Based on the MP2057, the MP2060 is an improved version of the venerable submachine gun. The weapon incorporates all the features of the legendary MP5 submachinegun series produced in the past 70 years. Like the MP2057, the MP2060 has a variable setting gas system for silenced operations, as well as a detachable suppressor, as well as a collapsible stock that fits neatly to the butt of the weapon, with no protrusions, and includes a transparent magazine
to allow the user to quickly determine how many rounds he or she has left. The weapon is fully ambidextrous, with the bolt and magazine release buttons on both sides of the trigger. It is chambered in .45ACP.
The silencing system is the main unique feature of the weapon, able to select the amount of gas that bleeds the propellant, preventing the bullet from achieving supersonic speeds, making the weapon quiter than normal suppressed submachine guns. The system has two settings: a low pressure setting that lowers the velocity of the bullet, thereby reducing the "crack" a normal bullet
makes when fired. The second setting is the "normal" setting for standard supersonic ammunition, use normal SMG ranges. This requires a Simple Action to switch between the settings. On high pressure without the suppressor, use normal rules, as well as with the suppressor. On the low setting, reduce the Power by 1, and use Shotgun ranges, and add a further +2 to any Perception
Tests, along with the suppressor. The weapon features iron sights for both settings to allow the shooter get the best accuracy possible. The detachable suppressor is another unique feature of the weapon, which is longer than normal to allow it to thread inside of the barrel shroud. When fully tightened the rigidity of the barrel allows better accuracy*. Additionally, the MP2060 comes equipped with integral Smartlink II hardware. The other feature is a manual mechanism that allows the cocking handle be used as a bolt-action style weapon. The cocking handle can rotate up to 90 degrees and it requires a Simple Action to fire between shots, which the mode can only be SS.
The main improvement over the MP2057 is the inclusion of the unique Modular Weapons System mounted on the foregrip of the weapon. This system features four picatenny rails that can attach various items. They can use any system that the TAG FireForce system can use, with the notable exception of the underbarrel grenade launcher. Vertical grips, laser sights, ultrasound sights, tactical lights, all can be mounted on the weapon with no loss in capacity of it's mission. The front sight of the MP2057 has been modified to fold down to allow any accessories to have an unobstructed view. This makes the weapon slightly heavier, but the additional flexibility when performing a mission outweighs this concern.

The weapon comes with an integral Smartlink II, and treat it as having an integral Gas-Vent IV system. The weapon can only accept top-mounted accessories. The MWS allows it to mount four more accessories on the weapon. However, users must still acount for concealability loss.
