him side on, right arm tipped in his direction with her left arm behind her back. "If you wish to continue, by all means do. But on other accounts, you are forgiven."
Omenis opulent eyes rest upon the door as she stares at it....unsure what she should do..this place.....another shudder running through her as she close her eyes......this place was filled with pain ....pain given to others leading to hurt....her head droped a little
Gorwyn approached the stone passage slowly, carefully striding along with his helm tucked under his arm. in the middle distance he could see the silhouette of another, her head drooping for some reason and he gave a slight sigh. quickly he replaced his helm, setting it firmly upon his head and as he approached Omenis he coughed lightly, clearing his throat.
Alweih made his way through a side door of the arena, muffling the latch with his hand to reduce the sharp report as the mechanism fell into place behind him. Treading his way gently, even serenely amongst the stands the figure at last drifted to the edge of the pit, swart arms folding themselves upon the iron rail encircling it. Midnight occulars peered down at those manoeuvring themselves about below, disfigured face giving little clue as to his feelings regarding the ensuing contest. Gripped in one hand was his sword, still within its scabbard, the straps of the swordbelt wrapped loosely about the hilt.
Flash_Guardian stumbles back slightly from the impact, already coming around and down with a hand to block whatever retaliation he was expecting ... but when there is none, he seems slightly puzzled, instead looking back to Jaia and blinking as he listens to her explain. His gaze sinks now, and he feels rather foolish, his gaze dropping back to the dirt as he tries his best to maintain his dignity. Through it all, though, a slight smile crosses his lips. At length, he straightens into the rigid stance of formal respect, hands at his sides as he bows to Jaia. "Sumimasen, Jaia-san. I am sorry. I mistook your move to the center of the arena and gathering your weapons as you wanting to test me with your full might. If I now seem any better in your eyes, than there is no need to continue." At last Flash straightens. Though he may have Jaia's forgiveness, he lacks his own, haunting guilt still showing in his eyes to one who looks, though he does an otherwise masterful job of concealing his emotions.
[Alakxarann ] A dark shadowed outline appears, attempting to be unnoticed, but more along the lines of watching people maul themselves. The figure grew a bit closer to a set of benches as delecatly he would hover inches above them, not sitting in them for some reason. The figure was dressed in horrific looking clothes, a deep dark crimson tunic, with a slight mix of black consisting of many signs as in many tears and holes along its fringes. Each stich bore the word 'death' and each inch of fabric contained the blood of the souls that this one warrior once slain. A pair of baggy pants were wrapped tightly around his body with a black leather belt with small slits and cuts through its shiny surface. A large heavy-looking mask adorned his face, covering it mostlikely to hide his identity. Silver eyes peered out of the mask eye-slits watching what was happening as they tick each to one side, like the wieght of a clock. This figure put horror inside many minds he wished to appear feared. Delecatly like dark settles -C-
Omenis head turns slowly eyes opening as it does.....resting upon the figure standing before her....her own hands coming to rest lightly in front of her upon the robe.....her voice soft as it speaks but a single word..." Hello".....stepping aside to lend him easy access to this place of death
[Alakxarann ] -C- Delecatly like the dark settles as the sun sets, a shadow swarms around him and engulfs him slowly adding to this figures eeriness...
Gorwyn raised both arms to his sides and bowed deeply to the woman as she spoke before rising slowly and smiling beneath the cover of his helm , he watched as she stepped to one side and this troubled him but he was unsure why. he coughed again lightly "My lady..." he offered ".... you seem troubled.. is there aught I may do.. to perhaps assist?" he watched her, waiting patiently for a reply.
Kinarra trudged into the arena holding her spear over her back with the help of the strap she had made for it. Her silver locks hung over her shoulders and flowed down her back gently while swaying with each burdened step. She finally collapsed against a wall of the arena and panted for breath. Now what would she do? She had lost the pack and the man she thought she loved....for he loved another.
