[Triad ] The massive airship known only as the Triad hovers over the eastern beach of Redfang Island, suspended in midair by the powerful levitation generators and wind turbines that keep it aloft. Down below, a young boy stands upon the beach's surface, clad in dark grey slacks and shirt, with white hair that curiously doesn't seem to blow in the wind at all. Close-by, a small hemispherical droid hovers a couple feet off the ground, with numerous mechanical 'arms' protruding from its underside, its 'eyes' keeping a close eye upon the boy.
Blu_Myst is falling down from the sky, obviously no longer in demon form. Once again, she'd fallen asleep while flying. She crashed into the island's crust with a loud thud, though the damage was hardly felt. She shot up, coughing a bit before sucking her lip. She guessed she bit it. She looked about her, glancing up towards the sky. She would notice an airship, but thought nothing of it. She knew her hunter did not own such a prized position. Slowly, she stood up and began to walk towards it, curiuos.
Little_Half~Breed_Kodora she made her way onto the island, soaking wet mind you, but there none the less. her silver hair had turned as black as the night itself. her cattish features gone from her body and face. she had human ears, normal eyes, and so on. her clothing didn't stink off ale anyore simply because she had to swim through the water. though it stil lshowed the classic blood stains. " ugh i hate this day" she grumbled to herself. she began to sneeze and snifflebut would continue to walk through the forest, or what was left of it, till she came apon the dojo. " flash.." she mumbled softly, rather tierd out, sneezing and snffiling. " please be here flash" she said softly.
[Triad ] The young boy continues to watch the ocean's tide as it rises and falls slowly, washing up the slanted sands of the beach upon which he stands, bringing all manner of treasures in from the sea. Just watching. Or perhaps studying is a better term. At length, the drone hovering in the air beside him turns to face the boy, addressing him with a surprisingly human-like and cheery feminine voice. "Do you have any other questions, Triad?" The boy shakes his head, looking to the drone and smiling happily. "No. I think I'm starting to understand. The reason the surface of the ocean is constantly moving in waves and tides actually has to do with the moons in orbit over this planet, as well as the sun. They provide a near-constant pull upon the ocean's water, leaving it constantly in motion." Lydia laughs. "Geez, you're a fast learner! I wish I'd learned as fast as you back when I was still in school ..."
[Triad ] The drone laughs, that is.
Blu_Myst would stop moving towards the airship to sprint towards the middle of the island. Most of the activity was usually held around here, but she could pick up not many persons. On the whole island, she could sense a minimum amount of people. She sighed, sitting down in the sand. The normal people weren't even on the island. It seemed, to some sort, abandoned.
[Triad ] The boy looks to the drone, Lydia, satisfied for now. "I think I've got it all figured out. Can I be done now?" he asks piteously. The drone again laughs in that same lilting feminine laugh, eyes blinking in time. "Yes, alright! We can be done for now." The boy grins happily. "I've detected some motion towards the center of the island, near the dojo. Can we go take a closer look?" The drone ponders this a moment, glancing up toward the airship up above, then back to the boy. "Race you." Triad simply blinks back at her. "You want to challenge me to see who can get their first? Lydia, your top speed as a repair-class drone is only 30 kph. My top speed far exceeds that by a factor of nearly eight to one."
Little_Half~Breed_Kodora she continued to sneeze, aswell as a stuffy and runny nose. " FLASH!!" she called out in a plugged up voice. "FLASH!!" she caleld out again. again again she would sneeze.she would occasionally break out into caughing fits. her clothing was soaking wet. she immedietly, once insidethe dojo, would begin to disrobe while wallking throug hthe halls. she came apion ,what looked like to be a boarding type room with many bunks. she scame to one bunk and rummaged through who's ever belongings the yahppend to be and wrapped her wet cold body up in a warm , clean, soft white kimono. " ahh. poor fool. hope they don't notice this gone." she laughed again, and grabbed a blanket wraping herself in it and walking out of the room, down the hall, trying to find uncle flash. "FLASH!!" she yelled out again between sneezing fits.
[Triad ] The drone buzzes indignantly at the boy. "What?" she says. "You don't think I can do it? Try me." The boy seems rather confused, and begins to argue. "Lydia, I fail to see the poi-" But before he can finish, Lydia has already swivelled in midair, leaning towards the forest and slammer her tiny retros for all they're worth. "Come on, you're losing time!" she calls back to the boy, heading into the woods and towards the center of the island. Triad is left there, blinking for a moment ... but eventually smiles and shakes his head. "This is highly illogical," he says, sounding almost cheerful about it. Shortly after, the image of the boy flickers and fades, and the airship overhead jars and swings into motion, tipping forward, its massive wind turbines whining powerfully as the Triad makes its way inland, over the tops of the trees that surround the dojo at the island's center.
Blu_Myst looked back, hearing Flash's name. She would get up and walked towards the dojo. For the times she has been to this island, this would be her second time entering. She looked around, once inside, waiting by the door. If Flash, as well as the others, were here, she would wait for them to arrive.
[Triad ] About a minute later, the massive airship looms into view from the island's center, casting a large shadow over the place and shielding it from the downpour of snow. The airship's turbines power down to hover mode, slowly stabilizing to a holding position 250 feet over the clearing. Down below, inside the dojo in the same hall where Kodora is, a small patch of air begins to distort and flicker, electronic colors jumping and jerking, until eventually focussing and solidifying as the image of the young boy from the beach, still clad in his dark grey slacks, long sleeved grey shirt, white hair, and curious eyes. He seems to be staring at Kodora curiously. "Hello?" he calls to her in his young and friendly voice.
Little_Half~Breed_Kodora she turned around, glaring in annoyance at tehe boy " what the hell do you want" she hissed. it wasn't just hte fact that it wasn't flahs or blue, but it was the fact that someone she didn't know or trust, who could be an enemy, would find her in the humans state she was in, and later use it against her. " PISS OFF!" she yelled out angriily. and went to hold up a hand, cracking the knuckles just by flexing them, no contact from the other hand, to bear claws. but she would soon see that she infact, had no clasws. she thought to herself . "FLASH WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU?" she hissed out , rather worried about herself, and flash and blue. she missed them soo much
[Triad ] The boy blinks at the ... unusual greeting he had just recieved, not really knowing how to respond at first, so he just stands there blinking, hands clasped behind his back standing nice and proper. Eventually, he uses the only response he thinks is best. "Flash is currently in the forests on the northern side of the island. If I were to wager a guess, I would say that he is performing some kind of training." He opens his mouth to continue, wanting to be as helpful as he can ... but he isn't sure just what to ask, so just stands there.
Little_Half~Breed_Kodora " north end eh?" she would begin to run past him, out the dojo and towards where flash was : "FLASH1!" she cried out "FLASH FLASH!!" she cried out.
Triad straightens visibly, looking as if he'd like to protest, but all that sounds from him is a muffled cry as Kodora runs past him and out. A mournful sigh is given, and an almost pouting look to the floor of the dojo before the boy's image is overcome by static, wavering and fuzzing out of sight and mind. Only seconds later does another figure rush out of the woods to the east ... the small repair drone known as Lydia, shooting out of the trees like a rocket, quickly leaning back and firing her retros in the opposite direction to slow her progress. "Okay, Triad, you win!" She turns now, looking back up toward the airship in the sky, waiting for some kind of response. None comes. "Triad?" the female voice asks again, a touch of concern to her voice.
[Flash_Guardian ] On the far north side of the island, near where forest gives way to sandy beach, a loud cry, 'HAI!', can occasionally be heard, followed by a resounding 'THUNK!' Birds quickly scatter out from the trees at the loud and disturbing sounds.
Little_Half~Breed_Kodora she would rush towards flash, panting heavily between sneezes and sniffles.. "FLASH!!" she coughs softly.
