| THE DOWNLOAD PROCESS |

| We upload the Flashcard files to the GeoCities / Yahoo file servers which are similar to your hard drive. The download process to your computer is out of our hands. The download from the servers is via your ISP under the direction of your browser software and you. |

These instructions are for Microsoft's Internet Explorer. You are using Internet Explorer if you see "Favorites" near the top of your screen. Internet Explorer is abbreviated IE here.
If you do not see "Favorites," you are likely using Netscape. You will see "Bookmarks" instead. Netscape download instructions are nearly identical to IE. |

| DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS |

1. Right-click the above "Download Part 1" link. Left-click "Save Target As..." ( Netscape: "Save Link As..." )
2. A window appears titled "Save As." A small box labeled "Save in:" appears near the top. Left click the first button to the right of this box until Desktop appears in this box
3. There is a box labeled "File name:" near the bottom of the "Save As" window. You must left click in this box and then change the file name from "Fcinstal.bin" to "Fcinstal.exe"
4. Click the "Save" button at the lower right of the "Save As" window. This download takes about 15 seconds with a 56k modem. Click the "Close" button when this download completes. |

6. At the "Save As" window make sure "Desktop" appears in the "Save in" box. (See step 2)
7. This file is already named "Fsmailin.bin".
8. Click the "Save" button at the lower right. This download takes about 2 minutes with a 56k modem. Click the "Close" button when this download completes. |

Close your other applications such as Outlook Express. On your desktop double-left-click the Fcinstal icon. Installation takes about a minute. |

| The Flashcard software is continuously revised and improved. To ensure quality we are currently requiring updates weekly by noon each Friday. These 98-fact version updates are free and will remain so. The update location is given during instasllation. |
