Flash_Guardian walks along the beaches that surround Redfang Island, careful footsteps taken as his tabi boots make their mark in the sands, watchful eyes looking from one side to the other. The ocean breeze tosses his red cape about behind him, his fiery locks brushed gently its passing.

David_Silverwolf looks up seeing a dojo in the distance. he walked toward it with intrest

Reika would make her way across the last bit of the land bridge, balmy sea air glifting her messilly-done chocolate hair, large brown eyes scanning the beach ahead as she hastens her step, approaching the distant beach, hands swinging naturally at her sides.

Flash_Guardian indeed catches sight of others while on his patrol, slowing in his steps just a bit as he looks to Reika, watching her closely. He quickly puts a spring in his step to close the distance, moving at great speeds across the beach, though indeed Flash makes it seem like little more than a jog. At last he reaches within earshot, slowing his pace and raising a hand in a quick wave, smiling. "Welcome."

[Flash_Guardian ] The dojo rests at the north of the clearing at the island's center. Just outside the main entrance into the south wing of the dojo, a short stone juts up out of the ground, with a brassy plaque on its side, words turned up to the reader's eye: "Here rests the Dojo of Redfang, a place of learning and sanctuary for all who can embrace the ideals of tolerance, honor, enlightenment, and sanctuary. This dojo belongs to all, but most especially to the following people who so freely gave their time and energy to this project. May they always find a resting place here within these walls." The plaque continues with a list of names, which can be seen by reading the profile given earlier.

Reika would spot FLash, but wouldn't bothe rhurrying he rnaturally brisk movemnt. "Are you the official welcoming commitie?" she'd let one hand, extending from her tattere d jacket, snugly wrappped like thge rest of her slender frame in that cloth, move to her hip, elarge brown eyes on him.

David_Silverwolf reads the plaque and heads inside

Flash_Guardian catches his breath quickly before nodding happily. "Yep! I'm scheduled for beach patrols at this time. My name is Flash, and I humbly welcome you to Redfang Island." Flash puts his hands to his sides and bows, somewhat less formally than he is capable of doing as he is still uncertain about Reika's manner. "What brings you here, if I might ask?"

[Flash_Guardian ] Entering from the main entrance in the south side of the dojo, you would find yourself in a wide, rectangular waiting room. Currently the room is bare and unfurnished, save one thing: a great tapestry which hangs on the wall above the main entrance, woven with "strands of the most brillant colors, all in this banner. There [are] thousands of pictures among it, done with loving care. And in large words, 'Sanctuary' [is] written in the fabric. Pictures of friends eating over a campfire, helping build the dojo .... Each face, each detail, perfect. It was made, perfect dimensions for the main entrance of the dojo." An arch in the north wall leads into the main foyer.

Reika looks to the man, the past him towards the forest trails. "I came to see this Dojo I've heard about"

Flash_Guardian grins proudly, hands on his hips. "So you've heard about Redfang Dojo as well? My how word spreads ..." Flash pulls a stray strand of hair out of his face before looking back down one of several trails which lead to the dojo at the island's center. "That trail there will take you to it. The building is still new, and not terribly impressive as far as its interior goes, but it's a working process. Mind if I escort you?"

Reika pauses. "It's new?" She shakes he rhead a little, perhaps to herself. "I see, no I don't mind. How old is it, exactly?"

Flash_Guardian nods. "Construction for the dojo was finished about ..." Flash thinks for a moment. "November, I believe. About three months ago, in any case. We're slowly starting to see students and teachers both coming here to seek training, from me as well as others. Personally, I'm surprised just how much notice Redfang has gotten since the initial construction." Flash now takes the first few steps down the trail. Where each of the eight trails begin at the beach, a simple wooden construct has been erected in the sand, each of which holds up a torch whose flame burns well and brightly regardless of the weather. Each torch sheds a different color of light, so no matter where you are on the beach or what time of day or night it is, you can tell where you are. The flames stand as beacons, directing newcomers to the trails that lead inward towards the dojo waiting at the island's center.