Valkrus a loud 'CRASH!!!' is heard a little ways away from Flash's location, trees falling over from the impacitation of the landing of 'him'. Slowly he would stand up form the crater he had just made and look around himself. " ....I really gotta work on my landings.... " His pet wyvern flys nearby next to him and lands on his shoulder. He pets his wyvern and starts wakling to where birds were flying away from a certain spot....if he knew, either a person was there, or a monster...hopefully it was Benjaminblue or his friend Flash.
[Flash_Guardian ] "HAI!" Wham! Another resounding blow, and a sickening crack is heard from just ahead of where Kodora is. She can hear Flash before she can see him ... but when she at last catches sight of him and what he is working on, it's quite disgusting ... A particular tree near Flash has been heavily pounded on, its bark rubbed off in several places, bearing scars from many blows, none of which have managed to find a central mark. The tree itself seems to have been hit so many times that it is actually leaning sideways, using its neighbors for support. Flash's face is contorted slightly in a controlled expression of pain, as blood drips from his knuckles. And again, in this torturesome sight, Flash whips his fist back and strikes out, "HAI!" his arm a blur as it impacts with the trunk of the tree yet again. Crack!! The whole tree shakes now, sending a flurry of white snowflakes down all around him.
Little_Half~Breed_Kodora she ran and jumped ounto flash "STOP IT FLASH!!" she cried out. she really hated to see the forest being destroyed for hte dojo, but she said nothing. but this was rather annoying. " FLASH!! STOP IT!" she yelle out sharply , but would only end up sneezing endlessly, and all over flash.
Flash_Guardian senses something coming in quickly from the right, instincts kicking in ... and backed by his current rage of frustration, an arm lashing out to intercept Kodora's leap, grabbing hold of whatever part of her clothing that he can. He looks to Kodora, eyes blazing erratically at first, though at length he would calm down, startled and apologetic, his tension loosening. "Kodora!" The blood from his knuckles trails down the white of her Kimono, quickly staining a patch of it in a rich crimson.
Little_Half~Breed_Kodora she sighed softly and looked at flash " whats wrong flash? why are you bleeding? why are you doing this?" she said worriedly about him, tears would begin to well up in her eyes. " flash whats wrong?" she asked again.
Jaia-Asumoto moved up from the beach, hearing one word with a loud 'thunk', in constant repetition. Groaning, she continued her ascent toward the noise, her brown eyes looking to be slightly worn out after the previous night. She wore a black kimono, as she had done when she was samurai. Her hair was done up in the Japanese female tradition...rather than the samurai topknot. Ichijmond appeared to be the only weapon she carried, at her left side once more. She appeared, more or less like her former self...appearance, composure, weapon and clothing. Her eyes squinted as she witnessed Flash pounding a tree and his rash reaction to Kodora's presence. Indeed, his Ki did not seem to have as heightened a sense...if he attacked without recognising her presence. But, she wasn't perfect...so she would chuckle, and sigh...Whatever little problems he had; they would disappear in time, as they would with her, or anyone else for that matter. It was the same logic she had before, and instead of her rather homicidal attitude, she --
Flash_Guardian can't think of anything to say as he is sneezed upon by Kodora. Repeatedly. He grimaces, his mouth wavering randomly for a time before at last he sets Kodora gently back down upon the ground. Swallowing something, he tries to think of the right explanation. "Training." And indeed, he is testing himself. "You shouldn't be out in this weather if you're sick, Kodora. Go back to the dojo, where it's warm." Eyes whip back towards the tree, leg tucking and lashing out. "HAI!" The tree is struck once more with Flash's foot, another shake and a dusting of snow from the heavens.
[ClaudiusBlue ] Trapped... Trapped beneath the vast winter landscape. Trapped beneath a layer of crystalized water, a dusting of white powder obscuring his prison from view. The noble had been there since the storm had been conjured, his body twisted and flat against the hard tundra that had been summoned to the lone rusty coloured isle, his noble face shadowed by the lavishly tailored hat that had always been fitted of his golden yellows locks. Frozen... Frozen in movement, frozen in mind, but his soul still burned through the numbing sting of the cold, his desires and hopes keeping a trace of his lifeforce still in motion. A contemplative moment for the bard, a period of absolute dark and quiet to observe his thoughts clearly and without outside influence. Oh, how rarely he experienced this type of meditation, this state of higher being. But there was little celebration as he lay upon the crust of the earth, locked in a futile struggle both towards and away from Flash's monumental dojo. But those two shining eyes shined.
ClaudiusBlue 's been in that kind of mood lately, so you'll have to excuse slow responses if you could. -_-
[Little_Half~Breed_Kodora ] " i'm not sick! ACHOO!!" she would prtest, but obviously she was only in denile/ " Why do you keep saying " yes" ? " she huphed and watched him. "Look just stop!!" SHE CRIED OUT. SHE JUST WANTED TO BE WITH HER FRIENDS. WITHOut [sorr yfor caps] any shit happenbing, no one to sart a fight. she just wanted calm for once.
Jaia-Asumoto -- appeared warm, considerate and approachable. But she would fold her arms, now only ten metres away from Flash and Kodora, choosing to stand behind the young martial sensei. Due to the snow, her feet were covered in woolly white socks, but that was all. She would wait for him to proceed with his, beating of the tree before posing a question in her quiet voice, "If I may ask...Why are you shouting the Japanese word for 'yes'. You usually do that when you succeed in breaking your opponent's defence to land a blow, correct?" smiled in her own shy way, "I've yet to explain procedure, aren't I?" looked to the side, and shrugged meekly, "I've been neglecting a lot of things of late...you will have to forgive my short attendance record, Flash-san."
[Flash_Guardian ] "I can't," Flash explains, coming back to a waiting stance facing his deciduous opponent. "I have to keep up my skills so they don't slip. I have to practice. I have to become stronger ..." Another presence approaches, one that Flash knows ... and yet doesn't know. His head turns now to Jaia, listening to her words. To her, he would reply simply, "The word is simply a focus, Jaia. Something to provide an opponent with a hint of distraction, whilst aiding the strike. The actual meaning of the word means nothing. I could just as easily say 'Kya!' or 'Strike!' and it would have the same effect." Jaia may recognize what Flash is trying to accomplish here ... enough strikes, if well placed, will bring the tree down. Other martial arts masters have accomplished such in their time. But not with so stout a tree. And indeed, Flash's aim would appear to be terrible, judging my the hodgepodge of marks upon the tree, none of which has found the center. The tree also is leaning against the others nearby
[ClaudiusBlue ] A sudden jolt, a quickened motion, the tiniest of movements as one of his brilliant silver talons curled slightly towards his palm through the his icy tomb. With that curl, the man pulled himself from his world of fantasy, a realm of dreams and nightmares, back into the present time, eyes of gold and azure started to focus. The black and dark that surrounded him, the only thing he had been watching carefully and intently, started to fade away, the view of his dear friends academy coming into plain sight now. Again, another sign of life, the fingers of his ebon velvet glove started into dig themselves deeper and deeper into the hardened soil beneath him, the ice that entombed him starting to crackle and shift as he pushed himself away from the bottom towards the top. Hardly rigid, his motions had been easy and unstressed, the glacier barrier above him starting to give way as his back arched against the roof of his cell.
[Flash_Guardian ] ... another point in its favor. Clearly, the tree is winning. But Flash doesn't want to admit defeat.
[ClaudiusBlue ] A mound started to rise upon the edge of the wooded lands, a creature starting to emerge from a womb of shimmering white crystals and a crisp mist of bone-chilling cold air, the duke starting to rise from his grave. More intense sounds starting to carry from his display, the effects of his freedom shattering and snapping the artic glass window that hung above him into a cloud of white crystals and icy debris, as if a monolith had suddenly shoot up from the depths of this land. But it was not a monolith, but somehow appeared to be an effigy of the lord of the winterlands, the grand duke himself, Claudius Blue. The thing still still and silent, his arms reaching into the air with despiration while his face had been twisted into a expression of either pure agony or joy, the likeness of his features either showing that he celebrated being free or that he found it to be torture. That was left up to those what they decided it was, both being perfectly acceptable to the onlookers.
