Flash_Guardian walks up to the base of the tower, and looks up to its top. He hoped the stairs would not be too long and tiring ...

PhorenNarqu flew to the top of the tower, perching upon a parapet, waiting

WinterWalker begins his ascent up the spiraling stairs of the tower, not taking one moment to rest on his way up. Apparently, the blessing he had recieved had given him a little more endurance to perform what tasks needed to be done. Opening the overhead hatch, he steps onto the roof and nods to the Raven.

PhorenNarqu dipped his head a little at Blue, remaining perched there

Flash_Guardian follows Blue up the stairs and onto the roof. A chill wind greeted the thinly dressed lad as he stepped out onto the dry stone.

Flash_Guardian looks around at the other two. "Well, I'm not sure what else to say," he says awkwardly. "Just try not to look directly at the blast." He stops, then adds. "Or be startled by the distorted surroundings. .... or get hit by the lightning blasts ... or ..." Finally, Flash just sighs in frustration, shaking his head.

WinterWalker holds the door open for Flash and closes it after he passes. "Well, I shall get ready then." Walking over to the edge of the tower's summet, he removes a number of items from his bag; A container of silver ink, a bottle of spring water, and a small book. "What is it you plan to do again Sir Flash?"

PhorenNarqu nodded at Flash a little, flying a little further away, to perch upon one of the crenallations, at the east side of the building, ready to fly down to the wall beneath if neccesary

Flash_Guardian tips his head to one side, thinking. "I suppose the easiest way to think of it is as a sort of magical ritual," he says. "I proceed through the incantation in several necessary steps, all culminating in one final reaction," he says, gesturing forward in a two handed punch to demonstrate.

Flash_Guardian continues. "It takes quite a bit of time to pull off the maneuver, so I'm afraid you'll need a bit of patience. You'll know when it's over."

WinterWalker gives a quick bow of his head to show that he understands. "Worry not. I will wait for you to finish with the utmost patience." He turns his view to Phoren before looking back to Flash, tucking both of his hands within the confines of his sleeves.

Flash_Guardian nods to Blue, nervously preparing himself. He steadies himself, legs spread shoulder width apart, his fists at his sides. He takes a deep calming breath, ever so slowly bringing his hands out and in front of him until his arms are locked straight with his wrists touching. Splaying his fingers outward, he begins the ritual with but a word. "Flash's ..." Strong white lights begin to flicker and shine, surrounding flash with dazzling bursts of eerie white light, blinding any direct onlookers.

WinterWalker turns away slightly with eyes half closed, not takinghis attention away from Flash's display.

Flash_Guardian begins to hover up off the ground, his feet losing contact with the stone underneath him. The same blinking lights that surround him now shine forth from his eyes, and the crackling white energy begins swirling about Flash's floating form in a vortex of light. "Astral," he utters, the image of his form seeming to blink and waver for a brief moment as the brilliant mana continues to surge around him.

Sasha_Seruka entered and ran up to Blue..." BLUE!!"

PhorenNarqu cawed loudly, flying back a little, and watching from there, keeping himself in the air

WinterWalker raises one hand to shield his eyes and looks over to Sasha, "Lady Sasha, please be careful!" He waves one hand to motion her over to him, "Sir Flash is performing a powerful ritual! What can I help you with?" he asks.

Sasha_Seruka hugged him and smiled.." whats going on?"

Flash_Guardian brings both of his arms out to his sides, fingers out flat and wrists bent downward. "Cosmic," he calls as his hands begin to pulsate with a steadily growing white energy. The energy gathers into two intense spheres of brilliant power that surround his hands. Flicking his wrists out straight, the spheres of light move to his sides and split, two shining orbs becoming four glaring white circles which begin to revolve around him in a tight sort of orbit. The air around Flash seems to shift and waver, like hot air over the desert.

WinterWalker returns her hug, "He is testing one of his abilties. Practicing I suppose you could call it. What brings you here?"