Reika would head towards thenearest trail, streching her arms. "I see, what is it you offer here?

Flash_Guardian shrugs casually. "I would say the island has much to offer. Especially for those who have but little to lose. It is governed by the laws of sanctuary - any who seek asylum here may find it. I myself, as well as others, see to such personally. Outside conflicts are met with strict resistance. Beyond that, we can offer training in the arts of combat, sorcery, meditation, spiritual enlightenment, healing ... whatever our meager resources can provide." Flash shrugs casually, making quick headway up the southeast trail through the woods. Not much longer before they will break from the trees into the large clearing at its end.

Heyuka_Seisioko Falls fomr the sky hitting the ground,as he hits the ground the ground around him caves in and the earth shakes.Starts to stand up his blade hits right next to him stabbing into the ground...While starting to stand up his hair frolics all aroudn his face casting a light shadow on it.Stands up fully Looking around the Island,Blows some air form hisw soft lips moving the hair uncasting the shadow from his face.Walks off walking up to Flash grinning a little waving back," Yes it is good to see you also FLash,i would of been on sooner but brother took a little longer."

Heyuka_Seisioko 's Hair swings in the breeze as he glances over to the lady that is with FLash," Ummm sorry for that its a habit..'.As he takes FLash's hand shaking it then sitting down next to him looking around the island.

Flash_Guardian catches Heyuka's rather destructive landing as the earth shakes nearby, and just as he comes out of the trees and into the clearing. Flash looks to the disturbance, spotting Heyuka quickly as he approaches. "Greetings, Heyuka-san." Flash bows his head lightly. He glances to the crater of earth nearby ... and then to another on the far side of the clearing ... an another among the trees nearby, which still has several broken branches and a hole in the tree canopy from his descent. "Oh, don't worry about it. I'll just make you fill in all the holes you've made and replant the grass later." Flash's expression bears an amused smirk. Is he serious?

Reika clears her throat softly as she continues towards tyhe Dojo. "Restraint is the key to success.." Ouch.. you got told off! ANyway, she'd move on ahead,whether they follow or not.

Heyuka_Seisioko Rolls his eyes lightly,HAzily stands up looking to the female with a smart ass grin on,Bows his head lightly looking to her." Im sorry miss im Heyuka_Seisioko,or HAri."Then bows his body from waist up.Watching the lady he replies also," Ahh yes i agree".Stands back up fully looking at the holes he made and the grass disappear,grins a little,but loosk diturbed form FLash's comment.Sighs resting his shoulder down but walks off sitting on a rock a few feet infront of the Female watches her,then glances over to Flash cracking his neck.As he says a few words," Umm...so whats today's lesson Flash Master.

Reika notes that she's already gone ahead to the dojo, so you probably arn't going to ge tin front of her. Plus, she's not ther eyet

Heyuka_Seisioko Sticks his tounge out

Flash_Guardian speaks aloud, not looking behind him as he continues toward the main entrance to the dojo. "Heyuka is one of my students, miss ..." Flash looks to the side for a moment. "Hmm. Didn't catch your name." He shrugs, moving on. She would give out her name as she saw fit, and Flash would not inquire. He and Reika pass a strange stone object in the clearing on their way ...

[Flash_Guardian ] Outside of the dojo, on the front lawn, a curious sort of obsidian formation rests in an out of the way location, out in the yard just south of the dojo's south entrance by approximately 50 feet, a small stone circle with obsidian spires rising up at regular intervals. Each spire has a specific symbol carved into it. "It uses an enhanced version of the same principles on which both sundials and stone circles are made. It has the dual function of indicating not only the time, based on either the position of the sun or moons at any time, but one can also determine the date from it, as it doubles as a lunar calender if you learn how to use it correctly. At noon every day, and midnight every night, it should reflect a brief and concentrated flash in a northerly direction, precisely into what should be the entrance to the dojo."