Little_Half~Breed_Kodora she huphs :" FINE BE THAT WAY!" she yells out angrilly. why could she never just spend one moment alone with flash. she cotoniued to sneeze, she owuld tierdly walk back to the dojo. she was tierd , sick, and just all around crappy. she would walk through the empty halls and back to the bunk room. she would climb into a top bunk, which weas someone elses bed. and curls up in it. sneezing, coughing, sniffing and snorting. "benji?" she whispered osftly. just wantint someoen to cuddle up to
Jaia-Asumoto nods slowly, as she does understand his point...However, she had only meant to tease him, but found the effort wasted. Chuckling at her own shortcomings, she would nod, and indicate the tree...that more or less, meant that he could proceed. However, which martial art was he trying to work with? It was known to her that if he had been attempting Kung Fu, he could have put a hole through the trunk of the tree with one clean blow. The snow did not do much to change her, as the kimono was very warm. Japanese to the core, she had shed her modern self for the time being to honour her ancestry. Ronin or not, she still had to honour her Japanese background. She would mildly think to herself, of what to do herself. When one had a dojo, one usually trained inside...especially on days like this. Unless of course it was Iaido, or Judo...those were taught inside and out. One could argue that they could be trained in both environments without difference, but they would have ignored the particular level of --
Jaia-Asumoto -- martial ability...and would not know that those of Junior ability, trained indoors at all times. She unfurled her arms, and shrugged...simply standing, and watching. Being a former teacher herself, she found it harder to reassume the role as student, so some things she did were unorthodox by Japanese standards, but not forbidden...for the main part. "I understand, Flash-san...I will not interrupt you further."
Revenant Ishara would kinda on the trail of Jaia. Where ever the hell she is. Grumbling to herself...she'd be walking until , well she felt the rather bitter bite of the snow. She needed to warm up apparently some how. Sighing, she snif the air lightly and continue upon her path ...whereever that may have lead. All she knew really, was that she was close. That nose never failing her before of course..
Flash_Guardian watches Kodora walk off now, standing there confused and remorseful, though in truth he isn't really sure exactly what he had done wrong. Perhaps she didn't approve of him striking trees? Indeed, his style was an odd mixture of Judo and conventional at the moment. The snow doesn't seem to bother him either, for some reason. He could feel the cold, but it gave him no discomfort. He does feel slightly bad, not realizing that she had been joking until now. He growls at his short-sightedness, whipping around with another powerful strike. "Kyyaah!" Again, Flash misses the center. "Haaahp!" A solid kick, but slightly off. "KAAH!!" His other fist now flung forth, missing by so much as to actually glance off the tree's side. Flash slips in the snow, falling forward and into the tree face first before toppling off to one side. He stops there, on all fours in the falling snow, fists bleeding in the pure whiteness which covered the ground, heaving and panting.
[Flash_Guardian ] His face stares straight into the ground, spiky hair dusted with snow, not daring to look up.
[ClaudiusBlue ] In the same state it had appeared in during its ressurection, the lord still had his right arm fully extended towards the heavens, five silver talons fanned out as if the take hold of something that seemed to escape him. The man's other hand had been on the hilt of his weapon, the spiraling hilt of his rapier, a metal as if made from a combination of silver and glass, the light and luster the blade showing it to be somewhat otherworldly and mystically alluring, but never the less sharp and deadly. The snow gently started to gather on the wide brim of his hat, a collection of the powder starting to form a ring around his head. Then suddenly, a gasp of sweet air, the body of the man falling limp as he took in the essence of the earth and air, his body warming back up to normal. His breaths were heavy, his form crippled as he stared deeply into the core of the earth. "What..." he gasped between his long breaths, letting his mismatched pair survey the land. "...happened?!"
Alison opens her eyes yawning rapaddly as she awoken in a tree still not thinking being made to live here was a good idear she fell out of her tree "owwey" she said holding her head and begins to look around for life on the island
Serielle appears in the Dojo in her usual fashion, the building's floor pulsing...an effect similar to that of dropping a stone into a pond of cool water. As she emerges, it solidifies once more, as if it hadn't moved at all. Plucking an obnoxious string from her blue and white track jacket, she heads for the exit...wishing to find Flash, as well as to get a breath of fresh air.
[Flash_Guardian ] Serielle can hear loud Cracking noises sounding from the forests to the north.
Jaia-Asumoto watched as Flash's off target blows resulted in him being beaten by an inanimate object...Indeed, if it had been her colder side, she would have been most amused. However, she made her way over beside him, facing the tree...standing calmly with both arms on either side. She had practised Judo since childhood, along with Kendo, and Iaido...so this was something she performed naturally. From standing there simply, she assumed an attack in three separate, quick parts. First, she stances, "Shiiiden!" fists curled, and evenly stanced, she made a another firm shout her Ki beginning to accelerate in speed, so her voice was louder, and hoarse, "Hiiitsomo!" and her right fist spun straight ahead, indenting the centre with a loud thunk, once again expressing her Ki through voice, "KYYAHH!" she immediately withdrew her fist, and turned to kneel next to Flash. She placed a slightly bruised on his shoulder. "There was no shame in what happened. Its happened to me so many times, ever since I started...that I'm lucky my -
Jaia-Asumoto -- face isn't re-arranged right now. Any martial art takes dedication, but, heh...your no amateur so I think I'm wasting both our time in explaining..." pats his back warmly and stands up, extending a hand, to help him up...if he needed assistance. It was then she looked up, seeing a figure approaching, a form against the snow...That form, even at this distance was familiar, and caused her to grin widely, and wave with her opposite arm. Ishara was here!
[Flash_Guardian ] "You don't understand," Flash almost shouts into the earth below him, still heaving. A wave of heat can be felt coming forth from the man. "I've done this hundreds of times before!" A few more heaving gasps, before his voice reaches a more quiet tone of pure frustration. "Why can't I do it this time? Why not now? What is so different? Wha ..." Abruptly, he pushes himself up from the ground to sit back on his legs, back arching and face shouting to the heavens. "WHYY!!" As he shouts, that same wave of heat surges forth in more visible and audible form. All at once, a resounding crack twice as loud as any heard previously is heard all across the island, and a burst of flame slowly cascades outward in a small spherical burst. The entire tree shudders, shakes, cracks ... and splits right down the center as if pummeled by the cudgel of an angry giant, quickly taking to flame, broken, burning, and nearly destroyed.
Serielle steps outside, and is quite surprised at the chilly atmosphere...the snow blanketing the ground like a mother would her child...but, she had grown well aware that strange occurences were commonplace upon the island...and that it typically wasn't worth asking about if it didn't seem particularly dangerous. So, she simply waves her hands over her sneakers, watching them transform into a pair of furry boots, her jeans tucked neatly inside...and steps out into the snow, following the sound of Flash's voice.
Revenant Ishara would have then heard , with those ears....meh. She already had a headache as it was. Want to make it worse. She' walk along the forests path. Snow seemed to be everywhere upon this Isle...sniffing about, until rounding the bend of a Tree. She'd see Jaia. Those wolven ears perking backwards. Jaia waved to her. She walked rather maturely. Back straight and what not. Fox tail sliding against the snow every which way. The sounds and noises had stoped, but it was already to good. Eventually coming into veiw for Jaia. Smirking.. " Hey Jaia....heh, couldn't find my way around this place. Still pretty knew to me.. More or less . ". Smiling, to Jaia. Then those golden hues would watch the person in the snow abit and then to his knuckles....bloody as they were.. Then to the tree, he was apparently attacking. Shrugging abit.. Until the Shattering would happen, the un-natural heat rising higher and higher. Ishara would grab Jaia and hug her tightly, turning her back to Flash before well...the
Revenant Ishara area exploded.. Good thing to eh?....She be resistant to fires and etc..
