[Tandrall ] The sound of strings being strummed is heard, a melody frolicking happily through the trees that surround. Neither is nature disturbed or beguiled ... rather the sounds of the guitar seem almost harmonious, as part of every leaf and brush of wind ... but where is it coming from?

Princess~Siara makes her way along the worn path, her sword hanging in her hand, and her two daggers held tightly in the other, hoping to get some good practice out here where there's more space. She get's a little side-tracked however when she hears some music....quite beautiful music actually, and decides to continue on to see where it's coming from.

[Tandrall ] It's difficult to tell just where the sound issues forth from, as it seems to reverberate from all around, echoing off each tree and branch. But it seems to be coming from a more or less specific direction, and sure enough the farther Siara follows the stronger the melody is heard, until at the last she catches a glimpse of the musician through a break in the trees ahead. He is seated upon a large rock with a guitar-like instrument in his lap, hands to their places and patiently brushing against the strings to bring forth that lovely melody. The eyes on his horned head are closed, his cloak draping all about him. His pack is on the ground resting against the rock near where his chocolate furry legs dangle, ending in hooved feet. He appears completely lost in his one-man symphony. Or perhaps the wind in the trees is all the accompaniment this creature of nature needs.

Princess~Siara stops walking as she first spies the strange creature who seems to be creating such beautiful sounds, smilng to herself she continues on toward him stopping just a meter away from him, listening and watching him live each note perfectly, like a dance.

Tandrall seems to incline his head ever so slightly, as if trying to catch a stray bit of music that evades him ... or perhaps he hears something? An approaching audience, perhaps? Either way, lips slowly broaden into a pleased smile as the song naturally winds down to a subtle ending. A leaf nearby seems to follow along as the plucked melody slows, winding up and along in lazy circles as if propelled by the music ever along towards Siara, seemingly given a life of its own. A pause before the final note, a lull in the tune as the leaf falls ... and the last note is struck just as the leaf would set upon Siara's head.

Princess~Siara couldn't help but giggle as she watched the leaf dancing about, her eyes following it up into the air and straining to see it as it lands on her head gently. Clapping her gloved hands merrily to the creature she laughs and reaches to collect the leaf from the top of her head. "Brilliant...simply beautiful" she beams to him, clasping her hands together.

Tandrall 's eyes at last flitter open to reveal his amusement and delight, eyes that carefully look to Siara with a proud grin. He seems to examine her in total, from head to toe, arm to arm, and then back to Siara's face. His eyes ... those rich brown eyes of an unearthly shade, stare into Siara's own, as if locked upon her. In his eyes, Siara can see the strength of mountains mingled with stout oak and pine nurtured by rich soil ... a mere glimpse is caught of the sheer depth of Tandrall's being ... and then he blinks, and the reverie is broken. "Greetings," a musical and deeply enchanting voice calls to Siara.

Princess~Siara is almost mesmerised by him as he stares at her "Hello there..." she says to him, bowing her head to him a little, "...I'm Princess Siara.....that was a very pretty tune!" flicking her eyes to his instrument and back.

Tandrall closes his eyes, lifting his chin slightly to one side. "Mmmm, yes ... it is one of my favorites. 'Tis far older than I, and best played in the company of plants and trees that reflect its age. Never sounds quite the same in any other company." His eyes reopen as his attention seems to return to Siara. "Oh! But I digress! Please forgive me ... you may call me Tandrall, Princess." A low and noble bow of the head is offered in return, giving Siara a full view of little else but the horns on his head ... it's a bit difficult to see where his bushy hair ends and horn begins ...

Princess~Siara nods to him "Tandrall...it's my pleasure to meet you" smiling a little as he bows to her. "I'm terribly sorry, but time has gotten away from me, and I really should be getting back to the castle..." she points off into the distance, through the trees, to the magestic castle that can just me made out from where they're standing "...I shall hope that I see you again, Tandrall, perhaps with more time to enjoy your pretty music." Nodding to him she lifts the front of her large gown so as not to trip and daintily runs back toward the castle calling back to him "Goodbye Tandrall...I shall seek you out another day!!" before hurrying out of sight.

Tandrall calls after Siara amidst heartly laughter. "Nay, gentle miss! Seek me not, for it is I who shall find you !" Tandrall watches Siara vanish once more into the trees.
