The game

After having participated  in great number of summer matches and with an excellent balance, the G.M. Vktor Moskalenko offers us again their analyses. Its last great victory was in the International of Sants where he became champion in the last round. The only chance for him was victory and after almost 6 hours and more than 100 movements he did it. But without any doubt the decisive game of the match was the one that faced  him to GM Azer Mirzoev in the seventh round. A game relayed by Internet and that left more than one ohhhhhhh when in  the 23rd play, Viktor seemed to give the Queen. A brilliant game.

Serious error that loses the game. After this play from black, white queen accedes to the square c8 with devastating effects.  It had been better 21 Bxe5  22.Bxe5 f6 23.Bg3 with advantage. If 23.Bxg6? hxg6 24.Qxg6+ Kf8 25. Qh6+ with initiative
22. Bd6 Rb7

An interesting game now for white is a4 (with advantage). Nevertheless the play written is better.
