Toufuu-sensei's mother, who comes to town for one episode toting a butsuban shrine to her husband and a picture of a muscle-bound girl, with good hips for bearing grandchildren (her main qualification), that she's arranged for Toufuu to marry.
Mikado Sanzanin, Azusa Shiratori V3.6-V4.4 Nettouhen 7
Miakado means 'emperor of Japan', Sanzanin '3000 palaces', Azusa 'catapla tree' and Shiratori 'white bird'.
Azusa and Mikado are the 'Golden Pair' of martial arts skating, but one day Azusa steals P-chan from the ice-rink (she steals cute things and gives them French names), and Akane goes to Ranma for help. Then when Mikado (a playboy lady-killer) tries to kiss Akane, Ranma interfears and now Ranma and Akane will fight the Golden Pair over P-chan. However, Ranma's problems are just beginning as Ryöga wants to skate with Akane, but neither of the two boys can skate. Also, while practising to skate, onna-Ranma gets kissed by Mikado (!) and she then turns back male, and just manages to beat up Mikado. While Ranma sulks over being kissed, Mikado swears revenge....

Sentarou has been engaged to Satsuki, a Miss Martial Arts Tea Ceremony winner, but can't bring himself to love her, so he tries to find a strong young girl who can beat Satsuki, and so marry someone of his choice. One day in the rain, Sentarou is riding unconscious on his runaway horse when he is run down by onna-Ranma (who is being chased by Shampoo), but then Sentarou gives Ranma some drugged tea, and she later wakes up in a wedding kimono....
'döjö yaburi' The Dojo Destroyer V8.1-4 Nettouhen 12
A huge fat man who challenges döjö's to combat, and if he wins he takes their döjö sign (which finishes off that döjö), and one day he challenges to Tendö Dojo. Genma and Soün want Akane and Ranma to fight together, but Shampoo has a special powder that will cure Ranma, if he goes on a date with her - on the same day the Dojo Yaburi will turn up...
Ryokou-san (Mr. Trip) V8.5-8
The local acting troupe want Akane to star in a completive drama contest, and is overjoyed to find that they want her to play Juliet. When Ranma overhears that the winners will be able to take a trip to see China, he decides to play the role of Romeo, despite the fact that he knows nothing about the role, and that Kunö, Gosunkugi and Happosai want to be Romeo as well...

At her previous school Ukyö had been obsessively approached by Tsubasa, and when Ukyö moved she thought she had seen the last of her, especially as she had sent her a picture of onna-Ranma saying she was happy with Ranma. However, one day Ranma receives a letter of challenge, and is then attacked by a post-box, inside of which is cute little Tsubasa...
Shirokuro (white-black) V11.1-3 Nettouhen 140
The Hibiki family dog appears on TV one day with her young puppies, and Akane desperately wants to see the cute puppies. But Akane left without Ryöga, so he forces Ranma to take him to his house (under false pretentions), but Ranma isn't happy to left Akane alone with Ryöga, and decides to interfear...
Bake-Neko (Ghost-Cat) V20.7-8 V14.2-3 Nettouhen 54
A huge incorporal cat inhabits a large bell, and is seeking a wife, in particular one wearing a special small bell. In an attempt to remove Akane from the competition, Shampoo forces Ranma to take the large bell, and late at night the cat walks into Akane's room, and then Shampoo turns up wearing the small bell...
Yotarou and his mother V14.6 Nettouhen 57
Yotarou ('give great son') is a spoilt young boy who refuses to go outside, unless he can play with a panda, and Genma happy takes advantage of the expensive food at the rich household, but then Ranma turns up and wants his father back...
(two little kids thinking Happosai's Santa) V14.11
Two young children (a boy and a girl) wanted to meet Santa, so they set up a trap, with a pantyhose, and caught Happosai instead. Happosai did tricks for the kids, then left, but he also left one of Akane's panties, and the kids used the address on it to track Happosai down. When they find Happosai, he decides to show them how to be Santa, but he just goes on his normal panty raids etc. In the end, Happosai tries to think of something good to do for the kids, but collapses from the effort, but then later comes up with his Happou Dai Karin Special - a big firework.
Gambler King V15.4-7 Nettouhen 67-8
Ten years ago, when Ucchan and Ran-chan were childhood friends, Ukyö had lost to the Gambler King who targets children with his gambling tricks, but Ukyö looses too. So she asked Ranma to help, but he also lost just about everything he had, including the Tendö Dojo (Ranma knew he was going to inherit it), and now the King has turned up to claim it.
