Faith, Hope, and Trick
Written by David Greenwalt

A limo pulls up to a fast food restaurant. The windows pull down revealing they're vampires, and one has hooves. Mr. Trick, one vampire, orders a soda, and decides he's hungry and orders the drive-thru guy himself.
Xander, Oz, and Cordy are trying to drag Willow off campus for lunch, but she's afraid even though seniors can eat lunch off campus. They meet Buffy across the street, because she's not allowed on campus. They see Scott Hope, who Willow is trying to get Buffy to like.
Buffy and Angel are dancing at the Bronze. She drops the claddagh ring, and Angel picks it up and holds it tight in his hand. It starts to bleed, and then his chest where Buffy stabbed him bleeds. He tells her to go to hell just like he did. You see his face all hideous. Buffy wakes up and her mom is telling her that it's time to face Snyder. They go to school and Snyder is forced to let her back in. But Buffy has to pass tests she missed last her along with a whole bunch of other stuff.
At the library Buffy and Willow sees a bunch of ingredients and Giles tells them he needs to perform a spell to keep Athica dormant. That night at the Bronze, Buffy turns down an offer to dance with Scott. They see a girl dancing with a guy who seems his fashion and dancing are old. The couple leave, and Buffy follows them, certain the guys a vamp. They go outside and find out that the girl is the new Slayer, Faith.
The next day they show Faith around the school. Buffy comes and sees her hitting on Scott.  Buffy has Faith over for dinner that night and she explains how much she loves slaying. Joyce suggests that Faith takes over and Buffy refuses. Faith and Buffy go out patrolling and fight a few vamps. Faith only beats up one while the others attack Buffy. Buffy manages to kill them, and then kills Faith's. The next day Scott gives Buffy a claddagh ring for a present. Then Giles comes up and tells her that Faith's Watcher is dead.
Buffy asks Faith and she reveals Kakistos, a hoofed vamp killed her watcher. Kakistos comes up, and Faith said she ran last time, and the girls ran. They come to his hide-out. Buffy slays Vampire minions while Faith is being beat up by Kakistos. Buffy stakes him, but he doesn't die and Faith picks up a wooden beam and shoves it through his chest. They leave, starving.
Giles tells Buffy the next day that he will train Faith until a watcher comes for her.  Buffy tells him all the details about Angel, and Giles reveals to Willow that there is no spell.
Buffy goes to the mansion and sets the ring down. She leaves, and it starts glowing, and Angel falls down from above.
