Flash_Guardian deliberately makes his way down the halls of the eastern wing of the dojo, dressed in his usual and carrying a small wooden tray bearing simple food ... bread, cheese and water. As well as one or two of the star fruits that Blue had found growing upon the island. One would call it a rare delicacy, but they seem to be in quite abundance here. Even during winter, as Flash made sure to pick a few and store them for later. If carefully rationed, they should last until spring. Flash must feel that something or someone is worthy of the fruit at the moment as he steers himself about, winding his way to the door of one of the classrooms. He has to fidget just a bit to turn the doorknob, careful not to spill the tray as he opens it and steps through, eyes quickly making their way to the girl who had practically washed ashore so many days ago, smiling.
[ChuKeLiang ] Whether anybody had taken much notice or not, a young scholar dressed in a vibrant green ceremonial robe had been keeping close to this area for the last couple of days. It was not his intention to spy, nor to simply wait and watch as one could have assumed from the way he watched the dojo. More over, the philosopher was just observing the area and attuning himself with the flow of the island itself, sitting on the edge of the clearing with nothing but a ceramic tea set and a mass of scroll unrolled and all over the ground. These things were enough to satisfy his simple desires: A cup of green tea, the serenity of the forest, his master's writing to regail himself with. All of it was more than enough to keep him occupied until he thought it necessary make any further introduction to the Dojo's keeper and his companions.
Anwyn 's still in a slumber, brusing slowly fading away to leave perfectly pale skin, the young woman barely having moved since being carried here by a rather unamused Cladius. Flash's entrace sparking the large, scrawny ghost grey tabby from his slumber curled at his mistresses feet, hissing at the man with his usual displeasure at life, and disturbance.
Flash_Guardian glances down at the overprotective cat, so stalwartly protecting its master, and smiles happily. He shuffles just a bit closer, having just the right solution to the situation. There is a language as old as time, birthed at the beginning of the cosmos itself. Only the most enlightened ever learn to speak this language, though it is common to all, woven into the very threads of the weave of all life. It is using these words that Flash now speaks gently to the cat, making his offer. "I come with food for your friend. You can have some, too." Flash takes just a step or two closer, not wanting to seem too forward as he lets the cat decide.
Anwyn 's cat mewls, a plaintive mix of understanding, lonliness and concern for his still Mistress, soon wrapping himself around Flash's legs in a blur of silver and grey, purring at the friendly man, though it wasn't much to know he'd change attitudes at any wrong move, the cat a fair size and it had taken this long for any sign of trust, several people victim of the beasts claws. For her part, the fiery maned young woman breathes with a soft regularity, Sleeping Beauty by any other name.
[ChuKeLiang ] The porcelain cup so carefully positioned in both hands was lowered from the student's lips with a bried sigh of satisfaction and a smile to match, a slight breeze carrying over his tuffet that caused his bells to ring and his hair to dance. The yellowed parchment sprawled all over the ground had been weighted with jade seals and stamps of all different kinds to keep it from escaping him. The young scholar couldn't help but feeling slightly dissapointed as he set his cup back upon the soil and looked toward the dojo, his slender, soft hands finding their way back into the deep folds of his robes as a small frown overtook that smile he so proudly wore earlier. It wasn't that he dissaproved of the place, but more to the fact that it needed a little more style and adornment to do it the justice he thought it deserved. His small frame loosened a little bit as he let his gaze roam back to his teachings, the papers still fluttering to get away.
[ChuKeLiang ] *brief
Flash_Guardian carefully makes his way to Anwyn's side now, mindful of the cat's rubbing, and kneeling next to her and setting the tray down upon the floor beside her with a soft tap. Now that his hands are free, he reaches out to give the cat a friendly pet or two along its head before reaching to the tray. Fortunately, Flash also remembered to grab a few strands of that beef jerky he is so fond of. He quickly snatches a piece of jerky and a piece of bread from the tray, holding them out to the cat in offering, knowing it would choose whichever one it liked better.
Anwyn 's cat sniffs each in turn, chosing the jerky with a lightening snatch of his jaws, the large beast was scrawny and had obviously known hunger from the way he guards the jerky while chewing, backing away from the man to cful at his misstress's side, wide amber eyes distrustful of a man bering gifts, but willing to tolerate his presence.
Flash_Guardian chuckles in a non-surprised way, glancing now to the mistress spread out over a bedroll beside him, fast asleep. Indeed, she had been sleeping here for far longer than Flash cared to tell. It's never a good thing, sleeping for too long. Flash knows by experience. Tentatively, he reaches out a hand to tap at her shoulder. "Miss?" he calls to her softly, waiting to see if she will awaken.