Sasha_Seruka perked her ears up at Blue.."i asked if i could join you's on your journey so here i am..

WinterWalker smiles, "That's right! I'm am glad to see you again." He glances to his clothes, "What do you think?" he asks. (Profile Update)

Flash_Guardian speaks again, a bit more loudly this time. "Thunder," he invokes, and the orbitting spheres begin to pick up speed, whirling faster. A loud crackling noise fills the air around the top of the tower, and without warning, an incredible cascade of energy arcs forth from one of the spheres to the ground nearby, followed by a second, then much closer by a third and fourth.

PhorenNarqu cawed yet again, flying a bit further away

Sasha_Seruka smiled.." nice.."

WinterWalker takes a step back, one hand still up to block the rush of air from Flash. "Careful! Something is about to happen dear Sasha. It would be best if we could get behind some cover," he spoke calmly, looking about for something to hide behind. It was the roof, and there wasn't anything.

Flash_Guardian lifts his head upward, shutting his eyes tightly, beginning to show signs of strain from the immense effort he was putting forth. Through the storm that surrounded him, he managed to call forth, "Ultimate!" His arms were brought violently forward, slamming together in their original position, wrists connected and fingers splayed. The four spheres of energy cease their revolutions and are all violently brought together in an incredible reaction, the flare from which lasts for several seconds and can be seen many miles away. As the burst subsides, Flash is still hovering in the air, his legs both slightly bent, and an immense sphere of energy, a dozen or so feet in width, hovers precariously before his hands.

Kharg walks up the stairs to the tower he leans agains the window looking around he realises that this would make a great picture he takes out his journal and focuses on all the people and the surroundngs hebegins to draw them

Sasha_Seruka stood there, raising her hands to form an energy barrier, it was sucking up her energy andshe fell to her kness..

WinterWalker kneels beside Sasha and holds out one hand with two fingers raised in the direction of Flash. "Holy Father... Lord of Heaven, with your infinite mercy I ask that you give me a miracle to shield me from the coming danger...~" He glows a soft white, the space around seemed to ripple like water as he spoke.

Sasha_Seruka collasped as her energy was sapped up from producing the shield. She laid there unconscious..

Kharg focuses his eyes on the main parts within this place taking not to the rippling floor ?! and the way people are there

Flash_Guardian seemed to falter slightly at this point in the ritual. This was the step that had to be left out if he wanted the ritual to perform as he would need it to when the time came. Flash's face becomes a grimace, struggling to control and harness the incredible amount of energy before him. Doing his best to resist, his arms and legs began to buckle, his body slowly curling into a ball. Gritting his teeth a moment, he held his position long enough to shout, "BLAAASSST ..." A power wave of force swept over the surrounding area with a high screeching sound, powerfully knocking back any unprotected creatures, sending them to the ground roughly or back several feet. The sphere of energy grew in size, beginning to tremble, appearing almost anxious for its release.

PhorenNarqu was forced backwards, falling to the wall below him, a wing snapping, feathers smouldering

WinterWalker meerly remained kneeling besides Sasha, still with two outstreched fingers as he softly repeated his prayer. He groaned uncomfortably as a powerful rush of energy rushed towards him, shutting his eyes tighter as it plowed into him. Not more than a foot in front of him, the malevolent energy seemed to part to his side, passing violently by him as he struggled to keep focused.

Sasha_Seruka 's body was pushed backwards from the force also..she was limp and unconscious still..

Kharg begins to draw the energy as it knocks him throuth the window he grabs his journal as it falls and hangs there on the outside of the window

Flash_Guardian at last cannot hold his failing stance any longer. With one final war cry, he shouts, "ATTACK!!" Several rings of energy appear surrounding the great sphere, rotating quickly around its surface for a moment ... but then something unexpected happens. There is a great blast which emanates from the space between Flash's hands and the sphere, and his arms and legs are snapped roughly out to his sides, the blast sending Flash hurtling through the air backwards at incredible speed while the sphere simply hovers in midair, pulsing calmly. Flash streaks through the sky to the south, eventually leaving sight of those standing around the tower. Eventually the sphere begins to lift up into the air, slowly shimmering and fading away into nothingness.

