Bida sits on a bench in her garden, playing her flute, and looking at a small red bead on her lap.
Flash_Guardian walks into the dimly lit garden, paying more attention to his feet than the path he is walking, as he is still getting used to his new outfit. He hears sweet music coming from somewhere up ahead, drawing his attention away from himself to the flute player's origin. Quickening his pace, he quickly finds Bida seated on a bench nearby, smiles, and walks cheerfully over to her. He doesn't want to interrupt, so he stands several feet away and just listens and waits.
Bida smiles through her music as her necklace begins to glow
Gaven *a black wolf pads into the garden, and lays down in the shade of a small tree, his blood red eyes watching the angel play her flute*
Bida stops playing and looks up at Flash, "Hi."
Flash_Guardian smiles at Bida as his own necklace begins to glow. After the music stops, he gives her a tender hug about her shoulders and kisses her ear before seating himself next to her. "I always did love hearing you play," he says nostalgically.
Bida blushes, "I'm not that good. My sister always was, but I'm barely proficient." She forces a smile as she leans against his shoulder.
Gaven raises his head at the stranger speaking. His eyes narrow as he watches the two on the bench.
Flash_Guardian shakes his head, chuckling at Bida. "You always say that," he says, leaning over to give her a soft bump of protest. "I still say you're better than I am."
Bida turns to kiss him, then stops and stands, looking around, her wings quivering slightly
Gaven lays his head down and pulls himself into the shadows as much as possible
Flash_Guardian had quickly learned to trust Bida's finely tuned senses. The smile fades to a look of worry as he quickly stands and watches her. "What is it?" he asks, glancing around at the garden nearby, seeing nothing out of the ordinary.
Bida looks at some leaves that appear to be moving, but shrugs it off, seeing nothing, "just my imagination I guess. I've been very jumpy since we decided to. . . you know." she hugs herself to try to chase away the shivers
Bida is shivering, and seems to acting badly at being afraid. She hoped Flash doesn't notice.
Flash_Guardian nods solemnly, giving his love a reassuring embrace. "Your fears are deserved," he says softly, cradling her head atop his powerful shoulder. "It's better than being caught unawares, anyway," he says with a chuckle.
Bida sighs, "i suppose."
Gaven stands and pads softly out of the shadows, his eyes trained on the hugging couple.
Gaven *the wolf's eyes begin to glow as his fur begins to pull back off his body as his form changes to that of a tall man. The fur forms two large dragon wings, still covered in the wolf fur. His eyes stop glowing and change to a dark brown/black color, as his hair grows black on his head. His face seems to melt down to a handsom human face, his body tall and muscular, and covered by a black button-up shirt, black pants, and dark boots.*
Flash_Guardian breaks from her, looking into Bida's face encouragingly. "Hey," he says, putting his hands on his hips. "It's not like we're the most defenseless couple on the face of the earth. You are an angel, after all, and I am an avatar." He smirks cockily, not noticing the man who had just transformed behind him. "Let them come. We'll be ready."
Bida 's mouth opens in surprise, looking over Flash's shoulder. She whispers almost soundlessly, "gaven. . ."
Gaven slowly smiles his dark cruel smile
Flash_Guardian folds his arms, a confident smile on his face ... which quickly melts to a look of tension. He slowly turns his head around to look, his eyes darting to their corners.
Gaven stands about 15 feet from the couple and extends one hand, "Bida."
Bida steps beside Flash, and stares at the man with wings, the one she called Gaven.
Flash_Guardian decides quickly that he does not like the looks of this man at all. He turns to face the man, standing beside Bida protectively. He leans over, whispering to Bida in a language he hoped that Bida would understand and the dark figure would not, using the ancient tongue of the angels. "Who is this person?"
Bida says in a whisper in standard tongue, "Gaven." She begins to walk to him, her dress fading to black with blood red edges. Her sword and scabbard changed in time with her dress.
Gaven asks "I am Gaven. I think the real question, however, is who are you, avatar?"
Flash_Guardian stays just a step behind her, approaching Gaven cautiously.
Flash_Guardian nods briefly to the man, looking no less suspicious. "I am Flash," he quickly replies. He glances between Bida and Gaven. "I take it you two have already met?"
Bida faces Flash, "Stay here, Benjamin." Her voice has changed, and denotes a spirit with a lust for death
Flash_Guardian seems slightly surprised, looking at his love with wide eyes. "I won't leave you," he argues tentatively.
