Buffy and Spike have some kind of history-you can feel the heat between them. Although, technically, as a vampire, he's room temerature.
Andrew
In Andrew's magical fantasy world, we see him sitting down with an old book in a robe smoking a pipe.  He is telling us about "Buffy, Slayer of the Vampyres." He tells about his adventure with Buffy fighting a vampire in a graveyard, when he is interrupted by Anya when she opens the door to his bathroom, saying everyone else needs to use it. Anya says it's a waste of time filming; they are all going to die anyway. He films anyway, and tells us the whole Sunnydale High-Hellmouth-Bringers-First deal.
The next morning, he is filming the potentials eating breakfast. He goes through a slow motion filming of Buffy, Anya, and Spike, when Buffy complains about the filming. Buffy is the only one who doesn't like Andrew filming. She starts a speech, and Andrew wanders off because her speeches are long and boring. He tells the camera about his past of super-villains. He goes back to Buffy who is still on her speech when he notices even Willow seems bored. He looks back on when Willow was evil, but changing the story so that he was more powerful.
Buffy goes to school and finds kids fighting, screaming, and crying. She breaks up fights, slaps someone who's becoming invisible, and encounters a kid about to blow up. Buffy goes into the office where she finds Robin, who's all confused about the chaos. Buffy tells him about the seal's influences and how she already experienced it. Andrew asks Anya and Xander back at the house why Xander left Anya at the alter. At the basement of the school, Buffy explains that she had visions of lots of uber-vamps under there. Robin steps on the seal, and becomes possessed. He yells at Buffy and steps off, unpossessed. They realize they need to close it, and they need to talk to Andrew. Xander and Anya confess about still loving each other. Robin and Buffy tells Andrew that they need to do his thing on the seal. Meanwhile, a bunch of students crowd around the seal, lifting their arms above it, and seal produces blinding light.
Andrew flashes back to Mexico, where they awake from having nightmares. Snapping back to the present, Willow tells him to concentrate at a crystal, which will help bring back memories. He concentrates, and he flashes back. Jonathan heads to the bathroom when the First appears as Warren. Andrew tells it that he got the knife, but doesn't want to stab Jonathan. Warren says if he does, they will become gods. Back to the present, Willow says she needs the knife, where Andrew reveals that it's in with their other knives. Kennedy gets it and Andrew says it says that the blood it spills will bring the oldest evil. Willow researches, while Buffy tells Andrew that its time to visit the seal.
At the school, they find it almost destroyed; kids are attacking each other, causing chaos. The students attack them. Andrew is filming, while Spike and Robin fight upstairs and Buffy takes him to the basement. Andrew retells the story, making him the good guy. At the seal, they find themselves surrounded by students. Anya and Xander are in bed back at the Summer's house, after having sex. They say it was their last time. Robin tries to stake Spike, but gets attacked. Buffy fights the students, and they leave. Buffy and Andrew circle the seal, and Buffy tells him it only closes with the blood of the person that spilled the blood in the first place. Buffy tells him to stop making excuses of what he has done. She yells at him, telling him it was all his fault, and people may die because of him. She holds him over the seal with a knife, and he begins to cry. His tears fall on it, and it closes. Andrew realizes it was his tears that closes it, and that Buffy wasn't going to stab him.
Later, at the house, Andrew talks to the camera and confesses that he killed his friend, and that he doesn't know what will happen, and if he is going to live. Then he turns the camera off.

Andrew confesses that he killed Jonathan.
Rating
5/5
Oops!
This isn't relly a goof but I realized that Buffy and Principal Wood seem to talk about the hellmouth very loud in front of other staff. You think someone would notice.
Trivia
The Mutant Enemy logo says," We are Gods!" at the end of the episode.

In Andrew's dream we can briefly see the cheese man .

Later at a convention
Tom Lenk says this waas his favorite episode to make. He found it really hard not to laugh during the episode, especially the kitchen scene with Emma Caulifield.

This is the last episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer for
Danny Strong and Adam Busch. Danny has been on the show since the unaired pilot.
Andrew:Things are tense in command central this morning. Buffy is clearly concerned with some unknown danger, and the air is filled with foreboding.

Dawn:Oh., um, we're out of Raisen Bran.

Anya:I'll put it on the list

Andrew:That's probably not the unknown danger.