Flash_Guardian ponders at Heyuka's question. "Today, Heyuka ... today's the day I figure out just what you're capable of. You already seem to have some fighting skill. I would suggest a brief and friendly spar to test your abilities and determine what best to work on first."

Reika sighs, peering over at the two, arms crossing. She concidered facing the man, he had given her a surprise and she'd want to give some payback, but still, she doubted he'd want her to face him. "It's Reika." she replies to Flash.

Heyuka_Seisioko STands up walking over to Flash grinning slapping his face lightly being a smart ass he replies,Dont hurt me to much and dont hold back,As he finishs walking over to a clearing from the DOJO.Stands there practicing on the air,unseaths his blade spinning it around his hand a few times slashing at the air infront of him,Puts it up holdinghis fists out as flames a ppear turning black.Pluls them back thrusting forward as a black wave of a beam goes infront of him going along the water sorrounding the Island.As water moves ot the side fomr the force,HE stands up turning his body at a little angle hitting his fists together,"Im ready when you are"blowing his hair ot the side.

[Heyuka_Seisioko ] * pulls

Reika steps forward. "If you don't mind, I'll face him." SHe'd glance sideways to flash, hands brought up, cracking her nuckes infront of her.

Flash_Guardian is always up for a match, whether between himself and another or watching and commenting on a different pair. "Pleased to meet you, Reika." Flash can hear the sounds of powerful ki attacks being conjured forth behind him. And then an offer from the newcomer meets him with surprise. Flash glances between the pair. "Rrreally?" Flash mutters in amusement, a slow grin spreading about his lips. He seems to consider for a moment, watching Heyuka's face to see what his reaction is to such a proposal.

Heyuka_Seisioko GLances ot the girl crossing his arms over his chest tight,Grins alittle as a wave appear around him moving outwards dust raising from the force and the grass looking liek waves from the ocean.Then glances over to Flash," ITs up to you Master".

Reika would raise an arm up to shield her eyes from the flying dust, still looking towards Flash

Flash_Guardian looks back and forth between the combatants one final time before nodding. "Alright, then. We'll hold our match out here, where we don't have to risk damaging the dojo. I suggest you both discuss the terms of victory. I will oversee this match personally. After you both are done talking, come tell me and we shall begin."

Heyuka_Seisioko Agrees nodding his head looking over to Reika

Reika nods. "Whoever gets knocked out first loses, no killing."

Flash_Guardian gives Heyuka some time to himself for the moment to prepare his mind and body for the approaching fight. At Reika's words, he nods very much in agreement. He adds, as an afterthought, "If either of you require healing after the match is over, I will see to it personally. The extent of my healing abilities aren't much, but they should suffice. Care to see a bit more of the dojo while we wait for Heyuka-san to finish?" he offers to Reika, gesturing behind him to the dojo.

Reika nods. "I suppose so, let's look around. After you..."

Flash_Guardian smiles in return, leading Reika back to the dojo entrance. Just outside, the same rock with the bronzed plaque mentioned above can be seen. On it are such names as: "Aislinn, Alison, ClaudiusBlue, Blank, Cannon, Devaine_Hawk, Flash_Guardian, Glyniss_McMasters, Jaia-Asumoto, Kade, Kalakr, Kitari, Lafiel, Omenis, PhorenNarqu, Tiny, and Triad." It continues: "And to anyone else who has contributed of their resources to make this dream a possibility, you have the thanks of the students and denizens of Redfang, so long as there are those who seek greater things and wish to learn and practice the art of noble combat."

Flash_Guardian steps up to the main doors quickly, pulling one of them open to reveal the interior of the poorly furnished common room. Indeed, if one turns their eyes from the scarcity of decor, the structure is quite well built in old oriental style. "This is the south wing," Flash tells Reika, turning and bowing in the doorway in respectful tradition before stepping inside.

