Cyber Optic Triangulation (COT)

A modification to smartgun systems, this allows characters to see through the scope in their eye as though they were actually looking through it. The system projects the scope's image in the users eye in a small window. All normal functions may be used, zooming and simple targeting. This also helps in targeting the weapon, giving a -1 modifier to all attacks when using this system. One bonus to this system is that it may be used as a "periscope", allowing attacks without actually seeing the target. However, the character does not get the extra -1 modifier, he or she only gets the smartgun modifier. The COT system requires a modification to the induction pad for smartguns. It adds two magnetic interface circles, which interface with the ones on the butt of the weapon, just like a regular smartgun. The COT system can also be a stand alone system, allowing the same benefits but without any smartgun benefits. To modify the weapon to accept the system requires a Electronics Shop, 8 hours, and a Electronics B/R (5) test. Successes can reduce the amount of time required to modify the system.

Knopler GN45 combined scope
Developed for use with the MSG55, the Knopler GN45 is usable with the MSG67, and the newer MSG57. The G80 Weapons System can also mount this, merely clipping the top, and superimposing it's image over the day scope system. Rugged and reliable, the system is fully waterproofed and the lens is flash resistant to prevent glare from giving away the shooter. The GN45 uses the latest technology, and can view in both Low-Light, and Thermographically. When mounted on the scope mount, it interfaces with the Smartlink system, allowing full DNI control, and works as an Image Magnification-3 scope. It is also COT compatible.

Surefire 700 handguard system
Mounting a tactical flashlight, this offers faster target acquisition in dark rooms. The flashlight is automatically set for a tight beam, which cannot be adjusted. Mounting this in place of the standard MP7 handguard does not reduce concealability, and interfaces with the Smartlink II (requires a Free Action smartlinked, Simple Action manual), but can be manually activated through a pressure bar on both sides of the handguard. And it requires a full minute to install/remove and can also be mounted on all MP5 versions as well, excluding the SD series of the weapons.