Jaia-Asumoto nods slowly and then steps out of her stance. This fight was over, at least for the time being. It appeared to have no victor, as the fight itself had concluded without the other being completely battered into a pulp, which is what would have happened had he not apologised, "At the time of your 'absence' of mind, I failed to remember that no matter what we do, emotion will govern a small part of us no matter how controlled we are. It is useless to call us emotionless, because it is simply a lie." she stood normally now, the leather jumpsuit matching the colour of her hair in its complete darkness. It seemed that in no time, they had changed from fierce enemies back to close friends again. Her blue eyes faded, her Ki's control over her actions fading as her brown orbs looked up and down. She smiled warmly and shook her head, before walking over to her and tapping his shoulder with a gorgeously wide grin, "Now...no guilt, you here? If you have to feel it make it brief. Anyway...Am I permitted to go --
Jaia-Asumoto -- home? To Redfang?" she had referred to Redfang as home for a moment. Although that wasn't the case physically, the saying so well said over time could be applied well now, 'Home is where the Heart is." It was true for her too.
Alweih allowed only the most dismissive of grunts as he turned away from the two combatants, sucking his ashen grey tongue to the side of his mouth in thought. The ebon-bodied creature strode a little way back to the seats, climbing a few steps until settling down where he saw fit. Sword rested upon his muscular thighs the Night Elf hesitated for barely a moment before slipping the gleaming length of steel from its leather shelter, hefting it in one gauntlet-clad hand to level with his shining, beetle-like eyes. A small strip of whetstone was produced from his clothing, and before long the slow, grey scraping of sharpened steel mingled with the maelstrom of noises occupying the arena's confines.
Omenis shakes her head a little.....in truth not knowing if there was anything he could do...if indeed he wished to enter..but this place was not for her...." No.....I dont think so..."
Gorwyn nodded slowly, the helm clanking slightly against the buckle on his gorget "... then I will leave you be.. if that is yoru wish?" he seemed earnest in his request before and now his voice took on a slightly disheartened tone "..i bid you have a pleasant day"
Flash_Guardian 's wandering eye now lights upon other figures in the Arena now that the battle would seem to be concluded. Most notably he looks to Omenis, smiling to her. But at Jaia's words, his expression melts into one of utter joy, smiling happily at her. "You have always been welcome on Redfang, Jaia, so long as you would wish it." Would it not look particular out of place, Flash would likely leap forward and embrace Jaia in his glee ... and as he thinks about it, maybe it is not so inappropriate after all. Bowing and handshakes only go so far, after all. Flash slowly steps forward, arms wide to embrace Jaia warmly with a smile if she would allow it. If not, no harm done ... those arms would find their place back at Flash's side just as easily.
Omenis brows knit softly.....she could sense a difference in his tune of voice and could not understand the change...nor the course of such....she shook her head once more ...she had soo much to learn and yet.....after yesterday........" I too wish you a pleasant day....one of no hurting...".
Gorwyn had begun to turn, to leave this place of clamouring and noise, but her words caught at him "... a day of no hurting?" he looked , or should i say would look slightly nonplussed if he were not wearing the helm. "... you phrase it... i find it most confusing" he turned to face her again, one hand rising to reach under his helm and scratch at the stubble on his chin
Jaia-Asumoto taken by surprise, she could not help it, finding herself as informal as he was. She accepted his embrace with open arms, placing her head on his shoulder, as despite being tall for a female of Japan, she was still much shorter than he was. "Good...I've missed home." Size aside, she was very strong and her enthusiasm made that much clear when she hugged him in all good intentions. She smiled softly, and looked up at him with the warmest look she had ever given him, "What about you? How is your arm?" She had not noticed the fact that it may still be feeling a little odd, despite the precautions he had made.
Omenis glances towards the entrance of the arena back to the male...perhaps she was wrong she had thought he was here to fight......to course pain to others.....swallowing softly " I am sorry......I do not mean to.....confuse" she tilts her head a little as she watches his actions
[Cloud_Makyura ] Email me at ShadowsoftheDarkPhoenix@yahoo.ca
Gorwyn nodded slightly "perhaps it is just me... i find this place most perplexing..." he began to fiddle with a strap under his chin "...then again I find much of this place... it's customs confusing" finally he managed to unhook the buckle and the helm slowly came off. he shook his head, causing his hair to fall around his head nefore a single gloved hand swept ot from his face. he smiled softly before tugging off a gauntlet and tucking it into the helm and offering the hand to Omenis
[Heyuka_Seisioko ] looks around and sighs alittle...... ponders of what he should do looks around and heads over to the forest then looks over to Omenis and wonders if she was tlaking to him or someone else and sits under the tree and looks around again then closes his eyes and bows his head

Flash_Guardian nods to Jaia as he breaks from the embrace, though the smile never leaving his face. "Sore as all hell," he states calmly. "Probably will be until tomorrow afternoon or so. Chi energy only goes so far in the hands of a novice healer." Flash rubs at his chest, wincing slightly. "Here, too. You hit like a elder dragon's tail," he compliments the woman appreciatively. At length, though, Flash's smile dims just a little and a more serious look overtakes him. "Hey, listen ... if there's anything else you ever need from me in the future ... you or your fox-tailed lady-friend," he says not really knowing what to call Ishara for lack of her name, "don't hesitate to ask. And don't go telling me that being able to stay at Redfang is enough, as that's a liberty free and open to all." Flash raises an eyebrow at her, grinning. A sidelong glance is given in Omenis's direction, perhaps to see if she's still there.
