| That's right, they're the famous How Mei girls! And I actually found out their names! Junko, Mikako, Eri, Harumi, and Sayuri. They are perhaps the most loved characters in the show. Why, I don't know. Anyway, they work in the kitchen with How Mei, and that's about the extent of their role. |

| How Mei Uh, Jeica, your cook has boobs. That's right! I thought that How Mei was a guy! And a really cute guy! So sue me! In reality, How Mei is a chinese woman who works as the cook aboard the Nadesico. She has a rather strange history. When she first joined the crew, she fell in love with some guy. It ended up with him dying, and his last wish was to have some paella (A mexican dish with shrimp and things with heads on) like his mother used to make. How Mei tried to make it, but all she knew how to cook was chinese foods. . .plus she didn't have any saffron, a key ingredient. When her b/f died, How Mei was devastated, and made it her goal to always be able to serve a man's last meal. . .just the way his mother did. So, now her spice rack is full and she's learned to cook dishes from around the world. |

| Gai Can you say obsessed? Gai cares more about Gekiganger then anyone else in the series. . .unfortunately, he's not in it much. Indeed, he dies in the third/fourth episode. how sad. However, he's a very happy character and was one of Akito's best friends. He was also the second pilot aboard the Nadesico. He provided lots of humor in the few episodes he was in. |

| Gort He's big, he's scary, and there is apparently no point to him being in the show. Gort would make a great mystery man. . .if he wasn't so ugly and scary. I honestly have no idea why he's in the show, other then to provide Yurika with bad instructions and information. Supposedly he's in charge of the Nadesico mission, but. . .anyway, I've decided that he has a crush on Ines. Once again, very little evidence to prove my hypothesis, but there it is. |

| Ines Ines begins as a kind of mystery woman, but later learns to explain things. . .in far too much detail. Ines is picked up by Megumi and Akito in the second tape when they first arrive on Mars. She is apparently the spokeswoman for the Martian survivors, and it later turns out that she helped to design and build the Nadesico. She serves the role of "The Scientist." She is also known as "The Eye" of the Nadesico. hee hee. |

| Prospector how lovely. A man without a name. The prospector is actually a kind of cool character. He was given the job of coming up with the crew for the Nadesico, and for some reason had to accompany everyone on their mission. He's kind of strange, and there's no way to describe him. He's very by the book, but not in a spastic way like Jun. Just watch the series and see what I mean. |

| Seiya Last but not least, Seiya is, sad to say, one of my favorite characters in the series. He's supposedly the mechanic aboard the Nadesico, but he spends most of his time being a . He hates Akito for getting all the woman. Seiya would like a woman. . .any woman, he doesn't really care. The only background info I know about him is that he supposedly has 'a frigid wife' back on Earth. |

| Yurika's Dad Sorry, I don't know his name. Frankly, I don't care. He's a bit of a , and loves talking about how "well-endowed" his daughter is. ::twitch:: Anyway, he begins as an enemy since he's with the united people, but other then that, there's not much point to him. |
