California

Summer 1998: for the first time I can fly out of the old continent and see the new! Destination California. My tour started from Marin County, to go south to Los Angeles and San Diego, then north to LA again, Santa Barbara, Monterey, Santa Cruz and the San Francisco Bay area.

I started my trip from Marin County, just north of the Golden Gate Bridge of San Francisco. Mill Valley:

With Kyle and Michelle we hiked the Mt.Tamailpais....

....and tasted some good wine in Napa.

This is the famous Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. BTW, LA didn't give me a very good impression!
And Venice Beach.....

....including Muscle Beach.

San Diego: the historical Gaslamp quartier.

A daytrip to Mexico: this is the border....
....and this is a nice square in Tijuana.

Going back north, this is the Corean Bell in San Pedro..... yes, the same one seen on "The Usual Suspects"!

Still in San Pedro, this is the historical Lighthouse.

And this is the pier in Manhattan Beach (LA).
Further north, this is Monterey.....

.....and this is the nice view from Hwy1.

And this is San Francisco: a nice view from a hill......

.....the Pyramid.....
....a view from the Height.....

...the Mission Dolores...

....Alcatraz.....

....and the famous Cable cars.
Walking around San Francisco you may happen to see anything......

....also Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinski!!!!!

Thanks for the lollipop Monica!