Zero slowly enters the arena, full scan mode. He's already been here before, but maybe there is another fight that is going on, like last time. At anyrate, he sits among the stands of the arena and watches.
Omenis blinks....opulent eyes dropping to the offered hand......what was she supposed to do with it....eyes rising to look back at him...this was....unusal...smiling " You are new to these...lands...?" yes this was land..it was a world she knew this because Flash had told her.....the smile was to reassure him knowing herself how easily it is to feel lost
[Heyuka_Seisioko ] opens his eeys and glances over to Zero and chuckles a little then looks over to Flash and then smirks and says " i wonder if jake would like this site there sure is some good fighters in here "
[Heyuka_Seisioko ] * eyes
Gorwyn glanced nervousley at her though he tried his best to conceal it he coughed again lightly "You are supposed to shake it.." he said moving his hand a little "... my name is Gorwyn...and it is indeed a pleasure to make your caresvis " he seemed to look a little thoughtful before speaking again "..I mean.. acquaintance" he smiled again
Omenis hand reaches out as slender fingers curl around the form of his own....moving it up and down once persuming that would be classed as a shake.....head tilted as she hears his words. " Acquaintance?...." that soft smile broadening a little more
Zero crossed his arms across his chest plate armor and silently watched like a statue.....nothing much to do really. Power is reading above average, Zan'ei Crystal is stable, Systems are online, yet he feels hes not in perfect condition yet....
Gorwyn 's smile broadened and he gently mimicked the motion ".. indeed. " he relaxed his grip and let his hand fall away from hers ," so i would assume this is a place of sorcerors... " he said indicating those fighting and the odd techniques they used "..inmy lands such things would not be permitted"
Omenis head turns as the smile instantly drops......" what are sourcers?" her gaze fixed now on Flash for the first time......a slight shudder running through her as she visually checks from her standing point if he had been pained...
[Heyuka_Seisioko ] rolls his eyes and looks around more this being his first time being on this site and in the chat room and just scans the room with his hazel eyes as a gentle breeze comes and his hair swistles in the the breeze and trees rackle fomr the leaves brushing together
[Heyuka_Seisioko ] * from
Zero just sits there, actually....he was looking at past recordings of battles he had previously seen. Just watching them until something new comes into the arena.
[Heyuka_Seisioko ] looks over to zero " if it takes that long to post a battle scene then i would woop everyone in this room right now hey i got a question for you Zero "
Flash_Guardian gives one last look to Jaia and another respectful nod before taking his leave of her, walking now in the direction of Omenis and her new companion who appears to be drawing the majority of his attention, more so than any of the others nearby. He smiles to the young woman in blue happily, waving cheerfully in greeting to her. "Hello again," he greets her before turning to the other gentleman standing next to her and nodding to him politely. "Sir."
[Nickola ] walks in, her green eyes looking around as she pushes back some dark hair behind her elven ears. Its her first time here, but she does not wish to fight, just merely spectate*
Zero ignores the man.....just simply ignores the man.
[Heyuka_Seisioko ] who me ?
[Nickola ] smiles to the man greeting her, and bows her head lightly. "hello."*
Omenis opulent eyes lock on Flash as he approaches ......her brows kntting as she senses his injuries besides seeing them plainly....a sharp intake of breath at knowing he had been pained....and thus......hurt....and her eyes looked sadly at him....yet too was laced with concern...." you are pained?"