The 4 Nuku-man men (Niku, An, Curry and Pizza) V15.8-11 Nettouhen 70
Back when Ranma was in China and starving at one point, she saw a man running off with some stolen food, so she took it and ate it. The the bowl of food contained the Dragon's Whisker, which makes men's hair grow quickly (in the case of healthy young Ranma) or restores hair on bald men (Genma, Happosai and the Nuku-man men) and so Ranma got another Dragon's Whisker to tie up his braid so that it wouldn't have an effect. The Niku-man men have come to Nerima to get the Dragon's Whisker from Ranma, and when Happosai and Genma find out its properties, they gang up on Ranma as well. But Ranma doesn't want to give it up, especially as his own hair will run out if it grows too much.
Picolette Chardin II and Madame Saint-Paul V16.8-V17.3 Nettouhen 87-89
A long time ago when Genma and Soün were training together, they found the Chardin mansion, and they got into a eating contest because they were starving. They both lost because they were facing practitioners of Martial Arts Dinner, and to pay for the huge food bill, the two men promised one of their daughters to the Chardin's. In present day Japan, Picolette arrives at the school, and invites the Tendö girls to a dinner party, and gets into a challenge with Ranma - who looses and as to pay a 100,000 yen food bill. Picolette has come to claim the prize his father won for him - a bride. Female-Ranma says she'll go, because she wants to learn Martial Arts Dinner.
All the great masters of Martial Arts Dinner have had huge mouths and long lounges, except one, and Ranma needs to find out how a normal person can win at Martial Arts Dinner, because she is getting nowhere with the training, and can't take off the steel corset Madame Saint-Paul locked her in until she learns. From the book, she knows that the normal person who won used Gourmet de Fois Gras but since the page is missing, she doesn't know what it is. Eventually Ranma figures it out, and challenges Picolette to a match so she doesn't have to marry him, but Madame Saint-Paul knew Ranma was practising Gourmet de Fois Gras, and gives Picollet special training.
Harumaki and Gyouko V20.9 Nettouhen 126
Harumaki means spring/egg roll, and Gyouko has exactly the same kanji as gyouza (Chinese meat-and-vegetable fried dumpling).
Ranma has been having nightmares where this old guy tries to kiss onna-Ranma (calling her Gyouko) and then a boy comes along and shows Ranma a picture of an old man (the same as the one from the nightmare) and he takes Ranma and Akane to a hospital where the old man is on life support. Ranma reminds him of his first love, and his spirit comes out of his body, and wants to go on a date with Ranma, who accepts because she doesn't want more nightmares.
Arumajiro (Armadillo) V20.10
Kunö's small white dog, who shows up once and gets used by Kunö like a canary in a cage, to test Kodachi's cooking.
Mariko Konjou V22.7-23.1 Nettouhen 136-7
Mari could mean ball and ko is the standard female name ending, the original (now archaic) meaning is branch/twig, and now means article/item/rule/law etc, and kon means at present/this/today's etc. So Konjou could mean 'today's law', and other variations.
Mariko is a martial arts cheerleader, who together with her team, cheer for her school (Seisyun) and uses her skills to make them win - eg by knocking out the other players with her batons. One day Furikan have a volleyball match with Seisyun, with Akane as captain, and only Ranma's intervention stops Akane from being knocked out, but Furikan still loose, and this makes Akane cry. When Kunö tries to console her, Ranma kicks him flying and he lands on top of Mariko (who has been lonely without a boyfriend) and Kunö gives her a bandage, introduces himself and walks off, and he becomes Mariko's first love.
Later Kunö begs onna-Ranma to cheer for his kendo team, but then Mariko turns up, and Ranma and Mariko challenge each other to Martial Arts Cheerleading - Ranma because Mariko made Akane cry, and Mariko because she knows Kunö loves onna-Ranma.
Yohyou V23.5-6
A young man (name means 'present arms') who lives with a butler alone in his castle on a private island, and is looking for the girl who left the foot-print mark on the back of his head. This mark from the girl who has suddenly appeared, stepped on him and eaten his entire picnic and then ran off.
Herb, Mint and Lime V24.1-V25.2
Part of the few surviving members of the Musk Dynasty of martial artists, who studied animals to help them practice. They took this a little too far, and used to throw animals into the Spring-of-drowned-Girl at Jusenkyö, and then marry them. Their children then possess some of the traits of the animals. For example Mint is a young boy with wolf blood, and can move very quickly (easily defeats Mousse), Lime is a big lad with tiger blood and is incredibly strong (easily defeats Ryöga) and Herb is the leader with dragon blood, and easily defeats Ranma. The three had come from their home in China to see Cologne and have brought the Chiisuiton with them - a bucket which curses water such that anyone with the Jusenkyö curse will stay permanently in cursed state, and are looking for the Kiifuiton which undoes the effect of the Chiisuiton and is rumoured to be in Japan.