* * * (A few moments later ...) * * *

PhorenNarqu caws loudly from where he lies on the wall below, struggling to stay conscious

Kharg manages to climb back up and looks around his journal was now in his pouch he managed to get up to see a sphere fade away

WinterWalker lowers his hand and breathes heavily, leaning forward to support himself on one bent knee. Still catching his breath, he looks over to Sasha and approaches her with a couple of heavy steps. "Sasha! Come on now..." he again kneels beside her and gently lifts he head off the ground, "Wake up Sasha, please wake up..." he pleaded to her, most concerned with her health.

Sasha_Seruka still was out of it, the energy had taken a huge hit out of her..

PhorenNarqu cawed again, louder still, as he tries moving his wing, but just ends up losing his tenuos hold on consciousness

WinterWalker sighed and closed his eyes, "Come Sasha, please wake up..." After seeing no improvement in her condition, he closing his eyes and starts to chant again. "~Nameless Lord of all that is sacred, please hear my prayer...Impart unto your humble servant the miracle to mend the failings of one who is faithful to the lord... Let these words ride swiftly upon the Northern Wind to reach your ears..." Gradually, a viridescent green glow surrounded the two, streams of little flying swiftly about them. Slowly he leaned forward and gave Sasha a gentle kiss on the forhead, finishing the blessing of healing that he had called upon.

Sasha_Seruka slowly opened her eyes, unfocused at first she closed them again.."what...what happened?"

[Flash_Guardian] Suddenly, five smaller spheres of brilliant white energy appear hovering suspended in the air ... the spheres bob up and down, as if riding some unseen tide in the air. After a moment, the spheres drift lazily toward the people nearby, stopping just within arm's reach of Kharg, PhorenNarqu, Sasha_Seruka, and WinterWalker.

PhorenNarqu did not notice the orb, being unconscious and all

WinterWalker smiles to Sasha, "It is nothing dear Sasha... I am just glad to see that you are returning to us." He glances to the orb of light with apprehension.

Kharg looks at this great ball of light that appears infont of him he puzzles it then draws it

Sasha_Seruka looked at the orbs also, she back away a bit, still weak and apprehensive.."w-what is that?"

Aegian exits from this room

WinterWalker stands and rapidly looks about for the Raven. "Sir Phoren, where are you?" Again, he looked to the orb and cautiously move one hand towards it, "I don't know..."

[Flash_Guardian] For Kharg, Sasha, and WinterWalker, the orbs slowly move closer to them, emitting a warm and comforting presence very similar to what Sasha may already have felt upon waking by Walker's prayer. Slowly the spheres make contact with them, suffusing them with their positive energy ... it is warm, and soothing, and invigorating all at once, reviving them and repairing any damage that they might have suffered.

[Flash_Guardian] For PhorenNarqu, the orb simply seems to bob up and down in the air above him, not seeming to be able to get close to him for some unknown reason, but clearly drawing attention to itself.

PhorenNarqu didn't answer, just lay there

WinterWalker would finally find Phoren and attempt to tranfer what positive energy he had received to the bird, if it would be possible.

Kharg stands there in a daze

PhorenNarqu writhed in agony. The energy seemed to be doing more harm than good

Sasha_Seruka smiled as she felt te warmth and soothing feeling once more. She giggled.."it tickled"

WinterWalker quickly remembers Phoren's dark heritage and recoils, "Blasted vampire blood..." He sighs and places on hand on his face, shaking his head.

[Flash_Guardian] The energy sphere hovering over Phoren moves away from the vampire and into Blue, suffusing him with its healing power instead.