[Heyuka_Seisioko ] bows his head lightly grinning and says " hello nice to meet you "
Gorwyn 's sile wavered for barely a second he turned seeing the newcomer approach , seemingly he knew Omenis , he stretched out a hand again offering it to Flash after quickly nudging the helm under his arm again "Well met "
Flash_Guardian seems rather surprised, yet again amazed by Omenis's perceptions. He glances down to his arm briefly before looking back to Omenis. "I ... got hit a couple times just now, yes. But I patched myself up already. Nothing left but sore bruises, and those will heal." He grins to Omenis, doing his best to hide the pain from the fight.
Zero continues to watch the video recordings of past battles, watching the reaction time of humans...studying them...
Nickola sits herself down, feeling slightly overwhelmed
[Heyuka_Seisioko ] ok sorry well i need to go to swchool but ill be on later and ill take a look at the rules and everything ok ill ttyl
Omenis tilts her head wondering why the female Jaia would want to pain Flash....blinking .....thankful his pain would heal....though she did not see him leaking this liquid called blood....a hand rising as her fingers reach to touch his brusises lightly.....unsure what they are...and why his skin seemed to be a different colour.....head turning slightly as she looks at Gorwyn he seemed not to find this colouring and such odd
Zero continues where he left off. >.>
Gorwyn glanced quickly between the two of them before pulling his hand back, perhaps twas not their custom to shake hands upon metting, he clutched his helm and smiled again "..woudl seem you have... taken quite a hit my lord?" he enquired to Flash. he had noticed the discolouring
Flash_Guardian happily takes Gorwyn's hand and gives it a pair of good shakes in right proper fashion. "Oh, don't worry about me. I've been through worse. Oow!" Flash's arm is withdrawn slightly as his bruise is touched gently, looking back to Omenis swiftly. Seeing the curious expression on her face, though, he cannot help but smile and offer the arm for her to inspect. "Careful, Omenis ... the wounds are still a little tender."
Omenis nods looking back down at his bruised arm......" why is it like this.....you have not leaked.....such strange colouring..."
Zero stood up from his seat and let his arms rest at his sides. He seemed to be moving again, atleast done watching the battles he recorded. He starts to just walk around the arena, maybe someone will spot him and ask him for a battle...heh...funny because many don't. Humans don't see Robots or Cyborgs as a 'Challenge'......too bad, because he is more than a challenge.....he is impossible to gauge even with the naked eye.
Flash_Guardian shrugs just a little, offering an answer that probably isn't too far from the truth. "Bruises are wounds of a less damaging kind ... they tell us that our body is working harder to heal itself there, and that our body isn't very happy with us." He adds a chuckle to the end of that, trying to keep the issue light. "They're a fairly common injury, and are much easier to handle than cuts or worse." A curious look is give to the warrior now. "Surely you've had your fair share of bruises in your own time?"
Omenis side glances to Gorwyn......why was he calling her a lady....she was a woman...a female.....head tilted as she listens to Flash.....then the leaking she had caursed yesterday was a great pain....a great hurt to the male.....she sighs softly the news not pleasing her at all...
Gorwyn nodded sagely "indeed... but ..." he faltered slightly as if trying to remember something "... contutalas as I have known them were not often that colour" he regarded the bruises avidly, he glanced sidewards at Omenis, she seemed troubled and it pleased him little.
Flash_Guardian shrugs, still managing a light-hearted look. "When you fight exotic people, you get exotic wounds." Flash too seems to notice the girl's discontent, frowning slightly. He can only guess that she is troubled over his wounds. He offers her a reassuring smile. "Hey, don't worry about me, alright? Like I've said, I've been through far worse than a few bruises." Flash screws up his face in a strange sort of exhausted wince. "Much worse ..." He shakes his head free of such memories, looking back to the young woman. "Anyway, give me a day or two and I'll be fine. Trust me."
Zero happen to look in the direction of Flash and crew....he stares at them for a minute or two before actually starting to walk in their direction.
