EFFECT: The magician shows four jacks in a fan. You tell the story of how they are burgulars and the deck of cards is a bank. You then tell about how the jacks were planning a robbery. You closes the fan and places one jack close to the bottom of the deck, one close to the middle, another one a bit higher, and drop the last one on top. Then, the magician says the robbery was taking longer than planned, and the cops came. You take your hand and tap the deck. You say the jacks have ran to the roof (top of the deck), ready for their escape helicopter to arrive, and at that, you show the top four cards to be the jacks!!!
ITEMS NEEDED FOR TRICK: All you need is a normal deck of cards.
SECRET SETUP AND PREFORMANCE: At the beginning, fan the four jacks, but secretly conceal three other cards behind the last jack. Close the fan and place the top card, which the audience thinks is a jack, but is really not, near the bottom of the deck. Take the second card, which is also not a jack in the middle. Take the third card (also not a jack) towards the upper part of the deck. Finally, drop the remaining cards on the top of the deck. Try to do this fast, so the audience thinks this is one card. Now, finish the story and show them all four jacks have magically tranfered to the top. TIPS: Make sure you know the story well, so you won't have to concentrate on telling the story and handling the cards at the same time. You have to practice this trick before preforming! Also, make sure you know how to hold the three extra cards without revealing them.
