[Fox] "What was it then, Min?" His arms fold, guardedly.

[Minerva] "I dunno. Things were a little blurry when I was walking here, that's all."

[Maldor_Wraithbinder] Having a soul as many thigns do he is not evil, nor good but which ever suits him taking not to either one. Pain as the light would bring none the less, his sins burned away which was going to take him a long time to redo, as for him sins work like gathering runes He jsut waits for the light to pass and stumbles a bit on the giddy side as the happy go lucky feeling take him. "What the?" Shaking his head rather impressed that the binding spell worked.

[Fox] "Are you tired still? Or are we still recvering from the sword explosion at Genbu;s?"

[Minerva] "I'm not tired. And my head only hurts a little now. I dunno."

[Fox] "I'm hoping there's been no permanent damaghe..."

Fox notes he be sitting in a tree, possibly an oak. Probably the one she leans on.

Flash_Guardian manages to find his way to a tree with his hands, settling against it. He can only assume that it is the same tree he hopped down out of moments before, the one that Fox is still in. "Hey, Blues?" he calls upward aimlessly. "I don't mean to pry," Flash said with a hint of sarcasm, "but can I assume that things are safe for now?"

Minerva tilts her head back to peer up at the vulpine then. She's probably more likely to see most of the tree instead of him, regardless of how low he's seated. It's more like the most dominant paint running over the rest of an image, right now. So with that getting nowhere, she'll look to the side confusedly trying to figure out wherefrom he's speaking, "Fox, where are you?" O_o;

Fox glances down to Flash, speaking up with a clearing of his throat, "Right here Flash, and yes the danger's over. One holy blast, works a charm...." he sniffs, turning his head ever so slightly towards Min, "Look up. I'm sitting on a branch. Red and blue, sticking out like heck within greenery, right?"

Minerva tilts her head back again to stare up at him. "Uh.. kay."

Flash_Guardian gives a none-too-comforted sigh, tilting his head up in Fox's direction. Those who look at Flash can see that his eyes have gone pure white with no pupils ... possibly a strange side effect of sensory overload and magic interference ... who knows? He also turns his attention toward the sound of Minerva briefly, just barely able to sense her unusual presence on the fringes of his awareness.

[Fox] "Hey Flash....are you alright down there....you don't seem to be reacting too well. Min, you too. Are your sights alright?"

[Minerva] "I'm fine I think... Just get a little closer, will you?"

Flash_Guardian gives a slightly pained laugh, "looking" back up into the tree after Fox's voice. "Well, not too bad considering the complete inability to see and the throbbing headache from the sensory overload," he explains. "I cast a magic detection spell right before that holy wrath-of-god hit the floor."

Minerva blinks, "Me, or Fox's spell?" o.o

Fox shoulder slumps...and blerghes, in quite a surly manner. "Y'kidding me. Min, he means my Megido. Aslo, do you think a Recovery would help him?"

[Minerva] "...Then again I'm more like cuddling of god than wrath of god..."

Minerva squints. "Recovery? I don't know. Maybe a short Sleeping actually to let his mind rest..."

Flash_Guardian chuckles a little. "I'd love to be kidding right now. Can I be kidding?" he jests.

Fox glances to Flash. "Fancy taking a nap somewhere to let your mind rest?"

[Flash_Guardian] "Pleeease?" he adds pitifully, bring a hand up to massage his temples.

[Fox] "Sure thing. Fancy the Pub, and I'll rent you a one day room?"

Flash_Guardian closes his eyes, hiding the pure white pupils from sight, and taking a deep breath. "Sounds good to me."

[Minerva] "I think he was begging that we were kidding about... something. What were we kidding about?" o.o

Flash_Guardian laughs. "I can see now why you and Blank get along so well." He shakes his head at Minerva. "Never mind, I make bad jokes when I'm feeling foul." He shrugs. "Please don't take any of it personally, it's just a relief mechanism."

[Minerva] "I'm not feeling too good either..."

[Fox] "Oh gawds. Think you can walk of your own, or do y'want a lift there? Min, I'm gonna take us home instead. Both of you can rest up and I can get about other things. That in idea people?"

Flash_Guardian is about to ask Minerva if she had cast a magic detection spell also ... but then remembered what he saw of her just before everything went painfully white. He sat there wordlessly, not sure how to react.

[Minerva] "I wanted to still walk around!" she whines childishly.

[Fox] "Yea but Min, y'don't seem like you can in y'current state. Y'see what I mean?"

[Minerva] "I made it out here okay, didn't I...?"