[ChuKeLiang ] The winds were restless, pushing and prodding him to move away from his position upon the hill towards something else. Chu wouldn't argue with nature's suggestion, finding that he had plently of time to contemplate things for what he wished to do ahead. Now was a time to act, a time to make those plans come to life by acting in accordance with those ideas he had so carefully thought out. What else would be more appropriate than that? The scholar could think of nothing more so. Carefully moving his delicate fingers beneath the tattered edges of his scrolls, he carefully placed each weight aside and rolled them up accordingly before placing them in his woven shoulder pack. It was starting to get chilly, maybe even a little cold. Chu wanted in no way to fall ill and be tied to bed, having and wanting too many things he needed to do. After everything was packed up and set in proper order, the boy rose from his seat and looked toward the dojo with his two viridescent eyes as he walked forth.
Anwyn 's cat moves his head to watch the man, distrustful to say the best, a little warning hiss at the touch, but not moving further, just watching the man and his actions with the overbaring protectiveness of a father guarding kittens. The tap on the shoulder, well her skin is warm beneath the thin linen of her tunic, but there's no physical response, the air though, for those sensitive piques, little feelers of psyonic consciousness starting to wake, creeping out like the strands of a spiders web.
Flash_Guardian frowns at first upon seeing no response from the woman, and is about to consider waking her in a slightly different manner when he suddenly feels a change. Though the woman does not stir physically, he has the notion that she is, at some level, waking. Flash sits there a moment studying the woman, as if trying to decide if what he's sensing isn't just some trick ... after all, Flash has only just begun to tap into the latent powers of his own mind, being quite the novice psionic himself.
Anwyn 's little web of consciousness seems to grow by the moment, tenuous little chains that quiver and move in the slight brreze of the room, energy travelling both ways in little shivers of the intangible flows. The grey cat for his part purring as the webs surround him, as familar as a stroke it seems. Still though she makes no move, no change in her breathing, no flicker of her eyes, the youngster whose still showing signs of her beating still just, well, still
[ChuKeLiang ] The soft sound of the boy's padded slippers against the soft soil of the earth would leave his approach to be almost as silent as the wind that had urged him to move in this direction, not taking any effort to keep himself hidden or draw attention to himself. That really didn't matter much to him for the moment, nor did it really matter to him at all whether he would be seen or not. The master of the dojo had welcomed him once into the santity of his training grounds already, so perhaps another visit wouldn't be uncalled for. Moving to the first steps of this grand building, dedicated to the noble idea of learning and education, the priest halted his steps and deeply bowed forward to offer his respects. His deep blue hair hid his boyish feature for only a moment as he hunched, his face revealing itself once more as he rose. With that, he took a step inside and started towards the eastern side of the dojo. He had not planned it that way, but he felt that the proper place to go. The flow of things demanded it.
Flash_Guardian is certain about what his third eye is telling him after a moment, grinning and slightly surprised. At this, he decides to take a slightly different approach, scooting around to place his legs underneath him, seated cross-legged and facing the woman. Casually, he rests his arms upon his legs, palms up, head bowed, and eyes closed. A steadying breath is taken, let out ever so slowly as Flash's mind relaxes, steadies ... empties ... and then begins to reach out, to feel what it may feel, see what it may see, a single thought pervading his consciousness, much like that of a hand extended in greeting.
Anwyn 's webs become as visible as the northen lights in a dark sky, every shifting rainbows of consciousness, little strands that seem to be acting like probosci, feeling out the room inch by inch, mapping it. The man himself becoming slowly entangled by the warm flows of her mind web, nothing threatening to the unconscious act, just a way of seeing. The cat purrs on as Flash starts to focus, slowly, like a mist rising from a valley she can be seen in his third sight, alert and conscious, seeming to be sat above herself in spirit, connected by the web to everything in the room, wide eyes blinking, three of them directly at Flash, taking him in with obvious surprise, she had not expected to see another in spirit.
Flash_Guardian at last finds the young woman, or at least the young woman's spirit, smiling happily and laughing just a little at her surprise. His unusual approach seems to have worked. He tries to give the girl a truly accurate mental picture of himself for her benefit, smiling happily at her. And then, his voice would echo along the mental strands to reach her, calm and warm. "Good afternoon."
Anwyn 's head quirks, all three eyes blinking as the webs linked to them, and her fingertips seem to shiver with his words, a shudder that carries through her whole frame, shrouded in simple robes of white, leaving only vivid eyes, and flaming hair for colour, save the rainbows that trickled and flowed about her. At first, words don't seem to flow, though lips now have strands sewn to them, as if she was a child trying to take first steps, sill so new and vulnerable to her sense, everything to bright, the man himself nearly blinding her new eyes. "H-hello...." Echoing the whisper as loud as a tannoy.
