| Okay, so I have had my site up for a year now and I have pretty much kept myself out of it, except for the new bowling page. It is now time for me to reveal myself. I am an aspiring high school art teacher. I am working towards my major right now as I am refining my own art abilities and teaching myself how to weld with a little background instruction. I grew up with hotrods at my house and everything has gone downhill from there. I ended up loving old cars of all kinds. My favorites are obviously those that have been kustomized or hopped up. I love the flame paint jobs and racing style graphics, but I have a great love for project cars. I guess it's so I can use my imagination to see what its possibilities may turn out to be. I also got inspiration from friends that I have gained from attending many car shows and those that I have just picked out of the crowd because of a Rat Fink, So-Cal, Mooneyes, or otherwise telling styles. Thus, I became a "greaser chick" and I am right proud of it! As far as tunes go, I have acquired a variety of stuff to cruise to. I dig The Rev. Horton Heat, Brian Setzer's many projects, (Stary Cats, BSO, '68 Comeback Special), Buddy Holly, Elvis, Janiva Magness Band, Social Distortion, Mike Ness, Hillbilly Hellcats, the Rialbenders, Flogging Molly, Hank WIlliams III, Deadbolt, and many many more. I am also planning to do a little freelance writing and photography for an upcoming magazine. We'll see how that one pans out. I have also added myself in on another page. I started our weekly bowling night and you'll see me with the crew on the bowling page. It is a wonderful event that I look forward to every week a nd you would not believe how many Greasers and Californians have attended in this small town in Wyoming. The bond between all of us is growing and I know it will only get better! |