Flash_Guardian responded in a reassuring tone to Fox, saying "Yeah, I've gotten through worse scrapes before, I'm sure. 'Though none of them seem to be coming to mind just yet. I could probably just teleport my way into the Pub and go from there." He pushed himself away from the tree a few feet, wobbling only a little this time. "Don't worry about the room, I can get one for myself, though I do appreciate the offer."

Fox shrugs. He will simply rise and leap off the branch smartly to drop down and land in a semi crouch, knees bent next to Flash. "Here...given that I was the cause of this..." a small clinkering is head in a side pocket, as five small golden coins are produced. "Take this...you can grab a bite while you're there. Be well."

[Fox] "True Min, but you made it out here staggering.."

Flash_Guardian turns to Minerva, able to orient on her much easier for some reason. "I know we just met, but ... I would be asking you a lot of questions right now about what I saw ... if I were in any better frame of mind. Maybe next time, eh?"

Flash_Guardian manages a small grin at Minerva.

Minerva blinks, "What you just... saw? Alright... Fox, is it okay if I go see if that ice tower is still up at all in the dark part of the forest?"

Flash_Guardian sighs and smirks, moving his hand up and down to fully appreciate the weight of the coins. "Alright then. Thanks. I guess I'll be off. Take care, and that goes for the both of you," he added with more concern in Minerva's direction.

[Fox] "Sure...I'll come along with you." He raises a thumb to Min. "Flash, you gonna be okay to the pub by y;self? take care then.."

Flash_Guardian nods. "I'll be alright. Kinda reminds me of one of the tests I had to pass in my monk training ... only this time there isn't 50 heavily armed black belts all waiting their turn to beat me senseless." He gives a half-grin of not so fond remembrance.

Minerva nods, standing upright. She's still clutching that blue ball of hers to herself, while wobbling over in Fox's direction, "Y'coming? Okay." ^^

Flash_Guardian gives a final nod of farewell to Fox and Minerva, then steadies himself for some spellcasting.

Fox waves later to Flash and waits for Min to get going..."Why do you carry that ball about with you everywhere?" he would browquirk, and does but that is not seen under his headgear. "Wouldn't it be better leaving it at home?"

[Minerva] "I don't know... it's nice to have when I don't feel good and you aren't around, and sometimes it's useful if I think carefully..." she'll actually be waiting for him to move, given the light having disoriented her from the path and her current less-than-stellar vision.

[Fox] "Yea, but what if you lost it?" he shrugs and trots ahead of her, tail flickering jauntily as he waits for her to catch up..

Minerva squeeks, padding after him then at decent pace, "I could find it. Since I use it for magic sometimes like when I needed an exact compass, it's magical if even only a little bit. So I could figure out where it is."

Flash_Guardian closes his eyes and concentrates, his palms face down and stretched outward. A gust of wind swirls around Flash, stirring his hair and sending ripples through his clothing. A tiny circle of yellow energy begins to form around Flash's feet, slowly rising in height and increasing in width and roundness so as to become a sphere, gradually crawling slowly around Flash's form, encasing him completely until he cannot be seen. The brilliantly lit sphere begins to flicker and waver, until at last there is a loud crack as the sphere bursts and dissipates, leaving behind only a few golden sparks to float through the air and fade away.

* * * (Later, in the Pub ...) * * *

[Flash_Guardian] A spark of golden light shines suddenly in an unoccupied corner of the room. As you watch, the light begins to expand, eventually forming a large golden sphere of swirling magical energy. The energy shimmers and shifts, and finally begins to fade, revealing the form of Flash within it as the yellowish light becomes translucent, transparent, and finally vanishes altogether, leaving only a small swirl of wind around Flash's feet.

Shin_Seiken looks at Flash....

Flash_Guardian looks vacantly around the room, hopeful at first, but his hopes are quickly dashed and his face droops. Those who look at him notice that his eyes are completely white and devoid of any sort of iris or pupil. His footing seems very unsteady. Not facing anyone in particular, he calls out into the room, "Excuse me? I don't suppose I could get some assistance from somebody?" He grits his teeth, obviously upset about something.

Flash_Guardian is staying absolutely still, with both his arms splayed out in front of him, searching the air. Eventually his hand comes to rest on the back of a chair. He quickly and frantically starts to run his hands over the chair, exploring it ... at last he finds the flat part that makes up the seat. Guided by his hands, he quickly and carefully seats himself.