Reika pauses a moment to read the plaque, arms crossing, before moving after Flash. "I see. A lot of help for this place already."

Flash_Guardian nods while he looks around. "Not all of them still frequent the island, but I do see some of them from time to time, as well as some new faces." Flash moves slowly to the archway at the far side of the room, leading into the main foyer. Another archway north leads from there into the central training room. A hallway leads east and west, from which a pair of private studies may be accessed. At the ends of the hall are doors which lead out, though they are perched some two feet above ground level ... apparently there is yet more to be constructed.

Reika grins. "Well, it's certianly quait... I like it..."

[Heyuka_Seisioko ] ok iim back told yeah i wasnt gonna take long

Flash_Guardian suddenly gets an exasperated look on his face, eyes rolling to the heavens. "Sure, it's quiet now ," Flash complains aloud, shaking his head. "You should see it at other times. Sometimes its quiet, sometimes its extremely overpopulated and almost impossible to keep track of everyone. The island is always so difficult to manage at times like those ... and we can get some pretty odd characters, let me tell you!" Flash throws his hands up in surrender.

Reika chuckles, peering over at Flash, before tapping her foot. "Well, where is that kid?"

Heyuka_Seisioko Walks over to Rekia nudging her grinning " Right here".

Flash_Guardian blinks idly for a moment, looking to Reika blankly. "Hmm? Oh! Right ... Heyuka. He should be ready by now." And indeed, he appears. "Right, then. Back to the clearing, and I'll set things up. This will be a knock-out match ... NO lethal moves or killing strikes. " Flash trots out quickly to the clearing once more to make the necessary preparations.

Reika gives him a glare, before setting off towards the clearing from before. Yes, just her thing...

Heyuka_Seisioko Heads over to the clearing grinning crossing his arms over his chest tight standing on his side of the clearing.Glances to both" Ok i agree ",as he watches Flash do the final touches.Glares back watching the young female approach sighing.

Flash_Guardian stands some distance away from the dojo, turning back to face it. Standing firmly, he raises his arms before him, head bowed as he begins to concentrate. Palms facing each other, the others can see motes of golden light begin to swarm about between Flash's hands, the power intensifying and solidifying into a single sphere of energy. When at last the brightness is critical, Flash flings his hands outward toward the dojo, sending the ball hurtling at the building. Some ten feet away from the structure, Flash whips his arms to the sides violently, causing the ball's energy to spread out in a massive sheet of force, forming a protective translucent golden wall of energy some 50 feet high and 100 feet long. Flash's arms drop, and he nods satisfactorily.

Reika streches, producing two clawed gloves from inside her coat, sliding one onto each hand. Three short, sharp blades extende dfrom the knuckles of the claw weapons, as she shifted her fingers, tensing up and taking a defensive stance. "Ready!"

Flash_Guardian then turns back to face the pair, hands held behind his back. "You're both on your honor to settle things on your own. I will only serve to clear up any prolonged disputes and hold the rules of the combat. I want a good, clean match." Flash now goes somewhat more rigid. "Face your opponent and bow!" he calls loudly.

Heyuka_Seisioko Watches the orbs form FLash move around like fireballs then the golden force arounde him,Looks to Reika infront of him,Grins cracking his hands hitting them together while crakcing his neck also." Ready when you are who does first hit">

Reika rolls her eyes. "Just come on, I don't care who make sthe first hit..."

[Heyuka_Seisioko ] me Looks to Reika and bows lightly leaving his eyes on her,raises up replying." Clean yes bloody maybe...I will Promise a good fight miss Reika".

Flash_Guardian is waiting for Reika to bow with his hands behind his back, watching with an eagle eye.