Gaven chuckles softly
Bida narrows her eyes, "please, stay back. You have been warned." She walks to Gaven and accepts his hand.
Gaven looks into Bida's eyes, "it's been a lifetime, my love" he kissed her deeply
Bida says "hundreds of lifetimes" and wraps her arms around him
Flash_Guardian made a sickly noise, as if he had just been rammed in stomach by an ogre's fist. His eyes went large, and he couldn't help but stumble backward in shock. He stood watching helplessly, his mind desperately trying to rationalize what it was percieving.
Bida breaks the kiss and looks at Gaven, a bloodlust she hadn't felt this strongly in a hundred years lit up her eyes. She looked to Flash her eyes wide and one brow raised, as though she were trying to give him a message. She hoped Gaven wouldn't see.
Gaven smiles at Bida, glad to see the old want to kill back in her eyes. He followed her gaze to the other man his smile dropping, "So, who are you? Bida's new slave? lover? friend? She doesn't make friends."
Flash_Guardian 's eyes connected with Bida's ... though she almost looked for all the world to be a different person at the moment, he saw something familiar in that gaze of hers. His mind now wrestled with the decision of whether it was a good kind of familiarity or not. He looked back to this man, this horrible wretched man who dared to call himself Bida's love, for some reason unable to respond. His voice struggled to find words, and when they finally came, they were not quite what he was expecting. "Stay away from her."
Bida now looks at Flash pleadingly, still hoping Gaven doesn't look at her, "no love, he's Benjamin, my old target, before I was cast out of heaven. He killed me, and put me back, so that I could find you, and hand deliver him to you."
Gaven laughs at the mans words, then nods at Bida's, he turns to kiss her again, catching a fleeting glimpse of her old human emotion on her face.
Bida quickly drops her expression, and kisses Gaven briefly. She stands beside him, one hand resting on the hilt of her sword.
Flash_Guardian began to breathe faster, staggering backward slightly. "No ..." he spoke on his breath, shaking his head. Then he took another step backward. And another.
Bida walks to Flash and seems to kiss him on the cheek, but only slightly brushes her lips against his face. She whispers so that Gaven cannot hear, "I love you, Benjamin, and I always will." She walks backwards to Gaven, her eyes glinting, "It was nice knowing you, Benjamin." Her necklace glowed warmly
Gaven puts one arm around Bida's shoulder, "so, your name is Benjamin. . . did she ever call you Ben? nevermind. I do not care." he pointed towards Flash, sending a small jet of flames in his direction.
Bida smiles lightly at the flames
Flash_Guardian closed his eyes as Bida whispered to him, still breathing quickly from the tenseness of the situation. He wanted to trust his love more than anything ... hearing her words and seeing her pendant glow gave him his reason. He regained his determination ... and just in time too, as a blast of flames was sent in his direction. He quickly kicked and backpedalled off the ground, spinning off to his right to avoid the blast, whirling around and brings his hands up in an informal martial arts stance, eyes burning and nostrils flared. He was ready.
Gaven spreads his own wings and takes off for the cliffs, a place he preferred to a forest enclosed garden.
Bida draws her sword and follows gaven, with barely a backwards glance at Flash.
Flash_Guardian narrows his eyes, shading them with his hand as he watched Gaven and Bida take off. "This isn't over ..." he mutters to himself, quickly swirling his hands about in the air and gathering magical energy for a spell. "It's only just begun." He quickly brings his palms flat against his chest, and the same red-feathered wings sprout from his back beneath his cape. He leaps off the ground and follows them.
* * * ((Later, atop the high cliffs ...)) * * *
Bida lands beside Gaven, on the edge of the cliff, and watches a pair of bright red wings approach, carrying Flash
Flash_Guardian flies through the air, not as gracefully as perhaps the other two natural fliers, but he managed to find his way back to the ground. He decided to keep the wings for now, knowing that at least they helped to level the playing field.
Gaven watches the sky for the man's approach, smiling slightly, looking as though he'd rather take a bite out of someone than give them the time of day.
Bida takes a step towards Flash, her sword drawn, she shakes her head, stopping the step half way
Gaven raises an eyebrow at Bida, but shrugs, figuring she was just keeping him at bay.
Flash_Guardian stood, staring at the pair before him, sizing up the situation. "So," he said calmly. "Here we are, after all this time." Despite his seeming outward calm, his knuckles were clenched at his sides. He glares past Bida at Gaven, staring unceasingly and waiting for something.