Katt would have swiveled her ears lightly, perhaps to catch a sense that came from the corner, or the vocals of the man whom manifested there. Disregarding it, it seemed something else was catching her attention, calling for her. A light sigh soon heaved from her bosom, causing chainmail to slither lightly with a metallic hiss. A moment longer and a delicate hand would fish into her pouch, retrieving a silvery ring - more or less a slender band beset in etched runes - before leaning foreward with a slow crane of her head. Moving lips murred something lightly into Darren's ear, that ring soon set into his palm with a gentle nod.

Flash_Guardian moved his head from one side to the other. The sight of the pure whiteness of his eyes was rather disturbing to the other onlookers. His face looked rather panicky, and he jumped at the slightest noises around him.

[Flash_Guardian] "Can somebody help me, please?" he pleaded. "I promise it won't be any trouble, I just need a room for the night ..."

Tainted continued watching her curiously, that hand rising to accept the gift, and he curled slender digits around the circlet of silver, clasping it carefully in his hand. Blinking once, he cocked his head inquisitively to the side as she whispered, the lightest of trembles coursing through him with her words. "Oh, Katt.. M'lady, I can't have this." he shook his head gently when she withdrew. ".. Not my place."

Chiharu_Seiken walks in the Pub. The first person she sees is the one she's looking for.... He walks towards Flash and gives him a peck to the cheek teasingly...

Flash_Guardian became even more panicked, unable to sit still in his seat. At last, he carefully and tentatively rose up out of his chair, refusing to let go of the sides of his chair until he was fully upright. Once he was standing, he let go of the chair ... he wobbled a little bit at first, but eventually managing to regain control ... and then he felt someone approaching ... and a kiss. His face oriented on the Chiharu, surprise evident on his face. Chiharu is disturbed to see Flash's eyes ... the are completely white, with no sign of iris or pupil, not at all how she remembers seeing him earlier.

Katt revealed a serene smile to the boy with a raise of her delicate shoulders. "N'nsense! Ye use 't at w'll." Her slender digits would have slid to grace the barcounter, though in the wake of silvery fingertips were the blackness that usually grew. The void darkness that would be her passageway. "Be c'reful." was her last farewell, before she passed through the horizontally laid void, vanishing out of existance with the blink.

[Flash_Guardian] "Uh ... hello ... whoever you are ..." he seems amused by the kiss, but still seems rather upset.

Tainted swallowed hard, watching the woman drop from sight, and he opened his hand slowly to gaze down 'pon the trinket she proferred to him. Hesitantly, he moved to slide the circlet of silver 'pon the index finger of his left hand as she instructed, and with a surge of magical energy, the boy's physical figure simply flickered out of sight and mind.

Chiharu_Seiken placed her hands unto her hips with a raised eyebrow. "Dontcha remember me? The dark-alley-with-thugs thing."

Flash_Guardian straightened up at the mention of the alley fight the other day. A vague smile crossed his lips in remembrance. "Oh yeah," he said calmly. "You're that samurai from the other day." Chiharu notices that Flash is not looking directly at her while he speaks ... in fact, he doesn't seem to be looking anywhere ...

[Flash_Guardian] "How could you just leave me to fight off all those goons by myself, huh?" he gripes at her. Thinking better of it, he grins. "I mean, thanks for letting me have all the fun."

Maso - The faintest of glimmers could be seen, the energy dancing 'pon some wayward air current, finding itself present within the center of the pub. The energy gathered, coalescing and expanding into a small saucer shaped disc, the flat sides facing up and down. A vortex, the otherwordly magics seemed to be, and from said swirling discus the feline emerged. With all the grace and ease of an acrobat or ballet dancer, the being spewed forth from the maw of it's portal, which closed with a snap in the cat's wake. A flawlessly executed front-flip brought the creature down soundlessly upon a nearby tabletop, booted feet haulting some fraction of an inch above the aged, marred wooden surface; as though some shield protected it from actually making physical contact. Maso's landing point was in fact the table beside Flash_Guardian, and despite his seeing impairment, he'd no doubt be able to detect the creature's presence.

Flash_Guardian was suddenly aware of the presence of Maso ... which startled him to no end, he was rather grateful to be aware of anything at this point. "Maso!" he called out, his face actually turning to look at him with hollow white eyes and a relieved smile.

Chiharu_Seiken smiles with a apology "That's why I'm searchin for yah. Okay I'm sorry for what happened last time." She winks childishly after that.

Maso turns it's petite figure to face the man entirely, standing with impeccable posture, arms held down at the creature's sides for a moment, before with another elegant flourish the feline would give a low bow to the man. Rising back up, it stared into Flash's eyes for a moment, head tipping curiously to the side, and it's felinian auricles shifted from the slits in the brim of it's hat, facing towards Chiharu with her words.