Reika rolls her eyes, before she nod she rhead, then raising her left hand. three pinkish darts of energy form and launch forth fast as arrows from a bow as she swing she rhand down. One is aime dto eithe rside of him, one right for his chest in curent position. These energy darts are made of mental energy, so most Magic,a nd phsysical defenses won't block them. They're being launched like arrows, so they're pretty fast moving. The effects of these darts, and any other Psionic weapon she uses will be noted if and only if it strikes.

Heyuka_Seisioko RUshes up to Reika thrusting his elbow forward to her nose,hopefully hitting it maybe drawing a little blood.Falls ot the ground on his feet spinning around in 180 degrees kicking her feet from under her.Raises up pulling his blade out Holding it to her face.Throws it to his side slicing into a tree getting it stuck.Jumps back as he holds his hands out as a blue arua appears infront of him sending a wave to Reika hopefully she doesnt move ot the side or something as it hits her.

Flash_Guardian quickly steps back and gives the combatants some space.

Flash_Guardian watches from afar and awaits some kind of collision ...

Heyuka_Seisioko Glances at Reika giving out a little laughter rushing up to her moving to the side with ease he watches her reactions.Slowly stops as if time around ihm slowed down for a few seconds,He sees an opening to hit her hopefully she doesnt see it.He thrusts both of his hands out as Black Flames appear hitting her on the side of the stomach,Her t shirt might burn if she still hasnt seen the opening and he gets to hit her.The flames grow all around her comsuming her almost hopefully blowing her back leaving maybe a few damages.

Reika shall post. She threw her darts, but he managed to jump aside. Taking a hop back, she;d watch him befor ehe launche dhis flame. Sure, he can launch it. SHe would leap forward, away from him, tucking to roll over the ground, away from the impact of the black flames, turnign and peering obver her shoulder towards him, she raise she rright hand, hands streching lightly, a pinkish glow gathering, as she prepares some attack of some sort.

Heyuka_Seisioko Looks down to her as he relaixes he missed with the Flames,Grins a little then goes to a sad face looking downas he notices a pink orb.Sighs not noticing it as he realizes it.

Flash_Guardian continues to oversee the match. As an afterthought, he brushes his hand against his face and mutters something likely unheard amidst the sounds of combat, and his eyes take on a subtle otherwordly bluish glow which allows him to 'see' in the magical spectrum.

[Heyuka_Seisioko ] it did to me im just wondering if she launched it or not ?

Reika would stand, spin, and extend the pink-glowing hand towards Hey. "Haa!" she'd call out, along with the activation of her charged telekinesis. It'll try and grab Hey around the torso, and lift him. He'll retain control of his limbs, but she has most of the control of him, what with being able to levitate and throw him. SHe'll just raise him into the hair with a lift of her hand, lightly.

Heyuka_Seisioko Feels the force grab around his torso looking down to her grinningtrying to break free but cant.Kicks aroundand hits the Telekenisis hand wondering how to get free.

Flash_Guardian watches Reika with wide eyes ... partly because of her methods, and party because of what his new magical sight is telling him about her. He at yet sees no fault with either side's methods, so is content to remain silent.

Reika smirks, her hand tremblign a little sinc ehe's struggling. "I've got you at my mercy. Want to surrender, or what?"

Heyuka_Seisioko Grins looking down to her hitting the force around him finally breaking free dropping standing up looking to her," just starting".

Flash_Guardian looks to Heyuka after hearing the woman's proposal, seeming quite neutral about the idea. Indeed, there is no shame in such a defeat. Flash has already seen much, and has much advice to give.

Reika would draw him back just a bit, in an attempt to fling him awayt frm her, through the air. at this range, it'll take two turns of rushing to get back to melee range. And now, he r telekinesis has given out, so she'd drop to one knee, needing to recover her energies, now.

Heyuka_Seisioko Flys back almost hitting a tree then freezes in the air,Rushes back to atleast a mid range of Reika.Lands on the ground on his feet looking down to Reika as she is powerless for an attack.

