| Giles is taking the Potentials on a vision quest, like the Buffy went on years ago. Giles doesn't want to leave the Scoobies alone right now, and he doesn't want to be stuck with lots of teenage girls. Giles leaves as Buffy walks downstairs to talk to Spike, who's chained himself against a wall to prevent him from harming anyone if the First should trigger him again. Suddenly, the chip backfires and Spike screams in pain. Buffy joins Willow in the kitchen, who is preparing tea for Kennedy, who's sick. Buffy thinks that the chip is starting to malfunction. Willow brings the tea to Kennedy, who's seems to not be sick at all and fully dressed ready to go. She says she has a mission that Willow needs to help her with. At the Bronze, Willow and Kennedy are on their so called "mission." Willow is having a drink with Kennedy when Kennedy asks personal questions to Willow like how long she has been gay. Willow starts to open up to Kennedy. Back at the house, Spike's chip is still going off occasionally, while Buffy researches. She calls a supposed flower shop to leave a message to Riley. At the Bronze Kennedy tells Willow why she likes her and Willow blushes and smiles. They go home, and they kiss in Willow's room. Willow turns into Warren and doesn't realize it, but Kennedy does. She backs away and Willow looks into the mirror and discovers she is Warren. They rush downstairs and shock everyone. Buffy punches Willow. Willow finally gets through to them and explains that she is Willow and not Warren. Willow leaves with Kennedy to figure out how she can look like Willow again. Willow doesn't want Kennedy to come but she insists. Meanwhile Buffy and Spike travel down to the underground tunnels of the run-down Initiative. Back at the house, Xander receives a call telling him that Giles was attacked back in England. They realize that Giles hasn't touched anything or anyone and they hurry to go find Giles, who is alone with the Potentials. Willow and Kennedy find the UC Sunnydale's Wiccan group, and is shocked to discover they are actually doing spells. Amy reveals herself in the circle, and apologizes to Willow for hurting her in the past. She tries to restore Willow's true form, and when it doesn't work, Willow slaps Amy, surprising everyone including herself. She realizes that she is becoming Warren, and rushes off and magically stops Kennedy from following. Amy talks to Kennedy and accidentally tells her that she knows she's a potential slayer even though she hasn't told her. Back at the Initiative, Buffy and Spike comes across many bodies left from the battle almost three years ago. They are confronted by a demon and Buffy kills the demon and the lights suddenly turn on. A general informs her that Riley Finn has informed them to help her out. They look at the chip and discover that it's degrading. She has a choice to repair it, or to remove it. While Willow buys a gun from a shop, Anya, Xander, Dawn, and Andrew goes and jumps on Giles, and they discover that he is alive, and not the First. At the campus, Kennedy realized Amy did this to Willow. Amy was bitter about how everyone loved Willow and that she had so much power. Amy sends Kennedy to Buffy's backyard where Willow walks in with a gun, just like Warren did when he shot Tara and Buffy. Willow tells her that she was tricked into forgetting about Tara for one moment. Willow tries to fight the evil inside when she breaks down, realizing that she let Tara go and let her be dead. She cries out for Tara wanting her back. Kennedy kisses Willow, turning her back into herself. |