Gaven laughs for a moment, "What do you expect to do, boy? You have just been betrayed by one you have been in love with for over a millenia, and you lost her to me! Pure evil! there is no competition. A black heart wants a black heart, not a white knight in shining armor."
Bida glares at Flash, stepping directly infront of his gaze, "I'd tell you to go home, benjamin, but we're on a mission. Someone here is going to die." She nods and points her sword at Flash, hoping he'd understand her message.
Flash_Guardian huffs back at Gaven unwaveringly. "You have no idea who you're dealing with, do you?" he says, scoffing and shaking his head. "Knight in shining armor," he mutters to himself, chuckling, looking back to Bida with a look of understanding. He then sneered back at Gaven. "We all have a darker side. Some of us just happen to be more willing to embrace it than others."
Gaven spreads his furry wings wide and growls, "I care not whith whom I deal. I want you dead, and Dead you shall be before the next sun rises! COME AND MEET YOUR DEATH, BOY!"
Bida takes her sword in both hands, and takes a fighting stance, spinning to face Gaven. Her wings spread open as her clothes flashed back to pure white, and her sword back to one worthy of an angel rather than a demon, "It won't be Ben meeting his death today, Gaven."
Flash_Guardian smiled at Bida's sudden turn. "I have seen my death," he spoke to Gaven. "And it isn't you." Not wasting another moment, he sped forward, leaping up into the air at Gavens side, diving down foot first at his chest.
Gaven snarls at Bida, and lunges under Flash's foot at her, barely getting clipped on the heel. He grabbed at her sword, and tugged, cutting himself.
Bida is pulled forwards as her sword is wrenched from her grip, she tries to grab at it again.
Gaven grabs at Bida's soft white throat to pull her to him.
Bida flinches at the black blood covered hand now encircling her throat, and kicks at Gavens gut with one foot, groin with the other.
Gaven blocks the groin shot, but stumbles back, Bida still in hand, from the stomache shot. "No one Turns on ME!"
Bida yells as she is lurched towards the cliff edge, "AAHHH!!(girly screech, in case you were wondering) Ben! Take my sword!"
Flash_Guardian dashes forward, attempting to grab Gaven's sword hand by the wrist with his right hand and squeeze tightly, hoping to pinch the sword from his grip.
Gaven heats up the sword with a sudden burst of flame, then drops it, reaching to wrap around one of Bida's wings
Bida screams as her wing is pulled on. Removing an angel's wings will make him/her mortal, with no chance of returning to heaven, even after death. They will remain on earth as a ghost.
Flash_Guardian watches as the sword drops to the ground, wreathed in the flames conjured by Gaven. But the sword wasn't his current objective at the moment. Pulling Gaven's wrist in closer to him, he raises an elbow, bringing it down fiercely upon Gaven's arm, attempting to snap the bone.
Gaven releases his grip on Bida's throat and spins trying to slam Flash in the chest with his arm/fist. He was now dangling her over the edge of the cliff by her wing..
Bida desperately tries to flap her wings, but only succeeds in snapping the bone in the wing Gaven was holding. Screaming, she resorted to normal escape attempts, hoping he doesn't drop her.
Gaven stumbles halfway through the spin
Flash_Guardian looses his footing as his grip on Gaven's arm is loosened, then cries out as he gets hammered by Gaven's spinning fist, sending him flying head over heels toward the cliff, wings out. He quickly manages to grab hold of the cliff face so as to keep him from tumbling over the side, but is now hanging by his fingertips, his ribs badly bruised.
Bida screams and tries to flap her wings again, "BEN!!"
Gaven throws Bida behind him, in the direction of a very large rock.
Bida sails through the air slamming into a stone, "b. . .ben." she falls unconcious. (spelling?)
Gaven walks to the edge of the cliff where Flash was hanging, "well, well, well. Your little angel friend is out, you're hanging off of a cliff. What am I to do?"
Flash_Guardian struggled to hold himself up as the rock began to collapse under his foot. His right hand seems to slip and fall to his side, dangling dangerously in the open air. Flash looks down at his arm in panic, then looks back up at Gaven looming over him. Flash hopes that he doesn't see a small flicker of light come from his dangling right hand ...
Gaven rubs his hands together, creating friction for a large flame spell. he opens both palms to Flash as they begin to glow a dangerous red/orange color.
Bida begins to stir slightly and opens her eyes. Her sword is lying just out of her reach, and both of her wings are broken and bleeding.