[ChuKeLiang ] As if a man in the wilderness with a compass to guide him, a boy roamed along the halls with careful thought as to which direction he were heading. It almost felt as if he traveled through water, the chi that moved through the many hallways of this place flowing into and around him depending on how easy the path was. It was difficult to move around some of the corners of the halls, a abrupt halt in the flow in order to turn to the next direction. That difficulty clearly showed in his shuffling and in the slightly strained expression on his face, pushing his way through the bundled up mass of trapped spirit energy before continuing on with a relieved sigh that he were finally passed it. A note to make for later, the thought recorded for another day. Maybe they could hear him as he moved forth into the eastern wing, however unlikely that would be since they were either focused, out of it, and how softly he carried himself. That was of no matter.
Flash_Guardian has his unprotected senses assaulted by the sheer volume of the woman's mentally projected reply, wincing where he sits out in reality, withdrawing the connection just a tad bit on instinct as one would recoil from a blow, rubbing his mental 'ears' as it were. "Ohhh, wow! Owww ..." After a moment, though, he manages to steady himself once more, doing his best to place a sort of mental buffer inbetween the pair in case anything like that happened again. Like it or not, Flash is simply too curious to walk away from this strange girl and the mystery she presents. For now, he chooses to take things slow, both for his benefit and the girl's. "My name is Flash."
Anwyn is obviously confused by her own powers, as vulnerable as a child, so open to the sensory overload the man bestowed, first wobbling steps into the realms of this new world, a world that now had other people in it. She has no buffer, no holds barred from the miasma of webs that now cascade about the room, sonar for the third eye, as now her form was becoming sharper, the usual two were clouded, seemingly looking at him, but not focused... Her voice, trying for it again, the webs shivering with the effort of speech, but it is softer, more human, clinging to the connection he tries to withdraw as a child clinging to a comfort blanket long sort "Anwyn..." Her name, one could guess, an accent starting to peek into her tone, harsh over the softness, Eastern European sounding.
Omenis leads Drake over the earth bridge that connects the main with the island....glancing over her shoulder a lot to make sure he is following and okay...not wishing him to fall into the mud.....upon reaching the end of the bridge she turns off following her usual path through the forest towards the dojo..and steps out into the clearing where the structure is opulent eyes looking about quickly for Flash
[ChuKeLiang ] The way the room was still unfurnished, bedrolls and boxes still about the floor and the most of the place, brought a slightly dissapointed frown over his cherub like face. It couldn't have possibly been that he had been misled? Perhaps the elements decieved him this time? No, that were not possible nor even in the lightest sense plausible to even think. This was the quarter of wood, the eastern section of the dojo. Perhaps this place had not fully blossomed into its full potential yet, much like a flower that had not come into bloom. What else was there to do but wait? Setting down his woven shoulder bag upon one of the bedrolls, he seated himself crossed legged and closed his eyes, still trying his best to become accustomed to the layout of the land. It was flat, maybe a little irregular as you went further from the dojo, the building itself forming maybe a sort of squarish if not oblong shape. He would have to wait until he was certain before he made any assumptions. Geomancy was one of his studies.
Drakenmore.Katsumi follows somewhat lost...okay not somewhat, completely, but keeps up easily with Omenis. He though, takes in all of the scenery.
Flash_Guardian is beginning to understand a bit more what is happening here ... where he is completely at ease with his own mind and its potential, this woman is awkward and rather clumsy. In truth, they share the same lack of experience using such mental tricks ... however Flash, at least, has experienced many situations similar to this and frankly finds himself more at ease. Be that as it may, he is still unsure how best to proceed as the girl seems to cling to his own consciousness. Flash's mind reaches back, offering her its strength, its firmness and focus to help steady her a bit. 'Whoaah, easy there ... it's nice to meet you, Anwyn.'
Omenis smiles she had not hurried to the dojo with such haste as this before and even as she stepped into the clearing she could not help but look to see if Drake was indeed there still..opulent eyes still looking about as she steps futher into the area perhpas calling his name would show her where he is her head turning and nodding with a bright smile if she is able to see anyone about
Drakenmore.Katsumi follows still and when she stops, standw there watching everything closely.
