This was to be the FFBC season opener. Had the ride taken place this would have been the earliest season opener on record. But light freezing rain, wet roads, cool temperatures, and a stiff wind from the southwest (the worst wind direction for Rib Lake) caused everyone but the intrepid Jason Ruesch to call off the ride.