Kharg still dazed sits down

WinterWalker allows the energy the merge with him and kneels next to Phoren. "Well... It doesn't seem like there is much I can do in this situation besides cause harm to you..." He gently picks up the raven and looks over to Sasha, "Forgive me Sasha, but do know of any way to heal somebody of dark blood?"

PhorenNarqu still writhed a little, wing clearly broken

WinterWalker shakes his head and cradles Phoren's body like he would a small child, "Well, I suppose it would be best if I could locate Flash... I wonder how Aislinn had healed him..." He had little knowledge of herbal remedies.

Sasha_Seruka looked at Blue then walked over to Phoren, slipping a small vial out of thin air, the bark red contents thickish in texture. She tok the cork out and slipped the contents into phorens mouth..

PhorenNarqu swallowed a tiny bit, the raven's beak not quite suited to having liquid poured into it, and spasmed a little, but his wing slowly began to repair itself

Kharg looked over to the people and tries to get over he drags himself over "has anybody noticed the stange light thing around here

WinterWalker glances over to Kharg and releases a slight chuckle, "I would imagine that such a thing would be hard to miss."

Kharg "well its ruined my legs y'know"

* * * (Sometime later, in the woods to the south) * * *

WinterWalker walks down the less traveled path into the Southern Woods, looking around with one hand held up to his mouth, "Sir Flash!" he shouts. "Sir Flash! Please call back to me!"

Sasha_Seruka lookedaround, her mind reading getting clearer."he's close Blue.."\

WinterWalker still continured to search for Flash, occasionally peering behind the odd bush or two. He glances back to Sasha, "How is Sir Phoren doing?"

[Flash_Guardian] Blue catches sight of something out of the corner of his eye ... to the left of Sasha and beyond a pair of tall bushes.

PhorenNarqu just lay in Sasha's arms, healed, but still not awake

Sasha_Seruka looked down at the unconscious Raven.." he's doin ok.."

WinterWalker looks to Sasha's side, "There, I see something" He pushes his way past the tall shrubs to find Flash most likely.

[Flash_Guardian] Blue finds Flash, who is laying on his stomach, folded over a nearby stump in a haphazard fashion, unmoving. His foot seems to be twisted painfully to one side, his arm is bent at an angle that perhaps it isn't supposed to, and he has numerous gashes and smatterings of blood over his body. One particularly bloody gash runs across his right eye, unable to be seen due to the concentration of blood around it.

WinterWalker puts his hands to his mouth, "Merciful heavens..." he says in shock. Taking out a hankerchief, he wipes the blood from Flash's face and checks to see if he is still breathing.

Flash_Guardian is breathing, though it is faint and rather gurgly, as if he has some fluid in his throat or mouth. The blood has already dried somewhat, flaking and wiping off of Flash's face, leaving only red-stained skin. His eye is badly scratched, but looks more or less intact.

WinterWalker takes special care not to get blood on his robe, seeing as how it was difficult to clean. Reaching into his sidebag, he takes out the three items mentioned before: Silver ink, spring water, and a small book.

Sasha_Seruka looked at her watch.."bugga i have to go.." she gently placed Phoren down on a tree stump and bidded farewell to Blue..

[Flash_Guardian] Upon inspection, Flash's arm is most definitely broken. His ankle is twisted. A few of the larger wounds are still bleeding, but some of the smaller ones have already closed themselves off, leaving only torn clothing and scabs.

WinterWalker removes a brush from his belt and suspends his hands over Flash's body, "I suppose I will have to perform a benediction..." Dipping the brush in the silver ink, he artfully draws several character's upon Flash's back. "~Let this be a pact between man and heaven to repay the favor that this man will receive... Let it be written that one service will be requested on behalf of the lord in order to mend the body of Sir Flash...~" He lowers his hands and uncorks the bottle of water, "Heaven weeps for you... Rise and join us so that you may perform this deed to which you are bound...~" He sprinkle a few drops of water upon flash and closes his eyes, both of them starting to glow a soft white.

