With the introduction of the J6, M7, J9, and the 9mm PARA, Seburo comes back with the J12 Light Machine Gun. Thier introduction into the heavy weapons market, the J12 continues on Seburo's tradition of high quality firearms. The frame is made of advanced alloys, allowing drastic weight savings compared to other materials available. The weapon is a bullpup, clip-fed automatic capable weapon firing the 5.56 x 45mm caseless round. A specialized clip holds an impressive 50 rounds for the squad automatic role. Each of these clips feature snap points to carry additional clips. It has no iron sights, and can only be fired with the Knopler Image Magnification-1 scope. Other scopes and accessories may be mounted on the quick change mount, in place of the Knopler scope. Seburo also installed a folding bipod to allow it to perform it's designated role. One feature that is dfferent from any weapon is the location of the cocking handle. Instead of being on the side, as in normal weapons, the handle is located under the weapon, directly behind the grip. In essence, this allows the firer to load the clip, cock it, then put his/her hand on the grip. The ejection port for any jammed rounds ejects upward, and prevents any rounds hitting the firer. Recoil compensation is provided by the barrel mounted Imp. Gas-Vent III and the shock pads mounted on the rear of the stock. Smartlink II is fitted as standard.