After finding out that Ranma is cursed, Herb splashes Ranma with water from the Chiisuiton and then leave. After finding out about the full situation, Ranma prepares to chase Herb, and Ranma and Mousse decide to follow because they think it can cure them, and is also a good opportunity to get rid of Ranma.
However, the real truth is that Herb has exactly the same curse as Ranma, but because Ranma revealed that Herb was female (she was walking about wrapped up) he's not going to let Ranma be half cured as well.
Shinnosuke and grandfather V25.10-V26.11 Special OAVs 1-2
When Shinnosuke was a child his grandfather worked at an exotic zoo, but one day all the animals became huge, and the area changed, but Shinnosuke and his grandfather stayed in the new forest to protect the nearby villages from the big animals. As a child Akane had got lost in the woods, and was saved by Shinnosuke from a huge platypus (and he got scratches on his back for his trouble), only to be carried to his house by Akane when he fell into his own trap. He gave a special whistle to Akane before she left. In the present Akane sees a TV broadcast about the animals of the forest, answers a call to the döjö asking for help, and then remembers the incident from 10 years ago. In her old stuff she finds the whistle and leaves the döjö to return the whistle and to thank Shinnosuke for saving her life, and Ranma is sent after her to bring her back.
Ryü Kumon V28.1-19
Ryü's Kumon martial arts döjö was destroyed when his father learned some powerful moves (the Umisenken) from a travelling martial artist, and practised them on their ram-shackle house, causing it to collapse, and bury his father. Ryü is now searching for the twin art (Yamisenken) which is more powerful, and has taken the name Ranma Saotome in the hope of being able to infiltrate the Saotome School.
Pink and Link V29.3-7
Ten years ago Cologne had brought Shampoo with her when visiting a near-by village to get some herbs, when she was attacked by Pink (who used a special root), only to be saved by Link (after Pink had left) who gets beaten up by Shampoo - because they look identical. As revenge every time Shampoo went to the village she severely beat up the twins. When an article about Shampoo's 'happy marriage to Ranma' appears in Shampoo's village newspaper, Pink and Link come to Japan for revenge.
The possessing oni, and the monkey priest V29.8 Super OAV 2
2000 years ago a priest had trapped a oni (Japanese monster/demon) in a small box, and now the seal is about to fade away. Before it can be replaced Happosai uses it to blow his nose, and the oni escapes. The oni possesses people and makes them do 'evil' things, but can't stand pain and leaves someone after they get hurt, but what will everyone do now that it has possessed Kasumi?
Kinnosuke V29.9-11
Nabiki goes on a date with Kinnosuke and is happy to get lots of presents and similar from him (which happens when she normally dates boys), but he had sent all the bills to her home. To clear up revenge Nabiki challenges Kinnosuke to date battle where the first person who spends 10 yen of their own money looses, and has to pay all the debts.

A okonomiyaki cafe owner friend of Ukyö's who looks like a spatula.
Lukkosai V31.1-3
An old 'friend' of Happosai who comes to the döjö as a little boy (having the curse from Spring-of-Drowned-Boy helps) to get a special ink tablet from Happosai.

When Ranma accidently disturbs a doll, it possesses Akane and tries to kill Ranma.
Rouge V32.1-5
A Indian girl who fell into Spring-of-drowned-Ashura (Ashura is the 6-armed, 3-headed Indian warrior Goddess) who wants to get back her 'Source of Power' from Pantyhose, but he has no idea what she's talking about.
Asuka the white lilly V32.6-7
10 years ago Asuka and Kodachi fought over the school-boys to get the best looking one, and decide to challenge each other in 10 years time to boyfriend contest.
Densuke V33.1
A sick young boy at hospital who won't take his medicine unless a pretty nurse will give it to him, who meets female-Ranma when she steals fruit from the tree outside his window.
Hayato Myoujin, and his pet octopus Patoratsyu V33.10-11
10 years ago, just after Ranma had left Ukyö she had gotten into a fight with a young takoyaki maker, and the looser has to wear a stupid mask for the rest of their life. Ukyö never took it seriously, but Tako did and after wearing the mask for 10 years has come back for revenge.
