The dark swarthy skinned man, was not always what you see now. A child of Tinkers he was raised in the ways of the leaf til he turned 15. One night a woman and a man came upon them, the woman an Aes Sedai, seen him summoning lightening. Questioning him she learned he could summon lightening and thunder with very little effort.

When her warder asked him about his fighting skills was surprised to find the boy knew nothing. The ways of the leaf, one is not taught to fight but to run or turn the other cheek so to speak. Placing a battle axe in his hands, the warder demonstrated the movements for Lain. Lain always a quick learner was able to duplicate the warder's movements with very little effort. Adding his own touch Lain summoned lightening and the axe seemed to come alive in his hands.

Taking him with them, Lain started on a new adventure. Not missing the frivolous nature of his parents people, Lain excelled in his studies at the black tower. Having fought in the last battle where he lost his eye to a dark friend, Lain has been summoned back to the tower in this it's time of need. To take place of the M'Hael.