Gaven "what are you going to do now, boy?"
Flash_Guardian quickly swings to one side with his feet, and then the other, releasing his grip on the rock to swing sideways off of the cliff face through the air, pumping his red wings rapidly to gain as much altitude as he can.
Gaven smells pure silver angel blood, and turns away from the cliff for a moment to look. He sees her open her eyes, and turns to direct his blast at her
Bida tries to sit up, her head spinning and unable to focus her eyes.
Flash_Guardian watches in horror as Gaven turns to blast Bida ... unable to think of anything else to do, he quickly dives in front of the blast, wings spread wide and shielding his face with his arms.
Bida shakes her head to clear it, just in time to see Flash, her beloved, about to get fried. She dove forwards, trying to grab his ankle to yank him to the ground, knowing that Once the spell is ready, Gaven could not re-aim. He would have to either blast the rock or cancel his spell. . . she hoped.
Gaven is almost finished with the spell, only to be blocked by Flash, he stumbles back for a moment, concentrating on the last few words, as he sees Bida dive forwards.
Flash_Guardian gets yanked down to the ground, slamming to the floor roughly and getting dragged along by his momentum for a few feet. "Unh!"
Gaven releaes the spell half a moment too late, and shatters the rock bida was thrown against, leaving nothing but a few small pebbles and a lot of dust.
Bida screams at the sound and force of the blast, her hand still holding tight to Flash's ankle, her wings still throbbing and bleeding
Flash_Guardian hadn't expected that ... he groans, slowly rolling onto his back and moving his right arm out straight, grimacing and looking at it. Perhaps it had been injured in his landing ... perhaps he was trying to orient himself ... or perhaps he was reaching out for something ...
Bida 's grip on his anke is getting weaker, and the shock of tackeling Flash almost knocked her out again.
Gaven watched Flash stretch his arm, and readied a simple spell.
Flash_Guardian seems to be manipulating something with his hand, then gives a half smile of accomplishment. Bida's sword, nearby, begins to twitch slightly, then slides across the ground quickly into Flash's outstretched right hand.
Bida 's dress fades to grey with blood red edges. She woke slowly, and stood, wincing at the pain in her limp wings. She walked straight towards Gaven unable to see Flash, her eyes narrowed, and glowing a deep red.
Gaven watches Flash call Bida's sword to him, knowing that he probably knew how to handle an angel/demon sword. He watched Bida, hiding fear in his eyes, "I remember this. . ." he whispered, pointing the spell at Bida.
Bida is hit by Gaven's fire, but seems unharmed. She continues her slow walk towards him.
Flash_Guardian doesn't even bother to get up. He hurls the sword at Gaven's spell arm as he is casting, its aim guided by Flash's accuracy as well as the meager telekinesis that had brought it to him in the first place.
Gaven screams as his flames are cut short and his hand falls to the ground in front of him, twitching.
Gaven kicks the sword towards the edge of the cliff and aimed a punch at Flash's face
Bida raises her hand to the sword, stopping it before it fell off the edge and calling it back to her. She held it in her hand, her silver blood running from so many different areas it wasn't even funny. She didn't seem to notice though, as her eyes glowed brighter as the sword came to her hand. Her wings began to fade to black, as her need to kill was awakening once again. She stopped moving an equal distance from each of the men, her eyes darting back and forth between them.
Flash_Guardian tucks his wings and rolls sideways to evade the punch, coming to a rest on all fours a few feet away, glaring at Gaven, and watching Bida closely. He wasn't sure how to react just yet, so he watched and waited.
Gaven stops mid-punch, not noticing that Flash moved away. His eyes trained on Bida, and he saw her wings change color, back to the black they were when she would kill for him. He began to smile.
Flash_Guardian gets a sudden inspiration, and brings a hand to clasp around his amethyst pendant, focussing intently. It begins to glow ...
Bida says in a demonic/posessed voice her eyes on Gaven, "why do you smile?" She turned to look at Flash, and began to walk towards him.
Gaven 's smile drops slightly, but stays on his face. He sees the necklace around Bida's throat begin to glow as she nears him.
Bida feels the warmth of the stone around her neck, and stops in front of Flash, "Goodbye," she whispered
Gaven grins widely again, knowing full well she could kill him easily, but he didn't think she would.
Flash_Guardian sat quietly, holding his necklace and thinking of all the wonderful memories he had, thoughts of Bida and their love for each other flooding his mind. He needed to remember them, those were the things he needed to believe in.
