Vacation: 2003
We went to the same place as we do every year, the island called Cape Hatteras amongst the Outer banks of North Carolina... since my grandparents own a rent-beach house down there, we get to go for any week we choose for half off. Hehe. I think I appreciated it more this year than any other. I'm not sure why, but I was just delighted to be down there and it's been the most relaxing week of my entire year. I allowed myself to do nothing if I wanted to do nothing, but I ended up reading about 600 pages of my current novel. I took lots of pictures, bringing both my old digital and my Canon. Here are the digital photos... I haven't even had the 35mm developed yet. I think making this page just might break off the 3 MB of free storage I have left... and I'll have to start paying. I'm willing... I look at this site as a "backup" I can save my pictures to and still access it from anywhere, no matter what happens to my computer. Anyway, glimpse through these for a taste of my experience in the beauty of this island... and a neighboring island called Ocracoke.