Omenis blinks looking up at Flash......was he asking her to trust him......did he doubt that she did....." What.......what would happen if you.....leaked....?" closing her eyes momentrily as she rememebers yesterday....though when she opens them she looks at Gormwyn unsure what he was doing.....she was sensing some very strange changes in him
Gorwyn gave a short breath before his eyes raised to see yet another figure walking casually toward them, his smiled widened a little again, yet another to perhaps greet he thought. it was turning out to be a good day. He turned to Omenis "... so.. perhaps one of you may inform me as to what this place is called... " he glance at the arena in general
Flash_Guardian catches sight of movement now out of the corner of his eye, turning to look at Zero as he approaches. Flash looks the robot up and down appraisingly, then grins approvingly. "Nice suit." To Gorwyn, Flash offers what little explanation he can. "You stand outside the arena. If it has any kind of name, nobody has bothered to tell me yet. But it seems to be a popular gathering place for strong warriors to test their skills against others." And finally, he addresses Omenis, eyebrows frowning at her. "Leaked?" An unusual term for bleeding, yet it works, he thinks. "If I were to leak, I would leak blood. Most would call that bleeding , and it's generally not a good thing. Blood keeps us alive."
Gorwyn nodded "indeed. for if too much of your vitalis is removed you will fade" he sighed again and his smile finally passed from view as he reached up and rubbed his chin once more. something didnt feel right here "arena..." he tasted the word and made a generic mumble
Zero " Titanium-X lightweight alloy, 10 times stronger than steel. " He'd look at Gorwyn, then Omenis.
Omenis lets her hands drop from his.....most surely the one whose fingers had inspected Flash's brusies.....her mind had been on her task that she had not noticed the approach of another til the others addressed the person....turning to look at the male....as she nods and smiles...." Hello"
Flash_Guardian looks very impressed as he looks at Zero, nodding appreciatively and wishing his own skin was ten times stronger than steel ... as it is, he's bruised and sore and rather feels like a quick dip in the ocean followed by a long nap. "I think I'm gonna head home to Redfang," he says aloud to nobody in particular, chuckling happily, "and lick my wounds." He gives one final look of concern to Omenis. "Are you going to be okay out here?"
Zero nods. " ...Redfang......Do you mean 'Redfang Island?' The one with the Dojo on it...? "
Flash_Guardian nods to Zero, pleased. "The one and only."
Gorwyn glanced silently from one to the other , his gaze passing over the automaton and finally resting on Omenis, he gave yet another sigh but remained silent. Listening to what they had to say
Omenis looks between the two males.....well three now........she needed to know about this leaking....more so " would.....can I......" sighing softly....
Zero nodded and crossed his arms. " A strange man around the age of 15 was mentionig that island a couple of times...he was wearing some purple armor and had a...wyvern on his shoulder. "
Flash_Guardian frowns, rubbing at his chin with a pair of fingers. "Purple? And a wyvern you say? Doesn't sound like anybody I typically keep company with ... might have been one of the guests to the island." He chuckles, shaking his head. "Indeed, there are so many sometimes that it can be hard to keep track of." Flash blinks suddenly, thinking about it. "Come to think of it, did he happen to have a spear or lance on his person?" Catching Omenis's words, he tries to encourage the words from her. "Can you what?"
Omenis shakes her head lightly her gaze going from Flash to Zero.....clearly this was where Flash's interest lay......." I will be fine....could...could we talk soon...I need to ask you things..."
Zero nodded. " Yes...He had a strange looking lance on his back. "
Flash_Guardian nods eagerly to Omenis. "Of course," he tells her. "You know where to find me." Flash grins back at Zero now, nodding. "Yes, I do remember the kid, very briefly. He's quite good with that spear. He's a lancer, if I'm right. Dragoon, some call them." Flash waves a hand at the issue, clearly showing his weariness. "Anyway, I should be heading back home." A glance and polite nod is given to Zero and Gorwyn. "Nice meeting you both. If you ever make your way out to Redfang dojo, just ask for Flash. Ask any of the commoners where the island is located, and they'll tell you. It's not hard to find." A yawn and a stretch follows, yet still the same grin on his face. It had been a good day.
Gorwyn bowed lightly toward flash "indeed my lord... thank you for your time" he smiled again as he stood up, readjusting his tunic whichhad ridden up and now crumpled around his neck
Zero nodded some and started to walk off.
Flash_Guardian begins the trek home, choosing to foot it rather than simply teleport back for one reason or another. One final wave is given to the others before he turns back to the trail before him, leaving the arena grounds.