Bida raises the sword in both hands, preparing to strike, her dress black with red edging, and her wings black. She was covered in little streams of her silver blood.
Gaven stood up straight, and used a simple flame to cauterize his stump.
Bida spun on her heel, taking the sword down towards Gaven's head
Gaven dives out of the way, but takes the blade in the small of his back. He feels his spine break under the slice and lands hard on the ground. He rolls over so that the black blood begins to pool beneath him.
Gaven growls, "Bida, you traitor. May you burn in hell. . ."
Bida 's eyes clear, then glaze over. her grip loosens on her sword, and it fell to the ground. Her knees buckled and she fell.
Flash_Guardian stands slowly. The deed was done, and Bida had chosen him. This made him smile somewhat, but something still nagged at him that would not be denied. Striding casually over to the fallen form of Gaven, Flash grabs at the man's neck. Flash closes his eyes, inhaling deeply, and a white sort of glow envelops his hand, providing Gaven with just enough energy to keep him at the brink of death, but not dead yet.
Gaven snarls at Flash, "What the hell do you want. just kill me."
Flash_Guardian burns a hole into the man's face with his sharp gaze, a frown of anger clouding his face. "I just wanna know one thing ... why? Why kill me? I mean, I realize that I've made plenty of enemies in my long line of work, but ..." He shakes his head. "I take my work personally. So, why?" he says, giving the man a shake, his hand still glowing white.
Bida lands on her knees, and smiles weakly at Flash, then falls on her side. She could barely stay awake, but she knew she had to.
Gaven spits at Flash's feet. "I don't like you. You help who I hate. If I can hinder them, then I gain another point."
Bida coughs then says, "it was a game."
Gaven tries to hit Flash with his stump
Flash_Guardian turns to look at Bida, confused, the hatred still plain on his face, though not directed at her. Without even looking away, he intercepts Gaven's stump with his free hand, slowly increasing the pressure of his grip upon it.
Gaven grimaces in pain, but makes no sound.
Flash_Guardian directs his voice back to Gaven. "Wait your turn."
Bida takes a deep breath and tries to sit up, failing. "the more of Gaven's that were stopped by someone you helped many years ago, the more points that person got. The more of that person's people Gaven stopped, the more points he got. It was a sadistic game. Taking me out of the game by expelling me from heaven hurt Gaven's points, but if you died, Gaven would gain all of those points back, and he'd get double if I killed you." She grimaced and coughed, blood began to trickle out of her mouth
Gaven screamed at Bida, "FUCKING ANGEL!"
Flash_Guardian turned to look back at Gaven, a sinister expression on his face. He didn't have to kill Gaven, Bida had already accomplished that one. All he had to do was withdraw his healing energy, and Gaven's light would be extinguished. He harumphed, giving Gaven one good last glare, before taking his healing hand away from Gaven's neck, letting him drop lifelessly to the ground. "Game over. You lose."
Gaven takes in one more breath, "You've not seen the last of me." His head rolls to the side as his eyes roll back, shoeing only whites. Gaven was dead. For now. . .
Andarthiel enters the rather beautiful area of the Ocean Cliffs. He spots the rather dying pair Gaven and Bida and of course the ever sinister Flash_Guardian. He walks over and stands next to him "Well, quite a catch I would say." he laughs.
Bida coughs up a little more blood, and tried again to sit up, her conciousness fading in and out, "Benajmin? I'm so sorry"
Flash_Guardian didn't waste another moment, quickly scrambling to Bida's side, his face suddenly stricken with worry as he assessed her injured wing.
Flash_Guardian risks no more than a brief glance in Andarthiel's direction, not wishing to be distracted.
Andarthiel galnces at the badly wounded Bida. "I could heal her if you wish?" he suggested "She will be right as rain"
Bida grimaces, and tries to smile at Flash, "Thanks." ((both wings are broken, but still attached, fortunately, and I'm cut and bleeding in several places. I may have a concussion))
Gaven 's body lays motionless, as his spirit leaves his body. . . For now.
Flash_Guardian quickly manuevers himself to a kneeling position, then closes his eyes in deep concentration, splaying his flat, open palms out in front of him. He breathes deeply, and a soft white glow now envelops both of his hands. Laying his hands gently upon Bida's wings, at last he exhales, releasing the white light into the damaged parts. The light is soothing and warm, spreading throughout Bida's body, all at once calming the pain, mending the broken bones and flesh anew. Flash opens his eyes, taking his hands away to inspect the previously wounded areas, seeming slightly woozy.