Flash_Guardian 's body is surrounded by an aura of healing from Benjamin's prayer for a few seconds. When the glow subsides, his wounds have been healed most fully, yet his clothing remained torn and bloodied. Flash's body lurched suddenly, coughing and sputtering as his back arched up into the air, arms weakly trying to hold him up as he coughed the blood up out of his windpipe.

WinterWalker leans forward and places one hand on Flash's shoulder, "Flash! Sir Flash! Are you with us again?" he asked.

Flash_Guardian kept his eyes closed, giving one final cough to get the last of the blood out of his system, then turned his head to the side to look into Blue's face. His eyes were half open and tired, but a weak smile was held on his lips. "Blue ..." he said in a raspy voice. "Thank you."

WinterWalker smiled and sat down beside him, "It was my pleasure to help you." He takes out a small piece of parchment and hands it to Flash, "Unfortunatelly, I had lacked the ability to heal you with my own alone. This paper binds you to perform one virtuous deed under the watchful eye of the Holy Father."

WinterWalker gives Flash a serious look, "Contained in this parchment are all of the pains and wounds you had just received. Should this act not be repaid or this paper torn, the contract will break and you will revert to what you just were. Please take special care of it...."

Flash_Guardian 's arms give out underneath him, and he falls back to onto his chest on the stump. He takes the paper slowly and carefully, bringing it to his face to look at more closely, chuckling. "One virtuous deed ... shouldn't be that hard, I would think. That is my job, after all." He lets his arm droop down over the side of the stump, still holding on to the paper. "Do I look like crap? I feel it," he says, closing his eyes again and breathing steadily.

WinterWalker smiles, "Well, perhaps if you wore something that would be less offensive to onlookers, you would look much better," he teased, taking a jab to Flash's fashion sense.

Flash_Guardian scowled, laughing. "Hey! I've worn this same style of clothing for over 300 revolutions," he explains realizing the poor man before him likely had no concept of what 'revolutions' were. Abruptly his laugh faded as he looked down over himself. "Well, I'll need to find a tailor now anyway, looks like."

[Flash_Guardian] He chuckled to himself, his face bearing a large grin despite his seeming lack of energy. "Healing by contract ... my master would be proud," he mumbles, laughing.

Hinno_Malisar works in and sraws his two elven knves that instantly grow into two long swords(notes he hates these elven daggers.).He spins them rapidly as he enters the woods looking for something but he didnt know what.

WinterWalker shrugs, "Not everything is freely given, but should you be as virtuous as you say, it should be of any concern. I am just a mediator between you and the Lord..." He smirks, "Besides, if one can not provide such a deed, a generous donation to the church might lessen what would be required..." he joked.

Flash_Guardian nods. "And I'm so rich, too ..." he joked, smiling. He carefully manages to bring the contract up to his back ... he feels around on his back with his hand, growing more and more concerned. "Uh oh," he muttered.

Hinno_Malisar

WinterWalker stands and puts away his things, "It is just a reminder. It should dissapate when you are finished." He gazes at the small damaged raven, "It is a shame I can't do anything for him."

PhorenNarqu twitched slightly upon the stump

Hinno_Malisar follows his horse through the woods and then falls into the ground and doesnt get up.The forest floor was wet and muddy. He stood up and saw his new wizard tunic ruined with dirt and mud.He cursed silently as it is not easy to get a wizard tunic.

Flash_Guardian sits up slowly and with some effort. How strange it is to see this athletic young man put so much effort into such simple movements ... His gaze follows Blue's to look at the twitching Raven. His eyelids suddenly leapt open. "Oh! The others ... are they alright? What happened up there, anyway?" he asked quickly.

