A break in the evening�s rain showers encouraged the riders to set out for the evening�s ride. The route selected was to head west and then south to avoid rough looking weather to the north. The group would head down County Highway E two miles past County A and turn around. At the turn around Bryan headed to the front to match wits with Jason. The attempt was short lived as the group split up by the time the County A & E corner was reached.  Jason with Mindy, Rick, and the Harris/Harris tandem in tow reached the corner ahead of Bryan and Mark. On Gibson Drive the riders would run into a stiff rain shower and a number of crackles of lightening. Along the run in back to Medford Jason would shed Rick and Mindy. Mark Temme sported the new carbon fiber Trek bicycle he recently purchased. This is the first official rain ride of the season.  After the ride the group enjoyed the friendly confines of the Harris home with tasty barbeque being served.
