| "ZARM? Why, Lord, why? What in the world is Zarm doing here?" Ma-Ti burst into tears over hearing who was invading Arus. "It's all right, little buddy. Everything will be all right." Wheeler tried to console Ma-Ti, but Ma-Ti was close to throwing a tantrum. And Wheeler could not blame him. "Who the heck is Zarm?" Sven asked the Planeteers. The Voltron Force were curious, because they had never heard of Zarm. "Zarm is a very evil spirit. He formerly inhabited the earth, but got deported to space for being evil," Kwame said, sheer fear in his face. "He wants to conquer the earth, destroy the life on it, make the humans his slaves, and make Gaia, the Spirit of the Earth, his," Linka said, hyperventilating. "Sounds just like Zarkon and Lotor to me," Keith reassured Linka. "Wonder if they are related," Romelle said. "Not that I know of," Gi replied. "However, I would not be shocked if Zarm was trying to join forces with Planet Doom." "Seems to me they are both creeps," Hunk exclaimed. "Very evil. We have to stop them." Kwame was getting energetic. "But how in the universe did he know that we were coming to Arus? Is he following us?" Ma-Ti wondered out loud, still in tears. "No, he has not followed you." King Alfor appeared to the Voltron Force and Planeteers together. "He did go to Planet Doom and join forces with Zarkon." However, he has no clue that you Planeteers are here. Therefore you are able to counterattack using your secret weapon." "Secret weapon?" Lance gave the Planeteers a sly smile. "You'll see!" Wheeler replied, thinking of Captain Planet. "Remember everyone: the power is yours!" Alfor said as he left. "Bye, Father!" Allura was happy about the good news her father gave her. "The Planeteers would be a welcome new defender to Arus," she announced joyfully. "Now we have to make sure that we can foil this attack wisely," Coran told everyone. "Let's go Voltron Force!" Keith and the rest of the Voltron Force ran towards their Lions. Coran, Sven, and Romelle would try to talk directly to this new "visitor" to see what he wanted. And the Planeteers and Bandor hid in a turret of the Castle of Lions, so that Zarm could not find them. Coran, Sven, and Romelle exited the drawbridge towards the landing area. "Hello there. Welcome to Arus." Coran said to the guards coming from the comet, pretending that he did not know anything about who the visitor was. "Take me to your leader!" said the figure. The good guys did not need to ask who was Zarm. He looked so imponent and intimidating. "Uh, well, I am the prime minister, but...she's the Queen of Pollux!" Coran said trembling, pointing at Romelle. "Chort vozmi! Zarm is already screwing up their minds!" Linka could tell from the tower by watching the scene. "Worse, he is messing with their hearts!" Ma-ti told her. "Heart." Ma-ti used his powers. "Zarm is lying to them, making them fear." "Are they gonna be all right?" Bandor asked. He was concerned about his sister and brother-in-law. "Well, I hope the Voltron Force knows what they are facing," Gi said, just as worried. "Hey you! You do not seem to come in peace! What the heck are you doing in our planet?" Lance yelled at Zarm from his Red Lion. "A-ha, insurrects. You will pay for your disobedience," Zarm said "This is a free planet. Nobody can take its freedom away," Keith said emphatically. "Well, I could see the Doom Team could not do it by themselves. But with me, they sure can." "Oh my goodness, it is worse than I suspected!" Allura told her teammates. She was starting to fear too. "Ha ha ha, you will never defeat us now!" Lotor said. He was standing next to Zarm, ready to fire a huge cannon from Zarm's comet. "We're dead meat!" Pidge said. "No you're not!" Kwame said, running from the castle drawbridge. "Let our powers combine!" Part 4 |