[ClaudiusBlue ] His entire outfit had been covered in a sheen of thick frost, the tassels upon the coners of his overcoat frozen into icicles. Strangely enough though, his body seemed to not to react to the extreme cold, even his hair still loose and curly. His silver gauntlet suddenly leapt from the ground like a attacking beast, its claws digging deeply into the proud trunk of a tree with tremendous force, the wood spintering under his tight grip. His arm slowly started to retract, propelling the noble from the ground to his feet and against the tree, his legs shaky and still weak from being in stasis. Even the loose fabric of his glove seemed as solid as tempered steel, his fingers tough and painstakingly difficult to move. "Damn..." he said in a whisper of a voice that carried across the northern winds. "Folly..." With those words of discontent released into the open air, both of his feet slowly trudged through the layer of snow that had blanketed the interior of the isle, a rythemic crunching noise as he moved.
Jaia-Asumoto moved without any indication that she was going to do so. She found herself in Ishara's arms, and smiled softly...before turning her head to watch the tree go up in smoke. She moved quickly, ducking through Ishara's warm embrace, left hand gripping the katana's sheath while her right hand shot down, and drew Ichijmond, both hands joining on the handle all in the one movement to slash down toward Flash's skull. Her eyes were no longer brown, but their glacier blue...which made her look right at home in the snow. Her cold eyes piercing gaze locked onto his eyes as she stopped the blade two inches above his head. She had expected him to react, and would move with anything he tried to bring up, but the slash toward his head without opposition was the general idea. She would stop the blade, and remain perfectly poised, "You re not controlled. That s why you fail. Over, and over...because you can't focus. Your emotions are the cause of that. Why do you think, I am as I am now?" she stepped back, her left hand --
Serielle trudges through the snow, watching Flash, his overwhelming frustration, with a raised brow. She moves rather quickly through the snow, it's icy surface proving little detriment to her graceful movements. As she nears, her curiosity only rises as Jaia's blade whips through the air, stopping inches from the man's fiery hair..."What in the world are you two up to?" is the question she poses, her voice soft, but carrying a distinctly bemused air to it.
Jaia-Asumoto -- releasing it's grip on Ichijmond so her right hand hold it alone. "I hate to retell lessons that you should have already learnt, and will be teaching soon. You are responsible...at least, you are supposed to be. Control your mind, emotions, and anything else internal...or you will never control yourself physically. You know that already, so why lose control, over something so trivial as making a mistake on a simple manoeuvre? I make mistakes all the time...Mistakes make us better, hmm?" she took another step back, allowing him to regain his bearings, and reassemble tattered dignity. "You are a warrior. Don't shame my belief that you have the potential to be my master." she turned slowly, to face Ishara and her blue eyes faded to their warm brown. She sheathed Ichijmond in the blink of an eye, and wrapped her arms around her, "I missed you, loveliest..."
Revenant Ishara turned about, watching Jaia on one of her little trips again. She'd only grin. Before hand, looking to the tree that was literally exploded and the snow wiped away. She thought of the knuckles, and the tree itself. She wouldn't say anything, but would only proceed in nodding her head lightly. Emotions could do that to a person. Pointing her digits like a gun to Serielle...grinning that toothy grin.. with a hummed noise of......... Bang ...going off in her mind. Before lowering her arms once again. Jaia was teaching the teacher, apparently. Hmmmm. She had much to think about didn't she now?. Welcoming Jaia into her loving embrace, adn grinning. Wolven ears twiching back and within the air as her bushy tail would flick back and forth. " Aye, haven't seen you in a good while either ya know. Kinda made me wonder now and again.." . chuckling to herself rather humerously and shaking her head. " Nah, I'm just kidding. How ya been my lovely. " . Smiling as wide as she could...heh
Flash_Guardian just collapses now, falling backward over into the snow. He could hear everyone nearby ... Serielle's surprise and concern, Jaia's chastising words, Ishara who had shielded Jaia from his unknowing blast ... even the tree which is still crackling like a bonfire, hot against the chill winter air. His eyes are closed, his body lurching once from a deep gasping breath, followed by sobs, through which he tries to speak. "I ... can't!" he cries out in frustration. "Too ... much ... I've tried ... and tried ... time and time ... again! Something's wrong with me!" Jaia was exactly right. Flash isn't controlled. He can't focus. No matter how hard he tries, it simply doesn't come. One thing or another from the previous days somehow finds its way into his heart and takes over. "Something's wrong with me ... something's wrong ... with me ..."
Little_Half~Breed_Kodora she couldn't sleep. flashs memorie still deep in her mind. she couldn't geth im out of her head. she stood up in the top bunk and jumped out, rushing towards the exit ofthe dojo and bak to the northern part of the island " fl;ash. i' msorry" she said softly.finnaly she made her way to him and pouted softly hiding in the bushes, watching him " i'm sirry" she said softly, tears rolling down ehr cheeks.
[ClaudiusBlue ] It was a miracle in itself that the man managed to tread through the snowy winter wonderland that was the northern forest. His shoulders were drawn up high and his frame shivered slightly as he moved onward, but little did the harsh weather attribute this condition to the duke. Rather, he felt weak and tired, lacking energy. Even then, his vision started to blur and refocus as he slunk through the stretch of tall trees, setting his hand against each one that he passed to help keep him standing. There had been a noise, a sound that called to him... A violent crack, a sound of striking wood in the distance. It was little concern to him what it was, nor why it drew him closer. Perhaps it was because the man craved whatever was at the end of his trek, companionship. Though lack of food and rest had turned him into the shambling drone he now appeared to be, the lack of familiarity had begun to unthread the spool of his resolve, the thread of his focus and determination becoming thinner and stretched to its limit.
Cassandra drifted in on a plank of wood she looked down as she jumped off wondering why she was so unlucky to suvive as that all her life was suvival she spent days running and training all alone her voice rather sounding more younger then she is as she has not uesed it for over a year she stood there alone on the sand and begin to feel for the presence of others but her skills were not adapt yet so it failed but she hopeing there was still none here she sat on the beach the young girl looked out to sea with a cold hard look any girl she had been though would problie be crying all the time but she was never going to let herself cry again
Serielle , her bemusement fading to concern for the man...the man with whom she had formed an otherworldly connection, from the moment she had met him...she approaches him, placing subtle pressure upon his arm to effectively turn him to face her. She wraps both arms around him, her own, much smaller form, enveloped in his. She speaks no words, as she knows they are of no necessity. Simply holding him, her hand caresses his neck, and then the hair covering the back of his head. Shh...be calm, loved one...with calm comes clarity, and through clarity shall your answers be revealed ...
Jaia-Asumoto smiled, and kissed Ishara softly, one hand up behind her head, to tickle her ears lightly, "I've been better...But as you can see, I'm still alive, so its working out." pressing her forehead against Ishara's she closed her eyes until Flash's wailing penetrated her mind. Her eyes opened, their glacier, cold blue...anger burning with a vengeance...but she controlled it masterfully. She released Ishara slowly, with an apologetic smile, before spinning around...Ichijmond still in her right hand. "Your right...there is something wrong with you. Your becoming weaker, and weaker...To be strong you must control everything, including your despair. Clarity can only ever be achieved through this and now, look at you! Sitting on the ground, sobbing like a child after it's first lesson of Kendo! Only just discovering how hard it really is! But, you already know how hard it is, what you need to do! You don't focus, your not controlled. To be controlled in fighting, you need to control every aspect of your life! But, --
Little_Half~Breed_Kodora she heard Jaia's words and growed irritated by them " WHY DON'T YOU SHUT UP YOU OLD HAG" she yelledo ut angrilly at her. Flash was one of the strongest people she had ever known. with all the shit he had been through, Kodora thought he handled it pretty damn well. she ran to Flash and sat beside him , looking up at him, tearsi n her eyes.