Flash_Guardian turns halfway in Chiharu's direction, not quite facing her. "Oh ... thanks, and don't worry about it. The rest were a bunch of pushovers anyway." He grinned, turning back to address Maso. "It's good to see you, Maso," he said, "although it's actually a bit disturbing that I really can 'see' you ... or 'feel' you ... 'sense' you, I mean ..." he fumbled for the proper words.

Chiharu_Seiken notices Flash's eyes. It seems something is wrong. "What happened to your eyes?"

Flash_Guardian laughs in response to Chiharu's question. "Yeah, funny thing, that ... you don't happen to know what happens to a person who casts a spell that allow them to see magic, and then they witness a magical attack powerful enough to level an entire army of demons, would you?" He gives a half-hearted chuckle, looking rather embarrassed.

Maso blinked those big, glossy eyes up at the man as he regarded it. Without word or gesture, the feline was sheathed in supernatural powers, surrounding it in a nigh-invisible aura of raw magical power, that simply rippled the air about him. Like plastic wrap, the aura was sucked tight against the feline's body, and the otherwordly powers lost consistency, blotting the cat from sight and sense all-together, and soon after the magic used to conceal such a being was hidden from the minds eye. Why? Well, the last thing the feline wanted to do was disturb Flash with his ability to sense the creature.

Flash_Guardian blinked, swiveling his head from side to side, as if he'd lost something and was trying to find it. Flash quickly realized that it wasn't going to get him anywhere, so he resorted to another tactic. "Maso? Where did you go? Are you still there? Hey!" Flash's panic began to return.

Maso blinked once again, confusion evident upon the feline's appropriately cat-like features. Logically speaking, if the man's lack of ability to sense Maso was even more disturbing than the opposite, then there was no reason for it to remain hidden. Thus, the creature reached out to bestow a reassuring touch upon the man's shoulder. The being's touch was incredibly soft, borderline noticable, and with the action it flushed all that magical energy from it's form, bringing it back into plain 'sight', so to speak. An inquisitive tilt of it's head was given, confused by Flash's panicked reactions.

Flash_Guardian calmed down somewhat at the creature's touch and reappearance. He took a couple of calming breaths, then turned to look back at Maso. "You scared me there for a second," he admitted. "I've always been able to sense you beyond what my eyes and ears tell me. I didn't want to think that I'm losing my mind's eye also, or something ..."

Flash_Guardian notes the sudden silence. "Hey ... are you still there, girl?"

Maso blinked once, gaze drifting to where the girl had gone, before it looked back towards Flash. A sympathetic nod of it's head was given in response to his former words, and the creature let one hand rise from it's side. Slender, articulate digits moved to snap it's fingers; which of course registered no sound. Oddly enough though, it's hand happened to be the epicenter of a suddenly expanding wave of what could only be described as Sonar. Said wave could, if he were observant enough, display in Flash's view, giving him a brief, fleeting view of his surroundings, before it faded away.

Flash_Guardian straightened up suddenly as new information found its way into his senses. He now knew where he stood in relation the rest of the Pub ... the arrangement of chair and tables, people moving ...

Flash_Guardian quickly teleports to Chiharu's side ... (shorthand, cheating ...:-P)

* * * (Later, in the Cherry Blossom Garden ...) * * *

A spark of golden light shines suddenly in an unoccupied corner of the room.

Chiharu_Seiken noticed Flash appear no too far from her.....

Flash_Guardian looks around, not really seeing anything. He could only assume that the directions he had been given were correct ... "Umm ... hello?"

Chiharu_Seiken shouts to direct him into hers. "Hey Flash! Over here!"

[Flash_Guardian] "Miss Samurai?" he calls back to her. He still seems to be unsteady, but he manages a slow and ungainly walk in her direction. He stops fairly close to her and lays himself down carefully in the grass.

[Flash_Guardian] "You know, you're getting far too good at that disappearing act," Flash informs her with a mild hint of irritation.

Chiharu_Seiken laughs childishly "Just testin your searching ability. Sorry again"

[Flash_Guardian] He seems slightly annoyed at that. "You picked a fine time to test my senses, didn't you? Just don't disappear on me again, eh? I had to have Maso's help just to find you this time, I doubt I'll be able to track you down a second time." He shakes his head. "Well, I guess I could try that awareness trick that I used a couple times before, but I don't really feel like doing it in this state." He brings a hand up to rub his forehead, wincing in pain.

Chiharu_Seiken taps her shoulder and starts worrying. "Hey.. Are you okay...?"

