Fortune Cookie

Recently, I have started collecting fortune cookie fortunes for my own amusement.
Some are amusing, some are stupid, and some are very insightful and touching.
Here is my collection of fortunes. I will add more as I get them.

Your luck is about to change.

You look great, and you know it!

Too much of everything is just enough.

To be wronged is nothing unless you continue to remember it.

There is no substitute for good manners...except perhaps fast reflexes.

The star of riches is shining upon you.

Speed is substitute for accuracy.

Some people are born mediocre, some people achieve mediocrity,
and some people have mediocrity thrust upon them.

Just because everything is different doesn't mean everything has changed.

The only way to have a friend is to be one.

You can't ride in all directions at one time.

You will make many changes before settling down happily.

You will attend an unusual party.

Be generous, and the favor will be returned.

When one door closes, another will open.

Many receive advice, few profit by it.

Your skills will accomplish what the force of many cannot.

Experience is a marvellous thing that enables you to recognise a mistake
when you make it again.

Try to be the best of whatever you are, even if what you are is no good.

The face of nature reflects all of life's ups and downs.

Reality is for people who lack imagination.

If you think big enough, you'll never have to do it.

Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage.

Ask a friend to join you on your next voyage.

He who knows he has enough is rich.

Money is better than poverty, if only for financial reasons.

The cost of living hasn't affected its popularity.

Someone is watching you from afar.

Appearances are often deceiving.

You will be recognized and honored as a community leader.
o.O

Spare no expense to save money.

Good things come to those who wait. Be patient.

Improvisation is the key to success.

The road to success is always under construction.

Cleanliness is next to impossible.

Choose your battles wisely.

No one knows what he can do until he tries.

Murphey's Seventh Law:
Left to themselves, things tend to go from bad to worse.

Food for thought is no substitute for the real thing.

One can't proceed from informal to formal by formal means.

Hindsight is an exact science.

Be content with your lot. One cannot be first in everything.

Nothing in this world is accomplished without passion.