Flash_Guardian opens his eyes, simply feeling Serielle's approach, not having to see her to know that she is there. Eyes filled with longing latch hungrily onto her face, arms reaching up for her comfort, legs pushing up off the ground to meet her. The blood on his knuckles continues to drip down onto the snow from where they rest at Serielle's back, clinging to her for support as well as sanity, mingled with a mixture of tears. Amazingly enough, Flash's sobbing actually seems to steady, his Ki finding some measure of calm amidst the storm within him, finding strength in the connection to this woman. "Serielle ... I'm so sorry ... thank you! Thank you ... *sniff* and Kodora ... I'm sorry. I didn't mean ... *gasp* ... I didn't mean to be so ... so harsh with you. Don't run off like that! I'm sorry ... everyone, I'm so sorry ..."
Jaia-Asumoto -- you...a former Avatar of the gods, can't be controlled! Is that what s wrong? If it is...do what I've had to do...Get over it!" ignoring the presence of Serielle by her side, she simply toward over Flash...blue eyes blazing dangerously, but all the time...her restraint kept her in check, "You despair, despite everything. You...Guardian, and Sensei of Redfang. You made this island...your a role model! You were -my- role model! I might have beaten you in combat...but so 'what'!? I am eighteen years old! A mere child! And here I am, giving a lecture...to a former avatar! In your confusion, you won't find know what s holding you back. Stand up, damn you...and look me in the eyes! Vent your aggression...but for God's sake...don't sit on your arse like this...Never like this. I respect you too much to bear looking at you like this. At least stand up...and look...at me." her word were toning, down and her temper was passing...but she her eyes held a bewildered look. "Don't be weak...Don't...You are a pillar --
Zelous slowly stepped out from behind a tree. Around his figure black clouds of smoke or whatever substance swirled and slowly vanished into thin air. The white haired individual glanced around the tree and quirks a brow at the crippled individual lying in the snow. "Flash, Flash, Flash... Why is it that I keep finding you debilitated on the ground... In the middle of nowhere? It's already becoming clich." His pale lips twist into a sadistic grin as he stands there watching the drama.
Cassandra stands up thinking she was an easy targert her so she turned around her katana ready by her side she noded a little and approched the forst looking area her gaze not changeing she bliked and keeped walking her sandles clanging a little she frowns sound was her enermy she used her naturll sencers to look for people around nothing in her exspressing changing as she walked
Revenant Ishara would nod graciously, agreeing with the fact that Jaia was still alive and still in good health. Until those glacial blue orbs forming within Jaia's eyes, turned upon Flash once more. She couldn't help but feel somewhat sorry for flash until she would clasp a firm grip upon Jaia's shoulder..." Jaia.....enough... ". She really didn't want to see this get out of hand, anymore then it had already been.
Little_Half~Breed_Kodora she stood up, glaring angrilly at Jaia "SHUT UP!" she yelled again. she bent down, pciking up stones, and then hurled tham at the woman " GO AWAY! DON'T TALK TO UNCLE FLASH LIKE THAT!" she would continue to yell ,despite hersore throat. "LEAVE HIM ALONE!"
Rhode shimmered in with a blur as the sky turned dark....the snow turned a dark purple color form the black sky...it thundered.....lighting soon struck........... He was here......The Beast lives....out in the raging storm...looking....searching..... He surrounds the area of Flash and crew, He made the area around them equal to that of the shadow realm.....He'd appear, standing next to a tree with arms crossed, a sly smirk on his face. " ....I was told that I would find a man....named 'Flash' Here.....where is he.... "
Cassandra entering a clearing with a bulidin she blinked then emothion showing on her face she saw people somthing she had not seen for a long time she just stood there looking at them she just stood there in plain sight looking at them in her black tunic and black baggys not takeing her eyes off them
[Little_Half~Breed_Kodora ] [ i don't wantto do long posts. so if everyone else thinks i suck. well screw you o.o;;]
Jaia-Asumoto -- strength for...them" she said indicating Kodora, whom Jaia had the impulse to throw a shuriken at with her last remark...and Serielle..."Your a pillar of strength for me...If things go wrong, make no sign of it. Be yourself, and tell someone you trust in confidence...But never show it like this...Please, never do this again. If you do, I'll have to hit you...and we both know that won't end well. You are, Flash...Guardian of Redfang Island, Sensei of Redfang Dojo. Master of several martial arts, and former Avatar to the gods...one who even defied them. Just...don't...be weak. Because, when you re like this...everyone is affected. Even me." her hand flew up to block the stones that Kodora threw without much accuracy, so a majority missed. "Your weakness is everyone's downfall. Don't be weak. Be Flash." she felt Ishara's hand there, and nodded...sheathing Ichijmond one more time before turning around and burying her face in Ishara's shoulder. She did not cry or sob...but she needed her pillar of strength.
[ClaudiusBlue ] That voice... That ever so familiar voice speaking ever so familiar words, but something sounded wrong... The voice belonged to Flash but the words did not suit him within the least. Was this another dillusion? Did his ears play cruel tricks on him? The duke had no certain answer to this question as he stumbled onward through the forest, the blurred visage of several people appearing between the dark lines he had been so carefully no trying to collide into. "Flash!" shouted a raspy, winded voice from just beyond the group, the duke careening forward, his form falling and resting upon one of the lines he had been trying his best to evade. Shining amber and icy blue searched, trying to find the object of his attention, his eyes quinted and almost shut. "Flash... You say you are sorry, but who do you answer to...?" he said in a quiet voice, a harsh cough punctuating the end of his sentence. "Do you apologize to yourself? To every one else?" Things started to become clearer now, their faces becoming visible.
ruel tricks on him? Flash_Guardian is starting to find comfort ... all except for the yelling in his ear by Jaia. She was right, completely right. But this was NOT what Flash wanted to hear. His flat hands slowly begin to clench into tight knuckles, bleeding all the more, his arms shaking not from cold but from guilt ... and a rising hatred. "Shut up ..." he says quietly at first, trembling in his rage as he tries to keep it in check ... but it becomes too much for him, his head whipping in Jaia's direction, eyes almost burning with the ire he is feeling at this moment. "SHUT UP!!" Flash's rage seems to manifest itself once again as Jaia would be struck by an invisible force, a wave of force and heat shooting forth to hit Jaia and express his rage that she would have him let out, and he would rather keep in. There was no logic to this, simply a desire for Jaia to feel the unnatural pain that he feels right now.
[Flash_Guardian ] With that, Flash is overcome with grief ... and literally tears from the area, whipping through the trees as fast as his superhuman speed and martial training can take him. He can't take this, it's too much.
Cassandra stands there blinking wondering if she could take them out now could she kill them all her hand slowly reaching for her Katana she blinked the confussed and rush of emotion was perfect she lothed life proble jelece she looked around as she was sloewlly unshething her katana looking for the strongest she would kill that one first
Revenant Ishara would have rocks thrown apparently at herself as well seeing as Jaia was right infront of her. She as well, sensed herself being surrounded. Those golden orbs, searching through the ways of tree's, splitting through the earthen materials to find the said lay-lines of energy and wavelengths of all beings, in which they posessed. She glanced around and raise a hand to the back of Jaias head which nestled lightly ..." We have a problem , Jaia my lovely.. ". Pulsations comeingh from Rhode as well as several others...but then to Flash wish a wavelength growning to fast to even put a single shred of muscle into it. She saw it coming. Spinning about behind her, Ishara would mold her chakr within her hands, instantaniously flowing about her tenketsu and through all parts of her form. Ishara would grin, a invisable wave of energy. How pleasent. And with hat she would strike out upon Flash's attempts to assualt her own lovely. Colliding her own collected chakra , and making a siringical cut in the
Rhode smirks. " The chase is on..... " He jumps off the tree and starts to chase after Flash, keeping up to him easily with his demonic speed......He smirks as he chases, bearing his wolven fangs....