Bida closes her eyes, as her necklace begins to glow. She knew that this would weaken him, and she focused all of her thoughts on him, to help him to be ok.
Flash_Guardian saw that his love was much better now, though the broken wings would still need some time to heal. Healing energy can only do so much. He fell suddenly sideways, managing to fall lightly against Bida. He looked back up at Andarthiel, managing a faint shake of his head. "That ... won't be ... necessary ... thank you," he told the stranger, eyes half open.
Bida notices the elven stranger for the first time
Andarthiel raised his hand to the sky outstretched. He chanted a few quiet words. Within seconds a warm glow surrounded him and the other two around him. This would cure fatigue and wounds of all sorts. He smiled and lowered his hands.
Bida sits up, wincing slightly, and turns carefully, helping Flash to lay his head on one knee. She looks at the stranger, her eyes narrowed, She would have trouble trusting anyone after this.
Bida asks, "who the hell are you?" words that would normally not exit an angel's mouth.
Flash_Guardian seemed to be much better, thanks to Bida's warming thoughts and Andarthiels restorative magics. He rests calmly against the knee (mine or yours, Bida?), staring up at the stranger.
Bida looks at Flash, and smiled, then returned her eyes, hard and cold again to the stranger.
Bida 's wings and dress fade back to white, as she says, "Thank you for what you have done, but who the hell are you?"
Flash_Guardian seems to be a bit startled by Bida's choice of words, but looks up at the dark elf in curiosity. He had nothing to say that Bida already hadn't ... in her own way.
Andarthiel bowed "I am Andarthiel Silverscar, , demigod, elf and guardian. Please do not be discomforted on my account. I have no reason to harm anyone unless I feel that I am being threatened or I feel that tha person is impsing threat upon others. It is the code of the guardian."
Bida stands slowly, and helps Flash to sit up, and returns the bow, her newly healed pure white wings spread impressively, "I am Bida. I offer no threat, and I thank you again for helping us."
Flash_Guardian seems suddenly attentive at Andarthiel's words, his interest piqued. "Yes, thank you," he says, nodding his head politely. "Demigod, eh? And a guardian to boot," he grinned. "I am Flash. I serve the lord Chen, god of Fate and Time, as his avatar," he explained, adding with a grin, "or as we are sometimes called, guardians."
Bida folds her wings halfway, and kneels beside Flash, "Why are you here?" She asks him, a strange feeling in her belly. She had prayed while hanging over the cliff.
Flash_Guardian doesn't seem to mind that the stranger seemed to have vanished ... though if their paths ever crossed again he would have to further his discussion with him. Turning back to Bida, he gave her a careful sort of embrace, running a hand down her back. "Come on," he said. "Let's get out of here, and get cleaned up. I think we've earned a bit of a break," he says with a grin.
Bida stifles a giggle as he strokes one spot where she is ticklish, then stands and extends a hand to him
Bida kisses Flash, then leans her head against him for a moment "i Love you ben." She walked towards the edge of the cliff and spread her wings, a playful glint in her eyes.
Flash_Guardian mentally notes the ticklish spot for later, knowing that it might get him out of a bind. He smiles, returning the kiss, and watches as Bida makes her way to the cliff. He glances back to the corpse of Gaven on the ground nearby, a sudden thought crossing his mind. He puts his fists together at the side of his hip, gathering a reddish energy between his hands. His fists quickly open, streaking forward in a dragon punch, shooting forth a tiny reddish bead which proceeds to hover over Gaven's body, glowing a malicious red. Looking back to Bida, he smirks and chases her off the edge of the cliff, spreading his own wings to catch the wind as he leaps.
Bida streaks downward, and back to her garden, hoping she never meets Gaven under these same circumstances again, although she knew she'd again cross his path.
[Flash_Guardian] Flash wings after Bida, happy to be leaving the place, and even happier for another chance to fly with the one he loves. A few moments afterward, a violent fiery explosion rocks the top of the cliff, sending debris and rubble flying and engulfing Gaven's corpse in intense flames. Flash muttered under his breath, an old latin phrase that suddenly came to his mind. "Amor vincit omnia." Love conquers all.
Bida looks back at the explosion, and at her beloved flying swiftly towards her.
Bida ** she knew that Gaven would return either way, but she'd be ready next time. . . if she could remember what happened this time.
