Michael Flasch
Vocals/Bass Guitar

Michael Flasch is a founding member of FIRST. Born on 2/25/79, he first started playing guitar at the age of 13 after hearing his first KISS album, Revenge. His mom bought him a white Fender Stratocaster for Christmas 1992. He took lessons for about 3 months, then stopped taking them. He put down the guitar for a while at that point for some unknown reason. He began playing bass during his senior year in high school, 1996. He formed a punk band with some guys from school, and since they needed a bass player, he played bass. This band was called The Shrubs. The punk band went through numerous lineup changes and lasted until the fall of 2000. In January of 2001, Michael and Ryan Perys formed their own band.... This band would become the band FIRST.

Mike has a background in theatre, including lead roles in a variety of plays, including Charlie and the Chocolate factory, playing Willy Wonka. He has also been in radio as a news anchor for a Cincinnati radio station. None of these things can compare to rock and roll. Michael Flasch has had one goal from day one. The FIRST time he heard his first KISS album, the FIRST time he played his guitar........... He wanted to be in the world's Greatest Rock and Roll band. He is determined to make it.

In Michael's free time, he likes to watch Sci-Fi/Horror movies, write songs, and just listen to some great music. Without music... What's left?

"I'm young, I'm Wild, and I'm Free...... I've got the magic power of the music in me...."