Cassandra wached as now her katana unsethed held tigtly in her right hand her gaze was set on Ishara she appared to be the strongest which ment she was her target. she readed her footing and got ready to attack at this woman
Serielle groans loudly, her eyes looking up to the sky as Flash tears off, Rhode close behind. She turns her gaze to Ishara and Jaia for a moment, before she too, gives chase. She had a rather bad feeling about thise Rhode fellow...and this was no time to leave Flash on his lonesome. Her form becoming hazy, she rushes throught forest, simply slipping through the trees as she comes upon them...no passage would be barred to her as she gave chase with uncanny speed.
[ClaudiusBlue ] The view had become much more unclouded by now, each of the figures now fully recognizable. But what did he see? It could not have been the truth... Rage, pain, a lash of emotions forming into a tangible force that rushed towards the lady ronin with intent to harm. No, that just was not possible. No sooner had the duke turned away in disbelief than did the man rush off into the deeper part of the wood, clearly needing to escape and hide... It was reality, he realized this now, but he did not possess the energy to deal with it for now. "Folly..." coughed the duke, his hand reflexively pulling a white silken hankerchief to his lips as he hacked. Both eyes gradually turned towards Jaia, only watching and observing for now. It would be no doubt in his mind that she could feel his glare watching her, calculating and ever planning.
Revenant Ishara would turn lightly. The distinct wavelength of a person near, there arm upona sword of somekind. She turned about , knowing quit well where Cassandra was. Grinning that toothy grin and shaking her head. " Please....don't raise that sword to me...I don't want to hurt you ....For your own sake...turn about and leave. ". She said, in a rather relaxed state to Cassandra. Those golden hues, dancing with a brillant hue, all the while her ears perked straight up and that tail of hers would stop moving...
Flash_Guardian tears through the bushes and trees, hearing things in the woods right behind him in hot pursuit. Propelled along by his guilt, overtaken by fear ... again, due to his lost focus, he isn't able to keep his eyes in front of him ... next thing he knows, he's careened headlong into a tree with another loud crack, rebounding backward and falling to the ground, rubbing his head with his bloodied hand. Not much longer, and the others would be upon him now ... what a disgrace ...
Cassandra blinks knowing this woman out classed her in evey sence of the word but shook her head holding her ground she may be a young girl but she would not be easily intemadited "well thats funny becase i do want to hurt you but i think it cowedly not to give my oppent a chance to get there wepon so now is your chance and dont understmate becase i am so young" she said now just stading wating her body becoming relexerd she was calming herself she fought best when calm
Rhode appears over Flash to his right side with his large 6 foot sword drawn, holding it in his left hand. " Get up.... " He commanded, the sword glowing with dark energy as its form slowly shifted into a scythe...
Jaia-Asumoto turned about in the snow, her eyes now a blue, so cold and blazing that it appeared she had been driven into a frenzy. Her eyes turned from a glacier blue to a navy blue, looking dangerously close to black. However, despite her rage, she managed to keep control...her eyes locking onto Blue's own. "Lord Blue...I've been wrong about you for some time now. But, I've no choice but to ask you to relay this to Flash...if you might assist me to that end." she looked at Cassandra and then at Ishara. She shook her head softly and spat at the ground, "This place no longer stands for the virtues it once did. The only reason being is the lacking of self-confidence in its leader...Flash-san. I can only conclude that I can no longer find the peace that he once strove to protect and achieve. He has, dishonoured me...and spat on any respect I once held for him. I will move into self-exile...forthwith, and leave Redfang...until such time as Flash, realizes his mistake, and never...ever, let s his personal feelings get --
Viimz peers from his perch of safty in the outter planes down onto its play area.....its dark eyes narrowing at the sight Flash gives it...attetion going to the being giving commands narrowing somewhat as it takes its full attention
Revenant Ishara would blink to Cassandra..her chakra was still flowing about her and would shrug. She seemed determined little child that she seemed. Holding up her right index finger, pointing skywards and glancing to Cassandra. " ...Ok, lets see what ya got kid. I got my weapon. I have enough in this little finger of mine to combat ya. Lets go, littl'n.. ". Not mocking her , just stateing that she'd use her finger as a weapon. Circulating chakra though her right hands pores of her skin and making a rather, dense combination about her digits. She'd wait, and motion Cassandra forwards. Still standing in her own relaxed state. That one index finger, telling to come ....
Jaia-Asumoto -- in the way of the original purpose for this island. To those who are so blindly loyal to him, I hope one day they see logic...just as he should. But of Redfang, I will no long belong." bowing her head to the duke with surprising reverence she added, "I wished...I had not ignored you in the church, that while ago...Lord Blue. I see I've short changed myself of a formidable friend...just as I am doing now...with Flash." she turned from the bow, and made her way toward Ishara...but found her path barred by a female child. She frowned softly, and looked at Ishara. The child had courage...a sight she welcomed at last...as opposed to the weakness...she had to endure earlier on. Taking on a Revenant of the Amarancy. She would indeed learn a valuable lesson...so much was for sure. She folded her arms, and stepped back to allow Ishara...to demonstrate her ability. In her mind...she began to give up on finding the creature, Viimz...as it no longer...in her mind, threatened her friends.
Flash_Guardian rolls about on the ground, incoherent, Rhode's words little more than a muffled command to him. He blinks, seeing double ... two powerful blades up above him. Not sure what else he can do, he holds his arm up over himself, in some feeble measure of protection. "No ..."
Cassandra blinked scanning her she looked frustrated as she appared to be playing with her and then let out a battle cry as she ran at this woman thowing her Katana at her with all the might she could aiming for her leg but also keeps running at her jumping up swinging a kick aimed right for the side of her head
Rhode laughs some as he puts the scythe onto his back and holds out a hand to Flash. " Your just as the boy said, strong willed. "
[ClaudiusBlue ] The contrasting eyes had started to wander back to where Flash had been standing, his glare becoming more focused and intense than it had been. Within a sense, the man felt two difining things right now, a sickening mix of dissapointment and anger. It had not been for Flash that he felt these feelings, but rather he just did. Watching Flash run off like that had not been a treat to the eyes, the sight still leaving him with a sour aftertaste. "This..." A voice loosed in the manner of a deep growl. Jaia's voice had soon reached him, his attention shooting back to the lady swordsman. "Damn the chruch..." The thin line of his mouth curved downwards ever so slightly. "But I thank you for your encouraging words..." His posture started to become straighter now, more regal and suited to the position this man took office in. "I am loyal but a servant to no man any longer... I will speak to Flash on your behalf, Lady Jaia." His movements had become looser now, his body regaining the life it once had. ~c~
Serielle arrives on the scene, quite displeased at having been forced to bother with that much physical exertion. Her eyes narrowing, she swings her staff around to point at Rhode, screaming " Li K'uei! The Black Whirlwind! Thrust upon this outsider the force of your prevailing might! " , a powerful gust of wind blasting from the crystal atop the staff, aimed to shove Rhode away from Flash.
Revenant Ishara saw her as plain as day. She'd be coming, and no sooner had Cassandra forced her hand. The throwing of the Katana was feebl, and quite frankly , she'd swing her finger about. Condensed chakra already fully filling her finger. It would smack against the flat of the blade and make a recoil. Sending Ishara's hand back up as the katana would have spurred off some place in another directions. Within her moments of thought. She should teach this girl a lesson, of having to much courage. Ishara now upon the attack of a , kick to her head?. The wavelength of Cassandra muscles pulsated before she even acted...Mmyeah. Ishara would bend her head back lightly and as Cassandra, in her little flying moment. She would raise her right hand up, and be rightly in place of Cassandra' s backside. Sorry to say, She was way stronger then this little girl, and would have thrown her several football feilds away. With ligt pressure. Ishara would strike her right index finger in mid-air within Cassandra's buthole.