Illidan_the_Dark_Paladin melted out of the shadows, shimmering on the edge of sight, drawing attention of nothing, and everything in all the same time. His body rippled once or twice like water before becoming solid again. Not bothering to lower the hood of his cloak, he begins to observe the other beings scattered around the place. A slightly sardonic grin spreading over his lips, not that it could be seen. His eye color wavered between a deep, almost bottomless blue, and a stark, glaring red. However, this went unseen, the shadows cast by the hood hiding his face. Nothing sparked his interest, so instead he turned his attention to finding somewhere to sit, so he could observe these beings in quiet. However, that quiet may not last long…

WinterWalker glances off into the woods, thinking that he heard the neigh of a horse and the cursing of a man. "They are fine, no damage done thankfully. You made some kind of huge, dazzling display and flew with all haste into these woods. It couldn't be helped I guess."

Flash_Guardian nods, sighing. "That's good to hear, at least. The huge, dazzling display is normal ... me getting hurled through the air by the backlash of my own spell is not." He shook his head, rubbing at the back of his neck and shoulders. He looked back to the bird, still laying mostly motionless upon the stump. "Maybe I didn't give you guys enough warning ..."

WinterWalker rubs the back of his neck and turns away from his, "That would partially be my fault..."

Flash_Guardian shook his head. "That's the first time I've ever used that attack in this realm," he reasons. "Lots of things could have gone wrong. I should have had you stay down below and wait for me to finish. It would have been safer for all of you that way." He seemed rather guilty all of a sudden.

Illidan_the_Dark_Paladin lost complete interest in the events occurring around him. Perhaps he didn’t care, or maybe just had better or more urgent things to do with his time. He had pulled his hood up and drew his cloak around himself. Illidans body shimmered once or twice as it took a dark and translucent form, he moved over to the shadows, stepped into them and disappeared, leaving only the memory of the man standing there barely a moment beforehand.

Flash_Guardian senses something in the distance ... is that a Dark Paladin, or a passing breeze?

WinterWalker turns back around and waves his hands, "Nonsense! We fully knew what the consequences might be. There were a few unfortunates that happened to stumble in, but came to no harm." Casually, he crossed his arms and hid both his hands within his sleeves, "It couldn't be helped."

Acelin strides into the corners of sight, just noticable amoung the trees, her bright and silver pelt gleaming in the filtered light

Flash_Guardian frowned, giving no more than a short 'hrmph' for an argument. Shaking his head yet again, he looked off into the distance. "Maybe I should find my way to a bed. I forget just how much that spell takes out of me."

Arianah moves along a path silently, a lock of blond hair pulled over her shoulder as she combed her fingers through it absently, eyes set on the ground, obviously deep in thought, though her elven ears were perked up and making sure there was no danger.

WinterWalker nods, "That would most likely be best."

WinterWalker walks back onto the path to walks back to town, but stops himself as a pretty lady starts to come into view.

Acelin pads into the clearing, heavy paws crunching the dry leaves on the ground, she raises her head and looks around her, nose tilted upwards, towards the sky

Arianah stopped in mid-walk as she heard another step onto the path, her hand moving down to the dagger at her thigh, but she didn't pull it, simply looked up slowly, studying the distant figured of Winter

Flash_Guardian 's attention is again drawn to his back ... the back of his shirt behind his cape had been ripped up, which caused him great alarm. His shurikens were missing ... not that he could worry about that now. They would be easy enough to find after he got some rest. He would just have to carry his contract tucked into his belt for the time being. He bids farewell and a final thanks to Benjamin, giving Phoren one last look of concern before dragging himself (literally) back to town.

WinterWalker takes a moment to guage Arianah before taking a step forward with a bow, removing the cleric's cap that was squarely perched upon his head, "Greetings to you fair maiden," he said politely, awaiting her reply.

Arianah cocked her head a bit to the side, quite intrigued by his friendly greeting. She curtsied to him as best as she could, having never been taught, and offered a light smile, her small fangs poking at the skin of her bottom lip ''Good eve m'lord..''
