Twist And Shout

This effect is another version of the twisting the aces type routine, but with a different finale that makes the effect so much stronger. The four Aces turn one after the other, with a surprising finale for the routine!

method: On top of the deck, from top down you should have: 10H, QH, JH and KH. Produce the four Aces or just take them out and leave them face up on the table, from top down: AD, AS, AH, AC.  Force the 10H to a spectator and once it is returned, control it to the top of the deck, directly above the other Hearts (QH, JH and KH already set up). Now you are to turn the 10H face up in the middle of the deck with a Braue Reversal.

To wit: the right hand takes the deck from above and the right thumb obtains a break at the top card. The left hand cuts half of the deck from the bottom and turns these cards face up on top. The right thumb has its break in the middle of the deck. The left hand cuts all the cards below the break, turns them face up and re-places them on the bottom. Turn the deck face down. The 10H is face up in the middle and the other Hearts are back on the top.  Obtain a break below the top three cards of the deck with the little finger of the left hand. The right hand picks up the Aces and squares them onto the deck. In so doing, the three cards above the break are added below the Aces.  The left thumb peels off the top Ace onto the deck. With the right hand packet, flip this Ace face down onto the deck. Repeat with the next two Aces and then drop the last Ace, and the cards below it, onto the deck. Finally flip the face up Ace face down onto the deck. The right hand takes the top four cards in a fan, without reversing their order, and on squaring them onto the deck, the right hand takes the fifth below them. Leave the deck aside. The packet from top down should be in this order: AC, QH, JH, KH and AH.  Grip the packet from above in the right hand. The left thumb peels off the top card into the left hand. The right hand flips the other cards face up onto the left hand card, showing the AS, turn it face up and place it onto the red Ace. With the right hand, grip the packet, turn the left hand palm up, and deposit the packet, apparently face up, in the left hand. From top down you should have: AH, AC (both face up), QH, JH and KH face down.  Perform an Elmsley Count (placing the last card counted on the bottom) and apparently an Ace has turned face down. Repeat the Elmsley Count (the last card on top) and two Aces apparently are face down. Repeat the Elmsley Count and three Aces are face down. Repeat the Elmsley Count and you'll show four face down cards. Apparently you have ordered the Aces to turn face down.  Say that the Ace of the same suit as the selected card will turn face up again. Spread the cards, keeping the last two as one and without reversing the order, and you'll show the AH face up on the bottom. Flip the other three face down cards in the packet onto the AH and show the KH, QH, and JH. Take the 10H from the deck and place it with the other cards to show a Royal Flush. Turn the packet face down and put it away onto the deck.