Flash_Guardian 's head rolls, eye coming dangerously close to closing. A dark red gash has opened up on his forehead, this being the second tree he's collided with in the last hour. Everything is just a blur as he fights to retain his consciousness.
Rhode simply smirked at the girls screaming of a spell. He thrusts a palm into her direction and the scythe on his back comes to life...but changes into sword form. " Death Wind " The Sword began to suck in the gust of wind aimed at Rhode, and nothing more...sure, he could have had it continue to suck untill Serielle would feel the effect..but he cut it off before it could do so. The sword returns to its owners back and he stares at Serielle, then to Flash, then back to Serielle. " Now really, was that necessary? "
Revenant Ishara Holding her there for a minute as her chakra would spread through Cassandra's cloths and into her pores. There in, Cassancdra would feel a rather, hurtfull pain in her rear for the next couple weeks as she would be shot off like a rocket acouple feet.....Hmmm, some punch her fingers had eh?
Serielle moves not an inch, her staff still steadily aimed at the stranger. She felt no fear at this moment...only the need to protect the connection. She would not see it severed by one such as him. Nor, would she bother to answer his question. "Step away from him. Now."
[Serielle ] " Now. "
Rhode smirks and throws his head back, blood stained teeth showing to her. " Heh....whatever.....I'm only here to tell this guy that this Valkrus kid is going to be here sometime today. Now I can leave... " He starts to walk away from them until he stops and turns around. " ....By the way....never attack me again....or else it will be the last attack of your life. " He starts walkign off agian and shimmers out of view......
Cassandra hitting the floor hard not being able to belive it she did not stand a chance that little skill always worked she layed there lookeing face down in so much pain she was thinking about using the one trupm card than smiled getting up slowly turning around "IM NOT DONE YET" she said angry and now realexing her body glowling blue "lets see if you can cope with my spirt energy" she now let it out a blue beam of light shot at the woman with the speed of a bullit this was the girls life essence its self
Flash_Guardian 's eyelids flutter, his head and knuckles still bleeding as he lays there in the snow. Curiously, he manages enough strength to roll over onto his side, bracing himself with an arm as he tries to stand.
[Little_Half~Breed_Kodora ] [ :sighs: ok i've calmed down. i ask forgive ness. i was waaaay outtah line>.Serielle commits a rather un-ladylike act, snorting derisively at the man's worthless threat. She would do whatever it took to protect Flash...and noticing the gash upon his forehead, she moves swiftly to his side, aiding him to his feet. Are you alright ?
Flash_Guardian gets hauled to his feet for the second time today. He stares at the ground now instead of looking up to Serielle. But curiously enough, she does recieve a response. Not visible, not verbal ... something felt only over the connection that is shared between the pair as Flash staggers to try and keep his feet under him.
[Flash_Guardian whispers to Serielle] Yes ... well, no. I mean, umm ... oh, for goodness sake! Something has happened, just now. Flash is ... well, I've lost him somehow! Oh dear, this is very weird ...
Revenant Ishara sighed..Cassandra still hadn't learned, after her but would be sore randy for the next cupple weeks. The sudden rise in this little girls essnce, meant nothing. All it was , was life energy. Which having enough time to mold throughout her body and chakra circulating through her right hand now. She'd Smack the said beam out of her line and off somewhere else, away from Jaia and blue as well so no one would get hurt. If it had worked at all. The chakra within her hand would act , much like a sheild, but ...made it more so to manipulate others or directions. She held out her palm, facing the girl named Cassandra...her chakra, transparent...would only make her sigh....yeesh.
Serielle glances oddly at Flash, her eyes widening in surprise. She looks about, before returning her gaze to him... ...Excuse me?
[ClaudiusBlue ] A contract between them had been set, the duke promising to speak to the keeper of the island on her behalf. The lady wrapped herself in such obscurity and mystery though, a person finding a way to speak on her behalf without merely repeating the words said proving to be quite a difficult and thought provoking process. Little more than a nod was given to the lady ronin, a pair of velveteen fingers and two silver plated talons clamping down upon the rim of his hat, snuggly and rightly fitting the cap upon his noble brow. The man had no form or new respect for the ex-samurai, only the same respect he had always considered her to be worthy of. The soles of his silver buckled shoes crunched softly into the snow, his attention falling back to the array of trees that covered the island. "Jaia..." Bold, firm, and bolstered was his tone now. "We will see each other again." The manner in which the duke spoke sounded dark and dangerous, but to her trained ear might sound more as certainty and nothing more.
Jaia-Asumoto watched Ishara make an example of the girl, and sighed gently as the girl attempted to attack again. She saw now that the child did not seem to grasp the logistics of the situation. She seemed to attack blindly without much thought for the consequences. She folded her arms, and stood there quietly before, looking up at Redfang Dojo. Symbol of all things, she had thought were possible here. No danger, no stupidity, total obedience, clarity, calm...All of it meant so little now, that she couldn't help but grimace. This place had become so morally corrupted, at least by standards...which were indeed, very high. However, her disappointment would not cloud her judgement, although it did alter it a little. She kept her arms folded, and began to walk past Ishara as Cassandra disappeared. She paused in her stride and looked back as Blue spoke, her own words echoing his tone, "We will. For better or for worse." turning again she smiled meekly at Ishara, before walking casually away, hoping Ishara would follow. --
[Flash_Guardian whispers to Serielle] Oh ... I'm terribly sorry, Miss Serielle. I'm doing my best to try and figure out what's happened here. It's been so crazy for so long! Right up until Flash hit his head on that tree just now, and then ... something clicked! Now he's gone, and I'm here ... oh, I haven't had control since that last time aboard the Triad when Flash and I were working to save Devaine from that microchip in his head ... that was kinda fun. But, oh! Here I am rambling on to you, and I'm laying here bleeding! My wounds should be attended to ...
Flash_Guardian 's head continues to roll. He appears to be very weak, still bleeding from his head and knuckles, and slightly unresponsive.
Serielle nods, agreeing with the odd...sensation, would it be? Regardless of this curiosity, his wounds did require attention. Summoning a simple healing charm, she passes a hand over his forehead,, watching with satisfaction as it slowly begins to mend itself, the flesh closing and binding once more.
[Flash_Guardian whispers to Serielle] The voice ... sounds like Flash ... but it's not quite him. It's different, somehow.
Jaia-Asumoto -- Her black kimono contrasted well with the colour of the snow, as she began to cross the land bridge, head bowed lightly, as if deep in some sort of contemplation. She moved at a pace, which reflected her mood...but as always, it was controlled. She looked back at Ishara, about half way across the land bridge...as she began to leave Redfang. For how long? Until it cleansed itself of the impurities that she had thought...would -never- find a home there. But it had. The corruption itself, found a place in Flash...the Island's very leader. Being, as proud as she was...she was offended, and somehow confused....but she kept herself contained, until she found herself on the mainland, Redfang...far behind her. Hopefully, what had happened today, would never come to pass again. If it did...there were going to be broken bones, and many bruised bodies...Jaia could only take so much. After today, that was obvious to anyone.
Flash_Guardian closes his eyes as the healing magic works over him, whimpering slightly and smiling, like a sick child being comforted by a warm blanket. Serielle can feel him over the connection still ... what she senses is extremely disturbed, completely different from the voice now speaking to her. While Flash's emotions are felt in her soul, the words are spoken rather through a bond to her mind.
