By the Fountain

The night is water light
cold and trickling
through my fingers
against my fingernails
my hair spilling
across your lap
into the dark lit fountain
gold and silver light combine
your fingers in my hair
flowing to the water
a hand on my shoulder
and my hand on yours
when magic becomes life
quiet excitement against my veins
gentle pulsing soft light dark sigh
I can see your heartbeat in the water
and feel your life through my skin.

Listen.
Can you hear it?
the sound of the moon
singing light
across our transformed naked souls