Heyuka_Seisioko Knnes down picking the Female up with one hand squeezing her throat,Nduges his hand back thrusting his hand forward throwing her a few feet,disappearing reappearing infront of her hitting her down to the ground,Rushes up to her spinning around connecting his hand to her hopefully knocking her down to the ground a lot faster.

Heyuka_Seisioko Stops looking over to Flash then Reika Bowing," im sorry must go mom needs the computer sorry"

Flash_Guardian seems to be following each move and the methods behind them with little difficulty, except for Heyuka's sudden midair reversal. Not only a denial of momentum but of gravity as well. The easiest explanation, of course, is the manipulation of time ... a difficult ability to master, and not a power best left in the hands of novices.

Flash_Guardian steps in quickly before any further blows land, placing himself between the fighting pair and signalling for a stop. "Alright, that's enough!"

Flash_Guardian does seem to notice the darts hurled by Reika, as he leaps into the air to meet them ... calling upon his own meager psionic abilities, his arms move to quickly deflect a few key darts that would have struck Heyuka. One such dart gets through his defenses and strikes him, while the others streak onward to hit what targets they will. "Ungh!" Flash winces, dropping back to the earth and bringing a hand to his head.

Reika note sher darts do no physical harm, they tend to generate a mental shock on impact, breaking concenration, and affecting force of mind, mental energy, and if powerfully charged, they can induce unconciousness, memory destrction, and even death, this flurry was all very weak, though.

Flash_Guardian quickly rises to his feet again, blinking repeatedly and tapping at the side of his head with his palm. "Nnnn..." He shakes his head vigorously while taking in a steadying breath, then looking back to Reika with a raised eyebrow. "Well, that was different ... seems you could teach me a thing or two." Flash glances back to the rapidly departing Heyuka, calling after him. "Don't forget to fill in those holes!"

Reika smirks, crossing her arms. "Hmm.. you paying? I don't exactly have much work around here"

Flash_Guardian turns back to Reika, bemused. Smirking, he looks over to a nearby crater in the earth from one of Heyuka's prior impacts. Slowly his hands rise up from his sides in broad sweeping gestures, gathering a bright greenish glow as they go. When they reach over his head, he straightens up quite tall on his tiptoes, then abrubtly falls to a crouch and hammers his palms into the ground before him, the greenish energy flying forth in a shockwave that travels along the ground, disturbing the earth slightly until it reaches the crater. The magical effect causes the soil there to shuffle and move, rising up to fill in and smooth out the hole as if it were never there, and bringing blades of grass from the surrounding lawn to cover things over just a bit. Taking a breath, Flash steadies himself and rises once more to give Reika a knowing look. "I could do it myself easily enough. I want Heyuka to do it. Trying to prove a point."

Reika nods. "Yes, I perfectly understand that point. I meant with the teaching..."

Flash_Guardian 's mouth forms a small circle. "Oh. Right. Well ..." Flash raises a hand to rub at the back of his neck uncomfortably. "There really isn't much money going around the Dojo ... most of it went into it's construction. So for now, we're relying entirely on volunteer time and energy."

Reika taps her foot. "Well.. I like this place. If I can't fins something else, I'll be sure to come here... hell, I might just come here casually to teach even if I do find something else for personal support."

Flash_Guardian shrugs happily to Reika. "We can offer you a spare bedroll, a roof over your head, and a decent meal or two. Same as anyone that comes to visit. At least until we manage to get the dormitories finished. Then our living accomodations will be much better."

Reika nods. "I've got that on my own, for now, though, but believe me, I'll come back."

Flash_Guardian grins happily and nods once in affirmation. "Glad to hear it. And maybe next time you can try your luck with me." Flash folds his arms over his chest, delighted by such a proposal.

Reika chuckles, removing her claws as she turns to go. "I went light on the kid, but you look better able to handle yourself. see you then." she waves, before setting off back across the bridge

Flash_Guardian bows slightly to Reika, smiling happily as she takes her leave. "I'll look forward to it."
