This site is intended to help users of Flashbuttons.com understand how to target frames, I am no expert on frames so I will not go into too much detail but the way I will explain it here hopefully will help you understand how to get your frame targets correct.

I have noticed there are a lot of you who need help with frames, so here it is.

When you design a site using frames like the ones you see here you must remember that frames need names. I have called my frames (for obvious reasons) topframe,rightframe,bottomframe,mainframe,etc.

If you name yours the same way it will be easier to follow what I mean . When you are creating your navbar you will see a box that says Target Frame Name (optional) to target the frames the same way I have in this site, you simply type exactly as the following line,

rightframe,topframe,bottomframe,_self,mainframe,_blank

Remember that it is case sensitive so the targets must match the frames exactly. Hope this helps you to get your frame targets assigned correctly.