[Flash_Guardian] "It's like nothing you've ever seen," Flash describes to Chiharu in dreadful awe. "Like watching a star go Supernova from five feet away. And suddenly, you can't see a thing." He turns his face toward her, again revealing the totally white, unnerving eyes.

[Flash_Guardian] "I've been blinded," says Flash. "I can only hope that my eyesight will return with a day's rest."

Chiharu_Seiken looks down, blaming herself "I should'nt have done that...."

Flash_Guardian shrugs, still rubbing his forehead. "Hey, don't worry about it," he says reassuringly. "If I haven't told you already, I like a challenge." He actually managed a grin as he said so. After a moment's reflection, he asked the woman, "You know I never got your name from the other day. I'm Flash."

Chiharu_Seiken grabs his hands to shake with hers. "I'm Chiharu. Don't call me Miss Samurai like those perverted thugs." She smiled sweetly.

Flash_Guardian chuckles apologetically, shaking her hand in return. "Right," he agreed. "Chiharu it is." Flash was about to ask her something, but suddenly he felt extremely dizzy. "Whoaoah ..." he put both of his hands to his head this time, not looking well at all.

Chiharu_Seiken grabs his shoulders to support him. Right now she's extremely worried, but she does'nt know why. "Hey! Hang on....!"

Flash_Guardian blinks several times, his breath short and fast. "I really don't feel so well ... I think I should head back to the Pub, I'm sorry." He bites his lip.

* * * ((Lost Chat Log Summary: Chiharu helps flash get back to the Pub. Flash apologizes for not being sociable, Chiharu just says don't worry about it.)) * * *

Flash_Guardian walks slowly into the Pub with the aid of Chiharu.

Flash_Guardian grins. "Thanks so much ... I should be able to talk to an innkeeper or something from here ... I've never stayed at the Pub before," he mentions.

Chiharu_Seiken carefully guides Flash towards a chair, not knowing her face is blushing with pale red.

Flash_Guardian sits carefully. He feels an odd mixture of gratefulness and embarrassment. Him, the mighty Flash, Guardian of Fate and Time ... barely able to walk unassisted, let alone aquire his own room at the inn. With that thought, he pulls some coin out of his pouch. "A friend gave me this money to buy a room for the night ... I'd feel bad if it didn't get used."

Chiharu_Seiken gives back the money "No... I'll go and get a room for you..." She walks towards the innkeeper, ordering a room.

Flash_Guardian attempts to protest, but the words never get past his lips. He just shakes his head and allows it. "Fine, but I owe you one," he tells Chiharu.

Chiharu_Seiken walks back to Flash after she aquired a key for a room. She helped Flash to stand up. "C'mon. Let's go to your room.."

Flash_Guardian stands and walks with Chiharu to his room. "You have no idea how humbling this whole experience is for me," Flash tells her, his head looking down and away, a flush of red in his cheeks.

Chiharu_Seiken smiles and blushes too, but she tuen her face away because of shyness...

Flash_Guardian is guided through the door and into his room. "Is this the place?" he asks. He still struggles to keep his footing, but it isn't as bad as before.

Chiharu_Seiken looks around. "Yep this is it..." She slowly guided him to the bed so he can rest.

Flash_Guardian sits on the bed and begins pulling off his shoes and bracers. "I mean, I really can't say thank you enough. You didn't have to help me, and you could have taken advantage of me while I'm like this." He begins to untie the ends of his cape from his wrists. "Any other person probably wouldn't have been so kind, especially to a stranger."

Flash_Guardian reaches back and undoes the clasp that holds his cape to the top of his vest. Without all of his garb, he looks rather plain, for the most part like any other road weary traveller or peasant.

Chiharu_Seiken looks at her sky blue necklace. "My brother always tells me that even though I don't know a person very well, as long as I feel comfortable with him, do not hesitate to help him. And it's really my fault so I have the responsibility..." After that, she sits next to Flash.

Flash_Guardian smiles. "Still, it is very honorable of you," he says with a respectful nod. "If I can find some way to make this up to you, I will." With a thought, he smiles at her, holding out his hand gingerly, palm up, waiting for something.

Chiharu_Seiken blushes even more when they touched each other. "no... you don't have to do repay me....."

[Flash_Guardian] Flash manages to take Chiharu's hand gently by her fingers. He gingerly raises the hand to his face and gives it a soft kiss. "Fine then. But I still want to," he tells her sincerely, with a grin and a nod. After that, he pulls back the covers and crawls into bed, closing his eyes and letting sleep take him.
