Heckler & Koch MiGL
Heckler & Koch MiGL

This mini grenade launcher was developed for the HK77UK, adding a little more firepower to it. Instead of six minigrenades, it carries only four. Range is the same, as well as damage. This may be used as a separate weapon just by removing the attachment lugs. The weapon comes with an attachment system that is capable to mount the MiGL on the standard HK77UK and the HK77UKSD models. This attaches to two small holes on the right side of the weapon, above the pistol grip. Removing/attaching requires Two Complex Actions, and a standard multi-tool can be used. Due to the recoil system, the slide is locked for if fired, it would jerk the user's hand, causing injury. To prevent this, the attachment locks the slide, and to clear a jam, the user has to remove the grenade launcher. To prevent unnecesary gas pressure, a small vent is located in front of the clip to reduce this. Another feature is the use of caseless mini-grenades (add 50% to the cost of the mini-grenade) avoids the necessity of jammed shells in the chamber.

HK77UKSD mount shown.

The mount is attached to the weapon by slipping the guide rings on the barrel/suppressor. The rear of the mount, which using thumbscrews, is removed. It is formed to slip over the foregrip, thereby ensuring the weapon is properly secured. The cover is then put on, then screwed on. The standard mount for the non-suppressed HK77UK fits over the Gas-Vent, and is modified to still allow the Gas-Vent to function properly. Naturally, the SD mount simply slips on.
Type Mount Concealability Weight
HK77UK Under 8 .2
HK77UKSD Under 8 .3

It takes 3 Complex Actions to mount/remove the HK77UK mount, and when the weapon is mounted (the MiGL), it offers 3 points of compensation due to the forward weight.