[ClaudiusBlue ] The man had already dissapeared as Jaia turned, only a cold breeze taking the place of where he stood. The duke had said what he had to say, no more time had to be wasted on things that would only consume and waste what had to be accomplished. Everything flew past him, the worlds appearing to him distorted and yet strangely clear. What he was looking for... It was still here in the forest. A sudden gust of wind carried over where Serielle and Flash remained, a brief glimpse of the two taken by the bard as he passed them. A gathering of white powder rose high into the air, swirling and dancing at the whim of its master, Claudius Blue. "Serielle... Flash..." A voice echoed through the trees, a familiar and commanding tone. From the cloud of snowflakes, a single foot touched the ground, the man in Blue stepping from the foggy apparation with both eyes set squarely upon them. He could see it... The connection they shared, almost invisible the naked eyes but not entirely. "How is he?" Stepping forward.
[ClaudiusBlue ] *to the naked eye
[Flash_Guardian whispers to Serielle] Ahhh, yes. That's much better. Thank you Serielle. Thank you. Now I suppose we should find our way out of the storm, perhaps back to the dojo? I'll try to figure out more of what's happened on the way. The best I can tell for now is that Flash seems to have left of his own volition, leaving me here. Oh, I do hope I can manage to look after his body while he's out ... what am I saying? We need to find him, and get him back! Oh, this simply won't do ...
Revenant Ishara would shrugg, the little scamp had sprung off somewhere else. Pushing her hands within her pockets, and turning her head torwards Jaia, watching her start to walk off. She'd turn upon her heal and start walking off behind her. Rather casually she'd walk, until she felt the urge to Catch up to her. Which was about now. Crossing the land bridge with Jaia...riasing a brow, and watching her. She still seemed in a bad mood.. Smiling as Jaia would have looked back at her. Walking up and grinning " Aye, lets go home. A'right..? "...remebering that little cottage , smiling.
Serielle glances curiously to Claudius, but she thinks nothing of the strangeness of his arrival. She had odd methods of her own...."He's alright...his forehead is healing nicely...but...it's not him in there...something else is speaking to me...reaching out..." she simply shakes her head, confused as to the meaning of all of this.
Flash_Guardian rolls his head upward within Serielle's embrace, half closed eyes looking straight at Blue, though not with any sense of recognition. Just looking, his mouth hanging slack. Not much longer before his gaze turns away, looking back down to the ground solemnly. Not a word is spoken by him.
[Flash_Guardian whispers to Serielle] I am terribly sorry, Lady Serielle. I assure you, this is just as confusing for me as it is for you. I am doing my best, though, you can be assured. A slight pause. Oh, yes. There he is ... he's retreating into himself. Oh, this is no good!
Serielle 's attention quickly turns right back to Flash. Well then STOP him for goodness' sake. I'll not let him do this... "
[Flash_Guardian whispers to Serielle] I am trying, Miss Serielle, but he's being very persistent and it's difficult to get anywhere near him ... he's closing off contact with everything outside, even me! Please, give me a moment, I'll do my best.
[ClaudiusBlue ] One black hand was raised high into the air, his index finger stretched out. With this, the carefully crafted ice crystals would cease falling for a short while, the snow becoming distracting and somewhat of an annoyance to its lord. It was something else? The duke could only continue with approach, showing not a hint of surprise, concern, or curiousity over his features. How odd that worked out for him... The man dressed in blue had been considers eccentric if not insane for the most of his life, the duke seen within the same way. "Someone else?" Both knees touched the ground with a soft crunch, the bard kneeling next to his friend and his caretaker. A quiet moment of thought now, silence to consider the situation. "Serielle." His attention quickly shifted to her, his gaze cold and determined. "Tell me what he says." It could be through speech or through words, even by magic. It did not matter how she conveyed them to her so long as he could find a way to understand what it was.
Flash_Guardian 's movements gradually slow, becoming more and more slothful, until eventually he just ... stops. Limp and lifeless, though he manages at least to retain his footing so that Serielle is not burdened with his entire weight. His eyes glaze over, gone.
[Flash_Guardian whispers to Serielle] Blast it all! I can't follow him now ... his mental defenses are too strong. Oh, if only I were a bit stronger! Another pause. I am sorry, my lady. I gave it my best, as I said, but there was nothing I could do. I can't reach him now.
Serielle nods...and it's as if a second...much weaker, more wavering bond forms between Sir Claudius and Serielle...thoughts begin to pass not just between Flash and Serielle, but through Serielle and on to Claudius.
[ClaudiusBlue ] Both eyes closed as he concentrated, a message starting to become revealed in his mind... Flash's voice echoed, echoed what he pleaded to his lady. Gold and blue soon focused upon Flash, staring deeply and thoughtfully through him although nothing would be seen what was to be seen. "Really..." A hushed whisper not to the pair but to the bard instead, the duke's voice carrying a tinge of secrecy. "This is interesting, is it not?" His gaze slowly turned back to Serielle now, a slight grin replacing the somber frown on his pale face. "We shall have to meet this person." That said, both knuckles pressed into the ground as his slender arms pushed his form back up, the tip of his golden moustache clenched between two black fingers. "Very interesting indeed..." The man's voice seemed to drift again, the target of those words unknown. "Serielle... Seek me out when Flash is well. We would like to have a word with him." An invitation? A suggestion? It sounded more powerful than either.
[ClaudiusBlue ] *but what was to be seen.
Serielle nods to Claudius, hoping this to be a sign of his departure. For one...she was made...slightly uncomfortable by this completely different behavior by Sir Claudius...but more importantly...she didn't wish for him to see what might come next...
[Flash_Guardian ] The voice, whether Blue is still connected or not, speaks once more. Alright ... Flash seems to have left the controls dormant. If I can just resettle ... And then, Flash's head perks upright almost instantly. There! Pardon, miss, this should only take me a moment to get readjusted ...
[ClaudiusBlue ] It could be felt, her unease... The man had been trained to seek this feeling our either to fuel it with fear or to dispell it with encouragement. All such things seemed so amusing now, although that amusement did breed a small feeling of guilt and the rebuke of the bard, causing the duke's grin to quickly fall away. There was no more excitement to be seen on him, only the same plain, eerie stare as before. "Silence..." A whisper given as he turned to the side, sounding as if he spoke to himself. "Serielle..." Only one blue eye looked to her now, the eyes of Claudius Mathus. "Do not dissapoint me..." With the snap of metal against metal, he vanished and the snow started to fall once more as if he had never been there to halt it. But Flash's voice did echo one more time as he vanished from view, peeking the inquisitve nature of the bard. What was this? Who was this? A mystery, a poser, a riddle for him to solve. The man wanted to speak to Flash and Serielle, but that would have to wait until next time.
Flash_Guardian seems to move each part of him, one after the other in a slight movement until each muscle has had its chance ... and then he straightens somewhat, breathing a sigh of relief as his face actually takes on some semblance of sanity, something it has not seen for many days now. Indeed, in contrast to before, his face now is almost emotionless. Almost. He turns his head to look to Serielle now, a look filled with sorrow. "I have reasserted myself for now," Flash says to her. In his eyes, there is stability that once was not ... and a reassuring smile. "Don't worry. We'll find a way to work things out." Followed by a less reassuring smile. "I hope ..."
Serielle sighs, just baffled, and as she thinks of it...in need of some sleep. "Look...whatever you are...let's get back to the dojo...I need some rest, and I'm sure you could use some time alone to...readjust. Shall we?"
Flash_Guardian feels a tinge of sadness at being addressed in such a manner, frowning ever so slightly. But he nods at the lady's words. "Indeed, that would seem best. But please ... call me Flash. That is my name, you know." A halfway decent smile is given before waving a hand at the woman. "Oh! Not that I'm your Flash. I'm a different Flash," he tries to explain, his hands making motions to indicate the two separate beings. He quickly facefaults, drooping and shaking his head. "That didn't make any sense to you, did it?" he says, biting his lip and looking to Serielle now.