Flash_Guardian thinks he hears, on the borders of his real senses, his name being called by a woman ... almost dreamlike. And yet he would prefer not to shout and create a ruckus that might wake the other young woman asleep on the bedroll beside him ... indeed, he is seated with Anwyn in the eastern wing of the modestly large dojo. Instead, Flash does something that he has never done unassisted before ... reaches out with his own mind, searching for the one who is calling him to touch her mind and speak with her. 'I am in the east wing with a guest ... you may come in, but please do so quietly.' Flash hopes his telepathic message finds its way ... though in truth his words may have been heard by Omenis, Anwyn, or even Drakenmore himself.
Anwyn is still as confused as ever, the mental web of her own creation growing, twisting, knotting. Unaware of the others, too much focused on the brightness of the man she had found in her sights, spirit face as vulnerable as her stumbling mental steps would show, pale face drawn from the tension of trying to find words. Even her body, sleeping still as it seemed to be showed signs of her confusion, cat resting on her chest adrift to the turbulant seas of her breathing. Trying to let go, to release the web, to understand the senses spirit was feeding her. The disconnection of Flash as he reaches for another jolting her away, the bright, rainbow spirit of the child jolted down, falling back into her body to drown once more in flesh. Web shivering to recoil, a fishing line that had lost the catch of the day.
Flash_Guardian reaches his mind back to the young woman's, but finds their connection seems to be fading. Again, Flash reaches out to steady the young woman, to try and hold onto whatever connection is still there and allow her to make her own choice, whether to continue the conversation across the borders of the mental or the physical.
Anwyn 's connection is fading, Flash trying to grab at straws of rainbow mist that break to the touch, the young woman breathing hard now as she tries to make sense of the sudden fall into herself. The jolt of the disconnection and the subsequent beating of her heart, swimming of her head, pain remembered in her joints. The body so odd a place to be reined after freedom, blindness surrounding her as eyes open, no webs to guide her for the moment, only the memory of the room trapped somewhere in her consciousness "Fvlash? You are still 'zere?" Almost pleading from dry, cracking lips.
Flash_Guardian feels the woman's psyche is gone from his mind now, sensing only her presence nearby and little else. He lets out a wistful sigh, slowly letting his eyes drift open to look down upon the woman. "Yes, I am here," he says aloud, voice gentle amidst the quiet room. As he looks down into her eyes, he can see that something isn't quite right about them ... they don't seem to focus on anything directly, just drifting about aimlessly. Flash recognizes this, quickly reaching out a hand for the woman's own, fingertips lightly making contact. "I haven't left you. You aren't alone."
Anwyn 's fingertips still carry the nebulous remains of the rainbow web, little bold strands leaking to surround his hand as her small fingers, still showing signs of badly healed breaks takes hold of his, spirit and body at once, her power seemed only to work at its own will, not of her volition, the combined feeling of spirit and body fingers warm and tingling against his palm. Eyes, so vivid a green as to be emeralds in her face, bright and alert, but the clouded covering of her pupils spoke more than any lack of focus could. "I can still fveel you are zare..witzhin the eyes zat see nothzin..." Accent so much stronger with her fear, barely an adult, that so obvious, and such an enigma, even now those little webs reach for him, to anchor herself to her port in this storm, so strong a power to be held by so scared, small a girl.
Flash_Guardian glances down to see the rainbow strands just as he feels them, surprised and slightly in awe. It felt somewhat familiar, actually ... much like his own spirit energy when he reaches out to another to heal them. But that was a technique that Flash only mastered after years of training, inner searching and meditation. This woman ... well, she was far too unsteady to be any sort of master of the exotic arts, that was for certain. Even the way her spirit flowed at this moment was erratic and unstable. Flash carefully takes the woman's hand, lifting it into his lap and placing his other hand on top, holding her firmly, his spirit touching her own as hers touches him, imagining a place of calm and serenity, trying to project this feeling of peace and tranquility over the girl. "Yes. I'm here. Try to focus on me ... you have nothing to be afraid of here, in this place. I will watch over you. Don't be afraid." Afraid? Yes ... somehow thanks to the connection, Flash just knows it ... she is afraid.
Anwyn is, the connection so easily formed between the two feeding the chaos of her dark world almost overwhelming, the warm rainbow strands of her spirit flowing up his arm a little, and around both of his hands now, a picture of them all her mind shows, the only peace found in his words. Eyes, unsightless, but still looking at him, trust so visible, so felt, so needful. Even the large grey tabby was working his way onto Flash's lap, his Mistress's trust felt. The constancy of his ressurance merging into her mindweb, stilling it, giving her a peace so long not hoped for that her overwhelmed body falls to sleep, dreams so vivid so quickly to have that web bright and flaring about her in a sheild of sorts, unbidden, unknown of, just there. Untapped, raw power held in the girl who holds Flash's hand for dear life even as she sleeps, a final "Thzank you, Fvlash..." before she drifts away into serenity.
