Kings and Queens

Part 1
EFFECT: This is a two part trick, here is the first part. You lay the four kings in a pile and the four queens in a pile. You then pick up the queen pile and place it on the king pile (or vice-versa, it doesn't matter). You turn the packet face down and tell a spectator to cut the deck as many times as he or she wishes. After that is done, you place the packet behind your back and start drawling the pairs out together! For instance, you bring out the spade king with spade queen, then the heart king with heart queen, and so on!

ITEMS NEEDED FOR TRICK: All the kings and queens from a deck of cards.

SECRET SETUP AND PREFORMANCE: There is no secret set up, just find all the kings and all the queens in a deck of cards and bring them out. Place all the queens together and all the kings together. All you have to do is make sure that the order of the suits is the same. For example, lay the kings out as diamond, spade, club, and heart, you have to do this with the queens too, so the queens are also diamond, spade, club, and heart. Put one of the packets on top of the other and turn the deck face down. Tell the spectator to cut as many times as they wish, it doesn't matter! Take the deck behind your back and take the top four cards off, so you now have 2 decks with 4 cards in both behind your back. Now, simply take the top card of both decks and bring it out. They will be suprised to see they are a king and queen of the same suit! Do the same with the next ones, and so on.
Part 2
EFFECT: This is a two part trick, here is the second part. After magically finding all the pairs of the same suit. You take all the pairs together and turn it face down. Again, have the spectator cut the deck as many times as they wish. take the cards behind you back and then pull out the four kings in your right hand and the four queens in your left!

SECRET SETUP AND PREFORMANCE: When you lay out the united pairs in part 1 of the trick, make sure all the queens are on top or all the kings are on top. Have the spectator cut the deck, same as before, the cutting does nothing. Take the deck behind your back and seperate the even cards from the odds. That means take the 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th cards from the deck and seperate them from the others.
