| Wheeler and Linka told what they could back at the island. The others had found them lying unconcious near where Captain Planet had let them in the robotic slug. "A sixth ring?" Kwame questioned Wheeler. Wheeler nodded dumbfounded. "How can that be?" Kwame turned to Gaia. She hung her head down low. "Years before you all took over there was another band of Planeteers. One of them had the green ring of Nature. His name was David Kamek. He led the team and tried to tap into more of the planetary power. "He took too much and lost his mind. The other Planeteers confronted him. He nearly killed them all. Captain Planet had to use the elements of Earth and Water to keep charging the Nature powers. When it had finally taken too much the ring was unable to perform. It was too much for him to use so he was powerless. Captain Planet belived he had killed him. "After that I could not sense the green ring and depowered Captain Planet so that he did not need the green ring. The Planeteers disbanded and would not reform until you all joined." Part 5 |
